Fantastic experience: Great rates, good people and during the school year they change the routes up.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym! It almost makes me want to move to Corvallis. Very smart layout - climbing circuit upstairs and full training area downstairs. Reasonable rates, lots of community events, clearly youth friendly. Something for everyone. On a weekend or very crowded evening I could see it getting a little congested, but we all boulder better when we take turns anyhow.

Fantastic experience: This place is great. Really well thought out concept for the space. A lot of variety of problems and variety of levels. Certainly anyone can find something to fit their skill level. I don't get over here enough but when I do I always really enjoy it.

Fantastic experience: I love this intentionally inclusive space with an excellent variety of climbing routes, whatever your skill level! They have great kid spaces, great space for classes, great space for celebrations... The staff are all super helpful and awesome, the events with the lower event price are better introductions... I've literally been waiting for over a decade to have a great bouldering gym near me again, and this one I love even more than the first one that set that high bar! Yay, VRG! (PS: secret hidden dinosaurs are a bonus feature ;))

Fantastic experience: I attended the BIPOC affinity climb night tonight. It is truly incredible that Valley Rock is helping carve out safe spaces for people of color/people who look like me. Representation matters! This gym is not only such a cool space, but is inclusive and creating such fun events for the Willamette Valley community!

Positive experience: It's a bit small, but their route setting schedule keeps it interesting. They have a lot of yoga offerings which are included in their fees and makes the slightly steeper price (compared to other gyms) worthwhile. The owners genuinely care about the community and your input, which also adds to the value. Overall, Corvallis is lucky to have it in town.

Fantastic experience: Great for bouldering. Their routes are rated as ranges so it is kind of hard to gauge where your climbing skills are at. They have a downstairs for training and for kids. I think their top rope is still pretty limited so I've only been using for bouldering so far. Employees are friendly

Fantastic experience: One of the more accessable rock gyms that I've been to. They have a wide variety of skill levels for climbing and the membership makes it worth it if you plan on climbing more than 2 times a week.
