Fantastic experience: I've worked out at most of the gyms in Myrtle Beach. Mega Fitness is by far the best gym I've worked out at. It's like a family in there. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. The trainers are the best at the beach. The facility is well equipped and is perfect for beginners to advanced lifters. The cleanest gym I've ever been. If you live in Myrtle Beach or visiting you will not be disappointed. Best gym at the beach.

Fantastic experience: AWESOME facility! Open 24 hours, and always have to scan to get in which keeps out the general public unless staff is there. Not a social club like Planet Fitness which is nice but still expect to have a conversation with anyone and everyone if you'd like. Owners are highly involved with the business and expect to see both Kyle and Steve there on the daily ready to offer advice and a top notch line of products to increase your gains or simply a healthier lifestyle. When you get past the front, you are greeted by top of the line Hammer Strength and Life Fitness equipment. Free weights, Olympic rubber wrapped weights, Pivot Strength equipment, Machines, and cardio including a rower, stair steppers, treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, and recumbent bikes. These guys truly believe in constantly improving their gym, and invest the money they make back into creating a quality workout environment. Expect a few "meatheads" and "heavy lifters" but also be ready for newbies looking to take a drastic look at their health ready to make a change, and the retiree neighbor crowd that is looking to prolong their fantastic Myrtle Beach lifestyle. Gym is clean, locker rooms are ample. Overall a relaxed, yet serious enough health club. If you need a trainer, Jason Raposo and Brian Yager are the answer for your every need, or if a group is your setting, enjoy free classes with membership also where the partners in the class are very supportive.

Fantastic experience: I have worked at Mega Fitness for five years. Why have I stayed working here after graduating from college? Because the members here are like my extended family and you will not find, and I repeat NOT find nicer owners. Both owners, Steve and Kyle, bend over backwards for the members going above and beyond and expanding what we offer here. We have something for everyone! The prices here are absolutely reasonable. We offer week passes for $30 which is $5 a day and includes a 24 hour pass so you can come whenever you want to! This is a GREAT gym! The best gym in MB otherwise I would have left a long time ago! This gym deserves nothing less than a 5 star rating!

Fantastic experience: If your looking for a friendly, convenient and clean fitness center; THIS IS IT. This very reasonably priced center has EVERYTHING you need to stay fit! Perfect price, perfect location, absolute perfect gym. Loved my time, thanks for taking such great care of me and my family during our stay! I'll be back!

Fantastic experience: Over the past 15 years, I have had memberships in several gyms both in New York City as well as in Myrtle Beach. Mega Fitness is by far the best of them all. The equipment is very modern and well maintained, The men's locker room is kept clean at all times, and the atmosphere is inviting. The staff is very helpful and dedicated to providing an excellent facility. I work out six days a week and and enjoy it immensely at Mega Fitness.

Fantastic experience: Has everything you need for any kind of lifter. FAirfield Inn gave us a pass to work out free because they didn’t have a fitness center

Fantastic experience: This is an awesome gym! The cleanest gym and one of the best gyms overall I have ever been to. Great equipment, friendly staff, and great atmosphere. The owner himself welcomed me and stated he appreciated me for my business while entering. While working out I have seen staff/the owner actively cleaning, putting up weights, and keeping everything in pristine condition. If you are looking for a gym to go to while on vacation this is your choice.

Fantastic experience: Was on vacation with the family for Spring Break while in contest prep. This gym offered the perfect plan with 24hr access so I could enjoy time with the family while staying on track with my fitness goals. The gym was packed with everything I needed. Staff was pleasant and the everyday members were friendly.

Positive experience: Awesome gym! Everything is really nice and has a real old-school bodybuilding aesthetic to it. I would rate it five stars but it is a bit on the expensive side, but if you can pay for it, this is an amazing gym that is worth the money.

Fantastic experience: Wide range of strength equipment and plenty space to get an awesome workout whether you live in the area or are just visiting for vacation. Be sure if you're doing a day pass that you go no earlier than 8:30 a.m. to sign the waiver, as this is when they are staffed.

I come in for a week every year (they have a great one-week deal if you’re every in town on vacation) and every time I leave wishing there was something similar where I live. Staff is very friendly, gym is clean, and there’s plenty of good equipment. Already looking forward to being back next year!

Fantastic experience: Clean place. Straight up gym, no bs. Military friendly! Front desk was super kind to me. I wish I would have found this place sooner albeit next time I am in the area I will def come back by. They do offer day or week pass at a reasonable rate. Thank you guys so much! Fantastic experience: I signed up for the winter while on holiday from Canada. This is the perfect gym...friendly staff, easy 24hr access and a non-judgemental diverse group of patrons. I really like the range of people here, there is everything from your serious hard bodies to seniors. They have every type of equipment imaginable and most cardio machines were always available to me. My number one complaint with any gym is if they set the building temperature too high...I found that this gym was kept at a perfect temperature. Can’t say enough good things about this place.

Fantastic experience: Mega fitness offers a reasonably priced day pass ($13) and 3 day pass ($33) for vacationers. Includes 24 hour access. The gym has everything you could need including a wide variety of free weights, plate loaded and cable machines and cardio equipment . The front desk (Liz) was extremely helpful and even helped us plan the restaurants and activities we would visit during our stay. I highly recommend !

Also the Trainers here are top notch. Always educating themselves ensuring sure they’re on top of their game. A 24/7 facility that has everything you need no matter if it’s day 1 or 1 day out from competition. They have it.

Fantastic experience: Down here in Myrtle for vacation and needed a gym for the week. I wish I could take Mega back to Cleveland. Its everything a gym should be. It's not fancy or anything like that, it's a comfortable gym that goes back to basics. Fitness levels of all kind were there. Cant wait to come back.

Fantastic experience: A fine gym. I stopped in to Mega Fitness lately, on a day pass, and it was a positive experience. The facility was clean and comfortable, and stocked with a full range of equipment and free weights (plus a stretching area, an exercise room, and cardio machines, I noticed). The men's locker room, too, was pleasing and well-kept. The cashier was friendly and attentive, and in the end, I had a good, problem-free workout. The gym struck me as a smaller, more homey alternative to the big-chain-types out there, I thought. Thanks a lot for this gym. I'm grateful for your service :D

Fantastic experience: Went on vacation and needed a gym to go to. This place was lit af. They had all the hammer strength machines a bodybuilder needs. The lighting was flawless. I looked like Steve cooks identical twin when I was flexing my shredded 8 pack. And don't forget to mention the ten piece unit working the front desk. All around 5 stars

Fantastic experience: Can't say enough good things about Mega Fitness. Clean, well equipped facility with a friendly staff and welcoming environment. My wife and I came to Myrtle Beach for oir honeymoon and looked up places to train. Mega Fitness was ranked very highly so we decided to check it out. We liked it so mich we trained there 2 days in a row instead of gym hopping like we usually do. When we come back to MB, we'll definitely be coming back to Mega Fitness. Thanks Steve and Kyle.
