Equinox Columbus Circle

Fantastic experience: I am a frequent user of the facility, although when facilitated it is not on a regular basis, but when I am facilitated it is of the frequent nature. I enjoy relaxing after a long day stress.

Fantastic experience: Spotless. Equinox Fitness certainly lives up to it's motto "It's not fitness, it's life". Expensive gym membership dues help maintain Equinox's status. I've spotted celebrity members like Will Smith, Tom Brady and Nate Berkus to name a few.

Fantastic experience: This gym is one of the BEST in NYC. Get a workout in, go to the spa, spot a celebrity, then enjoy the steam room and sauna. THis place is also immaculately clean.

Fantastic experience: Classy, spa-like gym with tons of cardio and weight machines. Kheil's body products in the roomy locker rooms and a super relaxing spa. The trainers are very well educated

Fantastic experience: I normally do not like gyms with no natural sunlight but: - This one is nicely located in Columbus circle. - Has a pool - Layout is nice, everything at one floor - Staff is nice - Itsy's Pilates class on Mondays - Equinox's absolute best yoga teachers are here. Colleen Murphy and Karla Beltchenko.

Fantastic experience: This is probably my second favorite equinox out of all the basic tier ones I've been to in Manhattan. It's one of the bigger ones for sure and really spacious. I like how everything is on one floor. They have a good amount of benches and squat racks and tons of cardio equipment. It's also one of the few equinoxes with a pool.

Fantastic experience: Hate that this gym is in the basement of the Columbus circle mall. But the staff is great. Awesome equipment and great amenities.

Positive experience: I've been coming to this gym for a few years and wanted to leave a positive review/recommendation. The location and accessibility options for this large Equinox are great (albeit its in the lower level and no natural lightning). Place is always clean and has plenty of equipment/weights. Cons: Does get crowded and hectic during peak hours. I also wanted to give a shout out to Fernando! Who's one of best and is always willing to help

Fantastic experience: Probably my favorite location because of convenience. All locations are great but not so great when they are absolutely packed on some hours. I wish they would be open 24 hours as I prefer to workout later in the evening.

Fantastic experience: EQUINOX is hands down the most impressive gym in NYC. Exceptional families and top tier trainers. Not cheap. But you get what you pay for.

Fantastic experience: The manager is very cute. Easy on the eyes. I've finally found out how much membership costs. I haven't met anyone else besides the sweet front desk person and the manager. Did I mention how cute he is. Lord. I don't want to be crude here. Ok. So disappointed however to not see the juice bar operational. I've yet to experience that. But would love to see more of the club.

Fantastic experience: This is not my “home gym” but it is closer to home so I come here regularly for quick workouts before work. The staff is friendly and the equipment is immaculate. Class offerings are abundant and instructors are energetic and knowledgable. Women’s locker room is clean. I was initially deterred to join equinox due to the previous reviews of this location but the experience had changed my mind. I love this place and the chain!

Fantastic experience: New member at Equinox. I read the reviews here and was concerned about lack of light / space / COVID enforcement. I was surprised when I arrived to find none of this true. Yes, the gym is situated underground, and that is what it is. They do a great job at making the space look big and it is ALWAYS being cleaned/vacuumed/so-on. Diego and the entire staff have been more than friendly and helpful with anything we ask of them. I have not witnessed any shaving in the locker rooms (you must do this in the shower), and find that generally people are pretty good with their masks inside the gym and the locker room. Some of the reviews call for practicality, though, and if you are overly concerned about COVID-19, you should probably not consider a gym in the first place at this moment in time. We are all trying our best and it is fantastic to have a nice, clean place to work out at again. Every dollar is well spent here.

Fantastic experience: I have a highly demanding job requiring me to work 12 hour days. So, Equinox at Columbus Circle is worth every cent. The staff at the front desk always greets me with a smile and humor. The music playing in the gym begins to get me motivated. The ultra clean locker room and gym floor makes it easy for me to find whatever I need, from towels to dumbbells. I was surprised at the negative reviews of this locations. Then I read them and realized their complaining about "first-world" problems.

Fantastic experience: This location is one of my favorites. Very nice workout areas and lots of space, with a great locker room area. Lockers are numeric so you don't need to bring a lock. Pool is very nice and quite big for a gym pool.
