Fantastic experience: Empire is one of the BEST CrossFit boxes I’ve ever been to. I travel a lot so I’ve been to several different boxes around the world, and can say there is no place like Empire. Owners Robin and Carol make you feel welcome, included and push you to be the best version of yourself both inside and outside the gym. Robin programs the workouts for the gym and has a very structured program that helps you see improvements in all lifts and conditioning. My CrossFit and Olympic lifting has significantly improved since joining. Last, but not least, the community is like no other. Everyone is friendly, welcoming and nice. Additionally there are lots of different levels of athlete, from very good athletes with competition experience to beginners and everyone in between. Everyone feels welcome and has a place here. And the gym is always so CLEAN!!! I Highly recommend Empire!!

As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by friendly members, coaches, and owners. Carol is truly a remarkable person who really supports everyone and helps push you to your full potential. The gym has everything and anything to satisfy your needs. I had long term back pain and it was fixed with their awesome and super friendly chiropractor. Empire is the GO TO gym.

Fantastic experience: best box i've been in jersey! facility is clean and brand new with all the latest equipment from rogue/concept/assault etc. you can tell that they invest time in planning to programming - very creative, challenging but always fun. experienced and attentive coaches, especially robin who i've trained with for a few years. overall vibe is very welcoming to all, regardless of your fitness level.

The coaching staff really welcomes you and ensures you have a safe and fun workout every time you walk through their doors. The programming and workouts are scaleable to all levels. Whether you’re a beginner or a Crossfit OG, the community is well balanced and an all around great environment to achieve your goals. Everything is brand new and all the equipment is top of the line. COMPETITORS!!!! The open gym hours are amazing and the space is big enough to do your own thing if you follow or want to do your own programming on the side. Fantastic experience: Empire Fitness in Elmwood Park, NJ offers you everything you need to accomplish your fitness goals. Aside from the excellent coaching, Empire is a top quality facility, with showers, close proximity to transportation into NYC, and an athletes lounge to hang out in after a killer workout among others. More importantly the community of people from ownership to the members are all extremely friendly and love getting after it together.

Fantastic experience: Joining a crossfit gym can be an intimidating experience, especially when you have no knowledge of the sport at all. But everyone at Empire Fitness has made me feel welcome and has been extremely encouraging since day 1!! the owners, and coaches are all wonderful and will take the time to teach the proper techniques, while challenging you to bring the best out of you :) The facilities are very clean, the hours are extremely convenient.

Fantastic experience: Just last week I decided to partake in the Crossfit trend that seems to be sweeping the nation. For the past few years I've been fully committed to Zumba however I wanted to change things up a bit & try to put some muscle on my scrawny arms. I first researched a few Crossfit "boxes" [still not sure where this term came from] in the area & decided to try Empire Fitness/Crossfit Elmwood park as the location & class time worked perfectly with my schedule. Robin & Carol answered all of my questions over the phone & assured me they were looking forward to me dropping in for my first official Crossfit class. As soon as I walked through the door I felt the sense of community, everyone was cheering one another on & encouraging them to do their best. Robin was coaching & carefully explained all the moves to me, I can't wait to be able to do a power clean!!! I had a great workout & can't wait to come back for more!
