Harrison County YMCA

Positive experience: Just had a tour of the facility. The family of four price is $55.25 per month and a $30 joining fee. The exterior is clean but the interior is dated and needs some new floors and equipment. The Nautilis machines seem to be new but many other machines are quite worn. The aerobics floor needs a thorough cleaning and definitely smells bad. The indoor pool is nice but once again it could use some updates as well. The racquetball courts need some renovation as well. The price should be a little less for the facility.

Fantastic experience: Not a member but booked a massage here with Kelly and boy was it totally worth it! She did an excellent job and I came out feeling so much more relaxed and with the tension gone, I’ll definitely be coming back soon! They also have an online scheduling feature which is a bonus to someone like me, including allowing me to fill out all my information ahead of time. No fuss, no muss, book yours now and you’ll be glad you did!

Fantastic experience: Nice little out of the way YMCA on the hill was visiting with my Granddaughter at baby swim class, a must if you have a baby that is near water or your family's a bunch of swimmers already.

Fantastic experience: In some ways I'd argue that the YMCA is better than a national chain gym. The machines and equipment are older but perfectly fine and in good working order. There's a pool, showers, basketball court, massage, yoga, and more. I recommend it to anyone looking for a place to workout and improve their health.

Fantastic experience: I have read some of these reviews and it astounds me how uneducated people are about the YMCA. The YMCA is not privately owned. It is owned by the county government. I think the prices are fair. Especially $55 for a family of four for a month. You should be grateful that there is a YMCA and our county is able to pay what it can to keep it open.
