Fantastic experience: Derek is an attentive instructor and guides the class by the individuals' level of experience. His care for the fellow yogis can be seen during and outside of class. The atmosphere is warm and friendly; you'll be surprised by the class' soothing ambiance.

Derek give's great attention to helping people get to there yoga goals and for a new yoga fan he has made the experience even better for me by helping me learn to listen to my body. Fantastic experience: Derek is not only an amazing Trainer, he is very passioned, good hearted Yoga Teacher. Derek teaches Yoga in a very clear and simple way. He teaches an energetic and emphasizes conscious breathing to inspire, enhance and support the student's focus and attitude, while encouraging physical expression and exploration.

His class has all the right elements - good flow, always reminding us to move with the breath, challenging balancing & strengthening poses, and the perfect ambiance! Fantastic experience: Great instructor who really knows his stuff! I really enjoyed his class and I especially appreciated his patience. The gym is really nice and the yoga room is great. I even got a free mat with the class. If you are in the area or looking for a new place to practice yoga, I would definitely recommend Derek Black yoga.

Fantastic experience: I finally had a chance to take a Yoga class in chino with Derek and it was awesome. I recommend his class to anybody who wants more flexibility and a healthier life.
