Fantastic experience: I have been lifting at NS since I first arrived as a Chico State student in 2016. Their available hours are awesome. Early mornings and late nights. Tons of machines and equipment so you’re not waiting around to get your workout done. The current management is fantastic. The recently updated to all new machines without skipping a beat. Their staff is very friendly and happy to chat. Everyone in the gym is friendly and considerate. No judgement. === To the NSFit Chico team - If I wasn’t moving away from the Chico area, I would be a lifetime member. Thank you for everything

Fantastic experience: 5/5 for MY preferences. I wanted a low key but very affordable gym. I didn’t need anything aesthetically pleasing, I very much recommend a subtle atmosphere to grind. PLENTY of parking, 10/10 times I pull up to an open parking spot. The bathrooms and showers are clean and tidy, they have blow dryers and a sauna, indoor pool for my conditioning in the winter months. The free weight room has everything you need for legs, chest and arms as well as the equipment side. The upstairs is cardio with row machines as well. All in all for someone who gets in to put in work and just needs the basic necessities, NS is 20/10 more than enough and very satisfying. I highly recommend to students who are on a budget or those who just need a focused environment to grind. A bonus is the staff gives you your space and is very excited to receive questions and they make sure you have a full understanding of everything. I’m always greeted with a smile and always asked if I needed anything :)

Fantastic experience: I've been going to NS Fit regularly for a year and a half and during that time I feel like the quality of the equipment and overall vibe have improved substantially. The gym recently acquired several hundred thousand dollars in new equipment and since then newer and better equipment have improved the quality of my workouts. The staff are super friendly and helpful and even the other gym members are friendly and courteous. Definitely impressed!

Fantastic experience: I started a 7 day free Trial at NSFIT-Chico May 16,2022. My experience has been positive and I will be continuing my membership. The gym had a clean males locker room and sauna. The gym includes an house side area with a few tractor tires if you like the cross fit type training. They have a awesome weight room area. This area is good for bodybuilders or powerlifting. Note: I have yet to deadlift at the gym so I’m not 100% sure on how their policy is with heavy deadlifts. Gym was very quiet and organized. If you are new to training do not feel discouraged because everyone was nice and encouraging. The hot tub was working as well.

Fantastic experience: I used to be a member of NS back in 2016 and loved the gym then… little did I know that I come back for a week visiting my family and they’ve renovated everything. The machines are great, free weights are awesome & cardio machines get the job done. I was very impressed with the front desk staff & would recommend this gym over anywhere else in Chico.

Fantastic experience: I have tried out other NS gyms and this one definitely compares to the others. My first impression was that it was very industrial. The weight room lighting and equipment gave the vibe of many club gyms. After I walked around a little I saw there was a lot of equipment and options, from cardio to weightlifting to the basic machines. There are also other features like a pool and sauna so this gym really allows you to do any sort of style workout you prefer!

Fantastic experience: If you’re in the area and you like lowkey gyms with plenty of equipment I’d recommend this spot! Jeannette was the member that was super helpful with me overall I liked the spot!

Fantastic experience: Really enjoyed this gym. First time ever going & the front staff was super helpful & warm. The free weight room is one of a kind taking you back to an Arnold era with a bunch of Hugh quality machines & dumbbell to choose from. The cable section looks newly ungraded which was nice. Overall highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I really like this place, everyone is so nice even the manager she’s awesome, most the machines are easy to figure out, and the the place is mostly clean at least the machinery you use is clean. You don’t feel uncomfortable when you walk in you have nice young people greeting you and it’s just a super cool place to workout in.

Fantastic experience: Just started going here after developing a dad bod from a 10 year exercise hiatus. I am not a person who takes classes, personal training, or uses pools and hot tubs so read a different review for that stuff. I like free weights. It's a great lifting gym. I check in, get my workout done, use the sauna and leave. Everyone seems nice but focused on what they're doing. Everyone reracks. People are cool about letting you work in with them. There is enough equipment that I haven't had to wait. The equipment is new and high quality. The locker room is clean. There are no douchebags. There are no roving gangs of zoomers recording TikToks or streaming to Onlyfans. There aren't weird dudes staring at women. There are no old golfers airdrying their scrotes in the locker room for hours on end. Overall, I love this gym. My only complaint is the televisions are usually on the food channel, so every morning there is a sweet old lady slowly pouring frosting on a fresh cinnamon bun, tempting me to return to the darkside with her devilish treats.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to NS Fit for several years now on and off. Whenever I choose to have a membership in Chico, I choose them. When first moving to Chico 12 years ago, I tried several gyms in the first years, but once I found NS, I was grounded. I like the chill vibe and how quiet it is. Everyone is so friendly and always accommodating to my needs.

I was happy with how it was before, but now it looks so much better! The equipment is organized better according to the muscle groups you wanna hit. Definitely recommend this gym.
