Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of Westerly Fitness for several weeks and I love it. I’m 50+ years old and I’ve never been to a gym in my life until now. I joined for their Fitsmart Challenge and am enjoying the many classes they offer. The staff is friendly, very helpful and offer constant encouragement. I can’t wait to exercise! I look forward to continuing my wellness journey with them.

Fantastic experience: I have never felt more comfortable at a gym. The staff is amazing. This place offers so much and encourages you the whole way. I started coming here right after a cardiac issue and the staff has taken time to help me and modify exercises I am able to do. I used to make excuses to skip the gym. Fantastic experience: Clean, plenty of great equipment, convenient hours, delicious protein powder and bars available to purchase, helpful staff, encouraging coaches, a variety of classes and fitness challenges that work. This gym has got it all!

The owner & trainers truly want all to succeed and have made several accommodations and/or changes in the brief time that I've been attending to try and meet all the needs of their members.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym and love the staff! Staff is friendly, knowledgeful, and always willing to assist with anything you need. The classes that are offered are life changing and easy to sign up for thanks to their mobile app. There are plenty of trainers to get you to the goals that you want to get to, and you can make plenty of friends along the way with the people who are working out beside you. Mike and Ashley have changed me and my wife's lives and I hope they can do the same for you soon.

The gym itself is very clean and has a great selection of equipment. This is a family run gym owned by locals! It feels good to support a small business and not a corporation.

Fantastic experience: Westerly Fitness is a great place to work out!! It is small enough where you have that “fitness family” community feeling, but big enough where you don’t have to stand around waiting for equipment to free up. It also has a large open floor space to do your own thing. I haven’t tried the classes yet but the massage therapist there is awesome! The gym floor and bathrooms are always very clean. Mike and his staff do a great job!

Fantastic experience: I first met Mike way back in 2010, when I started my journey. Back then, owning a gym was kind of joke, well the joke part, was me working for him, which I did, for about 3 years! Not only is he an amazing trainer, he’s a great boss! And now I have the privilege of working with Ashley. I can’t say enough about these 2! These 2 are definitely changing the fitness game for sure! I wouldn’t put my trust in many other people !

Fantastic experience: I've been a member here for years, and that first bit should tell you everything you need to know. Mike has been working hard to continue updating the gym and keeping things fresh. It's even undergoing a huge change as I write this review. Prices are the lowest I've seen, and the atmosphere is always great. I love it here.

Fantastic experience: I couldn't be happier to now be at Westerly Fitness. I used to go to the Y which dropped me because my insurance wasn't going to pay them enough. A lot of the elderly found themselves out in the cold. The Y has come a long way away from their Christian roots. A friend told me about WF and I have a new fitness home! Tai Chi is exceptional n the staff is warm, friendly and really care about their participants. What began as a terrible rejection, turned into a blessing in disguise.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is friendly and inviting, the facilities are clean and very well maintained. Top notch facility with a very supportive atmosphere! The trainers are the best around by far.

Fantastic experience: This place has all kinds of equipment and separate areas to work out. One being the war room for putting on size and strength,another with all kinds of machines for people who dont want to load plates,its an awesome gym all around.

Fantastic experience: My daughter and son-in-law introduced me to this place. They have more experience with gym facilities than me, so when they raved about it, I had to check it out. What I like about it is that it's very relaxed and low key. Everyone on the staff is friendly and helpful, but never salesy or intrusive. A big plus for me is their low pricing for seniors. It's already very affordable, but the senior price is even better. And I can go at uncrowded times, like mid-afternoon. It's locally owned, so there's no big company BS to endure, and you can talk to the owner directly, which is a big plus for me. All in all, definitely 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: The gym is beyond immaculate and has a fantastic selection of equipment. It is also refreshing going to a gym where everyone has proper gym etiquette, as weights are put back where they belong and equipment is wiped down after using. Great job by Mike and his staff!

Fantastic experience: This is a great gym. For the two years that I have been a member the place has been kept Spotlessly clean. great equipment that is promptly repaired on the few occasions there has been a breakdown. There are enough free weights for serious lifters and many different machines that are good for all levels of members. The owner, Mike Volpe, is a nice guy and a hands on owner who is usually is at the gym whenever it is open. Recommend this place to anyone, no matter if you're an experienced weightlifter or someone new who wants to try out a gym for the first time in your life. I have never seen the owner be anything but courteous and respectful to everyone in the gym.

Fantastic experience: A great facility with excellent staffing, classes, equipment. The pricing is very reasonable. This is a true fitness center - they care that members become healthy and strong. Nutritional advice is available. This is not a chain and the owner is very involved and concerned with the needs of the members.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member since the first day they opened 4 years ago this November. Having belonged to other gyms this gym is by far the best gym and I really like the atmosphere. Since Mike took it over the improvements are wonderful. The front staff are very kind and friendly and knowledgeable. I recently signed my 13 y.o. son up and it's great seeing him lifting and spending quality healthy time with him. I like to stick to myself for the most part but have met some very nice people and don't have time for the "Muscle head wannabe's" you see at other gyms not that there aren't people in great shape here but it's less confrontational. I like to express my feelings when I need to and I have noticed two pet peeve's. 1. People using multiple dumbbells laying around there workout area "share" and 2. People not putting things back where they belong for the next person. Only rants other than that extremely happy with what we have. Thanks Mike, and your staff!

Fantastic experience: This is a gym lovers gym. There is something for everyone and the owner is always expanding.very well maintained, always clean and the bathroom/lockerrooms are always clean and stocked. At the end of this upcoming week they are opening up a whole new half and adding even more features. As for the guy who was kicked out. Yeah he had that coming, bad temper and never knows when to let things be. The owner kicked out a a 3 year member for the safety and respect of his other members.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely LOVE this gym!! I have been to other gyms in the past, but this one really has such a great atmosphere and I have seen such GREAT progress that I am soo glad i made the move. I joined over 1 1/2 years ago and it gets better every day! The owner, Mike, and all of his staff are Super Friendly and it is a "judgement free zone." There is a always a smile to greet you at the door and friendly people who come here. There is more than enough cardio equipment, weights and other equipment to get you motivated! The classes are phenomenal and are included in the cost of your membership. There are also emails, give always and other great events to help and to keep you motivated! There is also a fantastic spa on-site with Liz and I have had a few... again, "phenomenal!" I take 3 classes a week and on other days, I work out on my own with a program set up for me by my trainer, Anabelle. I have participated in my first Warrior Dash because of the shape this gym and its trainers and classes got me into!! Nutrition, personal training, group classes and more, you'll find it all here!!
