Fantastic experience: Absolutely love Eat the Frog in Chapel Hill. The workouts are amazing, the fitness space is clean, and the ambiance is like no other. The Chapel Hill location is amazing to UNC students and different organizations within the university. I could not encourage you more to give it a try and the staff is so welcoming and supportive.

Fantastic experience: I was referred by one of my neighbors to try out Eat The Frog. I love the owners and other staff members. They care for the best interest on the client. They work with skill sets of all levels. It had been almost 3 years since I’ve had physical training in the army and Eat the frog is giving me the confidence I never had before. I really recommend this place for everyone.

Fantastic experience: I’ve attended a few workouts at ETF through an organization at UNC. Their workouts are KILLER, but the instructors know how to make it fun through continuous encouragement, recognizing hard work and having great playlists. The workouts include both strength and cardio, which really makes for the best of both worlds. Rob and Haleigh (the owners) make everyone feel like they belong and are obviously passionate about what they do, which makes all the difference. I highly recommend this studio for all ages and all skill levels, because ETF is a home for everyone!
Fantastic experience: This is the first fitness studio I have ever joined, and I couldn't be happier! The staff is awesome and the work outs are challenging. I feel great every time I walk out the doors after a work out.
Fantastic experience: My vehicle was getting broken into in the parking lot. As I was running to attack the criminals, I yelled for help. As I was running toward my vehicle, someone ran right past like they were the Flash. She beat me to my own car and absolutely pummeled the 3 criminals with her bare hands. After thanking her, I asked for her name. She said “My name is Haleigh, it was my pleasure serving you today”. To this day I have never met someone so brave. After my car wouldn't start, Rob offered me his AH-64 Apache helicopter to borrow so I could get home! Amazing customer service! 10/10 would recommend this fitness center!!!
Fantastic experience: This gym is amazing! Everybody is so friendly and helpful. Coming here really helps with my motivation and makes me want to come workout. Plus all the fun activities we do like wine and paint, and trivia night! Highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: I felt a significant difference after the first 3 sessions. These guys are the whole package: small group training with a qualified coach, great cueing and encouragement, spotting for good form, demo each move. Three types of sessions: cardio, strength and agility. Open 24/7 with a combo of live onsite classes and virtual classes. You get high intensity, interval training, free weights, spin bike, rowing machine, TRX, mat work, and even coached cool down periods which are very important a workout. And if you find a move too challenging, they will find a modification for that move! Just love 'em!!

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Eat the Frog for about four weeks now and have to say that it is great!! I struggle with motivation to exercise consistently and this gym is very affordable for what I get when I go - which is coached classes with a group. It's basically like having a personal trainer, but at a much more affordable cost. The coaches are great! They are super motivating and helpful at modifying exercises when I need it. (They also do this without making me feel less than for not being able to do the move!) I highly recommend this gym if you're looking for something new - at least try it out, I was very impressed with my first class and the options available to join! I'm really hoping this will be the life-changer that I'm looking for to help me maintain a healthier, more active lifestyle! I appreciate all of the motivation, responsiveness, and encouragement from all of the staff I've interacted with!
Fantastic experience: I have fallen in love with this place. The people there are beyond friendly, want to genuinely get to know you and honestly care for you. The coaches take time to show you how to properly workout and then take care of your body after to get the most out of what you do.

Fantastic experience: We are a workout group at UNC called CHAARG whose mission is to change the mentality that girls have about fitness -- we want to liberate girls from the elliptical + show them that fitness can + SHOULD be fun. We have worked with Eat the Frog for a few years now and WE LOVE THEM. They are so motivational, energetic, passionate, and push us to do our best every time we go. They’re so accommodating and are enthusiastic about helping people on their health journey. Highly recommend!

I’ve been a member of orange theory and other boot camps in the area… I like the boot camp, instructors, and environment at Eat the Frog the most! I’ve seen more physicals results from 1 year attending Eat the Frog vs Orange Theory.
Fantastic experience: An amazing gym and suitable for all fitness levels. The co-owner, Darrick, took the time to show me around the gym and explained how all of their equipment worked. The trainers take the time to get to know you and push you wherever you're at in your fitness journey. I would definitely recommend this gym!
Fantastic experience: I love this place! When I started I had no strength and now I can hold a plank for 1 minute and a half compared to a few seconds at the beginning. The coaches are awesome! They are extremely encouraging and guide you to get the correct form.

Coaches are great and super helpful if you need help mastering techniques or any kind of movement modifications. Co-owner Rob is very motivating and has beautiful eyes

Fantastic experience: I am finishing my first month at Eat The Frog with extreme gratitude for my new gym. I love everything about it, the workouts, the instructions, the technology, and the other members of the gym. I can already feel my body shifting. After crossfit was a little rough of my 51 year old body, I was looking for something similar but not so insane. ETF is the best of that. I walked in totally out of shape and now on the healthy road to fitness.

Fantastic experience: I’m never going back to CrossFit or orange theory. I really love the variety of movements and the small class sizes here at the Chapel Hill location. Also I’m a big fan of the on-site virtual work outs. Knowing I can come in at 9 PM or even 11pm and get my fitness on, makes me feel like I’m getting a great deal for my money.
Fantastic experience: I wasn't sure I could handle the intensity of these workouts as a 50-something, non-athlete, but there is plenty of support and enthusiasm from the coaches. The heart rate monitors help you track your progress and you get good instruction on how to do the exercises and use the weights safely. I'm on week 8 and the programs stay fresh and engaging!
Fantastic experience: Wonderful coaches, great full body workouts, positive/ encouraging community, and very clean. The workouts are always different and challenging for all levels of fitness and I have definitely gotten noticeably stronger/ faster in just three weeks! The coaches are very supportive and push you to grow while also making sure you are maintaining proper technique. I honestly only have great things to say about ETF and I am very grateful that I discovered this gem of a place!
Fantastic experience: The staff is very friendly! And enthusiastic! The instructors motivate you even when you don’t want to be. They will help you with an exercise you are not doing properly. Or demonstrate another way to do the exercise. All in all the staff have been great! Pushing you to be better!!
Fantastic experience: The coaches are incredibly encouraging, and they continuously push you to get better with every visit. I feel at home when I come in, and l like I was part of one big fitness family. Even the members encourage each other during workouts, and sometimes there’s some friendly competition with each other, but it’s all in good sport. This is a great place to relieve yourself from stress and improve your physical health.

Fantastic experience: I had a great time with amazing coaches and cool technology to guide me! I was initially nervous about the intensity of the workout not knowing what to expect. However, the coaches demonstrated how to use the equipment properly and gave my class different options for our current fitness level with modified exercises. Their high energy and good music made me push myself more than I have in a while and safely! I felt great and would definitely come back!
Fantastic experience: Eat the Frog Fitness in Chapel Hill is just what I need. We are typically in group classes with an instructor that would motivate us as a group or individually if seen struggling. The coaches are very experienced and offer great advice in and outside of the gym. It is a very clean environment and nothing is lacking. I would highly recommend Eat the Frog Fitness to any beginner, intermediate, or advanced level athlete out there. It is what you make it!
Fantastic experience: One of the best workouts I've ever had. For the past 4 years I have been working out on my own. I started with body weights and I progressed to working out on my own in a gym. I found over the years that I didn't have the personal drive to research different workouts and target difficult parts of my body such as my core and my legs. Around the time that I decided to change this ETF was beginning construction and I figured...Why not?! I joined and the trainers were outstanding and kind during this tough time. The frogpod heart monitor is a game changer which I imagine is similar to OTF's setup; however, ETF is much more cost effective. They have even installed a new air filtration system and UV lights to accommodate us during these tough times. Keep up the good work and thank you for being kind and professional during these difficult times.

Fantastic experience: I love this place! I started at Eat The Frog a few months ago after not exercising regularly for a couple of years. Just in that short amount of time I've noticed a major improvements in my physique, my flexibility, and my overall energy level during the day. Their workouts are structured in a way that they're appropriate for any fitness level and you'll get a personalized 8-week workout plan that you can follow to help you meet your individual goals. As trainers Claire and Dave always say, "You get out what you put in." and that holds especially true here. If it's been a while, you're thinking about getting back in shape and aren't sure where to start, the classes at Eat The Frog take all of the uncertainty out of your workout. Just show up, follow along with the trainer, listen to great music, and get a little sweat going. If you're already in great shape, this is a perfect place to challenge yourself and find some healthy competition (for that I recommend the 6 AM class, they go hard!). The owners Rob and Darrick are always available and incredibly helpful, and together with the trainers they've cultivated a diverse and supportive community of people who are always pushing to be better than they are now. If you're even CONSIDERING starting at a gym, ANY GYM, just come Eat The Frog once and you'll be hooked.
Fantastic experience: By far, this gym is best part of my fitness journey. Coaches are supportive and push you through the workout. 55 minutes three times a week is an easy commitment to keep. The apps to keep accountability & track of your results over time keep me motivated. Highly recommend especially for anyone nervous about starting to workout after a hiatus.
