Fantastic experience: Best gym ever. Clean, great staff, motivational members.

Fantastic experience: I always wanted to do a contact sport. I also wanted to join a REAL gym. In today's time, many things feel like a gimmick--just for show. But this place...is not that. Luyando is real. Family feeling, too. You can feel the vibe that this is not your normal gym with weights and treadmills. You can feel that the punching bags and the ring are not there for show. If you are seriously wanting to take your skills learned and used them for competition, then it is possible. And no, you can't just compete. You earn it. Which is exactly what you want, right? That good feeling that you worked hard and earned this new you, right? Plus side, if you stay at it, it is the best way to lose weight, learn to defend yourself, and have fun doing it...of....course you will be breathing extremely hard; possibly puke on your first day; possibly say to yourself that your 1-2 punches are weak; and realize how much you let yourself go on delicious cake and brownies. But those realization will be jokes and you will say things like, "I remember my first class...," as you progress at this gym. lol!

Fantastic experience: I would give 10 stars if I could. Great facility, great coach, great fighters, and great community. I’m new to the U.S. and never did any combat sports before, but I’m absolutely enjoying the experience! Anybody who is interested in boxing or working out in general will love the place.

Fantastic experience: Came here for two years. Fantastic boxing gym run by great people. Moved to Chicago but this is one of the places I'll dearly miss in Champaign. Come here and get a great work out and learn to box at your own pace.

Fantastic experience: This gym is awesome. It's a legit boxing gym but also is in a nice facility and has a great mix of seasoned and new boxers. I really appreciate how skilled all the trainers are - they not only give you a great workout but can improve your form. The people here are all super friendly!

Fantastic experience: Was looking for a replacement for ARC at the beginning of the year and I am very glad that I found this place. Staff is really friendly and I find the equipment to be comprehensive, especially for lifting and boxing. I really enjoy it here.

Fantastic experience: I cannot think of an adjective powerful enough to express how phenomenal the people are, how exceptional the talent is, or how knowledgeable and outstanding the coaches are. No one will ever make you feel inadequate and no one will ever mock you for being new or unskilled. You will be working side-by-side with professionals, amateurs, national champions, and people just looking to get a good sweat. This will be the best work you have received from any gym, ever. Come in and check it out, I guarantee you're greeted with a hearty hello and a wonderful smile. Come for the work, stay for the people.

Fantastic experience: An amazing gym and coach. Don't be intimidated and just come for a session and try it. It's a mixture of boxers that compete and people that are just there to exercise (as a group). Most people that go say they wish they had found it earlier. It's a place and experience you usually only see in larger citys - so a true Champaing Urbana gem. It's a melting pot of people from all backgrounds and ages and all are welcome. Having gone for a few years, Im proud to say it's my other family. Unless you compete, you generally work in a group. It will push your limits! If you've been boxing for ten years or if it will be your first day, everyone is treated the same.

Fantastic experience: By far one of the best workouts I have ever received. It didn't take long for this place to become family. I can't stress enough the amount of knowledge the Luyando family has about boxing and the love they put into this sport. If you are looking for a place to grow in your fitness level, they have a way of making everyone feel welcomed. I never once felt judged and everyone has only offered support. The only thing you will ever regret is not showing up sooner!
