Fantastic experience: I love my gym. They have a great two month orientation program that really got me into using the gym regularly. The gym is clean and the classes are great. It is more expensive than Golds, but I think you pay for what you get. So if it is in your budget, you should totally check it out.

Fantastic experience: The people and gym were wonderful. The pool was great for my PT therapy but need a PT therapist in the pool for some of the ones who have more problems swimming. One lady tipped face forward and her daughter had trouble righting her, so I helped her. Other then thst it was a great experience! Can't wait to go back..

Fantastic experience: Besides ACAC being a great gym, they have been an incredible community support. Our power is out, and many of us have been working from here most of the day. Everyone is so helpful and welcoming. I really don't know what we would do without this great team and the community they have built. Nice job, ACAC!

Fantastic experience: Carter White in Physical Therapy helped me with a painful calf muscle problem. I’m a swimmer and couldn’t swim 25 yards without cramping. He gave me some intense exercises and treated me with direct muscle massage for 2 weeks and I was improved enough to swim and do any other activities without discomfort or pain. I’ll continue to do the exercises. He’s a master of his profession and I strongly recommend him at ACAC Physical Therapy.

Fantastic experience: I have been a long time member of ACAC. They have consistently, through the years, provided a much needed service in our community. I appreciate their efforts to provide exercise and nutrition options to all age groups and interest areas. They have also worked hard, during COVID, to provide a safe way to exercise both in person and on line. I mainly visit the ACAC Albemarle Square, but it is nice to have options. PT at ACAC at Albemarle Square was super helpful getting me back up and running after knee surgery.

Fantastic experience: ACAC is an exceptional facility! There are so many options and so much value is provided from the family membership. We love the varied locations, the varied equipment, exercise options, the pools, childcare, etc etc etc. The staff are always so welcoming and friendly! We really feel like we're a part of the ACAC family and the services it provides us...from ages 4 to 42!

They have some of the nicest staff and they really care about their members safety (especially during COVID-19) The cafe is stocked with delicious food(s)/drink(s) and the endless machines and basketball courts are amazing. The locker-rooms are extremely nice and the staff super friendly. It's very nice to see a business who cares more about its members than anything else.

There is always plenty of equipment available and all of the equipment is kept extremely clean! The staff at ACAC are exceptionally friendly and professional! Fantastic experience: Great staff at all levels from the front desk to housekeeping to the trainers. Everyone is polite, knowledgeable, and willing to assist if you have a question or issue. The facility is clean and extremely well maintained with ample space on the exercise floors and in the locker rooms. The equipment is in great condition and there is enough of it, and enough variety, that wait times for any particular piece are limited. There is also a great amount of space on the exercise floors.

They rewarded me back to good health .and I loved the great trainers..and the front office staff for our rehab section. They always made feel wonderful . Fantastic experience: A clean well staffed the facility with a wide selection of both cardio and strength building machines. Both the front desk staff and the sales staff very competent and welcoming .The administrative staff and the trainers are also great. It is an expensive facility including pools hot tub‘s saunas steam rooms and massage therapist.. A group of us just wish that they were open later hours especially on Sunday

Fantastic experience: Great staff and wonderful facility. My only " complaint" would be that I wish they had memberships for the pool only. Their monthly fee is a bit steep for me especially since I have extremely limited mobility. I would be paying for services I am not able to use. I have asked about a pool only membership and there's no such thing. I have also asked if I can be added to my son's family plan but that's not an option either. As a senior it would be amazing if they had a plan I could afford. Otherwise it's a great facility and the staff is super friendly and engaging. Amazing for families, great daycare and always clean.

Fantastic experience: The bathroom restoration turned out beautifully, with more showers, more lockers, ceiling fans, more sinks, and a clean feeling. The trainers are friendly and pretty attuned to one's exercise techniques. The pool offers an excellent work out with classes, and specialty exercises for those getting back into exercising in general. Getting used to the cost is something to understand as an investment in yourself. Family rates offer the best deal. For injury management, the PT shop adjoining the club will get you back on track quickly. Put this place into your lifestyle for a good "body" investment. Enjoy!

Fantastic experience: Downtown ACAC TAMge best, stFf very helpful friendly, classes exceptional. Went to albamarle location not near as good. Pantops, very small. Downtown cafe, so good, smoothies the best, quaint, love the fireplace sitting area and more comfortable than Starbucks... Roof lounge, wow, view of city, meditation heaven, zero stress. The pool is outstanding, classes there really beneficial.... A complete Gym...

Fantastic experience: I have been a member for years and have gone through many stages...weights and personal training, cardio classes, times where I preferred to exercise on my own. I have tried Tai Chi and am now doing aquatics. I LOVE how there are all ages and all levels of fitness here. The desk people are very welcoming and friendly and their hours are convenient for all lifestyles.

Fantastic experience: This is my happy place. From the moment I walk into the (beautiful!) lobby, I am greeted by the friendliest employees and welcomed as a familiar face. I love the new cafe and social space! Often I will grab a smoothie and read by the fireplace after my workout. The new cycle studio is also awesome - I had never tried cycle before and was super intimidated, but now I'm a regular. :)

Fantastic experience: What’s amazing about ACAC is how well they stay consistent with a clean friendly space, great staff, and well maintained equipment. There’s tons of classes and the newly remodeled Kid Zone is awesome. Though it’s one the most expensive gyms in town, it’s more than a place to “work out”. Very family friendly.

Fantastic experience: Love it here. I go for prep class. Fantastic friendly trainers. Helping physical fitness training. Warm water pool. They have any and everything you'd need in a gym and spa. Yoga. Step classes. All of it.

Fantastic experience: I really like being a member of this gym. It is always clean and the equipment is always in good order. The staff is friendly and helpful. They pay attention to detail, like having mouthwash in the locker rooms. They really have everything I need. It may seem a bit pricey but to me this place is worth it.

Fantastic experience: Love the renovations they recently made to this club. The lobby and new cafe are SPARKLING! Can't beat the family atmosphere here, and I love how many different types of people you can see on any given day. Really a place that feels like family.

Fantastic experience: I just keep renewing my membership here. Year after year! This is the cleanest gym I've ever joined. Friendly, helpful staff. Has state of the ark equipment and a classes available you are sure to want to join. My personal trainer, Pam Finney, has been amazing to work with and is helping me meet the goals I have set.

Staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable - great choice for all of your (and your family's) fitness and wellness needs!

Fantastic experience: This is a fantastic gym. so glad my family and I are members here. We LOVE the kids zone. Great for the kids to be around other kids. The cardio area is well maintained, and almost always clean. The equipment is up to date and almost never faulty. The weights area is good and so is the floor. I have not taken many classes but the ones I have taken have been great. Expensive, but worth it

I stayed for a week and would call this the equinox of the south (but half the cost). keep in shape while on vacation! and enjoy doing it. also they employ some of the best staff ive seen - shout out to the military staff

Fantastic experience: Recent renovations have spruced up an excellent health club, with all the equipment and classes anyone could want. Broad array of personal trainers. And, excellent Physical Therapy facility with highly skilled therapists.
