Mountain West Gymnastics Academy

Fantastic experience: My daughter is in both the gymnastics program as well as the dance academy and they are fantastic! We haven't tried any other gymnastics programs, but we have tried other dance programs. At MWGA and MWDA, the instructors show so much interest in their success and are so encouraging. They really help build their self-esteem in order to bring out the best in their students. As a parent, I also love that for performances are broken up by groups so I don't have to sit through several hours of performances just to watch my daughter (who is in the younger age groups) do a 2 minute performance.

Fantastic experience: I have two daughters taking at MWGA currently. They’ve been there for one year now, and they couldn’t love it more. The coaches are fantastic with the kids, they’ve learned so much in just their first years of gymnastics. The staff is always nice to answer all of my questions or fix any issues that might arise (only one thus far). Scheduling has always been so great too, they work hard to find classes at the same time for my girls so I’m not driving there multiple times a week which makes a HUGE difference. I see us being with MWGA for many years to come.

The coaches are kind, good at their jobs, and they make a difference in the lives of those they teach. Fantastic experience: My daughters have taken Gymnastics here collectively for 3+ years and we love it! Crystal is excellent. Down to earth, easy to talk to, but always professional. Our experience through COVID has been better than we expected. Re-opening the gym must’ve been a lot of work, but everything always feels clean and sanitized. The coaches are organized and consistent & fun. The area for where parents can watch isn’t as big as I wish it were, especially because of social distancing, but the security cameras rotate between the three rooms that are not visible within the rest of the big gym. I feel safe with my daughter here.

Fantastic experience: My 4 year old goes to Mountain West and she absolutely LOVES it!! The coaches are great and classes are small for the littles so they seem to learn and get the attention they need!! Such a fun place to get kids moving and learning!

Fantastic experience: My kids have loved mountain west gymnastics. They have so much fun and their coaches are wonderful. The office staff knows my kids and have been so much help in getting them into their classes and working with our busy schedules. We have three kids in classes and all three love their coaches and are learning so much and gaining so much confidence!

They are so patient with these kids and it they make teaching the movements look play. I've been seeing progress with my 4 year old with her coordination and precision in movements too.

Fantastic experience: My daughter just began her gymnastics journey, no one in our family has ever done gymnastics before so we were unsure of what we were getting into ... but, MWGA was the luckiest google search we have ever had!! The coaches are incredible, hard working, and sweet! MWGA has been kind and patient with us as we figure out what is best for our kiddo; and have helped us have a greater understanding of the gymnastics world!! My very shy daughter asks every day if it’s gymnastics day because they have welcomed her in and empowered her to know that she can move mountains when she puts her mind to it!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love Mountain West gymnastics in bountiful ! My kids took the toddler classes( ages 3+ 4 ) for a few months and the only reason we stopped going is because we are moving. The staff is super friendly and you can tell that their students grow every year with age in difficulty. Their students are super advanced and it’s because they take time to learn all of the proper basics to build a solid foundation first ! Prices are affordable ! such a wonderful place to master the art of gymnastics !

Fantastic experience: We have really liked Mountain west. We are doing their tumbling preschool and ninja class and so far our three kids involved have all loved it. I do feel like it’s maybe a little on the pricey end but they’ve been great as far as management goes, communication, and great teachers.

Fantastic experience: My 3 year old has been taking classes here since August and she has loved it! They do such a great job with this age group. It’s just a fun outlet for their energy while teaching them to follow instruction and basic gymnastic techniques.

Fantastic experience: We love MWGA! The coaches have been so positive with my girls. My girls look forward to going and we've seen good improvement and consistency over the last year. They also set expectations that are communicated clearly. The front office staff has been helpful in getting my girls in the right classes and times that work well for us. They have a variety of classes for all skill levels. I would recommend this gym to anyone who is looking for a gym with excellent coaching and good communication.

The communication could be better, but even that has improved recently. As long as my daughter loves it here, we love it!

Fantastic experience: Mountain West Gymnastics is a GREAT place for your kids to learn the basic fundamentals all the way to advanced fundamentals in gymnastics/tumbling. They have an incredible staff who will help your kids not only master the techniques but also to believe in themselves. I would recommend Mountain West Gymnastics to everyone, my 2.5 year old loves going to his “mommy & me” class where he can jump in blocks, climb a ladder, swing on bars, walk on balance beam, etc etc. it is a great time to bond with your child and watch them grow and do things that they couldn’t do a month ago. Fantastic experience: The first time I went here for my 3 year daughter she absolutely loved it and looks forward to going every week! She has learned a lot of skills from her coaches. The front desk and the coaches are super nice and welcoming, the gym is always clean. Fantastic experience: Both of my children have enjoyed taking gymnastics classes at MWG. I love their clean facilities and how friendly and professional the staff and coaches are. The Winter Showcase is so fun and darling! The parent-toddler class is fun for little walkers to get their toes wet in the gymnastics world and break up your afternoons! I highly recommend them for teaching your kiddos great skills like: balance, coordination, confidence and corporation.

Fantastic experience: We have loved Mountain West Gymnastics Academy! They have helped my youngest the past two years build confidence in a sport she loves! They have been great to work with and have had amazing communication through email, text and even apps that help make sure we have all the information. The staff are amazing, and have been great with making sure it’s a safe environment for myself and my daughter. My daughter always looks forward to going to class. Fantastic experience: I have a 2 girls and 1 boy signed up for classes at Mountain West Gymnastics Academy and they’ve all enjoyed their experiences there. I love how they all can go to their different age/level classes at the same time. The gym has several rooms with different equipment that keeps the kids engaged and gives them a variety of skills to practice. So far I am very pleased with Mountain West Gymnastics Academy.

They navigated COVID well and have kept the kids’ safety at the forefront while still making it possible for them to be in the gym.

Fantastic experience: My daughter is on the XCEL Competitive Team, and I am very happy with the top notch instruction, choreography and organization. She has developed skills, strength, confidence and great friends on this team and absolutely loves MWGA. Meets are so exciting for the gymnast, and for parents to watch! The owner Crystal is always a call or text away for my questions or concerns, along with the Team Manager Jenny. The newly renovated facility is amazing! If your daughter wants to get more serious in the sport, I recommend joining the MWGA team!

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been at this gym since the parent and tot class together. It’s since been about 2 years and we still love it. The staff is great and is quick to address any questions or concerns you may have. There’s a parent viewing area that overlooks the gym and areas that are not well seen are visible on a tv screen in the parent viewing balcony.

Fantastic experience: My 4 year old wanted to try gymnastics this year. I searched around and read review and decided to try mountain west gymnastics. We have only been a few times, but so far it has been an awesome experience. My Kiddo loves going to class and counts down the days until the next one. The facility is clean and well taken care of. The staff is awesome, friendly and you can tell they take pride in what they do and where they work. They also do a great job working with the groups that consist of newbies and more experienced kids and making sure everyone gets the help they need.

Fantastic experience: We’ve enjoyed our time at MWGA! But I’ll say what I appreciate the most are the staff and teachers. My daughter is kinda hard to warm up and can be stubborn. And the teachers are SO patient- I really love that. She is learning the skills, although not as fast as I thought she would. But I think that’s on her, not them. I’ll send my son to the Ninja Class when he turns 4. Otherwise this has been a great fit for our daughter!

Fantastic experience: Our grand daughter started going to Mountain West about a month ago. We were referred there by someone and what a great referral it was. These guys are great. It’s clean, professional, skilled teachers and they stay very close to us. Even with this COVID thing going on, they stay in contact with us all the time. Emails, texts and phone calls. Very affordable for the quality of service you get. I would recommend them to any and all. Thank you for all you do. Thank you for treating my little grand daughter like family.

Fantastic experience: We have been at MWG for several months now and are truly so so impressed! They are so organized and keep the kids on track and focused:) My daughter is 3, and I can already see a huge improvement in her skills:) Each week the class has a theme and circuit to keep the kids entertained and on task. Truly I cannot say enough amazing things about this gym!

Fantastic experience: Our daughter Tehya has been attending at Mountain West Gymnastics Academy for almost 2 full years and we still love it!! She's almost 5 now and every time we drive by the facility Tehya yells "look, there's MY gymnastics"! It's been so great to see her get so excited about it and want to continue to go. We've loved the attention and care she gets each week from each coach she's been assigned, but she loves it so much she has even learned who a lot of the other coaches are too. Tehya loves it so much her brother Jaxon recently decided to join the Mountain West ninja in training crew. It works great for us since we save more money by having him enrolled too and the front desk staff were able to help us coordinate their schedules too. I feel great about letting Jaxon and Tehya go to the gym even during the covid-19 pandemic since the owners have set an amazing and consistent cleaning schedule in place with there entire team as well as the protocol they have created in dropping off/picking up our kids. There is a staff member at all doors to take all the kids temperatures and ask about any possible covid symptoms once they do that they are all required to either wash hands or sanitize before they can meet with their coaches. We love that the coaches are knowledgeable and patient with our kids. We also love the communication we receive from MWGA via email/text with any updates that are applicable to us. We look forward to a long lasting relationship with MWGA and would highly recommend them to anyone considering enrolling their kids in either the ninja or gymnastics programs that are offered!!

Fantastic experience: Mountain West Gymnastics is absolutely fantastic and AWESOME! After my friend's son had an awful first experience with gymnastics at another facility, they have worked with my friend to ensure his son's experience at the other facility would not leave a lasting impression. They have worked with my friend regarding his son's medical condition and even let my friend stay through lessons during the first Covid conditions. My friend's son recently had to undergo emergency surgery and they have been EXTREMELY helpful and understanding, being flexible with dates, and not charging during his son's recovery time. They are Mr. Miyagi to the other place's cobra kai!!

Fantastic experience: We Love Tumble Jungle Preschool at Mountain West Gymnastics Academy. Miss Shellie is an amazing teacher - very helpful and responsive in making sure each student's needs are met. There is a focus on hands-on learning and play- so much better than a bunch of worksheets! The only downside I see is this is one of the more expensive places for preschool in the area, so I wish the price was lower.

Fantastic experience: I could not say enough great things about mountain west gymnastics! Their entire facility is so clean and well-maintained. Whoever runs it has done an incredible job of making the atmosphere so fun and welcoming! My son does their ninja classes, which he is absolutely in love with, and every coach is so knowledgeable, fun and patient. My daughter does their kinder gymnastics classes and she also loves her coaches and classes! I had a family member recommend them to me and I highly recommend them to everyone I know!

Fantastic experience: My daughter started at MWGA when she was 1. She is now approaching 5 years old. Throughout this time she has loved everyone of her classes and coaches. The staff are very accommodating and responsive to anything you may need. They are continually working hard to help my daughter advance her skills, have fun, and love gymnastics!

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome!!! They have so many classes that cater to every level. The teachers are so professional, they take their time with each child and learning a new skill. I love the preschool program too, and my 5 year old was more than ready for kindergarten. They have areas for the parents to watch and just an amazing set up all together!

Fantastic experience: I've been meaning to give this review for awhile. My son attended preschool with Shellie for the 2019-2020 school year. It definitely didn't end how we all would have hoped, but that's alright. He had the best time! He still talks about it months later about how much he misses his teacher and friends from school. He loved the gymnastics incorporated into the schooling. It was a perfect fit for us. I recommend this preschool to all my friends and family.

Fantastic experience: We have been talking my son to Mountain West Gymnastics for about seven months now. They have been amazing to work with in which classes to get my son signed up for, and always looking out for different classes that would fit his adventurous personality. Communication has been amazing every time I call. Whenever we miss a session they are checking to make sure Dimitri is okay, and working with us to get a makeup class scheduled. This has been an amazing experience for my son, and he looks forward to going to class each week!!

Fantastic experience: They are a fantastic company we have been with them since preschool in their Tumble Jungle and my daughter loved it so much we continued with gymnastics. They saw potential in my daughter so they talked with us to move her up a level. They respond so quickly to emails and have very friendly desk. My daughter is always so excited to go to gymnastics and loves her coaches.

Fantastic experience: Mountain west has been our best gym we've tried. Our other gyms have had no structure and were just a glorified day care. The other problem we've had is gyms not getting down the basics. That the the kids are constantly getting hurt because they are trying things they aren't ready for. But with Mountain West I know the kids are having well structured lessons. And are perfecting skills in a safe progression.
