Fantastic experience: I love working out here! Brooke is a great trainer and Alex at the door is always welcoming and friendly. The bathrooms are very nice and clean and everyone does a great job of cleaning what they touch.

Fantastic experience: Balance fitness has been super welcoming! I just recently moved to the area, and finding a gym that suits my needs hasn’t been to easy until I stumbled into Balance Fitness! The staff is super friendly, the equipment is top of the line, and the environment feels like home! I recommend if you’re in the castle rock area to check it out! You won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Locally-owned, has platforms & bumpers, racks, DBs up to 120, Concept 2 rowers, KBs, med balls, ropes, etc. Everything you need to run a solid Strength & Conditioning program. Would like to see some better power racks, but still can't complain. Locker room and showers are clean, machines are in good repair, staff is friendly. Good to go.

Fantastic experience: Found this little gem of a gym last year when Covid hit. It has been a great place to destress from everything that is going on, while improving my physical (as well as mental) health. Membership fee is very reasonable and the have a great selection of equipment. Staff and members are very supportive and personable - I haven't found many gyms where everyone knows each other by name! The owners are also very involved and make you feel like family. They just added kickboxing classes a few months ago, which are a fantastic workout! I would highly recommend this gym if you are looking for a great workout without all the extra glam

Fantastic experience: As far as I’m concerned, there is only one gym in Castle Rock and this is it. New ownership is fantastic (every negative review here is pre-transition) and the gym is always updating their equipment and responding to its members. Keep an eye on these guys; they are a true, local turnaround story. Accommodations are clean and I swear only the most human of folks in our community are members here. This isn’t one of those meat lockers that attracts those you hate to share a gym with. In the last year, I have personally gotten to know six people who walked in the door having never really committed to exercise as a means to get healthy who are now in fantastic shape because they found a family (owners and other members) who genuinely care about them and their experience. I’m one of those folks. If you’re uncomfortable about joining a gym; this is the one for you. If you are looking for a highly marketed, over-programmed, impersonal experience where the color of the towels match the equipment... there are plenty of gyms to choose from. If you want to join a diverse group of men and women who link arms on their journey to health; welcome home!

Fantastic experience: Been going to balance for a long time and under new ownership it is better than ever. Absolutely ran like a dream. Clean as can be, machines are all in great shape. Lots of options as well so from amateur to veteran you can get a great session in. It's truly the best gym I've ever been a part of and I've been apart of quite a few. Can't recommend enough

Fantastic experience: My wife and I went to drop-in at this gym in Castle Rock after not having our gyms in Colorado Springs reopen since COVID-19. We both spoke with the woman on the phone the day before we traveled north to Castle Rock and she explained everything very nicely. When we arrived she explained the procedures and was very nice and personable. The gym itself is nice and cozy. It has everything you want and is very clean and everyone of their members are wiping down the equipment as well. This is a fantastic gym that I would highly recommend in Castle Rock. If I lived in Castle Rock, this would be my gym.

Fantastic experience: Anyone in Castle Rock looking for a gym, go to Balance Fitness by the Laundromat and McDonalds. New owners, renovations, great atmosphere and equipment, AND one of the owners, Chris, owns a couple of Max Muscle stores and is putting one right in the gym! I signed up with Narvel (another owner) and he was professional and courteous. AND THEY'RE OPEN 24 HOURS!!! Which is great for me because I love my morning workouts. Les gooooo.

For all those previous member who left because of him, come back.The new owners are awesome. It's still a good place to work out and not over crowded.

Fantastic experience: Best gym in Castle Rock. This gym has it all including a very friendly and helpfull staff. It has plenty of free weights including dumbbells up 130lbs which was very important to me. It also has all the cardio machines you would ever want including a Peloton.

Fantastic experience: Clean gym, open 24 hours and affordable for the family. Not too many extras like sauna, pool or sports court but it's cheaper than the big guys.

Fantastic experience: Recently moved to Castle Rock. Cancelled my membership at 24 hr because I’m not paying additional upfront membership fees to use a “sport” location. I actually found Balance Fitness based on a recommendation from one of the front desk ladies at Planet Fitness because it’s where she goes to “lift real weight.” I found that entertaining. The gym is a modest size but has every machine and free weight I need. Love the squat rack location. The premises is kept clean and neat at all times. You can actually take a shower here without wanting to soak your feet in bleach which is refreshing. I don’t understand the folks who are terrified of “meat heads.” Just stay home if you’re scared. This is a small gym and most people tend to smile and say something friendly if you happen to exchange glances. I’ve had zero negative experience at Balance Fitness and I’m happy to support a successful privately owned business. Thank you for being my place of meditation and progress, Balance Fitness!

Fantastic experience: I've investigated every gym in Castle Rock over the years. Balance Fitness is where I call home. Its your "local neighborhood" place to feel comfortable with all the equipment you could possibly need. Seems like everyone knows everyone else if you want to socialize for a while or just get down to business and work out. The great thing is you can let yourself in any time of day or night which is perfect for those with a busy schedule. Always clean and tidy with a nice constant temperature. You just can't go wrong here!

Fantastic experience: I have been a regular member of Balance Fitness since 2010. Balance Fitness has everything I need to stay active. I mostly enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and the great group of regular members. I feel no pressure or need to prove anything to anyone at the gym. I love the diversity of members, and I am energize and motivated to exercise while never feeling self-conscious about how I choose to exercise. I also like that I can get advice from experts about fitness and equipment without be hounded or pushed. The relaxed, diverse environment at Balance fitness works perfectly for me, and I can confidently reach my fitness goals each time I go.

Fantastic experience: I like Balance Fitness. Always people working out but not crowded. Friendly, Clean and has a towel service. Plenty of equipment. Unlike other places,the music isn’t so loud that you can’t use your own headphones. Also, Stu their trainer is great.

If you’re looking for a place that isn’t packed with wanna-be gym goers or the plastisized female looking for attention, this place is the spot. Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of this gym for almost three years and go several times per week early in the morning. At 4:15am, there are generally a few people there, who all seem friendly and courteous. The regulars pile in about six, just when I’m finishing up. I like the lack of pretentiousness here; probably my favorite thing about this gym is how nobody is roid-raging and staring you down. They have spent some money lately doing upkeep and buying new equipment which has been reassuring. With the new 24-hr Fitness place opening up by the Promenade I thought BF might have a tough time staying open. Good to see the owners have enough vision and business acumen to expand their offerings. It’s really well done. They have put in a Peloton bike which is way cool, as well as a whole new space for the squat rack and k-bells. This gym has a huge free weights area with high quality equipment. There are dozens of machines of all shapes and configurations, pull-up stations integrated into at least four different spots around the gym, and plenty of equipment to go around. They have a large space dedicated to cardio equipment as well, with a bunch of treadmills, ellipticals of various types, spin bikes, rowing machine, and seven or eight TVs. They have good solid WiFi, a great water fountain, ample parking, and well equipped locker rooms with showers. What more do you want for thirty bucks a month?! Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: We have been coming here for almost 10 years. There is a good variety of cardio equipment and weight training machines. It is not overly crowded and most members are friendly. The cost is very reasonable. Personal training is available if you want it.

Fantastic experience: Whether you have never stepped foot in a gym or you are a veteran gym rat, this gym is for you. It has all the equipment necessary for a complete workout without the dreaded wait. The atmosphere is friendly, non-cliquey, non-judgemental where you can feel free to put your insecurities aside. The cleanliness is top notch to include lockerroom and showers. Its so convenient that you can easily pop in and out. I have been to Lifetime, 24 hr Fitness, Golds, and many rec centets, but this gym has my heart. Two thumbs us.

Fantastic experience: I work out here when I'm in town to see family. It's actually a great gym. Very clean with showers available. People here are generally serious about training.
