The Monon Community Center has a lot to offer, like group fitness classes, a track, a fitness center, a waterpark, and a gym!

The Monon Community Center was opened in 2007 and provides the community with a state-of-the-art facility to gather and enjoy fitness and recreation. The goal is to create a space that is welcoming and safe for all.

The MCC is the central location for Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation. It is located in the heart of Carmel's Central Park and has fitness amenities, recreation programs, and rental spaces.

The Monon Community Center offers memberships for individuals and families that come with access to the fitness center, group fitness classes, indoor lap pool, the Waterpark (seasonal), and more. You can also enjoy the facility for the day with a day pass. The MCC is open to both Carmel and non-Carmel residents.

Individual Youth, Adult and Senior memberships are available for purchase online. Day passes and household memberships can be purchased in-person at the Monon Community Center.

We want to ensure that your visit is as enjoyable as possible, so we offer reservations for certain amenities. We take our guests' feedback seriously, so based on what they've told us, we will continue to offer reservations for the following amenities.

At the Monon Community Center in Carmel, we offer state-of-the-art, high-quality features and amenities. But we're more than just a gym! When you walk in the door you're connected with a strong, inclusive community. Explore all membership features below!

Two adults and any children under age 19, or a full-time student (up to age 25), related to the adult and/or living in the same household^ (i.e., living at the same address) will be considered a two-adult household as of August 11, 2021.

A household is a group of people who live together in a housing unit, like a house, apartment, or condo. Group homes, nursing homes, fraternities, sororities, and people who live in an apartment for work are not eligible for a household pass, but they may be eligible for the Corporate Pass Program.

Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation will only honor rates from the current year. If you find rates from other organizations that are different from what we have, we will not honor those rates.

Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation is looking for opportunities to provide scholarships to Carmel and Clay Township residents so they can participate in programs and wellness activities.

CCPR wanted to make sure that the community didn't have to pay a lot for the Monon Community Center, so they got a bond to help cover the cost. Even though taxpayers helped pay for the building, they don't have to pay to use the center. The center has been open since 2007, but CCPR hasn't gotten any money from taxes to help support it.

Fantastic experience: Been a member for 3 months and absolutely love this place. It is not just your typical gym. No instead, it is a hidden gem for the entire local area. It’s clean, well maintained with easy access off the Monon. The employees are so nice and seem like they enjoy where they work. I brag about this place and the effect it has had on me since moving to Carmel.

Fantastic experience: Just sprained my ankle tonight and the wonderful staff members did a lot to accommodate my situation. They handled the situation with upmost professionalism and wheeled me out to my vehicle safe and sound. There were five members who were all attentive to my injury, one was olly, I believe sarah was the other one, I believe she’s the front desk manager if not mistaken, Ashley, and a sweet girl whom I believe was a lifeguard

Fantastic experience: Carmel has a great community center. Lap pool for the adults, a big pool for kids with a beach like entry; even two water slides. Basketball, racquetball, jogging track, exercise equipment/weights. Nothing is left out. Outside they have a really good playground, and impressive splash park to cool off in the summer. Lots of classes and group activities. Really a great facility to take advantage of. It's extra nice since the renovations are complete.

Fantastic experience: Great space for hosting talks. The sound system could use a little work so that presenters can be heard and don't sound like they are speaking into a tin can.

Fantastic experience: Incredible value. Excellent focus on clean. Great fitness center and awesome summer pool activities like the lazy river and surfing area. Just want to add a little thing that says a lot about the place ... the crew that maintains the windows, keeps them clean, does an A+ job. I hope someone there shared this add to my prior post.

Also their second floor have a walking path open to the public. Their swimming pool is very nice, lanes area pretty cold but where the slides and kids section pretty warm. Summer time their outdoor splash park is very jammed it has infinity surf area. Definitely our kids love to visit this place.

Fantastic experience: I can't speak to much else aside from the water park, but this is one of our favorite summer activities. We typically go after 4 when the entrance rates are discounted and it's a bit less crowded. The lazy river wasn't open on our last visit due to upgrades and repairs being made This place is always very clean and the staff is always super friendly. I appreciate that we are allowed a cooler with drinks and snacks, but their concessions area has decent options at great prices as well! The new playground and splash pad on the west side of the grounds is pretty stellar as well. The layout of the play area is different and interesting and encourages inclusive and imaginative play.
