Extreme Martial Arts

Fantastic experience: My wife signed up our family including our 13 yr old daughter. We do the kickboxing classes together and they do the jui jitsu as well. My work schedule only allows me to make the kickboxing classes right now. This has given our family a physical activity we can all share. I have been involved in martial arts for over 30 years. I have taught and run a school myself in that time. I have alot of experience with different styles, systems, methods, philosophies, etc of instruction. I have to say that I am fully impressed with these attributes at EMA. They have definitely put alot of thought and energy into developing a broadly appealing system that is both effective and fun. They have a well rounded program that addresses health/fitness, self-defense, integrity, positivity, competition and respect. What I find most appealing is the focus on character development through martial arts training. You may or may not be a great athlete, but we all can develop great character through setting and working towards goals. Give them a try. I think you will find it an open atmosphere that helps you become your best.

Fantastic experience: When I started thinking about martial arts for my son I wanted somewhere where he would learn to defend himself but I did not want the "Cobra Kai" mentality. He has been attending classes for almost 6 mths now and he loves it! The instructors are amazing with the kids and they teach them great life lessons as well as how to defend themselves. They also allow the kids to have a lot of fun. They host Nerf Nights, potlucks and all sorts of things. It really is a great place. I would recommend it to anyone looking to get themselves or their kids into martial arts.

Fantastic experience: Been taking my son for the past 4 years and we as a family started about a year ago. We love the instructors who are very knowledgeable and friendly. Not only do they teach martial arts but also life lessons which are important for the kids. Highly recommend this establishment.

Fantastic experience: Our son started at age 5. Less than a year later, we see such amazing improvements not only on the mat, but off it as well. You couldn't ask for a better group of people and a better environment for a child to learn confidence, discipline, and leadership. Our son loves his training and we've all bought in for the long haul. Physically, mentally, socially--you name it, that area of your life will improve. Wonderful from top to bottom!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love EMA! Kickboxing has been the best choice I have ever made, the team is amazing. Great way to quickly make friends, and everyone pushes you to push harder when you feel tired. I strongly encourage people to take the risk and join!

Fantastic experience: Love this gym! I've never been a member of a gym until about 2 years ago. Even then I attended for a year before I got the nerve up to join in on the fun. I believe that this gym is more than just a place to work out. I feel like the staff and students are all like family. The welcoming feeling is true to heart. Since I've joined I've lost 54lbs! I've got more to go and will succeed!! Come join the family and give it a chance. It's fun for both adults and children.

Fantastic experience: My son has been going to extreme martial arts for a little over a year and he absolutely loves it. All of the instructors are amazing with the kids, and I'm pleased with how patient and kind they all are. They absolutely practice what they preach in terms of character traits. My son has come so far with his martial arts skills, but also his confidence. I love the little lessons that coach Ty teaches the children about being respectful, generous, being a good friend, etc. It's been absolutely worth every penny, and we're very thankful for all they do in our son's life.

Fantastic experience: Extreme Martial Arts has had a most positive impact on my family. Years ago my oldest son began learning here as he was beginning his first year of collage, looking for something new to learn after being a competitive swimmer for most of his high school life! He enjoyed learning martial arts, but really was inspired by these instructors for both mma and just life in general! Now my 13 year old is coming home every lesson night excited and inspired!! Thank you mma for helping my boys grow up !!

Fantastic experience: I wanted to personally reach out and show respect for the way your gym was run today. This was my sons first time competing. Your fighters showed a lot of maturity to say the least. Much respect. We appreciate it. He had fun, and I’m happy he wants to keep fighting. He’s going to build off of this. That could have went another way if the kid he was fighting wasn’t so well trained. Thank you all. Hope to see you again.

Fantastic experience: Great place. People are so nice and the coaches are great and really take there time with you. Its a great workout.

Fantastic experience: Both my boys have been attending and let me say something about what they have been learning. Of course they have been learning about kicks and punches but the most important thing is they have learned about character and giving back. Today both my boys asked if they could donated food and blankets to the homeless. So today I bought a few blankets from work and kept them in my truck. After picking my boys up from school we went to go grab some dinner to bring home. As we were getting ready to get on the highway, both my noticed a man on the side of road. They both said “Daddy can we give him one of these blankets?!” So before we got on the highway we three handed that man a blanket. This type teaching and moment just really made me a very proud father!!!! Thank you to the staff for teaching these traits and how important it is to not only know how to defend yourself but also to give back to the community!

Fantastic experience: Been going at least twice a week for a few months now. This place is awesome! The staff are great and the workouts are stellar. There is something for everybody here.

Fantastic experience: I've been going here for about 6 years now and have loved it since i started. The classes are fun, the coaches are great, and they know their stuff. The atmosphere is great and real friendly. Mr. Garrett is an absolute mad man when it comes to marrial arts and so are the rest of the coaches. I absolutely love this place and fully recommend it to anyone whi wants to learn martial arts

Fantastic experience: EMA has been incredible for our son! The staff, curriculum, and team-centered atmosphere are all more than we could have ever expected. His confidence and independence have improved drastically. And to top it off, he gets a great workout! We are so happy to be part of the EMA family.

Fantastic experience: I lost 35 pounds at EMA. Starting with the stat most want to hear. I did not join the team to lose weight or get in shape really. I worked out regularly, ate semi okay, thought I was in relatively good shape compared to most people. My goal was to learn to fight still is. I’ve learned a lot but still have a long way to go. After almost two years of training and following the guidance of the coaches, I am surprised by the complements on how my body has changed, wasn’t something I was tracking. I recently decided to weigh myself just to see. My stats from just before I started show I’ve lost 35 pounds and 5 inches from my waist without even trying. Whatever your goal is be it losing weight, getting in shape, learning to fight or just self defense, you’ll meet it here!

Fantastic experience: EMA is a Great place for kids and adults! The staff is great super encouraging and want the students to do their best. The life skills lessons are useful and help build a great platform for the kids to use in every day life situations.

Fantastic experience: Let me start by saying when you join this gym you are not only joining martial arts dojo, but a family! I have been at this martial arts gym since I was four years old, I have grown up learning not only how to defend myself but important life skills and character that have impacted my life in the best way! This gym has not only made me the best version of myself that I could wish for, but has given me a family that is always there for me even through the rough patches. There is no words that can explain how uplifting the other coaches here can be. I highly recommend this gym to anyone that is interested, it is by far one of the best things my parents did for me when I was younger.

Fantastic experience: We absolutely love this place. My husband is a former soccer coach and I am an orchestra director for a middle school. I cannot stress to you about how important we feel proper curriculum and age appropriate training is for our kids. Extreme Martial Arts has both of these qualities. If you are looking for a place that is intentional with your kids who will not only teach them martial arts but respect, kindness, honor, and thankfulness this is the place for you.

Fantastic experience: My son fell in love, the 1st time he came in for a free demonstration class. That day he found his passion, he is only 8 years old and has just demonstrated love,passion,discipline, respect for all people at Extreme Martial Arts, not only is he learing how to deffend himself but discipline at home and at school. The first day of school he came home and said his teacher was very proud and pleased with him on how he says YES MA'M to everyone! We both love Extreme Martial Arts it has been one of the BEST DECISION I COULD OF MADE FOR MY SON!!!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training here since I was nine years old, and it’s one of the only things that I truly enjoy to do. The lessons that children learn are useful throughout life, in addition to the martial arts and self defense techniques. There is always a friendly atmosphere. I would highly recommend trying this academy out, and joining the team.

Fantastic experience: We love coming here! We love the lessons, physical training, and the coaches here. Since we started bringing our son his behavior at school has improved so much! We have even received a call from the assistant principal to compliment him! This place is absolutely amazing.

Fantastic experience: After a year of being a part of this amazing Martial arts school I have lost over 110 pounds, gained knowledge of self defense and body image confidence that rivals that of my time in the Marines. That should say something about the way the instructors teach and lead by example. If you have goals these are the type of people that you would want in your corner to help you. The instructors are world champions, every single one of them. And every single one of these instructors relish the chance to share their experience. I do not have kids but i have seen what they teach and how they teach the kids and I can safety say that this is the best place to have kids learn everything from life lessons, responsibility, etiquette, and leadership. Once I do have kids they will be going to this place without question.

Fantastic experience: The instructors are awesome! The facility is great. The workouts are difficult but they push you to become your best and you see great results if you try your hardest.

Fantastic experience: Our son Gage started as a little Ninja when he was in pre-k. We moved away and tried other places for his martial arts but never felt the same as Exteme Martial Arts. Gage began to have trouble with kids at school bullying him and we did not get any support from the school. Gage became so quiet and withdrawn. We spent each day trying to build him back up from the kids at school tearing him down emotionally. When looking at places to move we wanted someplace that would allow our son to grow and become confident. We wanted Gage back into martial arts at Extreme Martial Arts. Gage changed schools, started back at EMA in April/May of 2016. The changes for the better have been more than we could have imagined. He has worked hard and became part of the leadership program. Gage is such a quiet and reserved boy when he is in large groups but he is growing every day. After being in their leadership program for a couple of classes learning about public speaking, Gage came home and decided he wanted to run for class president. I was amazed and shocked that he was ready to stand in front of his class and give a speech. He prepared the speech and utilized tools from EMA he learned. I was so proud when he came home saying that he won! The instructors at EMA were also so proud of Gage. One year ago Gage lacked the confidence to even stand up for himself or walk away from kids at school. The confidence, public speaking and life lessons he gets from EMA is more that I could have ever wanted for my son. We now train as a family at EMA and it has helped us all. As they say, "the family that trains together, stays together." Thank you EMA and your staff, we learn more than martial arts, we learn life skills that help us every day.

Fantastic experience: This is a truly amazing place to learn the art of Brazilian jujitsu. The instructors are very professional and will go out of their way to assure a great experience for all. I HIGHLY recommend enrolling your kids here. My son has been going for over 4 years to kickboxing and jujitsu classes. One of the best decisions we have made for him to improve his coordination, health, and physical conditioning. The encouragement from the staff gives the people here amazing self confidence.

Fantastic experience: This is a business that prides itself on being a professional and family friendly martial arts academy. I Have been training in Martial arts and BJJ for over 16 years and what i like most about this academy is not only the way they teach and the techniques taught, but especially with how friendly and respectful everyone one is. And if BJJ or Kickboxing are not your thing, they offer a great cardio kickboxing class weeknights that are great for a good cardio workout and stress relief.

Fantastic experience: Me and my daughter have been going to Extreme Martial Arts for about 6 years now and have enjoyed every minute of our time there. The staff is great with the kids class and makes learning fun. Not only do the kids learn a valuable Martial Arts skill but also life lessons about goal setting, perseverance, and accountability just to name a few. The adult classes are a blast for all skill levels and ages. I would and have recommended Extreme Martial Arts to all my friends and family .

Fantastic experience: The staff is very informative and takes the time to work with each student. Our son has been here a little under a year, and is progressing quickly. He has learned so much because of the fun and interactive environment. They take the time needed to make sure each student understands the moves before they progress to a higher level. Having to work hard for what is wanted is a great lesson to teach not only for this type of martial arts, but for life in general. We are very pleased how this academy is run, and our son is enjoying it more and more each day! Looking forward to many years of training and learning and fun.
