Fantastic experience: When I started working out at Southwest Fitness 17 months ago, it was at the recommendation of my nephew who loved working out there, and worked out every evening (before moving out of state). He told me about the owners, Kristen and Bob and their encouragement and expertise. Since my nephew is a former Ranger in the Armed Services, I thought at first that their gym catered to "jocks" like him. However, after joining Southwest Fitness, I realized that Kristen and Bob have created a gym that caters to everyone who wants to be more physically fit, and to have fun doing it. I have taken five out of the last six "boot-camps" run by Kristen, and have become a little bit of a "jock" myself (losing inches and pounds, while gaining strength, confidence and aerobic capacity). The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming; the gym is clean; the prices modest; and the equipment well-maintained. This is the first gym I've ever liked enough to stay with. Bravo, Bob and Kristen!

Fantastic experience: As many of us do, I was looking to get back into shape when I started looking for a gym nearby. I was tired of driving to Mesa/Gilbert/Apache Junction just to go to the gym for an hour. I was referred by my father to check out "Southwest Fitness 24/7" and when I went in, I felt at home! Bob and Kristen (owners) welcomed me with open arms and did not judge me or make me feel out of place. I have had 2 major knee surgeries on my right knee and had a very hard time getting the urge to go back to the gym and get back in shape. It was very difficult to find the urge to workout but Bob and Kristen stayed on me and gave me the encouragement and assistance I need to get back on my feet….literally! They are not only a beautiful and amazing family but they're knowledge and assistance in helping myself as well as many other members feel better about working out and staying healthy and in shape! It's a wonderful facility and is constantly kept clean not only by staff members but we all pitch in to keep the facility clean by wiping the machines down after using them as well as wearing clean gear while working out and exercising! It's a wonderful environment for everyone and you'll feel right at home no matter what who you are. We all keep each other striving to be better and stay healthy! Thanks Bob and Kristen!

Fantastic experience: This is a great place - the 24/7 access gives people the flexibility to come in at their convenience. The gym is always clean and everything is very well maintained and fully functional. The staff have been very helpful with creating a custom plan for me, but there is never a hard-sell for personal training or other services. Unlike other gyms, there isn't any pressure from non-employees trying to sell you training or supplements, and it doesn't have the "meat market" atmosphere of gyms where people just go to meet people. You come in and do your workout - no surprises and no drama.

Fantastic experience: This is a wonderful fitness facility. I've been a member since the gym first opened in 2012. You can certainly see the pride of ownership that Bob and Kristen have. They know all of their members by name and take an active interest in helping members reach their fitness goals. When I first joined, I hadn't been to a gym in over 10 years. First Bob and then Kristen worked with me to get in shape and lose weight in the process. Gyms can be very uncomfortable and intimidating places - not so at Southwest Fitness. I feel so comfortable and at home here. The other members and staff are so friendly and helpful. I'm a member for life!

Fantastic experience: Outstanding....amazing....extraordinary! I have avoided gyms due to the sales pressure, crowds and the noise. Upon my first visit (and joining the same day) I was greeted by Bob and Kristen (the owners). They make you feel comfortable and at home immediately. Once you join it's like being family. The gym is totally equipped with the latest and greatest equipment that suites all my needs. I can come and go 24 hours a day. So convenient!! I took the personal fitness training from Bob as I did not know how to use the machines. He is so patient (I am 66 and needed patience) and well versed in all aspects of personal training. I highly recommend this gym. Best thing I ever did for myself.

Fantastic experience: If there are two nicer people in Gold Canyon than Bob and Kristen, the owners of Southwest Fitness, I've yet to meet them. Regarding the facility itself, the planning that went into its design and layout are very apparent. The facility is purpose-driven, and every square foot is put to good use. I'm probably there four days a week, and I appreciate the fact that I can go on my own schedule. So if you're looking for a conveniently located, great place to work out, I highly recommend SWF.

Fantastic experience: Hands down this facility is clean, organized, very welcoming, highly educated staff and Gold Canyon welcomes them to our area. On another note from a previous review below, we pay a membership to use this facility and that money goes towards equipment, staff, etc. Southwest Fitness 24/7 is moving forward in being a top fitness center and not a facility just for taking showers. Join as a member and you will see what a great place this is to get happy and healthy!

Fantastic experience: I have been a member since the day they opened a year and a half ago!! Best fitness center in the far east valley!! Love Bob Kristen and Jane, they are so friendly and knowledgeable in the fitness industry, its like a big happy family :) The fitness center is VERY CLEAN, the equipment is new and safe! When Im working out there I feel like its my own personal gym! Everyone you run into at their gym is also very friendly, happy always greeted with a smile. The clients really mimic the owners personality! I love this gym and would recommend it to anyone who is living out in the far east valley. I feel the premium you pay to be a member here is WELL worth the experience you get working out there! YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!! all I can say is this facility and the staff are AMAZING! Fantastic experience: I joined this gym over a year ago. My experience has been nothing but positive. The staff greets you as you enter the gym by your name....I've belonged to gyms for many years and NEVER have they taken the time to greet me by my name. The equipment is great...there is 2 areas for strength training....multiple cardio machines...and a group exercise room with Fitness on Demand system...it's the best!!!! I can actually say I like working out thanks to this gym. Keep up the good work!

The owners treat everyone like family. They are top-notch and don't know any other way but to Always BE WONDERFUL and accommodating. Good people attract good people.

Fantastic experience: I am selfishly reluctant to do the review in the same way nobody wants to give the secrets of their found treasure. I went exploring for a gym a few days ago, and came across Southwest Fitness 24/7 on google. I read the reviews, and decided to go check it out. I emailed the provided address, and was responded to quickly with the information I requested. I went over same day and signed up on the spot. A few workouts in and a couple take aways as follows. The staff is extremely nice, and we had a great conversation while enrolling. The facility is CLEAN. The owners are awesome! The facility is doing some work, which is great that the focus stays on improving. The gym has adequate cardio and strength equipment that is fully functional and clean. I have def. found my home gym!

Fantastic experience: Bob is the best personal trainer I have ever worked with and he has a background in physical therapy therefore he will monitor your heart rate throughout along with discuss any injuries that you may have to ensure that any exercises he incorporates into your workout is going to be safe for you. This facility is very clean with bathrooms spotless and nice showers. I find this boutique fitness center to be a hidden gem here in Gold Canyon.

Fantastic experience: Not your average gym. Very clean, equipment is always in good working order and the patrons are actually pretty friendly. The best part, though, is the couple who owns this place. They really do care about their clients and they want the best possible experience for them. There is always a friendly greeting and a smile when clients come in. Although sometimes they are busy, they are ALWAYS available to answer questions or demonstrate how machines work, etc. The positive attitude of SWFitness is due to the positive attitude of the owners. Great place, great people.

Fantastic experience: Originally I had a problem. But then the owners contacted me personally and tried to figure out what happened and how they could fix it. They most definitely fixed every problem I had. Never had a place reach out to me like this to make sure everything was okay.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been this gym’s member for 2 months and I just love it! My personal trainer is helping me hard to get in perfect shape and lose weight that I put on during chemotherapy. He knows that I’ve limitations due to my health but he still designed a superb work out plan for me. The best gym.

Fantastic experience: I'm in town visiting family and stopped by to see if I could get a one month membership. The staff is very nice and the facility​ is clean. I love the 24 hr access I can go whenever I get the urge. Would recommend this place. Great experience

I have used Bob for my physical therapy for both of my knee replacements and could not be happier. The Gym is clean and plenty of equipment. The 24 hour operation is a big plus!
