Fantastic experience: I wouldn't normally write a review for a gym, but I needed to cancel a portion of my gym membership. In the past, this has been a headache with other gyms, but Michael the manager addressed my inquiry the next business day and fulfilled my request without making me jump through hoops. Bravo.

Fantastic experience: Nice equipment, bumper plates, great barbells, and this place is CLEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN! $25 a month? It’s underpriced, but I’m thankful. Staff is friendly and eager to serve. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Great local gym, not too crowded. Robust selection of equipment. They have a pool and classes. Much bigger than it looks from the street. been going seriously since march 2022, very happy with the available equipment and machines. plenty of Free weights.

Fantastic experience: I love this Gym its always clean its never packed I really like all the trainers, because they are not pushy when it comes to your needs, and they make it all about you. I have started a weight loss journey and its been amazing and it would not be for hard work and dedication and my trainer Mark.

Fantastic experience: Best gym in the area! I enjoy working out here, front desk staff is nice and friendly. The gym is clean and has a good-energy vibe. I've been here when they open and after work and get the same consistency. I haven't used one of their trainers yet, but they seem friendly, and say "hello." I feel motivated and part of something fun working-out here. Great place, thumbs up!

Positive experience: I originally cancelled my membership back in October, yet I kept getting charged until I noticed. I went in this month to cancel not remembering if I had done so in the past, while there Vanessa asked if I had came in to cancel before so that I could get a refund but I told her not to worry about a refund since I had no record saying I cancelled on me did nor did I remember. Anyways the membership got cancelled quickly. I want to thank Vanessa for taking the extra time to check if there was a notice of cancellation in the past after me leaving that day, even without me requesting that someone find out and give me a refund, she called me a week after to notify me that she found that I originally cancelled in October and that I’d be fully refunded for the extra months charged. I give Vanessa 5 Stars!!! But for the place as a whole I do not, I can’t fathom the lack of care for my money in regard to the staff that took care of my original cancellation since they did not make sure I was no longer getting charged even after they made a record of cancellation, absurd. Anyways, the gym itself is nice but no longer fits my needs. Once again, Thank You Vanessa for your care, you did not have to, but I appreciate you taking the time to be extra conscientious, the World could use some more folks like you!!

Fantastic experience: This place is great! Has just about every equipment you need and the Gold's Fit classes provide that extra push that I need. I have been coming here since November 2020 and I love it.

Fantastic experience: Gym is large and spacious. There's plenty of equipment and I rarely wait for a machine, weights, or cardio. Price is fair for the amount of fitness options offered. Pool is still closed "indefinitely", but the sauna is open. I've never had trouble with membership, fees, payments, or communication with management. Other clients are friendly as well.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym. The equipment is new and everything is clean. The locker room is nice as well I liked that there was large lockers I can store my backpack in and a hanger for my jacket.

Fantastic experience: I went in for a tour today with the manager and left thoroughly impressed. You can tell that the manager cares about maintaining the facility. The equipment looked well-maintained, the gym was clean, the locker room was clean, and all of the staff didn’t push a membership sale on to you. Pricing is also incredibly competitive compared to other gyms. These alone are enough to get my business. I will be commuting from Uptown probably passing by at least 5 gyms on the way to go to this one. Well done, Gold’s.

Fantastic experience: Been coming to this gym ever since the Plano one was destroyed by a storm. This Golds is superior - clean, friendly staff, excellent selection of machines, tons of various classes and bomb personal trainers! The AGM is considerably hardworking and always eager to please!

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Clean, HUGE, has literally anything and everything you could want, including a nice lap pool. Classes are included (body pump, barre, yoga, etc.) which is AWESOME & for an extra charge you can get access to the studio classes - cycling and Gold’s Fit (CrossFit). I think that’s really nice to be able to go ONE place for everything. They even have child care if needed. Everyone is nice in my experience. It is a big place so some may feel it’s not as “personable” but I know the staff well enough. The instructors and trainers are really knowledgeable and great motivators. I just want a place to work out, not social hour, so it’s perfect for me! Definitely recommend Gold’s Richardson!

Fantastic experience: I’m from out of town and this is by far the best golds gym I’ve ever been to. It is clean, a lot of equipment all of which is new, sauna, and it was not super packed! Loved my visit!

Fantastic experience: I am pretty picky when it comes to the overall gym experience. I do not agree with annual fees and defintely need a gym that stays open past 10pm. I truly enjoy the layout of golds gym to say the least. There are so many different sections that target certain areas such as the free weights, cross fit or as they say gold fit, group fitness, locker rooms and family rooms, lap pool, hot pool, and sauna, stretch section, a cinema cardio room, and so much more. There is childcare available and a cafe too. Enrollment comes with a complimentary 3D body scan to help you get a better picture of where you stand and implement goals. This Golds Gym is not like the others...it is clean and yes, staff look, dress, and speak professionally. On top of this there is a mix of people...people from all walks of life...seniors, pregnant women, body builders..anyone that you could think of. I really enjoy working out here.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough about the great experience I've had here at Richardson, Golds Gym! I'm not from here so I pay month to month and all my fitness needs are met my gym dues are reasonable and I absolutely love the gym !

Fantastic experience: I have been a member with Golds for about 3 years and I love the gym. My boyfriend came home on military leave for Christmas and Cesar made the process of getting him a pass very easy. All the staff is very friendly, making my drive from North Plano worth it!

Fantastic experience: Great location overall! Prefer it over all the other Gold Gym's in Dallas because of the space layout. Although staff changes often, they are always the friendliest team members and always willing to help with any situation.

Fantastic experience: Great Gym. We chose this gym because they have the most affordable child care in town, and our kids love it!! They have fun while we get a great workout. The trainers are all great and the staff are all super friendly! It's very clean and all the machines work great.

Fantastic experience: This is a new facility as such everything is in great condition. If you are serious about working out and competing you'll love this place. They have a dedicated cross fit area, cardio studio, aerobics class, spin cycle, free weights, pool etc.

Fantastic experience: This is a pretty cool gym. I will admit I came here reluctantly as the Gold's on Preston was damaged severely in a storm and this was the next available locatiom. In any event the gym is always clean and has alot of places to park. There's new equipment and enough space so I don't feel like I'm crowded when I work out. I'm really seeing results since I started training with one of their trainers Austin B. Usually I hate trainers cause they try to guilt you into buying sessions. With Austin however it was totally a no pressure situation. He took the time to understand my challenges to becoming stronger, fitter, better. Long story short I've seen better results over the past few mths than I have in the past few years. I am by no means athletic but he's got me benching and squatting like I never thought I could. Pretty good experience I must say!

Fantastic experience: Without a doubt one of the cleanest gyms I've ever been to. I'm very impressed that they have 3 squat racks and even a deadlift platform. They also have plenty of functional training equipment such as kettlebells and bumper plates. The only thing I'm a little bummed about is the rules: they don't allow dropping weights, chalk, or grunting. But hey, can't have it all. Overall, not bad at all for a commercial gym!

Fantastic experience: I had a problem related to the Plano Golds Gym which closed in March due to storm damage. Mario and Mike helped me resolve it as soon as I contacted them. Excellent customer service!
