Fantastic experience: Jon is great to work with. He continuously challenges you and sees strengths where you may not see them yourself. All of my lifts increased and my body size decreased. Strongly recommended.
Fantastic experience: I just started out working out and running this past summer. Boy, I have say, John really upped my game! Incorporate his strength training into your routine and you will SEE results. My body is leaner, has more muscle tone, and I feel really strong after only one month. You can tell he is really dedicated to his clients and pays close attention to exactly what exercises they need for their fitness needs. He is simply an expert in his field. Fantastic experience: When I signed up for my first month of boot camp sessions with Jon Drees at Drees Performance Training I have to admit, I was skeptical. I had done boot camp style workouts at other facilities in the area without any tangible changes to either my strength or physique. However, within the first 5 weeks of training with Jon I started seeing real results. In those first 5 weeks not only had I lost inches, but I started to look leaner and more toned. With the nutritional guidance/support offered with the training I was able to break through the fat loss plateau I had been struggling with for several months. Fantastic experience: Jon is the first personal trainer that I have every had, and he went well beyond what I thought it would be. He pushed me to do better with always making sure I wasn't hurting myself, made a huge difference in how I view myself and my ability to "Just DO IT".

Fantastic experience: I’ve been working with Jon for almost 2 months now and the progress I’ve shown has been astounding. Fantastic experience: I hired Jon after doing a search for Personal Trainers on my MindBody Connect App. My goal, to continue rehab and BJJ strength training while away from my regular training/rehab team in NYC, post ACL reconstruction. As the Owner of a Health & Wellness business in NYC for over a decade, I've experienced the best and worst in the marketplace - and Jon gives the best a run for their money. In his caring and professional manner, Jon delivers sound techniques which are ever evolving even in session. He understands mechanics and assessment as the foundations for delivery of appropriate workouts, and appropriate workouts = results. He honed in on specific muscle movements necessary to protect my knee from further injury, while grasping the performance needs of a BJJ practitioner - giving me workouts suitable for both. I was able to work into my hips and quads in a way I hadn't considered when training for my last competition. I feel strong and confident in my lower body, which is absolutely crucial for success in my sport. I bought my Godson a membership with Jon for performance training as he transitions from HS sports to college. For the driven and dedicated young athlete I could think of no better place to go to up the ante. Overall money and time well spent at Drees Performance, a super place to land and glean as many tips as you can for your fitness toolbox!
Fantastic experience: I am writing to give my highest praise and respect to Jon. I have been lucky enough have found him via the internet and to become a client of his. Jon and I have been training one on one for about four months and I have never, in over a decade, thought I would be ever able to do what I have been able to accomplish with Jons direction and training. He has taken a very "broken" knee and made my body strong to support it; I have progressed to doing lifting and cardio exercises I never thought I would ever be able to participate in again in my life. I have evolved from a state of avoiding exercising, wearing a brace, limping and often tripping even on flat surfaces to no longer needing the brace, walking with confidence, using stairs, and looking forward to the next training session to see what I can accomplish. This has been the best investment I have made in myself and it would not be possible without a person like Jon that can see past boundaries and limitations and provide a path to conquer them and move towards excellence. Fantastic experience: I have had great success with Coach Drees Training! In the past, I have had nutritionists, done online food programs with journaling and tried trainers at the chains like Lifetime. Ive also tried video workouts, online workouts such as Biggest Loser & Jillian all with little or no success. I started working with Jon in January and lost 20 # by April. I am now working on my next 20... I do have a bum ankle so he takes into consideration my physical limitations and works on my mobility in every training session. He has been a huge motivator for me and I look forward to every session!

Fantastic experience: My daughter and son love going for private volleyball lessons at Drees. Coaches are so interested in seeing improvements, lots of advice and corrections. I have also signed up my daughter for the clinics which she loves! 1 1/2 hours of training, playing and enjoying the sport. Perfect! The coaches are all amazing! We especially love Samantha, she gets on the courts to teach and play with the girls. You can imagine how fun it must be to play with these incredible big ten athletes. Dream big girls!

Fantastic experience: Drees Performance Training is a great spot to workout in the off-season to prepare for your sports. There is a friendly staff and they know what workouts to put you through for your particular sports.
Fantastic experience: I have join gyms in the past and go strong for about 3 to 6 months then the drive fizzles out. I joined Drees in June to try to see if there was a better way to workout and enjoy it at the same time. It's now Dec. and still going strong! There is a wide variety of training, so every part of your body is strengthened. Jon is very knowledgeable if you have questions or concerns, he is dedicated to your success.

Fantastic experience: I decided to join Drees Performance training with the sole purpose to lose weight. Drees performance training was recommend to me by a friend. Before coming to Drees, I was attempting to go to the gym by myself however not knowing what to do was getting overwhelming. I had tried many things to lose weight and get fit, nothing was working for me. In fact I was only gaining more weight. I decided to give it a shot and see if Drees was the place for me (best decision made). I have been attending the group sessions for 3 months now and have seen great results! I have lost 16 pounds. Not only that I'm also getting stronger, when I first started I could not lift the bar and now I can do that and more! The atmosphere and people who attend Drees are welcoming and encouraging. It's always a great time at Drees. Jon is very dedicated to the workouts and makes it a comfortable place to workout! Fantastic experience: Drees Performance Training was critical in my preparation for a recent Muay Thai bout. Jon is a patient coach who emphasizes technique without being overbearing. He tailers a regiment specific to your goals and time frame. He is also flexible and will work with you with scheduling in case something comes up. The facility is very clean, well maintained, and has a great spacious lay out. The equipment promotes functional strength. Fantastic experience: I have been going to Drees since February and I really love it. I started off in Semi Private lessons and eventually progressed to the group fitness classes. Jon makes sure I know how to do each exercise without hurting myself and also pushes me to work hard. I have had great results in both weight loss and building strength. I recommend Jon highly.

Fantastic experience: Drees Performance Training is exactly what I was looking for to help me lose the weight I gained after having my baby. I started with Jon under his 21-day fix program and within those three weeks I had more energy and could tell a difference in how my clothes fit. The classes are not like the boot camp classes offered at chain gyms. His classes are focused on strength training using free weights. I've always been intimidated by free weights, but Jon is there to guide you every step of the way.

Fantastic experience: I found Jon through an internet search of trainers in the south metro. At first I wasn’t sure his gym would work for me since he has fewer machines than many gyms have. Jon turned me into a believer. I am close to 50 and in the best shape of my life. He does a great job customizing workouts and nutrition to my goals and abilities. I highly recommend Jon.
Fantastic experience: I had been a member of Life Time Fitness for a number of years. I stayed loyal to Life Time because I loved their group fitness classes. I quickly became addicted to group fitness because it helped me lose the weight I gained during college. This past spring I recognized my favorite group fitness classes were mainly helping me maintain what I had lost. I was not making any real progress. I wanted to get stronger and build muscle. I was ready for a change. As difficult as it was for me to let go of my group fitness classes and try something new, I am so glad I did! The boot camp group training has exceeded my expectations. While I still get the group fitness feel working out with others, I have gained strength and muscle in the few months I have been a client at Drees Performance Training. While I do give myself credit for showing up and doing the work, without Jon’s expertise and drive to get you results, I would not be reaching my fitness goals. I would recommend Drees Performance Training to anyone who is looking to better themselves. Not only will you learn proper lifting techniques, you will also have support from Jon and others in the group you need to achieve your fitness goals.
Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a personable and very knowledgeable trainer you should see Jon at Drees Performance Training. Jon creates varied challenging workouts that get results. It's a great spacious, clean facility with showers available. Which makes a huge difference for me when having to get to work after.
Fantastic experience: I used to be a cardio junky. I knew I could improve my race run times with some strength training but couldn’t religiously stick with a lifting program. I’d feel like an idiot in the gym, as I was sure my form was terribly wrong and I honestly had very little idea of what I was doing. In March, 2015 I began attending boot camps at Drees Performance Training regularly. These workouts kicked my butt 100% of the time (in a good way) with a blend of cardio and strength training. The facility is super clean and the group atmosphere is truly inviting – even for someone like me with little to no lifting experience. Jon and team use exercises that provide the most efficient workout while also coaching you on the proper form. Believe me, it’s fun! Since starting with DPT, I am stronger AND faster (I’ve shaved almost 10 mins off of my half marathon time). I recommend this program to anyone. An experienced lifter or not, you’ll enjoy yourself and see some killer results.
