Fantastic experience: After an incredible first time experience with my partner I can say that this Y just feels like home! Bustling with tons of activities and great facilities it is my favorite YMCA to come to in Erie County. It felt accepting, diverse, and family oriented.

Fantastic experience: One of the cleanest gyms I've ever been to and the staff is extremely helpful. If you want to get a good workout and not be judged and actually get what you want out of a gym I recommend here. The childcare is also superb and the pools are one of the cleanest ones I've ever seen in a gym. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: There is a diverse set of activities and classes for all ages. We love Body Pump and physical training with Tara. The free weights room is excellent. My 2 year old loves the beginners swimming program. The cleaning people are always working hard and it shows. Lastly, fellow members are courteous and friendly, which can really brighten your day. As you can see, becoming members of the YMCA has far exceeded my family’s expectations!

Fantastic experience: Lots of classes for all members of the family and lots of machines, a beautiful raised walkway for walkers and joggers. The pools are great. building is beautiful. What more could one ask?

Fantastic experience: So many programs and activities offered at very reasonable price. Staff is always so nice no matter where you are (I've dealt with child care, gymnastics program, the gym, and front desk staff). The location is always kept clean and organized.

Fantastic experience: I like the facility first and foremost. The pool is very clean and the atmosphere is friendly. The Swim Classes work well with our schedule, the classes are small and manageable allowing the student to get the attention he/she needs to learn. The Swim Instructors are great! They are knowledgeable, and attentive.

Fantastic experience: Had a wonderful swim lesson experience at the YMCA. No $35 registration fee like Michael Phelps Swim School. Class was taught by an expert who engaged all the children and taught them through songs and activities. My very tentative daughter made great strides in 8 weeks. Water is warm. Zero depth entry is perfect for toddlers. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: We love the childcare and time with kids especially the Adventure Room. The Zero Depth Entry pool has helped our child get comfortable in the water and develop his skills outside lessons.The adult fitness equipment is plentiful and high quality. The staff are attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: Excellent branch! Wonderful variety of programs offered for ALL ages, from birth to older adulthood. Staff is always friendly and willing to assist when needed.

Fantastic experience: There is always so much to choose from whether it’s small group classes, exercise equipment, or playing a game in the open gym. The Y really caters to families as well with activities and programs for the little ones. Child care watch amazing for parents who want to work out but don’t have anyone who can watch their kids!

Fantastic experience: This is our relief place during snowy winters . Warm and wonderful people, good facility for keeping our self fit. The walking trial, the gym, basket ball court , swimming pool for both kids and adults,makes it so perfect for family, the child watch is so nicely maintained that we can do exercise with free mind , without worrying about kids. Open till 10 every day, so added advantage. The little ones also enjoy equally at this place.

Fantastic experience: This place has a vision for excellence and must have some really high quality management in place. Staff is friendly, Gym is fully equipped, and the child care allows us to make our wellness a top priority. Well don YMCA!

Fantastic experience: I enjoy having child watch and Alaskan adventure room where the children will be watched while parent works out. I love the different sports that are offered throughout the year, especially basketball which my son enjoys to participate in. He enjoys being a part of the team, making new friends and improving in the sport he enjoys. We also love the family movies shown at the YMCA. Overall we have great experiences going there!

Fantastic experience: This facility is probably the best around the Buffalo area. You have a big parking lot to begin with and enjoy the size of the facility straight away. The front office staff could be confusing at times but it will he a good experience at the end. Make use of the family membership and it will be a big save for the entire family.

Fantastic experience: My kids (ages 7 & 9) love the Adventure Room, the climbing wall, and the zero-depth pool! I love that I can get some much-needed me time and still ensure my kids are cared for. I only wish we had become members sooner!

Fantastic experience: This is a great gym with friendly staff - the facilities are kept very clean with a wide variety of equipment. The only downside to this gym is that it can get very busy from time to time, specifically when college / high school are out for break.

Fantastic experience: It's well maintained and most of all has indoor track. Not to mention group classes although I haven't tried them yet. Cardio equipment seems latest too.

Fantastic experience: We've been members here for almost 2 years. I go almost every day with my husband. It's always clean, there's tons of machines, the classes are really a ton of fun. The instructors are friendly and so are the staff at the front desks. The locker rooms are clean the water fountains are clean and the floors are always clean. If you want to place to get fit without feeling like you're in a meat market this is the place for you.

Fantastic experience: All classes are included with membership and this is where the fitness value is found. I've been a member a couple years and find that the great instructors and the connections made with the other regulars in the classes are what keep me coming back.

Fantastic experience: They have everything a family needs to stay healthy and fit. They have a really great kids watch and adventure room so parents can go work out. My son loves it. They had a kids pool and a regular lap pool which is so nice.

Fantastic experience: Y is the best. And this location trumps all. They have a great customer service and an amazing facility. Instructors are good and very knowledgeable. The parking spaces are great without much problem except for super busy days. Cleanliness, workout facilities, pool area and group activities - everything is of top notch quality. More classes during evenings and weekends would help.

Fantastic experience: We came for just for swim lessons for our daughter, and ended up getting a full membership. The facility is beautiful, and has everything an active family could need to stay in shape. There is something for everyone. We do especially love the zero depth warm water pool for encouraging our daughter to enjoy swimming!

Fantastic experience: This facility is really great. I love that it's a welcoming place for older folks, families, and individuals of all fitness levels. They've got great classes, a huge pool, steamroom, and sauna, open gyms, weights, cardio and trainers who are there to help. They work to adapt their programs to the community and it's reasonably priced.

Fantastic experience: My favorite gym. Clean, friendly and well-trained staff. Adequate and well salted, snow cleared parking during winter months. Many, many classes for all levels of energy. Good karma here!!!!

Fantastic experience: Gorgeous health center, absolutely enormous! Somehow not overly crowded, extremely reasonable rates, and TONS of free classes. Child watch is great, and the Alaskan Adventure Room (indoor playground) is amazing! My kids are obsessed. Oh! And the lap pool is great and BIG, and the zero entry kid's pool is absolutely perfect!

Fantastic experience: Our family of 7 frequent the Y as much as we can. The YMCA has always been a family oriented facility and this branch takes it to the next level. The amount of amenities available are more than worth the cost of membership. There is something for everyone. Honestly, the worst part about this place is telling our kids that it's time to go home. They plead for one more shot or one more lap around the pool or one more trip down the slide in the adventure room.

Fantastic experience: YMCA has many good activities for kids and adults. 2 pools and many classes in gym areas and other rooms. Good activities for seniors. Walking track inside and babysitting area.

Fantastic experience: Great facility for all ages, all shapes. Multiple rooms with varied classes, large area with machines & free weights, gyms, pools, indoor track (about 9 laps per mi), pleasant staff, low key atmosphere. Pretty quiet early (6-8am).

Fantastic experience: Very clean and friendly staff. Decent amount of free weights. Tons of cardio machines. Great place to kill a workout when on vacation.

Fantastic experience: As a wheelchair user, it's important to me that every area is accessible and meets ADA standards. So much more to love about this place, but getting in and around easily makes the biggest impact for my family!

Fantastic experience: Love, love, love the pool!!! I go to one of the morning classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays and can't wait for the next one!! I also use the hot tub afterwards!! It helps with my achy joints and muscles, and just feels wonderful, especially now that the cooler weather is finally here.

Fantastic experience: Love this place BUT in the wading pool 13 year olds allowed to play in it? Stomping on all these little kids. Life guards aren't saying anything except for the one who has extreme anxiety. At least she notices EVERYTHING!!!!

Fantastic experience: The Independent Health Branch is a great pace to go to work out. The swimming pool and gym are great. There are many other facilities such as a track.
