Fantastic experience: I'm a guy in his 40's who has seen a LOT of gyms in my day, and this place is extremely impressive if you're looking for that hardcore environment. I did a walk through today because even though I'm a member at 2 other gyms, lol, they just don't give off that positive energy that makes you wanna tear up the gym. And I'm sick of waiting for a machine while 20 year olds are congregating all around them on their phone. This place is getting my business !!!

Fantastic experience: Went for the first time last night, and WOW. Hands down, this is the best gym in WNY, and I’ve pretty much tried them all. Packed with every piece of equipment you could ever need, yet it somehow never feels cramped. The vibes? Immaculate. The energy? On point. Great music, great atmosphere—everyone’s there to crush their goals, not put on a show. I have an Esporta, LA Fitness, and two Catalysts within 10 minutes of my place, but Underground is worth the extra drive after work. I had my best workout in months and can’t wait to go back tomorrow!

Fantastic experience: 24/7 access, 365 days a year. The place is huge and has a wide enough variety of space and equipment to suit everyone’s needs. What’s not to love?

Fantastic experience: Far and away the best gym I’ve ever been a member of. Between the great equipment, clean / well kept facility, & 24 hour access, the owners do a great job all around. I think that by comparison it’s on the more expensive side compared to other local gyms, but I can say after being a member since late last year that it’s well worth the $$$

Fantastic experience: Al, your gym is my safe haven while working on set in Buffalo. Having 24 hour access in my work life balance is a must. Al came through for me as we had the production company arrange things. Al was extremely helpful and explained the process to me where everything was a breeze. It’s a serious gym, but everyone is courteous and helpful. No issue with equipment and waiting for equipment has never been an issue. Truly appreciate Al and his gym. Without this place I would’ve lost my mind trying to make other gyms work for my schedule. From the equipment choices to the cleanliness this gym is like finding the promise land. You don’t have to be a body builder just respectful and stay off your phone while using equipment, rack your weights, and clean the equipment. Simplistic and a lifters playground

Fantastic experience: I reached out in advance, as I was visiting home from overseas. They were quick to reply and VERY accommodating. This gym is LEGIT! Zero distractions. Well kept. Everyone there was respectful and serious about their training. Loved it. This is now my one and only go-to gym whenever I visit home in the future.

Fantastic experience: This is the best gym I’ve ever belonged to. There are so many great things about this place. The key-FOB system allows you to workout 24/7 365. The equipment is great, there are so many variations to most if not all machines and Al is always adding new/ different pieces as well. For some gyms, the goal is to sell PT or get referrals at a predatory level…. Not UG no PT sales, no pressure to get referrals, none of that. These are just a few points that make UG great and there are many more once you step inside. 10/10 best gym in Buffalo/ Orchard Park

The lifts on these machines are so smooth it’s hard to put into words without you actually experiencing it. the owner is dedicated to finding the best of the best machines. Well worth it if your looking for a private club and a great place to train.

Extremely clean and organized. Finally a gym where member's are courteous and pick up after themselves. No wandering around looking for stuff!

I have been training for over 30 across the U.S and have not seen equipment like this in years. Private gym, private 24/7 access, no bs. Great place, I would recommend to anyone looking to get in the best shape of their life.

Fantastic experience: Underground Gym is beyond comparable to any other gym/fitness facility in WNY. The equipment selection and quality of the machines is top notch and the overall atmosphere is really fantastic. I love the new space on Thorn Ave - it's amazing to walk into (every time) and makes you feel motivated instantly upon entry. The attention to detail makes UG the best lifting/workout environment in the area. Lastly, I really feel that the owner truly cares about his clientele which he reflects on everyone in the gym - meaning the members are kind and encouraging no matter what level of lifting/fitness they are at. There is no unhealthy ego at this gym. 11/10.
