The Natatorium: Opinions
Negative experience: We were here for open swim, and the fire alarm went off and the lifeguards were pushing everyone (we were soaking wet) outside in 7 degree weather. They were yelling at all of us… it was completely ridiculous how the lifeguards handled the situation. Putting babies at risk of hypothermia for a false alarm.
Positive experience: Close to home, a like it. A clean, fun place to work out.
Fantastic experience: Love the natatorium. Great for everyone. Nice prices. Family and kid friendly. Wheelchair accessible. Pita pit inside. Tree playhouse for kids to play at. Kids Castle for kids to be watched while you work out. Pools, hot tub, lazy River and kids playzone. Family locker rooms. Women's and men's locker rooms have saunas. Multifunctional rooms for group classes. Cardio and weight areas, walking track and basketball courts, pickleball areas too.
Fantastic experience: Great place! Everything you could want or need to exercise
Positive experience: Great if you're a resident
Negative experience: I was a member at the Natatorium for a little over a year. While I appreciated the facilities and reasonable prices, I experienced several troubling incidents with other members. Most concerning, a woman threatened to whip me if I misbehaved, and on multiple occasions, another member told me to “behave myself.” These incidents appeared to be racially motivated. When I reported these issues to management, I was told that nothing could be done. I cannot recommend this gym to anyone seeking a safe and inclusive environment.
Positive experience: Nice gym, decent hours… but overran with pre pubescent teens who screw around on the equipment and don’t re rack their weights
Fantastic experience: Awesome and helpful staff! Very clean and welcoming.
Fantastic experience: This gym has everything. I have not seen another gym like it... Not even in Columbus, OH.
Negative experience: I can’t go into the hot tub because I’m under 16 and I can’t go into the lazy river but besides all of that it’s fun and the basketball is fun
Positive experience: Update: they canceled it after I contacted someone else. I feel I shouldnt have had to go through this though and will likely never return. 1 star- My dad died and they canceled his membership but wouldnt cancel my membership that he paid for. Sorry but im grieving and dont want to go workout without my dad. Thats one of the reasons i had mine. He would go to pt there and id go run while i was waiting for him to be done with his appointment. I dont understand. I never signed or agreed to anything.
Fantastic experience: Close enough for our employees to work out. Safe area. Good amount of equipment and options. Love the kids workout area. Clean. Friendly staff. Ask them about local employer discounts for your staff.
Fantastic experience: Very Nice Facility! I wish there was a steam room, Love the Hot Tub, Swimming pools and therapy pool. The water slide is great for the kiddos! It would nice to see an Outdoor Patio Area during the Summer Months with some lounge chairs and tables. If the one or two large windows could slide open or put a garage door type window.
Fantastic experience: Cant say enough goid things about this place. Joined late July and I've never felt more comfortable at a gym.
Negative experience: Tons of amenities and services for seniors and children, instructors, friendly staff, my biggest issue is the pool, it is dirty, the chlorine smell will burn your nose and give you a headache as soon as you walk near the gym. My second issue is the lockers, they are very outdated, there are not many showers, and the showers don’t have doors, they have old stained curtains that don’t close all the way, which is very unnerving. The showers are also dirty and the water temperature is either boiling hot or freezing cold. The other things are great, but, the last few things are inexcusable for me.
Positive experience: Very old weight machines. Needs two of each of many. They are rusted and do not move freely. The locker room has no paper towels. Ewe.
Positive experience: Great place to work out, nice selection of machines and freeweights
Fantastic experience: Great family place to swim and get exercise
Fantastic experience: Excellent instructors. Love the senior classes.
Fantastic experience: I honestly never thought I'd give a gym 5 stars, but I have reasons. So far (2 months member) everything works. Sounds silly I know, but the last gym I was a member of, half the crap was broken 80% of the time! They have A/C (another that was broken at old gym). Just about anyone I could want to do is there. Can be a bit busy (maybe because it's good..) but what can you do. The pool will be out in August (uh oh, a thing broken!?!) but they give members a free pass to a nearby water park while the pools are down (who does that?!? I was actually moved by this). Only complaint is that the Sauna stunk pretty bad (could've just been unlucky and been there when Toe-Fungus Tommy was a patron...
Fantastic experience: We come here for a private swim lessons. Sarah is great. She's knowledgeable and is a teacher in her profession. So, it's a great combination. Staff is very friendly.
Fantastic experience: Great combination of stuff, not too busy, helpful staff.
Fantastic experience: best place for swimming lessons if you're a resident and can get in. they fill up fast because they're affordable and the teachers are the best in the area
Fantastic experience: Absolutely love, the Nat. We recently became members and started going to be able to use the pool and eventually the gym in winter. Price wise for membership it's expensive but has more to offer hen your local YMCA. Classes are included in your membership unlike other fitness centers. Well worth the price in my opinion. Residents get a discounted rate which is nice. Facilities are clean pool seems well maintained so far . Staff is very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to taking some classes here soon
Fantastic experience: Love the children’s climbing tree! It’s great for kids of all ages and abilities. The Kids’ Corner staff is wonderful and truly caring. I’m so pleased to have found this unique gem right in the heart of Cuyahoga Falls!
Fantastic experience: Great place to exercise and swim If you ride SCAT, Limousine service seating has been removed at the main entrance and exit. UPDATE Seating at the entrance and exit has been replaced for sometime.
Negative experience: Worked out here for a couple of months, the workout area had everything you need, kind of cramped though. I would just workout at a cheaper gym if all I was doing was lifting. ****super disappointed with the children's swim area , and our experience. We initially joined because we have a daughter with disabilities, that was able to try out the pool with her school. It was great, however, when we signed up we notice that the children's swim is not accommodating to our schedule, sat and sun 1-5....shocking. if I was to know that the pool was going to be closed down for a month, and we were not told in advance, I would not have joined. We were excited to use the children's room, but I never ended up using it. I really wanted a refund or to be able to cancel without any repercussions. But we were told they would just send us to collections if we tried to cancel. This is not the way to treat customers
Fantastic experience: I take a class called Drum It Out, an aerobic workout using large exercise balls as the drums, taught by Brenda. Wednesday morning, many seniors take it. It’s fun, but gives you a good workout too. Adaptable for all abilities.
Negative experience: We showed ids and were asked to show proof of residency for cuyahoga falls. We showed her some bills from our email because we have moved since we got our licenses. Another woman comes and says we need to show we pay taxes in Cuyahoga falls. Who carries tax information with them and who shows them to enter a pool? We asked if she carries them around and she stuttered and said I have access if needed. Did not know we need to show private and sensitive tax information to enter a pool… She claims it was policy. They let us in anyway but it ruined our experience. We won’t be back.
Positive experience: It's a really cool place. I like that both kids and adults have their own areas.
Fantastic experience: The 4-lane 200 meter indoor track is amazing(2 lanes are dedicated to walking, 2 are dedicated to running) The staff are very friendly and helpful as well.
Fantastic experience: Great gym if you can afford it, wish there were 24 hour options, but the amount of things supplied cannot be beaten.
Positive experience: It was $30 for my 4-year-old and I to swim. 1 month is $45. We got yelled at for going into the only entertaining part being the circular tide pool thing. The slide was down as well and sprinklers. So I feel like they could have took off maybe a dollar lol something. We drove an hour to go. Would not go again, but we made the best of it.
Negative experience: I enjoy goin but there's some ignorant staff and sometimes the people can be rude, I've went a couple times and constantly get yelled at for things other people do. And I bring my niece and nephew so I don't appreciate all the thong bathing suit bottoms.
Fantastic experience: I have MS I go to use machines and walk to keep strong everyone there is so nice. I use a rollator but I don't feel out of place. There are all different kinds of people with different capabilities there I feel very comfortable going
Positive experience: The Nat is a great facility. There's so much to do here. We really like that they even has a kids fit program. Our son was in it until he aged out. The facility is always clean & the staff is friendly. Our membership for a family of 6 is a bit pricey.
Negative experience: The water is so cold and alote of people. There isn't much for bigger kids to do.
Positive experience: I love the different pool areas which means you don't have to share with loud kids splashing or slower people in your way while you're trying to get laps in
Fantastic experience: Very cool pool area. My kid loved it. Looked to have a nice workout area with plenty of equipment. Also the locker rooms were clean and spacious.
Fantastic experience: Great value for all your workouts needs. Most classes are included in the price and I can always find an open machine. There is a walking track, sauna, etc. fully equipped.
Negative experience: Love going . Not willing to work with me on membership . Paid for it , didn’t use because of health issues . They want a doctors excuse . I was sick , not in the hospital . Highly disappointed . No help with management ! Expensive thievery .
Negative experience: Only giving 2 stars because they single out kids from ages 7-11 BUT still charge them for a full membership price. Monday-Friday kids ages 7-11 aren’t allowed to swim. Kids already do to school all day what would it hurt if you just allowed them to come in the evening for a few hours. Saturday and Sunday from 1-5 isn’t enough especially when they have parents that work weekends. I would also like to add we showed up for an open swim on a Saturday and pool was packed to the max. A birthday party was going on KIDS everywhere! Wouldn’t hurt to open to pool for a few hours to kids during the week! I bet it would thin out how many you have jammed in that pool from 1-5 on Saturday
Fantastic experience: Staff was really friendly and helpful. Went for the pool which was nice. Kids had a great time. They also loved the “treehouse” right outside to pool area. Price was reasonable for the day pass.
Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, nice facility, and one of the few indoor gyms offering pickleball and racquetball. I visit every time I'm in town visiting my kiddos. They have a non-resident lunch card which is perfect for me!
Fantastic experience: The kids 7-13 years old had a blast in the pool and slide on a snowy Saturday afternoon
Fantastic experience: Came here after visiting the Y on Broad. Very friendly and receptive. Outgoing and helpful.
Negative experience: Such a dirty facility! Equipment is hardly ever cleaned and is constantly in disrepair. Dust bunnies everywhere. Plus, it’s not tween friendly. Too many days the gym is closed for pickleball. Very expensive for non residents for it to be a constant issue for my 10 yo son to find something to do while I work out. Unfortunately, there aren’t many options for families/single moms in the area.
Fantastic experience: Great choices for workouts, it's clean and staff is friendly
Fantastic experience: Plenty to do whether you want to swim or workout there are plenty of machines clean pool and they have Zumba which is a great workout get your heart pumping and get you sweating. But the bathrooms and especially the pool changing room need a deep cleaning!!
Fantastic experience: Clean locker room, pool was at the perfect temperature and the spa was nice after swim and walking the lazy river. Tyler showed me around and gave me my pass. He was so polite and was attentive to the activities I mentioned. Also introduced me to other team members.
Fantastic experience: I love the Nat very nice place with plenty of equipment.Nat is very clean and well kept
Positive experience: It is very nice just close very early
Positive experience: Overall just ok. Instructors use severely outdated music for the classes. Seems pretty overboard to have someone monitoring the use of cardio equipment. Actually a lot of the staffing just seems overboard. Lots of outdated equipment, specifically the benches, plates, etc. Also wish it was open earlier. We come here for the convenience of location only.
Negative experience: Very nice facilty. Plenty of equipment. Pool and slide. Gymnasium for basketball. Upon entering, my husband and I were greeted by friendly staff members. We were guests of members, so we paid for a day pass. As I began to explore, I inadvertently walked past the round desk, which unbeknownst to me was a point of exit. The lady at the desk was talking with a co-worker, not really paying attention. So when I attempted to return to the workout area, I was asked who I was if I paid. I told her I literally walked over to the window(which was in her view) and came back. I just walked by literally less than 1 minute ago. She gave me such a hard time because SHE was not paying attention. She called the co-worker over from the point of entry desk to verify i paid, but i told her she wasn't the person who checked us in. Then. I was asked if I had been there since 2 pm. It's 8 pm! No! Why would I spend 6 hours at a gym? Some people may spend a lengthy amount of time at the gym but 6 hours. I really felt harassed and aggitated by this question. I didn't realize that we were listed under the members' names and not our own. She kept trying to look my name up, but i wasn't in the system. I had to get the member to verify that I was a guest. It was quite an ordeal. She (the lady at the circle exit desk) was very rude, mean and unpleasant, and unprofessional. I feel guests should be listed under the members and individually. Also, guests should be given a wristband. Idk if this lady just wanted to give me a hard time and pretended not to see my info in the system or if she really needed the member to verify. I do feel like the situation exaggerated and drawn out to embarrass me. I feel that if she had asked the right questions, the situation could have been resolved easily and professionally, or maybe if she was more attentive, there would have never been a situation at all. I would have rated this place 5 stars, but I have 0 tolerance for unprofessionalism.
Negative experience: Severely disappointed with our swim there today with our 3 year old. The sprinkler/splash/water slide stuff is off on the weekdays (price is same), we also arrived at 1:55 pm and they have a 2-2:40pm “safety break/closure” of the leisure pools during this time so we had to leave and come back. Price was $38 for two adults and a child ($14 each per adult). Pool floor was corroding and felt awful to walk on. The floor was flaking everywhere and felt gritty on the soles of our feet. The drains were all covered and surrounded by huge rust rings. Bathrooms in the pool area were also very dirty. Won’t be coming back here again as there are many better options available.
Negative experience: Today is day 6 of the Natatorium ignoring holes in the side netting at the top of the children’s area treehouse. My wife told them about it on Friday. I reminded them yesterday. The front desk manager told me today that they pushed it up the chain but were told by their superior that they could not close it while awaiting it to be fixed. I’m not a lawyer, but in layperson language I call that criminal negligence. Edit: I had to reach out to the Parks Superintendent, the Mayor’s office, the police department, and the entire city council to get this fixed. See below for a picture example of the black mold that is present in all of the men’s and family showers. Kid’s Castle babysitting is phenomenal.
Fantastic experience: the day pass is worth 9 usd. or 45 a month. It has swimming pools, basketball, gym, conference room. etc I loved it.
Positive experience: Is a nice gym but I really wish some things were different. The child care is only for walking kids. The awesome water park is only open on the weekends. It's super hard to get into swim lessons. You only get child care included if you pay for the whole year, no trial available. And no discount for low income families.
Fantastic experience: Great staff of employees. Friendly, helpful. The people who workout there have fun! Once everyone gets to know you, there is always laughter somewhere. No stuck up or meat market here.
Negative experience: Today the staff decided to have officers escort me out because of how i was carrying a metal bar the same exact way i've been carrying it in front of them for literal months as part of my load bearing training. Has a good amount of work out machines, some bananas, showers though. Would be three, but they feel a guy carrying a metal bar for his workout is more important than whoever keeps pissing all over the 2nd story men's toilet. Waste of officer's time when they essily could've approached at any time during those months.
Fantastic experience: I got a membership and had an orientation to show me how to use machines for strength training and where everything was. They were very helpful, and now I'm more familiar with the location of each pool and machine so that I'm not wandering aimlessly.
Negative experience: When stuff breaks, it stays offline for quite awhile. TVs have been off for months! Current channel is now broken for who knows how long. We should get a discount when the amenities they promise you at registration are no longer available.
Negative experience: I would like to use stationary bikes with clip in pedals outside of class. There is a very outdated one on the floor. The rest are in a studio. I spoke with the manager and she would not offer a solution (such as allow me to use the ones in the studio outside or take one out of the studio). I do not enjoy the classes with loud music and on a schedule. I'd like to use a bike whenever I please, for as long or brief training as I want, and listen to my own music/podcast/watch videos. Is this too much to ask?
Positive experience: Started going here last week I’ve been 4 times already and have been here many times before with my family when I was younger the atmosphere is great and staff is friendly everything from equipment to the facility is nice except the pools I feel that they need to atleast repaint the walls in the actual pools seems very dirty or just old and needs re painted
Positive experience: Pool was a great time, lots to do! Some parts of the floor are chipping/crumbling. Love the treehouse play area also, always a big hit with my kids!
Negative experience: Very disappointed is not open like website and sign on the door states. Went to take family for vacation and was informed very rudley by the front desk worker that we could not go in. After she had asked for the ages of the children. Why if it wasn't opened did she need to know how old they were. Is it because I had young children they turned us away. Do not recommend taking you family here. Sign on door says family swimming starts at 845 but that's false. Website is very misleading also. Can't give 0 stars or I would.
Negative experience: Very misleading website says opens at 845 for swim even door says family swim 845 am. Get there tells us open swim not available for another 3days. So if you are planning a vacation with your family i dont recommend. Staff was rude when we asked about it. If i can give negative i definitely would.
Fantastic experience: It was our first time visiting there, and we will definitely go back. The staff were very friendly, the pools were very clean, well monitored by life guards, and the hot tub was huge. There is workout equipment for everyone,a swimming experience that all ages can enjoy. The indoor tree house/playland for the kids was awesome.
Fantastic experience: I took my grand-daughter to the Natatorium for the first time. She had so much fun. That I'm going to make it a habit to go more often with her.
Negative experience: The Natatorium is a nice facility and in the past was the nicest and most affordable place around. However, in the past few years it has started to falter. When equipment is broken it tends to stay broken for a long time. There is a lot of old equipment which isn't bad as long as it are maintained and working. But again if something goes down it takes a long time to fix. The dumbbells are tore up and falling apart. The roof seems to leak often. There are buckets on the indoor track more often than they should be. The men's main locker room door has been broken for at least a week and it often just stays open. That is not okay. I would expect a locker room door would be a priority to fix. The shower curtain are often broken and just poorly designed. The water temperature for the showers is absolutely terrible unless you are in the first stall. The other stalls are not a consistent temperature. If you turn it up to the maximum heat, you'll be lucky if the water is warm for 30 seconds before it's cold. It continuously fluctuates from warm to cold which is very frustrating. The Natatorium used to be the premiere facility it the area, but recently has begun to be a failing facility. Revive the Natatorium to its original greatness.
Negative experience: This is for physical therapy. So I was told 2 weeks ago at my evaluation that it would probably take up to 14 days for my insurance to improve and I got a call back exactly a week later but I was working and missed the call. I tried calling back, no answer, so I left a voicemail. They called again really early the next day but I was working once again and tried calling 30 mins after and there was no answer again so I left another voicemail. The next few days they didn’t call so I assumed maybe they were closed over the weekend but I still attempted to call myself. Every single time I called it rang exactly one time and then the voicemail plays. So I figured someone was either sending me straight to voicemail every time I called (which was sometimes several times in one day) or something’s wrong with their phone. This is the only number I had that my doctor gave me to call and the number they called me from as well as the number they told me to call. So I didn’t know how to get in contact with anyone at this point so I decided to call the building number. I didn’t know ahead of time that the building as a whole wasn’t meant for physical therapy. So I spoke with the person on the phone and she forwarded the message to physical therapy. An hour later the physical therapy receptionist calls me and asks for my name. I say yes and she tells me who she is. I respond saying oh hi and before I can continue she cuts me off and starts going off about how I can’t call the building because they’ll get mad and told me that I need to be patient and everybody needs to be patient. She also says that she doesn’t even have a Message from me. I proceed to say I did leave messages. She has a really nasty attitude and continues to tell me that she doesn’t know how that’s true because all she has from my number is that I kept calling and hanging up (which I wasn’t ). I told her that I left 2 voice messages and every other time I’d just regular call but I wouldn’t hang up. She tells me that she wrote the number down but wasn’t going to call back because she didn’t know whose number it was. She also tells me that the days I called and left messages, she was the one answering calls so she doesn’t know how I left a message and she didn’t get them. But by the end of the call she says whoever was working those days must not have forwarded the messages ? Doesn’t make any sense when you just said you were working those days. She overall had a nasty attitude and continuously told me I wasn’t being patient but I’ve been calling for the last week so I think I’ve been pretty patient. So much more happened but I’m going to move on. I ask to just schedule my appointment and she says they’re going to schedule me just 1 day a week. I tell her that that’s not what the doctor order says and the doctor also told me personally and wrote on the order that I need to be doing physical therapy for 3 days a week and around 8-12 weeks. She proceeds to tell me that it doesn’t matter what the doctor says. This was the last straw for me. She also continuously spoke about her being the only one there and everybody needing to be patient. I just went ahead and scheduled the appointment and hung up. I had an appointment with my primary doctor today to get everything transferred and to go to a different physical therapy place. From the start with this western reserve hospital I was iffy because my experience since I went to the er hasn’t been that good. So I just went ahead and canceled my services with this place moving forward. The phone call with this receptionist was the last straw. I’m sorry I typed so much but I wanted people to know specifics and I hope this helps someone. Thank you!
Fantastic experience: The natatorium is a wonderful place to exercise. They have a ton of gym equipment, and they also have a literal gym, so you can play some basketball. They also have a big swimming area. The swimming area is m my personal favorite to use there because it's indoors and reliable for all seasons. Also, I had quite a few memories with my closest friends and family. In the aquatic center they have a walking exercise pool, a tube water slide, a giant lap pool that's convertible into a diving pool, a smaller child splash section, another lap pool but it's smaller, and finally a hot tub. The staff are quite nice and very serious about their jobs.
Negative experience: I graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 2001 and the Nat STILL has the same equipment they have had since then. Majority are raggedy and sooo old. Also the shower curtains are extremely poor quality and look like they’re from the dollar store. With membership fees being the way they are, this is unacceptable. My family and I left and went elsewhere.
Fantastic experience: Great indoor fitness center with great staff! Classes are challenging and fun. Swimming pools are great for adults as well as kids. Jacuzzi and sauna facilities are exceptional.
Negative experience: For the most part, the Nat is a perfectly acceptable gym with a few standouts: Lenore, a fantastic yoga instructor, comes to mind. Also the sauna is great, however, I have never been to a gym where people wear their street clothes/shoes in a sauna--GROSS! Also, a gym of this size needs to up their game where equipment is concerned. I made a suggestion awhile ago that a second set of 20 lb. weights would be greatly appreciated since a lot of people including me, rely on that weight for much of upper body workouts. I guess, the manager ordered some but again they seemed to disappear or only one would be on the rack. Once, I saw one propping open a door in the pool area. I had another chance to address this when a manager came up to me and said that someone had complained that I was using an adjustable bench for too long. Say, here's an idea: order more equipment! I only use the bench for exercises that require the incline--no longer than anyone else I observe, but having only two of these benches for a gym of this size is ridiculous. I hope whoever is in charge of ordering equipment does a better job in the future because this is getting annoying considering I pay good money for a family membership. I also agree with another post that mentioned that a lot of people just sit on machines and stare at their phones. I don't have a problem saying something but I think management could be more proactive. One more thing: I have taken several photos of machines or deadlift bars that use plates with several 35-45 plates left on for the next person to remove. Management should strongly discourage this rude and ignorant behavior. On the bright side, the variety and quality of the equipment is great and the pool is awesome.
Fantastic experience: Close by where I live. As a silver sneaker. I like the indoor track. There are more things to join, you can work out with weights, swim or take lessons.
Fantastic experience: Facility is very nice with friendly, helpful staff. Just joined and hope to take advantage of more activities in the near future.
Fantastic experience: Absolutely love the aquatics center. I'm not familiar with he rest of the gym but the physical therapy and pools are really cool. I like that they have open swim for the whole family as well
Positive experience: Its has huge space good for practice swimming ,the water is clear but tastes like wet gym socks when you go under.....idk why
Positive experience: My family and I had a great time at The Natatorium. The staff was friendly and helpful. Non-Cuyahoga Falls admissions rates aren't pricey. The pool was clean, well-maintained, and lifeguards enforce the rules. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing day out. It can get a bit crowded in the kids' section of the pool during peak busy hours. Please click the Like button if you found this review helpful.
Fantastic experience: I love this place! Its always clean :) So many thing to do here for kids and adults .
Negative experience: An okay gym, a bit pricey, but whats most concerning is that they have kids running the gym that don't really care about the cleanliness of the place. For the price, seeing people with open wounds sweating on equipment and not wiping it down after (and employees showing zero concern) its only a matter of time until someone catches MRSA or staph. The staff will not address people who are gross so beware. I will not renew a membership here anymore.
Negative experience: We drove two and a half hours to get here with a 4-year-old in order to go swimming and play on the splash pad. Call the head the day before to make sure everything was open and we were told absolutely, that the splash pad would be open the entire day, got hours and everything. Showed up and were told that nothing was open on the day we were here. Even though, we were told the day before that everything would be. It's a long way to drive in the car, talking about how awesome this place was to a 4-year-old only for him to be disappointed. Awful way to run a business. Apparently, the staff who answers the phone needs to be educated on when things are open. I do want to add, that the staff who was here when we showed up were very apologetic, kind and professional. I don't blame them at all, they can't do anything about it. It was the person who answered the phone the day before that ruined our day.
Fantastic experience: I toured this location and was impressed with the great customer service and the cleanliness of the facility! Great place to spend time with family
Positive experience: Great gym but there’s one employee that tries her hardest to disturb my peace and I don’t understand what her issue is. She works in castle during weekday mornings but also works upstairs sometimes. Older lady with a short gray cut. I’ve been a member for 3 years and EVERY time she opens her mouth it’s something off-putting and rude. She says unnecessary things in a shady high school girl way. It’s as if she wants to upset me but I gracefully ignore her. Very strange mean spirited woman but covers it up with a smile. Lots of passive aggression.I’ve complained before, but of course wasn’t taken seriously and was told she didn’t mean it because she is elderly… but she isn’t elderly enough to work with kids. Interesting. She is very sharp and knows exactly what she’s doing. Even the way she talks to and tries to control and over power the other daycare workers is weird. She’s also mean to my kids when they are in castle ( but please note the other workers are really sweet and my kids have a great time when she isn’t there) Other than her, great gym and employees! The evening daycare workers are AMAZING! If you have encountered this lady you know exactly who I’m talking about ! Something needs to be done. Maybe I’ll post a pic of her.
Fantastic experience: The best place I've ever gone to do my light weights physical therapy. After that sit in the sauna to melt some of the toxins out. Hot and cold jacuzzi plus a huge pool for cardio swimming.
Negative experience: I’m sure the facility is amazing! I wish I could give a better review. We drove 45 mins to take our kids swimming on Sunday. I called ahead to get the hours, the automated answering machine said the pools were open until 645 and the slides closed at 5. We weren’t too worried about only having a little time on the slides, we were mainly going for the pool. We arrived at 4pm and was told they close in an hour, I asked for a discount rate since there was only an hour left, and he said they didn’t do that. The workers were very friendly though. But management needs to fix their answering system. We weren’t the only ones either…A family with 8 kids were behind us wanting to go swimming too. Disappointed is an understatement!!!
Positive experience: Some of the weight lifting machines are showing their age. Can get pretty crowded on certain days and times. But it's still an excellent place with tons of fitness equipment and nice pools.
Fantastic experience: It is a great place that has something for everyone. Machines, free weights, indoor track, basketball courts, and more. Offers military discounts as well with monthly membership payments
Positive experience: Took my family here on a Saturday afternoon for the first time ...they had a blast the only thing I would say it really doesn't have much for adults to do in the swimming area and there is only vending machines maybe have more concession stuff to choose from but over all my kids had a great time
Fantastic experience: Wonderful place! Friendly staff and lifeguards. The locker rooms could use a good cleaning. But, I love going there, taking exercise classes, and relaxing
Negative experience: The pool used to be a great place for kids. But there are too many rules that make it restrictive for kids. The slide is never open and the height restriction is too high for most kids to use it anyway, the lazy river is for adults only, and you can’t even hold onto the wall without a whistle being blown at you. Not a fun place for kids anymore.
Fantastic experience: I love this place this place is very cheap and it's reasonable so you can take your kids there for a few hours and it's just like going to Kalahari if you can't afford it you can also do hair with your children everybody was nice that place is always clean and the manager that runs the place she is really really nice so I want to say thank you to her and her crew keep up the good work
Positive experience: The facility is pretty cool and the staff are nice but the pricing is a little bit much. We only want to have our son be able to go swimming but my lady and I want nothing to do with the water. We would be sitting and doing nothing except for phone stuff but we still have to pay full price admission just to be in the building. They do have swimming lessons and a lot of events. And my son loves so yeah I would say it's a good place to go. But be sure to have extra money
Fantastic experience: Spotless & not packed at all. Loved all the SALT water pools. They even have a Hard current workout pool. With lifeguards everywhere, its perfect for family fun! They have a Kids equipped work out room & adults have a massive equipped gym & track overlooking the pool. We Will go back
Fantastic experience: I get this place 10 stars like that I love this place my daughter loves his face and the manager there was an issue and she took care of it I currently appreciate her but yes my daughter had a blast and the price is really reasonable cuz we're non-residents
Fantastic experience: Great place! Not cheap, but spacious, well equipped, clean, swimming, walking/running track, swimming/exercise pools and more. See numerous parents with their kids, especially on the track with little ones being pushed by mom or dad. Well worth the price if you're interested in getting fit and if you are retired and have "Silver Sneakers" then it won't cost you at all.
Fantastic experience: My family & I love the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium. We use the swimming pools & the track. It’s very clean & the staff is friendly & helpful.
Positive experience: This is a great place to take your younger aged children. Took my 10 year old, 9 year old, and 2 year old niece. They all had fun, but it is more age appropriate for younger kids. The older kids loved the slide and just swimming in the deep end. The 2 yr old loved the kids' area and the Frog toddler slide. They have ample space for changing. There is also a tree house outside of the swimming area that can be played on. Wish they had more open swim times.
Positive experience: It was a definite good time affordable and lots of fun the staff can use a little tweak but it's still a great time
