Negative experience: Most of the people are nice but I had an altercation where one day I walked in the ring to shadowbox because I was told to. Then I guess a boxer who has been there for a while was in there too, after sometime he started to push me around trying to bully me out the ring. I told head management they really didn’t do anything beside make the guy apologize at that point he didn’t want to , second this gym doesn’t really train you, you go in and tell you to start hitting the bags, just very nice staff

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this place! It's the real deal; if you imagine an authentic boxing gym, that's what you get. Music playing, jump ropes skipping, laughter, ring alarms, pads thumping, the whole nine. Friendly atmosphere, welcoming, and patient. The coaches are experienced and really invest in their athletes of all ages, you can tell they are trying to challenge you yet uplift you at the same time. Have had to take a break due to personal circumstances but every day I think about the moment I can go back!

The staff and trainers are incredibly welcoming, skilled and have the ability to coach all skill levels ranging from beginner to very advanced. All the necessary equipment is here from the ring, to bags, pads, bikes, treadmills, strength and training weights, ropes, they have it all. If you’re looking to come in and workout quietly then leave, this is the place. If you’re looking for a group class, this is the place. If you’re looking for a trainer, this is the place. If you don’t know where to begin, this is the place. If you’re an experienced pro, this is the place. BBS has a space for everyone. The members are friendly, respectful and very helpful and encouraging to one another. I really love to see how the trainers speak to the young kids and are able to take the disciplinary skills of boxing and make them into to relatable lessons of life. BBS is more than just a gym, it’s a community.

Fantastic experience: The best real boxing gym around. The coaches and staff welcome new members of all ages and treat them like family. All of the coaches are very experienced and even offer very affordable 1on1 personal sessions for those interested as well! During COVID they maintained such a safe and clean environment for everyone to workout and continue to do so afterwards till now. This gym is perfect for anyone trying to get in shape and/or learn boxing... no matter how young or old!

They call you family as soon as you join, and you can feel and see how everyone helps one another. My son loves Coach JT, and is learning so much. Fantastic experience: Awesome community tucked away in the industrial section of New Brunswick. Very wholesome but old school atmosphere suitable for all levels and ages. You'll get scrubs like me working on the heavy bag next to a guy preparing for an amateur bout, and we're both welcomed like family. Also glad this gym takes COVID seriously and takes extra precautions and care to provide a safe place for people to work out. Good people, good vibes. Great boxing gym!

Fantastic experience: So far the only boxing place I have been where you really can practice boxing and actually learn. They have ring and after some time it will be possible to have real fight, it up to you and your coach when you will be ready to go to ring

Fantastic experience: Brunswick Boxing stars and JT are a great gym and a great family. I recently moved up here from Florida and they have shown me nothing but kindness. As a matter of fact my first week I left my wallet here and JT found it for me and returned it with everything in it. Other than that it’s a great place to train, great coaches and a great place for the kids.
