Negative experience: Never received any communication from this location about it closing other than the place being in disarray and an eviction notice on the door. I have not been able to get in touch with anyone after numerous emails, calls and stopping by the place at which of course no one is ever there despite them supposedly having “staffed” hours. They never even gave me a new mat despite me paying for one- they gave me an old used, test mat. I would love to cancel membership but am not sure how to even to do so. I will have to reach out to corporate.
Negative experience: I was emailed by the owner Lindsey staying they would be closing the Broomfield location and that I could either continue they were locked out or I could cancel and not be charged. I immediately emailed back to cancel but they charged me anyway for November. I emailed multiple times and called the Broomfield location without any response. They are just taking money from people now until they close for good. Completely unacceptable.
Negative experience: Very sad this location is closing, however the studio went downhill fast. We cancelled our membership based on the email from the owners but were still charged for November. Please watch your credit card statements. We had to dispute this and hope it doesn't happen again in December.
Negative experience: I worked at Children’s Hospital and chose to come here because they offered a good discount and I had a great experience at my original one back home in Indiana. Twice now I’ve been incorrectly charged - first time it was a 3 1/2 week process. I kept getting the run around of management would contact me. The young girl I spoke with was kind and professional and surprised when I told her no one has yet to reach out. She followed up with some reasoning of it changing from management. I still have the text thread. I told her they needed to honor what was in the contract and was finally corrected. I’ve been incorrectly charged an additional $59, again. Cannot go in person as I have moved to NC. I have called 2x & left a voicemail, as well as an email. My Inquiries have gone unanswered. Felt the only way I was going to receive any assistance was disputing with my bank &/or coming here. Update: Hotworx never connected with me. Huntington Bank had to settle my dispute to refund me.
Fantastic experience: I absolutely love Hotworx! It is the longest gym membership I've ever kept. I used to dread going to the gym, as I really don't like working out with others. My gym time is my ME time, an escape from work, kids, chores, etc. And, I've finally found my gym! There's nothing better than starting my day in a dark, hot sauna burning calories in half the time of a normal gym. I mostly go during unstaffed hours, but any interactions I've had with staff have been positive. It's always clean, the other members are kind and respectful, and I actually look forward to working out everyday!!

Fantastic experience: This gym has done wonders for both my body and mental health. From my pelvic floor to flexibility to strength—it’s been the first gym that I can’t wait to go to. Not to mention I lost 16 pounds in my first 6 weeks!
Negative experience: Franchise location that treats customers unfairly and deceives them into a contract in order to meet a quota. Each location has different contracts and inconsistence.
I’m sorry that you feel that way. I feel I need to respond because some of the info in these two reviews are false or misleading. As we discussed on the phone, your contract is very clear about how to go about canceling your membership. You told me that you read your contract fully on the phone that day so I am not sure what is so upsetting. To be clear… Yes we do have a 60 day notice to cancel or a $99 flat fee to cancel and all cancellations must be done in writing at the studio. As a standard practice in the GYM industry, It is always in writing and you sign a legal contract with that stated very clearly to protect the member and us the business. We do not have a quota, we are just trying to survive as a small business in a tough industry. Thank you.
Negative experience: Service here from employees AND the manager is extremely crooked. Contract says one thing yet employees are quick to tell you another just so you can sign up and then flip the script having you locked in a contract requiring fees to cancel or switch to another home location. When calling to get clarification every person says something different and unable to get a clear answer. DO NOT recommend this location as you can be stuck without a choice. In order to cancel or switch a location it's required a 60 day notice OR a $100 cancellation fee - which was NOT what I was told when I called in asking multiple employees.VERY unhappy. Each location has different rules and requirements to follow.
Again the contract is in writing that you agree to when signing up. It states that no verbal agreements are withstanding only in writing can be upheld. As a business owner if I ever had an employee say something that is misleading to a client I would not have them work for me, period! Thank you.
Fantastic experience: Hotworx is amazing!! It's finally a workout that I believe is Sustainable! I've tried other places Rumble boxing, Orange Theory (not bashing them, just not for me). I Love their Hot ISO and Barre classes. The Heat is just spectacular and I'm feeling so much stronger. Highly recommend 10/10!
Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about Hotworx! It's a challenging and effective workout for all fitness levels. The quick workouts make it an easy addition to my busy lifestyle (I can usually squeeze in a 1/2 hour class before picking up my kids). The studio is conveniently located and always spotlessly clean. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous. It's also SUPER affordable which I appreciate. If you're looking for a new kind of workout, I highly recommend giving this a try.
Fantastic experience: This place is great! The sauna workout room is perfect for sore muscles and you can work out as much or little as you want. This is especially true if you are recovering or working through injury.
Fantastic experience: I love this place. It is absolutely so convenient to go to simply because there is no schedules. I am going on in two years since I joined and one of the things that is always consistent is the place is clean always available and there’s always something to do. The staff is friendly. They don’t have to be there when you go to work out which is what I love about it because if I feel like working out in the morning, I can if I want to work out in the afternoon I could or at night it’s just whatever my schedule dictates. My wife asks me how was your workout and I always say consistently it’s never bad.
Fantastic experience: This is my favorite gym and favorite workout regimen I have ever had. I love how I feel afterwards. The studio is clean and I feel safe. I love the variety of classes. Lindsay, the owner, is amazing and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly!
Fantastic experience: For decades I was a long distance runner-- now in mid life and my body just wasn't responding the same way. I had chronic pain and stress was through the roof. My doctor had recommended I switch to a different type of exercise. I am not one for heavy weight lifting and yoga in a studio wasn't my thing either. That was when I found HOTWORX-- there are many things I love about it, the top of the list is how good I feel-- I do enjoy a good sweat and strength training-- with the sauna--- No pain. I can't tell you how it works, but it does. I am stronger and I feel so much better. Variety of workouts and you can go ANYTIME-- Yes. ANYTIME. The space is clean and easy to access. This location, staff is friendly and helpful and has good music going. Everything is stocked well and easy to find your way around. Highly recommend!!

Negative experience: It cost $120 to cancel my membership. Which I haven't used for two months. Watch what you sign. The young girl at the front desk was also awful to be when I canceled my membership.
Negative experience: This was one of the worst gym experiences I’ve ever had. One Saturday, I had someone in a trio friend group straight up steal my *booked* spot in a sauna, AS I WAS ABOUT TO WALK IN. I was irate. A few months later, I called to cancel over the phone and the employee told me I had to physically come in. I asked her if it was a 30 or 60-day notice and this unknowledgeable employee told me “30 days….and if it’s 60 days, we will make it 30 for you since I didn’t know.” Fast forward to me going in at the perfect date to fit the 30-day cancellation window, and a different employee tells me it’s 60 days. Obviously annoyed, this employee tells me, “If you want to cancel right this second, you can pay $99 instead of waiting for two billing cycles ($120)” - I chose the $99 option because I wanted to get the hell out of there. First off, please educate your employees so they can answer such a simple and common question. Second, don’t go here if you want welcoming and respectful gym vibes. 0/10. I would give this studio zero stars if I could.
Fantastic experience: I LOVE working out here! There’s 8 different ongoing nonstop virtual classes, plus bikes and rowing machine and TRX! I often bring my iPad or iPod and do my own thing, yoga or resistance bands to either a YouTube video or my favorite tunes. I can’t get this intensity at the gym because the infrared is a game changer! Seriously, this is so awesome. The staff are so nice, navigating the classes is easy… I’ve been going for 3 months and I love it! (For the chick that complained that she couldn’t bring her own yoga mat, that’s because it’s so intense, you will sweat, it’s a safety issue… not sure what her issue is because they provide a great mat and towel. And if she doesn’t like the fees, well it is a lot cheaper than club pilates and about the same as most gyms !!!! Why do people complain about price when it’s upfront?)
Fantastic experience: Great, convenient, clean facility. Love the HOTWORX model and so glad we have one in the neighborhood. I’ve come to crave these great infrared workouts! Super friendly staff, too.
Negative experience: The fees are ridiculous. You can’t use your own mat or towel and they force you to pay for their overpriced mat and towel. They don’t allow you to transfer your membership if you move and when you cancel, the 2 month heads up does not include the month that you cancelled. The classes are the exact same classes for months at a time. I also had multiple antsy people walk in on me before I was even done rolling up my mat because they weren’t respectful enough to wait 60 more seconds.
Fantastic experience: Have been a member at this location for over a year. Dave and crew are always personable and welcoming. This workout is like no other. I have more energy through the day when I work out. Will be a member at this location as long as I can.

Fantastic experience: I wasn't sure, but had to try this new boutique infrared workout! Zero regrets! There are a lot of options to choose from HIIT to Yoga and Pilates. This is must-try - you'll be hooked!

Their staff is amazing and the clases are top notch! I could not be happier! It seriously is one of my favorite spots, some days I even go 3 times in the same day!

Fantastic experience: This studio has a good variety of classes that will challenge you to continuously improve. I happen to go more during the "off" hours so I have always had the pod to myself which is awesome. It definitely gives you that boutique gym vibe without the boutique prices. Love it!!!

Fantastic experience: Great community to be apart of and welcoming owners, although this type of gym set up is one you can come and go with and not have to interact with people if not wanted, every time I have come in either the workers or just other members always have a smile or say hi and how great they feel. If you haven't tried yet take advantage of the free try for your first visit and fall in love! I mean who can complain about shorter workout times...
Fantastic experience: If you are looking for an awesome workout with a great group, this is absolutely the place to go to. I have tried several different gyms/workouts (kickboxing studios, cycling gyms, etc) in Colorado and this is by far my favorite. Not only is the workout exactly what I hoped for, but the people who work at and own the studio make it what it is. They are warm, kind, professional, and overall awesome people and make the workout more fun then work.
Fantastic experience: I’m very happy with Hotworx-Erie. I’m always greeted with a smile and encouraged to have a great workout. So far I’ve lost 10 pounds and am feeling more flexible (my two main goals). Drink lots of water and enjoy!

Fantastic experience: It has a boutique feel without the boutique price. The variety of workouts and equipment in the FX Zone help me stay motivated and the infrared energy has helped me lose weight without feeling sore every time. They offer a free introductory class, which was awesome.

Fantastic experience: Love this concept of a gym! I needed something convenient and efficient, as well as I desired variety. I was intrigued by the sauna method of working out but it is actually pretty incredible! Faster results and a greater exertion on body in less time. I love the scheduled appts and variety of classes offered 24/7. Definitely exactly what I need!

Fantastic experience: This is my first time doing “hot” workouts. It has changed me forever! It actually feels good when you start to sweat. I have noticed improvements to my skin as well as improved fitness level. I wish the videos changed more often, but I am nailing the workout now!
Negative experience: Franchise owners (husband and wife) are extra kind when selling memberships but nasty and unprofessional after you become a member! #baitnswitch I came to this particular location to work out with a friend as a guest for the day while I was visiting Erie — they had been telling me for years how much they love the concept of the private info-red heat workout rooms so I was excited to give HOTWORX a try. Concept is awesome! Service at the Erie location is below standard, unauthentic and aggressive. Certainly didn’t make a good first impression. My friend, one of the very first HOTWORX members in Colorado, was struggling with the front door code the day we went in, however I noticed that the two managing franchise owners saw us and didn’t acknowledge or offer to assist with the door but we made it in after some effort. Once we walked in, there was no greeting and the lack of attention continued (both had their heads buried behind their computers) so we carried on and my friend gave me an intro tour and showed how to use the equipment since it was my first time. She took a spin class and I used her branded personal mat and towel to stretch a bit. After our rejuvenating workout, we engaged with the two owners and inquired about the difference between info-red heat and light because we were curious and interested. Both of them barely acknowledged us still, as well as other members, and gave us the impression we were a nuisance so we quickly packed up and left. As we were closing the doors to our car, the female owner chased after us and yelled aggressively at my friend (member) with an accusatory tone “Did you just take my towel and mat?!” (Which she received a gift for being one of the first members years ago!) I was in shock of the accusation and attack. Why didn’t she ask us about the mat while we were inside minutes ago attempting to engage? Unacceptable. This is the kind of place that thinks running a business is unlocking doors and collecting money. I believe if the owners were meeting basic customer service expectations, she would have assisted with the door and would have seen their member carry her personal equipment in, as well as properly introduce me to the HotWorx concept as a first time customer. I even went in the next day to talk with them directly and share my frustration, and even then, they were aggressive and told me there was no place to escalate my complaint. Dishonest. My friend shared that the Erie club has never been welcoming and consistently underperforms, and strongly believes it’s because her membership belongs to her original home club HOTWORX in Highlands Ranch, where she is beyond satisfied with her experience and Tatiana, the owner of that club. We highly recommend that location!
Hi thank you for your visit, I’m so sorry that your experience was not up to standards. We as small business owners value a culture that feels like a family on every visit. I wish we could have had the chance to speak with you to help you with your concerns. However, our policy for guests to work out in our Infrared Fitness Studio were not met on this occasion.
Information for the future, all members sign a contract that states that when they bring a guest for a free session (including use a HOTWORX mat and towel) they are required to sign a liability waver prior to your session. That unfortunately did not take place. Safety for guests and members is Paramount! I have reviewed our security footage and a few violations of the members contract took place that day. Again, I wish we could have had a chance to address your concerns when you returned later that day. I would love the opportunity to speak with you and If needed I would be happy to send you a copy of the footage.
Our policy’s are there to ensure safety, allow you to have a mat and towel per person, use of our door code system is allows only valid members have access and so that guests understand infrared heat and how to workout without safety concerns.

Negative experience: Make sure you read the details of their contract, they are not very forthcoming with all of the information. It seems like whoever you talk to tells you something different about cost . They fail to mention before hand that you must use all of their equipment which they require you purchase from them.

I looked everywhere in your system and I can not find you anywhere as a guest or a member, are you sure you have the right location?
