Fantastic experience: Great place to work out Antonio and Keanna(sorry if I misspelled your name) and the rest of the staff are awesome they have great wellness training courses and its affordable.

Fantastic experience: Awesome staff!

Negative experience: Gym closed with no notice. Was working out on a Saturday and an hour after we left received a text that they are closing due to being unable to come to agreement with landlord. Text states for you to drive to gym in New Port Richey and no membership changes can be made. We have not been able to speak with anyone in regards to cancellation. Unprofessional!

Negative experience: Permanently closed. Two fitness centers in a row at this location butted heads with the landlord and skipped town.

Positive experience: Toured facility. Appears very clean with friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Negative experience: I joined 6/5 and paid $40 for my initial startup and membership fee just to get a text on 6/25 saying they were closed indefinitely because of a property dispute issue. Sent a message requesting a refund for a prorated amount since I wasn’t even a member for a full month but have yet to receive a response.

Negative experience: Would be nice to have more times/options for in person classes. Also, maybe some kind of other perks to make up for the Brooksville location not having all of the amenities as the other ones?

Positive experience: Great little gym, clean with friendly and helpful staff. Only suggestions I have is to be more proactive on keeping equipment in good condition and the sauna in the womens locker room. Its been out of order for as long as I've been coming to this gym. It would be more beneficial for customers if you just removed the sauna and installed stand up tanning beds. Money would be made back in no time and it would bring in more profit for the gym. Just an idea!

Fantastic experience: Friendly environment, respectful members. The gym is clean, if I had questions they were answered by the attendant. I'm glad I joined.

Negative experience: Would not cancel the personal training sessions. My husband had back surgery and had finished Physical Therapy. He was given a trainer that was supposed to have some experience but what they were doing was too much for him. He did 2 sessions, and attempted to cancel the sessions but they never did. I have records of multiple calls, plus my husband went in several times. Apparently the current manager at the time had left and they were without one. They finally stopped the charges, but than they started up again, months later. I called right after I saw the charge come through and was told the owner would call me back but never did. My husband went in a spoke to a new manager and he said he would take care of it. After 3 more charges and more calls we had to cancel our card to stop the charges.

Fantastic experience: A great gym with great equipment. Christian helped me sign up with ease and gave me plenty of advice to start with.

Fantastic experience: I recently joined Family Fitness and have loved the experience. The classes taught by Catrina are uplifting and fun! Christian, has been my trainer and he is so engaging! My son and I both work with him and he keeps our sessions varied and interactive. He is conscientious about where we are physically and pushes us to our limits, but never beyond. Love this team and we are so blessed to have their support on our wellness journey!

Positive experience: Ok place. Could use a little work. Machines work well. Cloth sofas make me feel a little icky about sitting on them with all the sweaty folks there. But the tables and stools are usually piled with employees and their stuff. Reasonable pricing.

Negative experience: I have honestly never felt less like family at a gym. The first child care lady at the gym was swearing at her boyfriend in front of my kids while watching them. This was the first issue. She was let go of, I’ll give them that. Going forward I was charged 100 bucks twice without approving. The first time they refunded rather quickly. This time, the lady was rude about it and informed me I may not even get it back. I called today and spoke with a manager and was informed that they will look at the messages between my trainer and I and decide whether or not they will refund me. I haven’t been there in a month and randomly got charged for training yesterday. Why on earth would they not refund me if they aren’t providing the service? That’s bad business. I provided the messages showing where my trainer said the first week of December would be the last payment. There is no good reason I should be waiting to get my money back. This Is unacceptable. Not friendly or caring to their customers and the manager was rude answering the phone just like the lady yesterday. I will not recommend them to friends and family going forward. I just received an email stating they refunded me. Still an extremely stressful ordeal and not handled kindly or professionally. Will be canceling my entire account. I want to add that an owner responded to my review saying they were sorry and would personally reach out to me. It’s been a month and I never heard from them I don’t think it would have changed me wanting to cancel my account, however it may have changed my review and overall thoughts on their lack of good communication.

Fantastic experience: I recently joined Family Fitness Centers in Brooksville and staff members (Antonio, Dustin, and Kiana) have been very helpful, and knowledgeable. As a personal trainer having experience in fitness centers, I appreciate the quality and variety of weight-training equipment/cardio machines, the flexible 24/7 hours, and the friendly welcome from other members.

Fantastic experience: Everyone at this gym is extremely friendly and willing to help improve your workout. Classes, drinks, sauna, good people, 24 hour access, solid pricing...Shout out to Brennen for your continued help! 5 star gym for getting work done

Negative experience: This gym is disgusting. Terrible customer service. When you think you’re getting a good price, you’re not. This gym is a joke. The equipment is so old and nasty. It is never working and always dirty. The sauna has been down for 6 months now.

Fantastic experience: So I just recently joined after a friend of mine and also an employee here recommended I switch gyms. So far it has been a great experience and I am loving my workouts with Montana. It’s very welcoming. They have a great variety of equipment and it’s overall a great gym. I definitely recommend Family Fitness, I'm so glad I switched!!!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this gym. The staff is amazing. I originally went to another gym who didn't offer a free trial. Family fitness give me a 10 day trial for free. I fell in love with it. I would highly recommend it as they have modern equipment, it's not overcrowded, in the personal trainers know exactly what they're talking about. If you're looking for A gym definitely give this place a shot.

Fantastic experience: Great place to work out. Plenty of room and a good variety of equipment. Memberships are very reasonable and the place is kept well by the friendly staff. I highly recommend Family Fitness.

Fantastic experience: The Facility is open 24/7, is clean, well maintained, and most of the staff is attentive and willing to help. Their mid range plan includes most of the yoga and different types of cross fit classes. I was choosing between Family Fitness and Planet Fitness. I chose Family Fitness because I enjoy doing my cardio in a group setting and the instructors here are all very experienced and give excellent classes.

Fantastic experience: Loving my workouts with Antonio! All around great environment and love the atmosphere. It's a little bigger than the gyms I typically go for, but it doesn't feel it. Everyone knows you and makes you feel welcome.

Fantastic experience: Do yourself a favor and sign up! This has hands down been the best decision, and the best investment in myself I have ever made. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the facilities are always clean, and the opportunities to take a class are essentially endless. To top it all off it is one of the most judgement free places I have even seen! If you get the chance I highly recommend looking into training sessions as the personal training staff is top notch. Terry, Kiana, Antonio, and Montana all know their stuff and actually spend the time to get to know you and make sure you get exactly what you are looking for in a training session. Never any pressure to sign up for training sessions but I highly recommend everyone, take advantage of the sit down they offer with any one of them. Terry has always been happy to answer any questions about work outs, nutrition, and provide any advice he can about how to get, or stay in shape as well as putting together some of the best work outs I have ever participated in. Montana will plan a workout and will NOT let you quit on yourself, while making sure you are safe the entire time. Antonio, is incredibly friendly and knows just how to plan and make sure the workout is suited specifically for you. Kiana's knowledge and expertise in the world of physical therapy is vast and seems unending. For anyone with physical limitations she is incredible. Geoff and Tara at the front desk, are always friendly and welcoming, as well as knowledgeable, and always happy to give a tour of the gym and answer any questions you may have about joining. The child care staff is amazing and adds another reason why this gym is far in a way better than anything you can find in the area. If your someone interested in spin, yoga, body pump or almost any other class you can think of, they got it! The instructors are amazing and manage to make sure no one is left behind or outside of there comfort zone, all while making sure you are getting in an incredible work out. Add to the fact that you can come and go whenever you have the time because of the 24 hours access and I could never see myself going to any other gym!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I are both in our 70's and after the past year of sitting home we lost a step. Contacted Family FItness and signed up for a personal trainer twice a week. Going into our second month and everything has exceeded our expectations. Trainers are professional, prepared for us at each visit, and driven, but very easy to be friendly with. All of the staff we met has a "can do" spirit. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: This is the best gym in hernando county. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. This gym has great equipment and offers a ton of classes. I am able to bring my child to their child care area and get a great workout in. 10/10 Best Gym Around!

Fantastic experience: I visited several of the gyms in the area and decided on Family Fitness Centers because of the staff. Everyone has been kind and professional and really seem to care about their customers.

Negative experience: The contract is a nightmare, I tried to cancel but they want to charge to do that. I paid several months before that without going, and they were not understanding at all. After changing my card, they still charged me. They are Over persistent about making you pay, using underhanded methods , when you’re not even going and they know. Horrible, given the circumstances they should allow people to cancel before the contract. Especially if you’ve already paid unused months. Despicable

Negative experience: Was revoked over a verbal altercation with a man who threatened my son and me. We were not called for a statement, and the decision was made based off of several employees that got involved after the reason for the altercation. There was definitely a lack of communication with all parties even the gentleman that was involved on the other side and based on half stories even though my son was intimidated and I was threatened with my life. This was unprofessional since they based it off of video and late eyewitness accounts to why a father would be so angry. I don’t go looking for trouble and this has been my first problem at a gym ever. However this Ike was mismanaged from the top. No second chances, no truth searching and definitely using highly opinionated biased statements to remove good people. I would strongly think twice about going here since the gym has a favor towards certain people and will not listen to you if you ever have an issue. We are considering speaking with corporate on this issue. Again buyer beware. We used to think these folks had our best interest in mind and had great relationships. They were apparently fake.

Negative experience: A day care staff member made an absolute false accusation against me regarding my kids, my kids had to be interviewed by child services 2x, how can a trusted daycare member make such an apparent false allegation and management won’t intervene. I informed the manager, called to speak to the owner who won’t return my calls??? I would never bring my kids there ever again and neither should anyone!!!!

Positive experience: It's clean and offers some classes...but unless you like the machines and or spin...its not great

The people at the front desk were super friendly and excited that I wanted to check out the gym. Jared, gave me a tour and even helped entertain my kids since they didn’t want to go into the daycare at first. As a mom that’s the best thing anyone could do. I haven’t felt that welcomed at a gym, pretty sure ever, so I knew I needed to join. A few months later and I’m still loving it. I now go daily and do personal training sessions with Jared. I haven’t felt this good with my body in a really long time. The sessions really target what my goals are and I’m seeing the results I want. My kids also love the daycare. Everyday they leave with a fun art project they made and even get sad if I have to skip a day. This gym really lives up to its name because they truly treat you like family!

Fantastic experience: UPDATE.. Please read until the end. Spacious, large selection of cardio machines, could easily accommodate 50 people and still be within safe social distancing. Clean bathrooms, and facility. Could use a few more paper towel dispensers throughout the building. I was using the Smith machine and had to walk practically across the gym in order to retrieve equipment cleaning materials. Although not required in Florida, a potential life saving AED would highlight “Family” in Family Fitness. In fairness to the facility, I did not spend time looking for the apparatus, therefore it very well may be present. Today was my first day of the ten day free membership. Upon entering the facility I checked in and was greeted by the employee behind the desk more interested in chatting with a friend than suggesting a tour of the facility. Lost opportunity to acquaint myself with areas of interest; I.e. location of AED. Upon registration completion I was not ask for questions or given guidance. Employee was much more interested in returning to his conversation with their friend standing along side of the desk. Overall I’d give my experience a 3-5 stars. UPDATE! Upon reading my review, Jared who is part of the Family Fitness management team personally called to discuss my review. A true leader concerned and determined to address today’s visit. His genuine interests and desire to correct my issues were made evident during our conversation. Reaching out and “going the extra mile,” for me spoke volumes about his professionalism. The epitome of Customer service.

Fantastic experience: a great gym to work for and to work out at top of the line staff and management who care about their workers and members even though I no longer work here I highly recommend this gym as a place of of both employment and fitness they supported me both on my way to my fitness goals and career goals 5 out of 5 stars

Fantastic experience: Contacted the General Manager Jared and was immediately impressed with the level of professionalism and respect. We were able to set up a meeting the following morning to go over pricing and walk through the gym. When I got there the gym was very clean and had all new equipment. Jared had great pricing and I was very pleased to here he’s a huge supporter of first responders. Will be going to this gym for years to come and will highly recommend to anyone wanting a clean environment with a great selection of equipment.

Fantastic experience: I used to go to this location when it was Gold's. Looks pretty much the same as it did then - really great equipment, lots of machines. Clean facilities and the staff is SO nice and genuine. I had a really positive experience here and can't wait to go back
