Fantastic experience: Friendly, new lockers and shower rooms, heated small pool. I aM thankful for every day I am able to be there. Bright energ etic atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: This is the best location in my opinion. I have been to several! My wife is an employee at another branch and we both worked at this location some years back before the remodel in 2009 or so. I love the amount of space, options, and overall layout of this site. Great location.

Fantastic experience: I go to classes at this location several times a week. The classes are excellent, with energetic and professional instructors providing top level workouts.

Fantastic experience: Overall a great gym. This was my very first gym about 8 years ago, where I got a membership just for the summer before college. Here I am 8 years later, moved back to Milwaukee, and decided to make this my home gym again. Other gyms I've used in the area are Planet Fitness and Gold's Gym. This place is very clean, and very quiet. The gym has more cardio equipment than weights, so if your focus is on weights you might get frustrated with the lack of room/equipment. I do wish they would get at least one more weight bench; I think they only have like 2 that go all the way down so if you go at a busier time, they're always in use. Staff is friendly and everything seems well maintained. No machines sitting broken for days on end.

Fantastic experience: Very happy with my workouts. I only use the equipment on the main floor, not the free weights downstairs. Staff are very friendly. The building is over 50 years old but is well maintained.

Fantastic experience: Love the YMCA, been going there for about 40 years. I started out when the central branch was downtown Milwaukee on Wisconsin Avenue, it was a life changing experience for me, and I continue to visit the West Suburban Branch. I have been a life guard and made many friends here, and acquaintances, lots of great talks with fellow life guards!

Fantastic experience: The staff is wonderful. The programs are age appropriate for children. The teachers are great with kids. The facility is very clean and well-maintained.

Fantastic experience: I have a good time working out with several friends I have made since I joined. It makes you work a little longer & harder. Also have made friends with the some of the staff.

Positive experience: The only draw-back is that they could use 1 more bathroom. Other than that I visit the Y 3-4 times a week, great atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Joined this gym January 2021 and I’m enjoying the YMCA experience. Very friendly staff and the facilities are all well kept and clean.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful if you use it. Built in 1971 it is pretty standard but offers all the standard equipment. Opens at 5 am weekdays. Hope to see you there

Fantastic experience: I love ymca. Ymca is a lot of fun. Ymca is a swim place. It is so fun I can hardly believe. My opinion is that I think it is the best swim place in town. One time I swam so far my swim teacher had to stop me! Ymca is not far. Ymca may be expensive but trust me it's worth a try. At Ymca there is a little pool. It is hot and fun. Don't be scared there are life guards to watch you if you are scared. Some of the things that I like about Ymca is that there is a pool that I can practice and another thing that I like about swim lessons is that I can swim. Ymca is so fun I can hardly believe. Ymca doesn't do swim lessons one at a time it does five or more. It is more fun with a lot of kids. You were suits and you bring goggles to. Ymca has swim teachers so they can help you learn to swim and teachers write things down so when the kids are done your teachers give your moms and dads the paper. It shows what your good at and what you need to Keep working on. I hope you like my review and I hope you go to Ymca some day. H.B,

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here for almost a year now and the people here are very nice. The workout equipment is very good and I never really have to wait for a machine. The classes here are also very fun. I would recommend this gym to anyone who wants a lot of good equipment and people who don’t judge you.

Fantastic experience: The variety of sports programs for kids is amazing! My kids have taken gymnastics, tennis, running and swimming, and it's been such a wonderful experience. There are a lot of gyms in the area to choose from, but what sets the YMCA apart is the excellent and varied children's programming.

Fantastic experience: Clean gym, friendly helpful staff, nice amenities. All updated workout machines. Even a non-gym person like me is tempted to keep on coming.

Fantastic experience: My friends and I were suffering from the winter blues and decided to join. So far it has been wonderful and the staff has been super friendly. Jeanne gave us a tour and was absolutely wonderful. So far so good, and it is definitely a reasonable cost compared to other gyms we have looked at. We also took a few of the classes included with our membership and love it. The only problem we have had is a technical error with the lockers not reading our cards properly, which the staff member assisted us with. Hopefully they fix this soon, but other than that its a very nice place!

Fantastic experience: Facility is clean and up to date with latest renovations and new equipment but it is so much more than just a health club. Safe and family friendly environment where all are welcome. Check it out!
