Positive experience: Not sure why this gym gets such bad reviews. There’s a ton of equipment and they seem to keep it all up and running. They are missing some basic equipment for shoulder day.

Negative experience: I'm a legitimate gym rat and was excited about leaving planet fitness to go over to Xperience. I thought I would get better equipment with a steam room and pool. Well let me me just say this is the worse gym in Milwaukee. It's always dirty, staff is rude and never cleans. Bathroom is disgusting and the roof leaks. Equipment is never racked and the fees are super high. For what we pay you would think they would take some pride in their gym. Management does not care either I have complained repeatedly and nothing has changed. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY COMING TO THIS GYM!!! I am going back to planet fitness where they are always cleaning every day and they speak to you every time they see you. Worse gym in the world I would give it Negative 5 stars if I could

Negative experience: Increased their price by 40 dollars. I canceled last year when I was paying 9.99 due to health reasons. I came back this year to sign up, only to find out that its 20 dollars plus 2.99 of fees every two weeks. On top of that, I canceled the same day that I opened the account, the beginning of March because when I was emailed my contract , there were fees on there that I was not aware of , like the price change.Still haven’t got a refund. The guy at the club is clueless and stated ,You should’ve only been charged 1 dollars at sign up. Yes, I shouldve but I wasnt. No, you all charged me for 2 weeks plus all of these other fees. He kept claiming he couldnt see that in their system. The corporate office takes their sweet time processing refunds back to people,they keep telling me to wait so and so days, just refund me my money that I wasn’t supposed to have been charged anyways! At this point its a dispute charge considering their 3 day money back policy. Never will recommend this place, everyone is clueless.This place is so unprofessional its literally laughable.

The continued impact of inflation goes on and on, making the status quo for many small businesses such as ours no longer sustainable.
We have fought hard to try to shield our members from price increases by absorbing all of the additional costs and the revenue lost due to the pandemic and temporary closure and restrictions placed on our business. The simple truth is, we can no longer absorb the additional expenses required to run an effective fitness center.
In the end, our choice was between eliminating jobs that our team and their families rely on, eliminating services that our members rely on, or raising membership rates. In that light, the choice became obvious. We need to increase our rates, save the jobs of our team members, and keep delivering all of the classes, childcare, swimming pools, tanning, and personal training that our members have enjoyed at Xperience Fitness all of these years. Positive experience: Good gym, affordable price, and good customer service in general. The only problem I had was somebody broke into my locker, opened my backpack, and took all cash in my wallet back in May 2022. The other guy reported the same problem to the front desk several minutes after this happened to me. So, just make sure to take all your important stuff with you all the time. Other than that, it’s a good place to exercise. I’m still going here

Negative experience: I joined in May of 2022. It was an okay and good-sized gym for the price. Unfortunately, since then, machines' quality and cleanliness have gotten progressively worse, along with their prices going up in November by $10. There was no warning for this price increase either. Because of that price increase and the lack of attention to the machines, this gym is no longer worth the price. There have been cable attachments missing for months, and the paper towels are out most of the time, so you can't clean off your equipment. Their roof has been leaking for months, which they aren't fixing. Instead, they just throw buckets everywhere to catch the leaks. Most people don't re-rack their weights, so there are dumbbells scattered everywhere. The only thing I enjoyed about Xperience was the group fitness classes and relatively low prices initially. I can now spend only $8 more per month for a membership at the Y, which is a much nicer gym.

Negative experience: Post pandemic this gym has been so disappointing. There are so few classes left and classes are often cancelled but still listed on the schedule. When you ask or call for information no one seems to know anything.

Negative experience: The showers are not cleaned. The bathroom sinks are disgusting and the bathroom smells terrible. Multiple times toilet paper has been out. There is no towel service. Weights are NEVER re-racked by customers, and staff does not walk around and put things away. There is a lack of bar clips to hold the weights on. The pull down equipment is fraying and is dangerous to use. The AC felt like it was never on, making the workout less enjoyable. Recently, the roof has been leaking for the past few months, and they have done nothing about it other than leave buckets in the middle of the weight lifting floor. This place is disgusting and I have already cancelled my membership and am going to a different gym.

Negative experience: DO NOT JOIN, unless you want horrible customer service and incorrect bills sent to you. They will send you to collection for nothing more than $87 and no warning. Frankly just inconceivable that a place that prides itself on "Great Service" would without notice try to pull a fast one on you and get lawyers involved again for $80. Save yourself the headaches and troubles and just find another gym, planet fitness, lifetime are great options with better service.

Negative experience: The absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. If I could give them a 0 I would. Wrongly charged on multiple occasions, told by one person I was clear then sent multiple wrong bills. Not only that but everyone just points fingers and nothings gets done, went to try to get things figured out and no one was at the front desk or in the ENTIRE gym, waited for almost an hour with no representatives present at gym before I eventually left . Horrible, if you can go to another gym please do.

Negative experience: I called and made an appointment with Anthony this morning 4/1, to receive a tour of the gym as I was considering joining. I also was interested in a 7 day trial membership to see if I even like the gym before fully committing. My appointment was at 12 noon, I arrived on time and waited 40 minutes without Anthony showing up. The other gym workers did nothing to assist me as I felt was extremely unprofessional. I finally let and wanted everyone w to k ow that their 7 day trial is a gimmick in addition to receiving assistance is not heard of. Go to planet fitness as they care and will not have you waiting more than 1 min without assisting you

Positive experience: Xperience Fitness is by far the best gym based on budget, quality, and environment. Tons of friendly people and they have so much equipment. The only downside are the hours, as I'd prefer to go to the gym when they're closed. Worth it.

Positive experience: Overall I love the vibe and the gym itself but the staff seem lazy and the locker rooms are atrocious, like not clean at all! Planet fitness definitely beats them there and I’m probably considering switching over because of that!

Negative experience: ⚠️ WARNING ⚠️, don't leave valuable belongings in locker(s) there are thieves that will come in pretend to exercise but then again nobody in the facility do not check in bag(s) at the entrance. One incident happened last year, while I was exercising, my was broken into stole only CASH, credit cards and keys, I still have. These thieves are still on the loose, they travel to different gyms from time after time, doing the same routine.

Fantastic experience: I love the classes at Xperience. I really have had the best experience at this gym. The classes are excellent and the staff is always creating new programs to keep its clients fit! The staff is also very friendly and especially Angela is very kind, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Negative experience: Gym is fine for the price... My main issue is recently I had the lock cut off my locker twice in 3 weeks. One of the two times I had a substantial amount of cash taken. When I brought it up for the second time one of the employees up front said the general manager would be in touch to discuss. A few days go by, don't hear anything, bring it up again when I'm in there again. This time the employee left another note with my contact information. More times goes by... I call over there, leave another message for him. It has now been well over 2 weeks and I still have yet to hear from them. I realize that Xperience does not have control of who comes in and out the door... but would've appreciated some feedback from management on something / anything being done about it. I read through some other reviews where they mentioned similar issues with theft. The response to those are apparently 'more locker room walk-throughs'...but at least they got responses.

Positive experience: It’s a nice gym. I love that there is a pool and so happy to see that face diapers are not required. At least they know that masks don’t work and not giving into the sheep , but they need to be open 24hours. Especially since every other competitor is. I very rarely ever use my membership because I can only go late at night but since they close at 11pm I can’t go. All they need to do is be open 5 more hours to make it work. Even though Lifetime and Princeton Club are more expensive, I am leaning towards going there since they have the amenities I want and I can go during the hours I need to.

Fantastic experience: Gym is massive and no matter how many people are working out there will be equipment open to use. Pool length is 25m and saltwater. Workers are nice and things are pretty clean

Fantastic experience: Prices are reasonable and the facility itself is sweet. The free weight section is so much fun, my old gym had nothing comparable. Locker room is set up in an interesting way, and they have separate rooms for classes. They even have a pool!

Negative experience: My 2nd day workout there someone cut off my locker and steal my stuff. Bunch of Africa’s American thefts there. Especially in the men bathroom locker room.

Negative experience: İ need to find a new gym. The quality of this gym has gone downhill significantly. İ had a membership here years ago so when i moved back to Milwaukee, i wanted to come back here. But it's been terrible. There have been times when I've tried to get help at the front desk and there's absolutely nobody to help me. You can try calling and still no answer. And there have been other times when there's ten people behind the front desk, and when you have a question, most people just say, "idk." Not even, "idk but let me find someone who does." Or they just default to saying "we don't have this" when in fact, they do. İt's frustrating. Not going to call them on the phone anymore either bc sometimes they can be rude on the phone with abruptly hanging up on you. İ know covid has hit many businesses with the quality of workers, but i think I'll just find a better gym, even if that means paying a little bit more monthly.

Positive experience: It's a fine gym. Nothing to really cheer about. It is relatively clean. They have all the equipment you could want. I don't usually have to wait for equipment except for dumbells. The roof must be a mess because you end up with a river in the locker room when it rains. Other than that, the staff is pleasant.

Negative experience: I am incredibly disappointed to have to be writing this review. Xperience Fitness has been my gym for the past four years now. I have appreciated a lot that the gym has to offer. The startup cost, the monthly fee, the hours, and the amount of equipment are all serviceable. However, there is one fatal flaw. I have found the customer service to be absolutely horrendous. After discovering that I had been fraudulently charged over $800 over the course of several months, I reached out to my local gym here in Brookfield. It was incredibly difficult to get through to the gym manager, Tony Yera. When I did finally get in touch with him, there seemed to be no urgency, little effort, and little care even though hundreds and hundreds of my dollars were in jeopardy. Finally, I got in touch with Zack S. at corporate who immediately offered his assistance. Unfortunately, that assistance has not paid off. Here I am THREE MONTHS after discovering these fraudulent charges and although I've been promised that I would receive my refund by 4/15/21, I have received nothing. What's more, is that I am now being "ghosted" by Zack, who was at first helpful, and I cannot get a hold of anyone at corporate to help me solve this predicament. TLDR: Xperience Fitness made a mistake and owes me over $800. Their customer service has been abysmal, I've been lied to and led on, and after three months of struggle, I have still not received my promised refund.
Negative experience: Inconsistent billing practices. Has been overcharging me since I joined with a new excuse every single month. They lie to your face to get you to go away. They make used car salesmen look honest. But the location is good, else I’d give zero stars.

Negative experience: Just went for a visit after nearly a year away. No staff doing rounds and about half of those there were not wearing masks. I only went back because I've got the vax but its lax requirements that are keeping this pandemic going. I think it might be time to find a more responsible gym.

Negative experience: Charged me for the annual membership fee and then immediately charged me a service charge and late fees because they claimed they had issues charging my card. After I requested to cancel my membership due to these bogus charges, they charged my card again for the month. ~$70 in charges in 2021 so far without even being able to step into the gym. Been a member for several years - the least they could have done would be to help me straighten out the card issue instead of immediately charging bogus late fees and service charges. Very unprofessional

Negative experience: The sign says everyone must wear a mask but few do and the staff does NOTHING but make excuses. They say anyone can fill out a waiver but they don’t require it so if you have any concerns, you’re told not to attend (while the mask-less are welcome.)

Negative experience: Not happy with the fact that the Brookfield location keeps limiting their hours. Some people have to work all day and have activity with their kids at night during the week so their only time to work out is early in the morning. 5am is not an acceptable time to open during the week. It needs to be earlier. Also with COVID, restricting hours means more people in the gym at the same time. SMH

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love the classes, like yoga and aqua zumba. Perfect for people wanted to expand their horizons for workouts. The instructors are wonderful. There is a lot of equipment so you have many choices for workouts as well.

Negative experience: Froze my account due to COVID. XF continued to charge my account. I've been unable to get in contact with someone in months. Now I am receiving emails that I owe money before I can unfreeze my account? I still haven't been able to speak to anyone. No one has returned my calls or emails! Leaving a number that doesn't return call isn't very helpful. My account was charged $10 in addition to the annual fee and no one was available to tell me why. Now I owe over $130. BIGGEST SCAM EVER! FOLLOW UP- Come to find out my daughters kids club was never froze along with mine when I sent the email months ago. Therefore her account was charged in ERROR. I made many attempts to speak to someone and no one has ever returned my calls since. In result, I contacted my bank to stop all payments. Now that I attempting to unfreeze our accounts it can’t be done due to a balance owed on her account. I stopped into the Brookfield location 10/5/20 and Tony was absolutely NO help. He visibly sat at is desk relaying messages back in forth thru an associate. In fact, He refused to call "Zachary" his manager stating that he needed to train a new hire instead. Nobody in charge can resolve this ongoing issue. VERY POOR AND PATHETIC MANAGEMENT Maybe the Response from the owner is an actual person that can help

Negative experience: Today I cancelled my membership because Megan aka Karen was all in my business about my friend and I working out together. She lied and told her manager MARK that he'd been training me for weeks which was not true. I've only been to the gym twice with him. So the issue is that they saying he can't train me OK cool. Me and my friend were there for an hour and Mark said he'd been watching me train for 10 minutes. Not knowing we've had worked out together already. Anyway I've never seen a policy there saying NO Freelance training but I have seen other members helping/training at that location with no issues. Megan aka Karen is being a hater & leaves her clients (that's paying her ) unattended to be in other peoples business & I don't recommend this location if you like working out with friends. OH!! Then Mark said we can't do that because I can get hurt and blame the gym but if I'm working out by myself and I get hurt then what? Overall bad experience and we both were paying members with our own membership. Go somewhere else where your not harassed by the staff for WORKING OUT!

Positive experience: what is happening to my gym? machines that don't work, paper towels that won't tear off, limited cleaning, TVs that don't work. spectrum gets free advertising at the gym but also is advertising their poor service as many of the TVs don't work or play the same programs. Captioning hasn't been present in over a year.

Fantastic experience: Very clean facility, friendly knowledgeable staff and patrons.
Negative experience: I went in to setup a new membership at the one off of 70th greenfield. the girl at the front desk was acting like she was scared to talk. I told her I would like to apply for a new membership she had me sign in and I was waiting to be seen. I waited about five minutes she said she called back there but no one was answering the phone but I can leave my name and number and someone to sign me up over the phone. I said I would like to talk to someone so I waited about another five minutes there were people sitting over by the desk she walked over there but didn’t say anything to anybody and walk back to the front desk and just stood there. So finally I got tired of waiting and said I will go somewhere else. Would like to sign up because it close to my house but first impression was really bad.

Fantastic experience: Been a member here since they opened. Even had a personal trainer that could handle a MAJOR couch potato...LOL
Positive experience: It's worth what you pay! There's a certain type of gym you get for $10-20 a month. It's a great gym if you're a beginner or average gym goer, however if you're an avid gym user you find things like the pull-up bars are terrible, the good rowers you can't use unless you pay an extra 90 a month for their classes, and the good kettlebells and TRX are only in the training areas. If you just want to do cardio and or lift it's great. One really big positive: If you are into Olympic lifts; clean/snatch ECT. they have 2 platforms with bumper plates which is awesome!

Positive experience: I’ve been working out here for 4 weeks at the Brookfield location on 124th and Capitol. Here are my impressions: I’ve never had an issue with it being too busy and being able to do what I need to, even when coming during the busy time between 4 and 6. Sometimes the free weights and barbells get filled but it’s usually a short wait. It’s always clean in both the workout center and in the locker room. Kids Club: this is an awesome service and is very reasonably priced at $10/month. I’ve been happy with the workers, they seem interactive and genuine with the kids. However, I do have some safety concerns. And these apply mostly to children under 3. First of all, they do not make sure you check your key fob in when dropping off your children. Also when picking them up, they have a very casual pick-up safety policy. They keep the same workers on the entire shift so that they remember who picks up and who drops off. It happened once that I dropped off my kid with one worker and pick them up with another, but it could have been the other worker was gone for a moment. However humans make errors and I think it would be easy to implement a simple number-match-check-in system to reduce chance for error. My church nursery has better security. The longer I attend there the more they will recognize me and my kid, but it’s not reassuring for the newcomer.
Negative experience: Do NOT join because "corporate" makes it impossible to cancel membership and never stop charging your credit card = you'll need to cancel & change your credit card to stop their dishonest and unethical behaviour. Simply, NOT worth it, despite the low monthly membership

Negative experience: The gym itself seems fine, but they have a MAJOR THEFT PROBLEM in the locker rooms. Today was my first day at this gym and my lock (which I bought just today) was clipped while working out, and my cash stolen out of my wallet from my locker. We filed a police report and the officer said this was the 4th time they had been called there in the last two weeks for locker room theft. Don't trust your belongings in this place!

Negative experience: The music is so loud it's almost obnoxious. I cant hear my own music over my head phones. Given that 90% of the people wear headphones, they have to feel the same and are not listening to the music. And the bathrooms today were super dirty.

Positive experience: First impression. Good facility, staff didn’t introduce themselves or give a thorough tour and explanation of services offered. Minor cleanliness issues, but they enforced the policy of wearing shoes which was encouraging.

Fantastic experience: I Absolutely Love this gym, the staff are friendly and very respectful. The team that welcomed me in, Mike, Alyssa and Madison. Mike signed me up excellent personality friendly and he showed me around the place, told me about the great deals. Alyssa is a awesome coach, she gave me a deal I couldn’t say no to, I love her classes very intense. Madison is always so friendly when she welcomes me coming and going. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly. I thank my son Uriah/Fred for introducing me to this perfect for me gym.

Fantastic experience: I walked in without a appointment scheduled and they were so kind about it, they had me fill out a form and wait just a bit till someone could help me with my membership set up. The process was quick easy and everyone was very understanding and informative. The gym is clean, friendly and surprisingly smells fresh! I’m so excited to be a member of xperience and to start this year off the right way!

Fantastic experience: I have been a member since last 4 years and its an awesome gym with fantastic instructors and helpful staff. I had an amazing experience today morning with Michael B .who helped my husband join the gym hassel free and all the paperwork done so efficiently and promptly. Was very impressed by the work ethics of Michael who also answered and solved my quarries politely and efficiently.

Negative experience: Sadly, I had to leave this gym after a horrible few interactions with their lead Q instructor, Alyssa Christianson. Prior, I had been a member for 6 years. I couldn’t believe how unprofessional and straight out rude she was when asking questions about Q. Another trainer at that location actually came up to me afterwards and apologized for her behavior. Would not recommend joining Q at this location.

Positive experience: Has everything I want in a gym but could be a lot cleaner. Other gyms at this price point seem to have better up keep. Weights are scattered all over gym with no one showing respect for the equipment.
