Junior Olympic Gymnastics

Fantastic experience: We had our daughters birthday party here. Mia takes lessons here, so she was really excited for some of her friends to be able to come. These coaches were just phenomenal with the kids. They had them warm up and then played a few games, an obstacle course, and then just free time. The kids worked up an appetite for sure! I was running behind, but they had the table all set up with a cover, plates, and napkis! They even helped me serve the pizza and cake as well. Thank you for making this such a great day for my girls!

Fantastic experience: We love Junior Olympic Gymnastics. Both my kids started there for preschool and gymnastics and now my daughter is participating on the team gymnastics. All the coaches are so kind and caring with the girls! All staff are very organized and professional. The facility is always kept exceptionally clean. We have been very pleased with Junior Olympic Gymnastics!

Negative experience: This place is a MESS!!! Saturdays are very unorganized and there seems to be different clueless coaches each week. There are way too many classes going on at once with too many kids in each class to the point where the gym is dangerous overcrowded. It’s both stressful and chaotic seeing all those kids and parents enter simultaneously. The kids don’t know who their coach of the day is but what’s worst is that the coaches don’t even know which kids are in their group. On top that, while I completely understand that working with kids can be a difficult challenge, the coaches look extremely unhappy and visibly show that they don’t want to be working there. Now the training, that’s a whole separate disaster! I’m not even going to get into everything wrong with the training because I’d go on and on but let’s just say, the training is subpar at best. The worst part though, is by far the facility. The equipment is ridiculously falling apart. There is duck tape holding together the floor, some mats directly in front of the window, and even the bars! The floor is lifting and there are mats with holes in them. I’m sure there’s more going on but it can’t be seen from the lobby area. The place is also extremely filthy looking. There are just so many things wrong! Don’t waste your time and money here. They collect fees without providing decent training or a safe/well maintained environment! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Positive experience: Overall we enjoy coming here for classes. Good location & clean. Girls are friendly and my little is always excited to tell us about class. A few things to note is that in order for my daughter to “move up” a level I had to ask to have her tested after months of the same stuff. We like to sign up for the kids night out stuff too but think it would be nice if they sent out an email or called if needing to cancel due to not enough sign ups.

Negative experience: This place is a disaster!!! No one knows anyone or anything! It’s so frustrating to see how unorganized these coaches are, I understand they are kids themselves but it’s not acceptable!Very unprofessional and unorganized!!!! This place has worked for convenience of location but when these young coaches do not even notice or know their students name!! That’s a PROBLEM! Eliana shared that today was her first day meeting Genesis!!! She turned 4 last May and was told maybe she is in a new class Excuse me we have been doing this long enough, the lady Rachel they claimed could help me was nowhere to be found! Unacceptably sloppy all the way around!

Negative experience: My daughter loved going here and I let her enjoy it for the time being. However, it was repetitive. The “coaches” show them once what to do and let them be on their own. There was no guidance. The final straw for us was after five months of my daughter being here the staff didn’t know her name. She was marked absent because they didn’t know who she was. You’d think after five months they’d know all their kids names. The coaches need to learn how to be patient with the children. I saw and heard myself how the coaches spoke to my daughter. Please do better as these kids look forward to spending their hour here.

Negative experience: My husband and I had to our 3 year old enrolled in tiny tots. The class was not what I thought I had signed up for. The classes were mostly led by teenagers or young girls they would do an overall example on what to do at each station and then would expect the little ones to remember what to do, they stood there playing with their hair watching. Definitely NOT hands-on. So for three Saturdays in a row I watched my daughter just kind of stand there and not know what to do or just kind of make up her own moves, which was very disappointing. If you are looking for a gymnastics class that is hands on, and takes the time to show each child what to do throughout the class… this place is definitely not it. The facility was closed for spring break, after contacting the front desk they said to make up for the class that I could come to a Wednesday class… which does not work with our schedule, I asked to attend this Saturdays class 4/1 and was denied, they said only option was for Wednesday from 9:30-11:30. I do not recommend this place

Fantastic experience: JO is like family to us! Our kids have been at JO for more than 5 years. Our oldest daughter is on the competitive team. The level of training is superb, and the character development is a key component. We realized how much we love JO during the pandemic when we all had to step away for a few weeks. I also appreciate their focus on safety and an appreciation for gymnastics/life balance. Definitely worth a trial for any kid wanting to improve their gymnastics skills.

Fantastic experience: My daughter goes to Preschool and Gymnastics here and we absolutely love our teachers and coachs. I cant say enough good things about our experience at this facility. I'm sad we can't go kindergarten here next year.

Negative experience: Had my daughter enrolled here for a few months and decided to drop the classes. The coaches seem very uninterested in teaching. They never help the kids with form etc. They just play with their hair and watch the kids do their own thing. There is only one teacher ( with red hair) that seems great with the kids but she was with a different group. There are much better options in the area.

Fantastic experience: Super cool place me and my brother winter and we had a lot of fun the instructor is really nice to they have a lot of different equipment there and there is a foam pit which is a pretty nice foam pit there is a lots of different things to play on and we had a lot of fun the staff was very nice too and it’s very sanitary they make you wash your hands right before going in so no germs infect any of your kids so I totally recommend going to junior Olympics gymnastics there’s also different age groups my brother is one years old and he hast to go there and there’s also 6 to 18 they’re pretty nice to you also have to sign a waiver before going in but I think that’s just kids so they know that you have to be responsible with your kids so I would totally recommend

Fantastic experience: Great place to take the kids and have them learn structure, athletics, and fun! Very well ran organization with awesome teachers that take great care of the kids! Highly recommend Junior Olympics Gymnastics to any parent or child wanting to get involved in a great activity!

Negative experience: This place is very bad I would not recommend I went there and I could barely do a back walkover now I am somewhere else and I am learning my back tuck I went here for three years and I was not on a team but I come here and I got put on a team right away and I know so much more than I knew at my last place DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Love this place. Both our girls have gone here for preschool and gymnastics and I can't say enough good things about it. The staff is amazing and great with kids. My kids have grown so much with their help. Highly recommend at least checking it out.
