Powerhouse Gym Thornton

Fantastic experience: First of all, the staff is always cheerful and inviting. When I come in the mornings I see the staff members cleaning the equipment and I see a cleaning crew some nights when I come in late night. I usually never have to wait for any equipment no matter what time I come in. It is 24 hours and you can even have access on Thanksgiving or Christmas to work off those holiday meals. I have been in and out of gyms in this area for about 20 years and this one by far is the best. I only pay $25 a month and get unlimited access. For $25 you could get 5 cheeseburgers or a whole month of paying for your health. If you live in the North Metro suburbs, you NEED to sign up here before you waste your time with any other gyms!!

Fantastic experience: Great management and staff. They are always friendly and help you reach your fitness goals. The gym is very clean and the equipment is beautiful. One of the best gyms I have ever been to in the nation. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Recently had to cancel my membership due to moving. This was by far the best gym I've been to in the area while I lived around there. It's a smaller gym, but really has everything you need. The staff is supportive and helpful. 24 hr access as well, so it's easy to go during off peak hours. Even during peak hours, I never had to wait for equipment to open up. Highly recommend.

And I feel welcomed each and every day I come in. Some gyms it’s so easy to be judged and here I don’t feel that way. Everyone understands that you start somewhere in this journey.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym. 24 hour access, small community vibe, and a bunch of different equipment. They recently got a leg curl and lat raise machine that let you adjust where peak resistance is (beginning, end, etc.) and it's badass. Staff is friendly, good personal trainers, and the owner Jeff is actually involved in the day to day.

Positive experience: Great environment! They have many options for machines, free weights, and cable machines. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and open for conversation. The only downside is they don't have additional amenities such as sauna, hot tub, pool etc but it truly is the place to go if you are serious or wanting to become serious about your fitness journey!

Fantastic experience: I'll initially gave 1 star because the contract was a little hectic to cancel however Steve (local manager) understood my issue, and he went above and beyond to assist me. Great customer service, well maintained gym and equipment, not crowded, I definitely recommend this gym. I would go here again when I can!

Fantastic experience: Compared to some of the other gyms that I have been in, this gym is a GEM! In all honesty, this place is very clean and organized. The music played is nice so if you forgot your music at home, their music will do. The equipment looks VERY WELL taken care of. On a stressful day for me, this place is open for members 24/7 so I can come in at like 1AM with my member card, swipe, then there I am in work-out mode to de-stress. Did I mention clean? Most people that work outs here seems very respectful of the rules so I am definitely glad. The staff here are friendly and professional. Definitely give this place a try :)

Fantastic experience: This gym is top tier!!! The gym is always sanitized, and perhaps even that word is underselling it; it is immaculate. You'll be able to tell from the moment you walk in that the staff really cares about everyone and invests into them. There is a great vibe inside and everyone that goes there is respectable and upbeat. Love this place!!

Fantastic experience: Came in because it was close to our hotel. One day pass is $15 and that’s a little expensive, however, the people are nice, the gym hasn’t been filled to capacity the couple times I’ve been in, and it’s a nice clean place. If I lived in Denver, I’d go here. Customer service goes above and beyond, they genuinely seem to care about you. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Honestly one of my favorite gyms I've worked out at in Colorado. Staff is awesome, great equipment and something about this gym gets me focused and in the zone. I've made more gains here than anywhere else.

Ive had membership in other big businesses as 24hour fitness/Vasa and felt like they did not care about my health but only for my money . Power house makes me feel very welcome the minute I step in the building . Everyone including the owners always motivate you, help you out on each individual way. I highly recommend this gym especially , if you are a Beginner like me . Where I had no idea where to start or how to use the Machines. Best choice I had made !

Fantastic experience: I had been a member of a variety of gyms in Colorado and California throughout my life. Powerhouse Gym is bar none the best gym ever! It doesn't matter what shape, size or fitness level that you come in; Powerhouse is for you! No joke this gym is open 24/7 and have the gym equipment you need. The Powerhouse employees and owners are amazing folks who are very knowledgeable, helpful and passionate in what they do which makes Powerhouse so great. When the staff and owners are not busy helping out their members. They are cleaning up and keeping the gym organized. This place could easily pass a white glove inspection by how well it is maintained. If you are looking for a personal trainer talk to one of the Triple J's (Jeff, Jacqueline & Jessica). They seriously care about their clients achieving their fitness goals and the Triple J's are incredible people to be around. Jeff has been training me for almost three months and I'm loving the results of my body!I feel so healthy and happy! Thank you Jeff! If you follow the rules, pay your dues, be respectful and clean up after yourself; you will have a good time here. You should get a tour of Powerhouse to see what this place is truly about.

Fantastic experience: Go here! This place is great for individuals at ALL fitness levels. Jeff the owner greeted me at the door was inviting and kind. He and his wife run this gym and you can tell it's not a corporate conglomerate wanting to force you into a contract you can not get out; Or who are pushy and start to act funny at the sign of customer reluctance EH EHM! L.A. FITNESS) They offer freezing your account because they understand life happens. Jeff took time to show me around and demonstrated top level customer service communicating the aspects of the gym and other perks; such as 24/7 availability to workout. Steve is a friend of the owner and assist in the day to day elements and it shows. Great customer service and you could tell pretty cool to be around. I felt bad I could not sign up today but I WILL BE returning. The gym is exceptionally clean and WELL maintained, not like those days of old were there is chalk all over and individuals yelling because the weight is too heavy. I HIGHLY recommend this gym for vacationers who visit Colorado's gorgeous landscape and I'm sure (don't assume he will I just think he is that type of personal find every way to accommodate costumes) Jeff will comodate you economically and set you up with a pass for the time you're here Supplying your fitness needs. Others, those who "eat the gym" this is your spot.

Fantastic experience: Great locally owned gym. Big free weights area and plenty of machines for isolation workouts. 2 Squat racks + a separate deadlifting platform. Everybody respects the equipment and re-racks their weights. Usually go around lunch and never too busy. Never have to wait for equipment either. Fantastic gym

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome. Not only is it 24 hour access but its always clean. Never have trouble using the equipment, even during peak hours. Members are friendly and willing to share. Feels like a community. They added some new equipment thats helped really key in my workouts. Most importantly, they have the best staff out there. Ive been to all the big box gyms and an MMA gym and this is as close to family as it gets. No matter what time I go I feel I belong there and so does my wife and our child. They have a child care for when you're working out, which our daughter loves. They're great with her and she actually asks if we can go all the time. We couldn't ask for any better from a gym. Ive noticed they have a sense of community and bring people together and encourage and inspire

Fantastic experience: Great place to start your physical and mental health journey. Not overcrowded and the small surroundings gives you a sence of comfort that bigger gyms cant provide! I also had the chance of meeting new people and have received pointers on how to improve my form and health.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Staff is cool as hell, the owners are very knowledgeable about everything from what exercise to do and how to do the exercise all the way to how to shape up your diet. The members are all super friendly and respectful. I have never had an issue getting a certain machine or spot in the gym, even at peak times after work. You can always find a piece of equipment because the members actually put them back where they belong (Unlike members at VASA and Chuze.) If you're looking for a gym with a very friendly atmosphere and not a corporate atmosphere, I would come here.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a gym that offers high quality, professional Attitude and results, along with severe knowledge of nutrition and Use of the equipment, look no further because this is your gym... Yes, I am a Member going on 2 months, and this is an awesome place to get yourself in shape or keep yourself in shape. The owner Jeff, is involved in every aspect of the Powerhouse gym, his employees are top notch, and regardless of,... if you are a beginner or a seasoned veteran, Jeff and his staff Are the ones to make sure that you have the best knowledge , in both,exercise and nutrition. This is not your oversized,over priced, Poorly run gym,.... This is however, The perfect sized Gym with the state-of-the-art equipment, including free weights,.. that you will find anywhere in this area.. So if you're thinking about getting yourself in shape or continuing your quest, this is the gym for you hands down. On a scale of 1 to 10 ,... I give it a 11 plus plus plus plus plus.

Fantastic experience: This place is absolutely Amazing! The new owner really seems to care about his employees and more importantly the club memebers. Its rare to see an owner to take such passion and pride within his community, no wonder he tosses "the trash" when the standards are not being met. I look forward to seeing the new changes and the clean up he puts forth. More importantly, I'm glad to have a place where I can train and feel welcomed without having pressure to buy and order unneeded assistance. Fantastic experience: Was a member for a year while living in the area. Good range of equipment for lifting, and cardio. Always saw the gym being cleaned. Gym was cared for. Equipment frequently wiped down by members and staff. When I brought a billing issue to their attention it was resolved quickly and courteously. Would still be a member if not for moving away.

Fantastic experience: Been going there for a year and it's small but does the job as it's more private and the 24 hours makes it easy to get in a workout even if it's late. The owner has solved previous problems I've encountered by phone and waived fees which definately wouldn't have happened at other gyms. I recommend this place as I've had a excellent experience here

Fantastic experience: I grew up in the hole in the wall steroid head type of gym. I didn’t want to find a hole in the wall, but I wanted the feeling of knowing I can lift heavy, be loud, and not worry about a “dress code” requiring me to wear sleeves. Powerhouse Gym of Thornton goes above and beyond my expectations. The care taken of the facility is excellence at minimum. The owners ACTUALLY care about each and every individual that walks through their doors. Also they make sure to staff folks with more between their ears than what they read on Instagram. I’ve looked at almost every gym in the Thornton area and THIS powerhouse is my gym until I leave the state. End of story.

Fantastic experience: First off staff for this facility are outstanding and the new owners and how they take care of this place is top notch. After the renovations its really opened the floor up and made the atmosphere to the gym feel a lot better. The place is 24 hours and the equipment is in near perfect shape still. Overall a really wonderful gym with wonderful people running it!
