Negative experience: I have been a loyal member since 2021, and recently I’ve been going through financial hardship, so I decided I needed to end my membership. I missed the 30 day notice by only 5 days and emailed Club with the hopes that they would understand and not make me pay for another month in which I will not be able to even use it. Even when talking to the front desk about what to do, they said to call or email the headquarters and said “hopefully they will do the right thing”. I was deeply ashamed that a company with 70 million in revenue would not have the compassion for their clients. An extra $30 for this company wouldn’t phase them, but that’s what you get when you are a member here. They don’t care about you, they see you as a number and only care about their wallet.

Negative experience: I’ve been going here for 9 years, but this place seems to have drastically been going down hill. Sauna is always disgusting, they barely clean the floors, always trash laying everywhere throughout the gym. Every time I come to the gym the employees just stand around and talk behind the desk, 3-4 deep when they could just go clean the bathrooms or pick the place up. Make zero sense, either just lazy or their manager doesn’t care.

Negative experience: How does this place stay open? Saunas smell like butt crack (and is never cleaned), most of the equipment is on its last leg, hours for additional services are limited, staff is the worst, ceiling lights are glitching, and it is just overall dingy place. This is a $5/mth gym at best. I can't wait until Planet Fitness puts them out of business.

Negative experience: Manager Micheal is the most disgusting person. Not at all Knowledgeable. Misguided me, because I wanted him to change my membership from platinum to basic one. He did not allow my son to workout with me. I requested him to let him sit in the waiting area till the time I am working out if he doesn’t allow him to workout with me. But he didn’t. I had to drop him home and washed my time. He was very rude and arrogant. There is no customer satisfaction. I cancelled my membership and joined Crunch fitness which is new and they are providing more facilities in 1/3 price and $1 joining fee as well. Really disappointed.

Negative experience: Things that need to be addressed: -Hand dryers smell like mold when the air blows out -There is mild on the back of the toilet in the men’s restroom. For someone to not cleanup / miss that makes me wonder what else is going on in this place. -not enough 10 pound plates in the freeweight area -clean rag dispensers often empty, not enough visibility, to few of them. Things that probably can’t be fixed: - I checked about a dozen lockers looking for an empty one. People had stuff in all of them. No locks. High trust though, I suppose that’s good. - equipment to gym-goer ratio at peak times is not great. Just something that would be nice: - the music volume is very loud. I could hear it over my headphones, even at the highest volume setting. I noticed that nearly everyone in the gym had headphones on / in. It seems unnecessary to be blasting music in a gym in modern times. If the things that need to be addressed are addressed as well as the music, then I would change my rating to a 5 star review.

Negative experience: They revoked my 24/7 access and access to other club gyms, except for one. They ALSO raised their prices. You can find a bigger, cleaner, newer gym, for much less all over St. Peters. I get the peak membership at another gym for far less $$$ than the basic membership at club fitness. Go elsewhere

What will CF do? a) Upgrade the St. Peters club b) Close the St. Peters club c) Nothing and watch members move to Planet Fitness Update -- Got a flier in the mail from Planet Fitness over the weekend. Looks like they'll be opening in November 2025. Not sure if two clubs can survive being right across the highway from each other. What are going to do Club Fitness?

Positive experience: I’ve been coming here for a while now. The music overhead in the speakers has been skipping for at LEAST 6 months. I have headphones majority of the time, but the short time I don’t wear them is long enough to make me want to rip my ears off. Some of the time the staff is here while it’s going on. I honestly don’t know how they tolerate it. It’s horrible. I’d rather have complete silence over this.

Negative experience: Their membership inclusions & exclusions are misleading. I signed up for a basic membership in March. I went in and asked where the women’s area was & was told that the women’s area is not included in the basic membership. This is not stated ANYWHERE on their website or under the inclusion sections of their membership sign on. I was also lead to believe that the Edge Kids Zone is only included in the Strong membership. The second time I tried to use the Kids Zone, I was informed that they were at capacity & was incorrectly informed of their Kid Zone hours. The next couple times I tried to use the Kids Zone, they were also at capacity. When addressing a membership specialist regarding my concerns about them not being fully transparent about the women’s area only being covered under the strong membership, he apologized & said all he could do is upgrade me. When addressing Travis, upper management of the only 3 Edge Fitness locations in Missouri, the first time I was told they are having staffing issues but was reassured they’d be fixed immediately. Two weeks later, I spoke to Travis again expressing my desire to cancel my membership. He told me I am only allowed to cancel due to moving or medical clearance. He stated that Kids Zone is actually a free service provided by all Edge Fitness locations in Missouri. It is not part of any of the memberships specifically. He also told me that having to wait for children to be picked up in order to drop off at Kids Zone is ‘just part of it’. I asked him who I could speak to that is over him & was told that there is no way to reach corporate. He offered me an email address which he previously told me all emails direct to him anyway & whoever I get in touch with is going to give me the same answers he gave me, which was essentially ‘get over it’. I wouldn’t recommend Edge Fitness to anyone ever. They’re not up front about anything at all & their customer service is one of the worst I’ve seen in a long time. Do not, do not, do not make the same mistake I did by signing up with this gym. There are MANY, MANY other options.

Positive experience: CF is consistently clean. Usually friendly staff. Sometimes the temp is too warm. They must have changed the sanitizing wipes. The new ones have an unpleasant order.
Negative experience: -Locker room TVs are all stuck on the same date, time (7:24am) and Coach McCarty quote -Gym smells like wet socks? -Gym feels like wet socks? -Gym has ventilation problems? -Equipment is decent, as expected -Parking lot is full of massive potholes (explains why the McLaren parks in the back) -Building needs a new roof -Building falling apart from the outside 2/5 stars; good enough for me

Positive experience: I like classes and theirs are not at times I can go. I loved my previous gym and all their instructors. There were usually multiple classes I could choose from at times I could get there, but it closed during the covid nightmare. I would upgrade my membership if there were classes that fit my schedule. On the positive side, It's good for the basics. You can choose what level you want to pay for, so it can be affordable. If you have not been there lately, maybe give it another try. There have been significant improvements. It is cleaner and brighter than it used to be. I was a member years ago and left because it was dirty and the equipment was always broken, but I can say that is no longer the case.

Negative experience: They really need to fix their door scanner at night. The past three weeks, you can not get into the gym unless if someone lets you in. This has not been the first time. This problem goes on and off. People have been using a weight to prop the door open because of this. It’s sad when you are paying for 24 hour access and can not even use it. I would recommend a different location because this has been a recurring issue that seems to not be addressed. Update 2/21/25 They still have not fixed the door issue. They just do not care. People are still having to use a weight to prop the door open. Now the door scanner will not even light up red when trying to scan in.

Negative experience: The worst service I have ever had. Dirty gym. After canceling my membership they still ask me for money for 1.5 months even though I canceled my membership in advance. HORRIBLE PLACE

Negative experience: I've been an on/off member for 8 years. I come back here because this is a mile from my house. Easy to walk to. I sign up for 12 months then realize after a month why I dislike this location. Constantly dirty, the door scanner barely works, leaving the door propped open. I have a video of a guy tweaking out during one of these times. Today both urinals are out of service. The roof leaks, the music cuts in and out. The vibe here is very distressed, it's distracting.

Positive experience: This location is a great option. The staff is friendly, and they consistently strive to keep the place clean. The equipment is well-maintained, and they even have extra dumbbells for commonly used weights, like the 15s and 25s. The only downside is that some of the other patrons aren't very considerate, and there’s a chance some may be homeless. It doesn’t necessarily interfere with workouts, but it does affect the overall experience.

Negative experience: This location is pure trash. The equipment is old and tattered, the sauna is dirty and smells so bad, the bathrooms have grime everywhere, never have toilet paper, and the bins are always out of wipes for the machines. The staff is worthless and they always run a skeleton crew. They seem to have no training and couldn't care less if you need something. Please, just go somewhere else, even if you have to drive more.
Negative experience: I was in the locker room and receive the call from a client. For some reason the music is so damn loud in the locker room at least twice as loud as in the gym I couldn't carry on a conversation. I've complained about this before but it seems to fall on deaf ears

Positive experience: The music situation at night is ridiculous. Turn the music off if it’s going to cutting in & out like this all night. Based on past reviews this has been going on for a while. I’d rather sit in a silent gym than have to listen to choppy music for my entire workout. Clean the bathroom while you’re at it. It smell disgusting.

Negative experience: The bathroom is ALWAYS very dirty. So called fitness center so dirty in mens locker area, bath area and restrooms that it seems it's public toilet that's been uncleaned months. Negative experience: The gym is dirty but the mens locker room is deplorable. The showers smell like sewer with layers of gunk and grimy build up on the stalls. Hair everywhere. The soap pump are filthy . There was a band stuck to the shower wall. The sauna stinks and has a discolored layer of sweat and dirt on the floors. One of the sinks did not work. I was disgusted and in disbelief at just how bad it was.

Positive experience: the gym is great, with everything you need for every workout. staff is nice and very positive towards everyone. I have one complaint I recently moved and my community has a gym that works for me better. written in fine print if you cancel your account you will be forced to pay for 3 months of your subscription. I personally find this unfair and unreasonable. the monthly fee was reasonable however the hidden fee's are clearly irrational.

Negative experience: I went to this location which isn't my normal location for the first time yesterday and after waiting 10 minutes for somebody to come to the front desk to scan my barcode to tan, he finally came and told me I was good in room 6.. so I laid in the bed and got soaked in SOMEBODY ELSES SWEAT. I had no choice but to put my clothes back on with somebody else's sweat on me as they don't even offer towels there. I walked back up to the front desk and he goes "oh sorry about that" and just put me in a different room.. I've never been so disgusted in my life.

Positive experience: Inquiry: Group X Studio Open Time. Hello, I went to your location today (Sunday, 6/23) around 6 pm and found that the group exercise studio was locked. I asked the staff member whether it was locked and the staff member confirmed. He added that other locations (e.g., St. Charles)'s group exercise studio would be locked now. Then I went to the St. Charles location and found that the group exercise studio was still open. My question is, when is St. Peter location's grop exercise studio open and closed. If you have a different policy regarding the open/close time than the other locations', can you plese share it?

Negative experience: This location is not ALL people friendly! I saw a worker there discriminating against a black man and his two children! It was very hard to watch! I do not recommend and will not be returning!
Negative experience: How are you guys going to convert peoples membership into "Legacy" ones and take out all the amenities like 24 hour access While I'm legit paying $26 a month for what lol This gym is straight up a scam. Almost tripling the prices over the few years and now you guys are even taking away the only thing I use. Which was the 24 hour access.

Negative experience: I have been going here for at least 4 years. It was a good gym. In the last year, they have not done a good job maintaining it. The treadmills are constantly dirty everyday. They are often Very low on toilet paper in the men's bathroom for obvious reasons I don't know about the women's. Also, there is often a non-working toilet and the soap dispenser has been empty. They need to step up maintaining the place.

Negative experience: The gym is a scam they promise you anything to sign up and don’t honor their contract. It’s very overcrowded and many of the machines are broken for months.
Negative experience: Absolute garbage. Do not honor contracts. After cancelling membership you're told that they will charge you for extra month. No adults to talk to just children who are extremely rude. I will never return and would never recommend this place to anyone
Fantastic experience: The Gym is very clean with a multitudes of equipment. It's a bit small compared to other club fitness location and can get crowded fast.
Fantastic experience: Doing a free 3 day guest pass experience. Soo far am loving this place more than planet fitness! Definitely gonna get a membership to this & will cancel my other membership! There are more weights & machines to use amongst other things that planet fitness doesn't have. I definitely see myself hitting my goals here than at planet fitness. Also get to use the gym during any holiday. ( Always open 24/7 ! )
Negative experience: Saint Peter's location is the dirtiest location. Huge dust bunnies everywhere. Wipe containers always empty. Mens locker room is filthy. Staff just stands behind counter on their phones.
Positive experience: They have remodeled the gym several times over the past few years, but haven’t addressed real problems. Fresh paint is less important that working facilities and functional equipment. For example, a men’s room urinal has been intermittently out-of-order for weeks. Likewise, there are leaks in the roof. The recumbent stationary bikes are popular with clients, but the gym has decreased the number of them resulting in crowding and unavailability in the morning. At the same time, the gym has failed to maintain the ones that remain. Most of the bikes have issues with the pedals not flowing smoothly. Otherwise, the gym has a decent selection of equipment and weights. Instructors teach as variety of great classes. Most of the staff is friendly, especially those who have been there for years, although some staff act aloof and ignore clients to chat with each other. They offer a children's club area, which makes it convenient for those with kids. It gets rather crowded at peak hours or on holidays.

Positive experience: I really enjoy going to this club fitness. Staff is always friendly. It does get really crowded in the afternoon so the only thing that would make it better is if they had multiple workout machines for certain body parts.
Positive experience: They have a 3 day free trial which was great but the staff wasn't super helpful when I had a question. She looked like she didn't want to be there & I didn't understand her smirky demeanor. The equipment is older but I believe that they are getting new equipment soon. Bathrooms were clean. Good in and out gym.
Positive experience: The new setup took away a row machine. Please add another or 2. These are way more popular than 14 bikes in 1 row, or the 9 ellipticals in the back row.
Positive experience: CF is a nice gym. I enjoy working out there. The equipment is adequate and the employees are very nice and helpful for the most part. I only recommend that the club requires/enforce all of the customers to wear proper gym attire when working out and to prohibit people from hanging jackets and other clothe items on the rails inside the gym for safety reasons and for proper gym etiquette.
Fantastic experience: I love coming here. Every employee is amazing! I feel comfortable working out there. Not intimidated like other gyms I've been to. Also the massage bed after working out makes me feel amazing when I leave.
Fantastic experience: They offer a variety of group classes as well as equipment, so you can tailor your workouts to your needs. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, so if you ever have problems, they are very willing and able to help.
Fantastic experience: The staff here are amazing. My four year old begs to go to the kids club to hang out with them. Have not had one bad experience at this gym and I go a few times a week.. hands down the best club fitness in St Charles. Love the people and the feeling of community
Fantastic experience: I recently left Club Fitness only to be completely disappointed with another gym. Upon returning I had the privilege of meeting one of the companies HR employees. He was very helpful and directed me to a staff member to immediately assist me. The professionalism and quality of customer service is beyond compare. I’m glad to be back!
Negative experience: I can't help but feel like the place could use some better ventilation especially during the busier hours of the day, walking into the gym and feeling the air become noticeably thicker kills my drive and makes it harder to catch my breath in-between more intense exercises.
Negative experience: A medium sized club fitness that is usually overpacked during the busy hours. It gets to a point where you should probably limit the visitors when there’s not a single piece of equipment available. The men’s bathroom here smells absolutely offensive. I went here for a few weeks and it only got worse over time. It’s baffling the staff had done nothing to try and get rid of it but, you can see others struggling to breathe and covering their face with their shirts when you walk in.
Fantastic experience: Great selection of equipment, staff is friendly, and the location is easy to access. I really enjoyed my personal trainer experience. They put a lot of effort into making my individual plan to help me reach my goals.

Fantastic experience: Been a member for years! This location is always great. Someone is always available if needed. Even though parking lot is busy there is always room to exercise.
Negative experience: Be prepared to have the terms of your agreement changed when join club fitness. They will increase the price and decrease the benefits mid-way through your year agreement. They won’t honor the original terms you signed up for - and if you have a problem with that, oh well. What is good about the club fitness - the class instructors.
Fantastic experience: UPDATE: I sent an email to the address given on their website. The area manager, Joseph Phipps, took care of the issues IMMEDIATELY and responded back to me with an apology. This is why I lift local!! I LOVE this location. Unfortunately, it has gone downhill the last few months since the change of management (congrats on your promotion Jessie Cook!). One of my favorite amenities is Red Light Therapy. RLT is currently a waste of my time at this location due to at least 6 bulbs out and the rest weak. I have mentioned this to the staff for months...first 2 bulbs, then 3, then 5 out... "We'll let management know" or "They're currently working on the beds." Restrooms apparently are not maintained on the weekends, too :(
Negative experience: Came in today considering switching from planet fitness. One of the workers was really kind and friendly. There was another employee who talked to me like I was stupid when I couldn’t figure out how to get a machine working. I didn’t come here to be belittled and disrespected. Thank you for reminding me why I left in the first place.
Negative experience: Changed service offerings while under a 12-month contract term. Wanted 3-months fee to cancel membership for them wanting me to upgrade to a better membership. Loyalty is a 2-way street, if you want my loyalty then grandfather in the services I signed up for for the term of my contract or allow us to quit without fees if you do. What a scam, get you coming with joining fees, change services while you are within your probation period, then charge you to cancel. Welcome to the club right
Fantastic experience: New to the area and this is a nice gym with all the right equipment. Very clean on the floor but the sauna needs a deep clean. Someone might end up getting ring worm in that thing but on the other hand the heat is perfect! The cleanliness of the sauna is the only reason why this place isn’t a 5 in my opinion. This is an update a couple days after I posted this. Within this short time they have cleaned the sauna. Which means they care and actually look at these reviews. For this I’m changing my score to a 5 star review!
Negative experience: I broke my ribs and trying to contact someone by phone to see what I can do about my membership is impossible. When you call all you get is recording that gives you prompts but never sends you to an actual PERSON. It just loops over and over and over and over and over and you get it... so annoyed right now.
Negative experience: Been a member of this gym for a while. They just renovated the whole downstairs and the only thing they refuse to fix is the terrible music skipping! It's been like this for near 6 months now and has completely destroyed several of my workouts. If you can't fix it can you at least shut it off? It's so loud I can hear it skipping even over my headphones.
Negative experience: Good location and decent equipment, but for the last few months after 7pm the music cuts out every second and distracts you from your workout. It's terrible and kills your motivation. Mentioned it to the staff multiple times and claim it's an internet problem they can't do anything about. Just turn it off no music would be better than on-off-on-off every second. If you want your evening workout ruined, perfect gym for it.
Negative experience: The staff need to be trained on customer service. They are rude! They don’t greet you or speak at all! I’d appreciate not so many broken machines as well!
Fantastic experience: Most of the staff is very friendly and helpful. Willing to answer questions and help you along your journey. The club is clean and they have wipes all over so you can wipe down equipment before and after use. I love the Fusion Room.
Fantastic experience: Joined a bit back but had surgery and wasn’t cleared until August 1st. Went in and was welcomed warmly and quickly by Jessie. It’s been a while since I’ve been to the gym but they made me feel very welcomed. Looking forward to many more good workouts!
Fantastic experience: Club Fitness in St. Peters is an awesome gym. They have high-quality workout equipment, excellent fitness classes, and the building is kept immaculate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The staff is very friendly and enthusiastic about helping you fulfill your fitness goals. Just to give a quick shout-out, I would like to especially thank Zae Alcedo for making me and my son feel very welcome the first day we spoke to him about our fitness plan. He is very kind, friendly, and his attitude is outstanding. We really enjoyed our visit with him. If you are looking for an establishment to get your workout on, you should really try Club Fitness in St. Peters, MO. You won't be disappointed. AMAZING!!
Fantastic experience: So I was 50/50 on coming in here and getting a membership, as a matter of fact I convinced myself on my ride over here that I was not going to sign up for a membership… but here I am a new member of Club Fitness… why? Because Carol Ann made it easy and the features are honestly wonderful. I have a toddler as well and this gym more than seems to fit my schedule and goals. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I love this location! The staff is always upbeat and friendly. Always clean and equipment updated. I love that they have five squat racks. Even during busiest times, it’s not hard to get a good workout in.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a St. Peters Club Fitness member since 2016. This has been the best place to work on my body and mind since my days as a member of Bally Fitness. I recommend anyone looking for a gym, to join. The cleanliness of the gym is exemplary. I noticed one team member, Gaven, cleaning equipment with great detail. He, and the rest of the team, are rock stars!

Positive experience: If you are looking for a new gym I recommend club fitness. The staff is friendly. The gym has a variety of equipment suited to fit the needs of those who are just starting too those who are more experienced. In addition the smoothie bar, tanning beds, and hydro-electric massage beds are a great way of ending any workout.
Fantastic experience: Great spot, a bit off the main area like the HWY K location, which is a good thing. Great location after they remodeled. A bit more private and quieter than some of the other locations. Over all great staff, facilities are clean and plenty of weight and cardio equipment.
Fantastic experience: We were here on a Saturday afternoon and Emma was very helpful in completing my husbands’s membership setup. She explained the system and how the new barcodes will work. We really love this gym! It’s convenient and close to our home!

Negative experience: Awesome staff, however if you plan on going from 8pm-9:30pm Monday thru Sunday bring head phones. The Techno Music skips non stop, I do mean non stop during this time. From my understanding the Tech support Team has been working on the issue for almost a year.

Fantastic experience: The members of this Club Fitness are very respectful and warming as soon as you enter the facility. Members are very good about wiping down the machines after use for sanitize purposes. I love coming here everyday!

Fantastic experience: The equipment is up to date. Club Fitness has a little of every type of equipment for whatever type of workout you want to achieve. There isn't a time that I visit that I don't see someone cleaning the equipment. The bathroom is also so cute and always smells soooooo good. I know that's probably weird to put in a review, but it's true. Oh! The smoothie station is amazing as well!
