Fantastic experience: I go to Florissant and Maplewood location and I must say it's Awesome. Very clean, helpful staff and plenty of workout equipment to help you reach your goals. The Florissant location still offers indoor cycling classes. This is the best way to improve your cardio workouts. I recommend Cycling with Quinn

Fantastic experience: Great atmosphere places always busy which is good see a lot of the same faces in and out which is always a good sign people will remember you it's nice to have a tight knit community place like this.
Negative experience: This location consistently struggles with maintaining a positive reputation due to ongoing cleanliness and maintenance issues. The men's locker room is frequently unclean, with trash often left in the sauna—when it is operational. Gym equipment is not properly serviced or maintained, raising concerns about both functionality and safety. Additionally, I have never observed thorough deep cleaning efforts, such as mopping and sanitization. Currently, renovations are being conducted alongside active gym equipment during peak hours, yet there is no cautionary tape or clear notification regarding the gym's status, creating potential hazards for members. It is disappointing that I must visit other locations to receive a well-maintained and safe workout environment. I urge management to take immediate action to address these concerns and improve the overall member experience.

Negative experience: If you want a free gym membership visit the location in Florissant. The staff literally will not say anything if you walk by without scanning ♀️Major security risk putting every life in there in danger! I was told the doors are left unlocked to allow those who want to check out the facility and possibly enroll. I feel if staff are at the desk then they can let those in for this purpose or put a buzzer on the door and have staff to let them in. I heard someone talking about how they have been walking into this location for months and working out for free, never stopping by the desk either, stating the staff is always there chatting amongst themselves or on their phones but no one has every said anything but they have increased the rates for those who have a membership ♀️. Fantastic experience: The club is generally well-run. I normally don't have to wait for equipment. The price is reasonable for what you get. I've been going to this gym for 10 years and I love working out there.

Fantastic experience: Love the facility having 24 hr access is very important to me and my lifestyle
Negative experience: I went here for the first time. Thinking it would be okay to work out. I noticed something right off the bat. Not one station has a towel or a bottle to wipe to down your equipment. I waited and watched as I counted for 45 minutes while I used their treadmill 12 different people, one person out of those 12 wipe down their machine. Overheard me asking about it to a couple employees. The general manager came over. He basically said that they can't force people to wipe down their machines. It's just kind of up to the faith of them. He suggested that I can wipe down the machine though beforehand if I want to. Why should I have to wipe? Somebody's dirty nasty sweat before I get on the machine? This is just GROSS!! I will not be returning.They do not have a cleanliness standard. I would rather pay five dollars every single time to go to the civic center than to come here and know that i'm touching dirty equipment... At least the community center has sanitizer bottles and a towl to wipe down the equipment!!!

Positive experience: Can you be 11 and still come to his gym? I’ve been trying to lose weight but I can’t. I have no gym near my house. This is the only one I have near. Can you be 11?

Fantastic experience: I used to be a member about 6 months ago, and came this week because I was thinking of signing back up. This gym has gotten way better than it used to be. It is way cleaner than it used to be, and the staff seem to be way more solid than they were in the past. The manager now also seems to truly care about this place and their job and puts in the effort to make this gym a better place for its members.

Negative experience: The scanner for the door locks u out. I have the middle membership and the door never works. They just raised the prices. We pay more and get less Facts!

Positive experience: I’ve never had any issues with staff here. Always friendly, helpful, and doing what they can within their power. Amenities squarely fall short compared to other locations in Saint Louis. There simply is not enough leg work equipment available. My suggestions are as follows: Hip thrust machines A real Pendulum AND Hack squat machine At least two more deadlifting platforms Two more leg press machines I rarely ever see most of the cardio equipment being used on that side of the gym. Having to go to other locations far from home (or Edge Fitness in Saint Ann ) is inconvenient. If Edge buys and renovates that old Gold’s, it’s easy to say who will be getting my money in the future, without serious re-investment into this Club.
Negative experience: I have been a club fitness customer for over 15 years…. Tonight when I went to the Florissant location .5 miles from my house an employee by the name of “Kelly” informed me that I have a legacy pass. My pass is out of St. Charles where I lived when I originally signed up. She informed me that I could not work out tonight at that location until I upgraded my pass. I did not have my wallet on me because I do not trust bringing my wallet to the gym without a lock. She told me I would need to drive to the Saint Charles location tonight if I wanted to workout. That wouldn’t be a big deal if there wasn’t a legit snowstorm going on outside with a ton of snow on the ground. I will add a picture of the weather for reference. I told her I would update my pass this week when I workout again. She said no I had to right now. It’s clear Club fitness employees like “Kelly” at this location do not care about their customers safety. Why would I ever upgrade my pass if the staff at the location closest to me treats me this way? Putting my safety at risk over a few dollars. I will definitely just be canceling now and finding a new place to gym. The staff is often lacking at this location anyways and “Kelly” definitely is the cherry on top!
Negative experience: Club Fitness needs to invest more into this location. This place is a dump compared to other locations in STL and it’s not fair that you have to pay the same price as other locations to come here. It’s absolutely terrible comparatively.
Positive experience: This gym is getting better. It needs to repair machines quicker a more detailed cleaning.
Negative experience: As of yesterday, my husband and I had to put our membership to rest. We have been members since 2007. We weren't made aware of their rate hike until I swiped in and proceeded to my workout. I was called to the front desk. I was told that our rate is to increase from $22.00 for me and $11.00 for my husband to $39.99 ea. We were considered to have been on a legacy plan that was no longer offered. WHAT HAPPENED TO LOYALTY? So we are taking our fitness elsewhere. It's sad, because we had so many good memories there.
Negative experience: Shameful! I have been a member of CF for over 20 years, and now instead of being a valued customer, I am considered a "Legacy" (AKA albatross) member with all prior rights and privileges REVOKED! I went to the Florissant location today and was told they no longer would allow me to work out there as my original membership location was St. Peters! Really! They came to MY job and signed ME up under a promotional program! I didn't go to St. Peters and therefore St. Peters was NOT my home gym. Apparently, that doesn't make a difference CF corporate or their so called staff. So I was asked to either pay more money or leave! I left! By Club Felicia!
Negative experience: This company moves in a very unethical way. I've been with this gym for almost 9 years, and I am very disappointed in the way they treat their loyal members. I canceled my membership today. This gym in particular is consistently rotating staff and majority of them have terrible customer service. The people here never clean up after themselves. The saunas are unsanitary and it stinks in there all the time. They let anyone watch your kids in the kids club. The smoothies are awful now. You are better off going to a locally owned gym where they care more about their customers. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Negative experience: One of the nastiest gyms there could be. Trash (wipes, used plastic water bottles, and other miscellaneous items) everywhere! Locker rooms are dirty and smells horrible. Cars being broken into and much more. Couldn’t pay me to come back to this location!
Negative experience: The only complaint that I have is that their lights ( in the parking lot ) do not come until after sundown. Since daylight savings, this is a HUGE concern as far as safety goes! I feel completely unsafe attending my scheduled classes at their times. Due to the gyms’ not updating the lighting time on the parking lot lamps. I hope this issues gets fixed soon. Or I’d be forced to cancel my membership. Were near the end of December 2023 and this has been an ongoing issue for MANY members.
Negative experience: DO NOT SIGN THE CONTRACT unless you read it just another corporation stealing your money a bunch of hidden policies they don’t tell you about, went to gym canceled my membership 12/26 got email said they will still charge me for another month on 01/18 and membership will end 02/17 since I didn’t give 30 day notice it’s a TON OF GYMS WAY BETTER AND MORE AFFORDABLE then this one in the area save your money while you can this company could care less about you going they just want you contractually obligated to pay them as long as they can get you to pay if you are a beginner to having a better lifestyle incorporating exercise into your daily routine this is the worst place to start look at smaller local gyms or more affordable gyms in your area.
Negative experience: I have two concerns with Florissant: maintenance and amenities. The women’s locker room floor, on 12/06/2023 was slippery and visibly dirty during the hours of 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. I feel that several of my experiences at the Florissant location have been met with staff members displaying disregard for the situation. The manager, Kelly, and staff member, Kennedy, exhibited hubris and failed to provide a smoothie or a refund. Consequently, I am without a smoothie and out of money, highlighting the need for improved communication and customer care at this location.
Negative experience: This is one of the worst gyms in the area. Unclean and unkempt. The common areas are nasty and unsanitary. That's not even the worst problem. The gym has you locked into a contract you are expected to follow when they clearly don't. It is unsafe, unclean, and an unfair place overall. There is another rate hike coming and they are taking amenities away voiding current contracts and promises. Beware
Fantastic experience: The greeter, Devon, was kind and helpful. The facility is clean and well kept. Busy but not so full we had to wait on equipment.
Negative experience: This is one of the worst gyms I've ever been to and I've traveled most of the country. They have children running it. Management is almost nonexistent. Cleanliness isn't really a thing there. The locker rooms smell like someone's gym sock that was left out in the Louisiana sun. Oh and the groups that workout and take over areas of the gym. Groups of 6-9 dudes hogging multiple machines. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.
Positive experience: Fullsize lockers would be beneficial. Athletes carry quite a bit if gear. The ability to secure these items and bulky bags is a great draw. Been to other locations with upgrades such as wall units with shampoo/body wash in the showers for convenience and more updated layouts.
Negative experience: This Is one of the worst gyms i have been to They gave my account information to someone that is not on my account i tried for weeks to talk to a manager and never was able to also the women’s room door was locked on several occasions or the door was broken
Fantastic experience: This morning I came in as a guest but ended up signing up before I left the gym.. Donte' at the front desk was knowledgeable and also so helpful from the time I came in. It wasn't too crowded plus the shake I got at the end of my workout was delicious and helped with recovery for muscles. Another bonus they have 1st Phorm products their it's like a one stop shop for my fitness.
Negative experience: walked in about 15 minutes before the staffing hours closed and asked Jordan if he could show me around the location for my new fitness journey and he stated that they are currently closing and that wouldn’t be possible and suggested that i try another day. i guess i won’t be at this location and will start it at planet fitness instead.
Fantastic experience: This facility covers your fitness needs whatever they be. Being am older gentleman I focus on a good 30 minutes of stretching then about 30 minutes of pulley machines for my shoulders recovering from injury. Very encouraged with the staff and their helpfulness. I have enjoyed their abundance of cardio equipment too but I'm getting outside for that now.
Negative experience: Atmosphere is ok. I lift in the morning and there is never any wipes for equipment. Which, is gross. I pay for a membership, I should be able to take advantage of all the amenities. Including having clean equipment to lift with without worrying about getting a staph infection. Was told night employees are just lazy.
Negative experience: I would give zero stars if I could, this location is horrible and I do not recommend you go there. The staff are terrible and they lock you in contracts. The staff are heretics and banned me for my faith in God. They sprayed shave gel all over me and the bathroom while I was minding my business and then accused me of doing so. And there's this one fat employee named Canyon (he's weaker than my 10 year old grandson) he's the worst of them all and did I mention he was fat. Sincerely Hulum Von
Positive experience: Stopped in for a trial workout while in town for a weekend. Pretty nicely equipped gym, didn't notice any broken equipment. They could use some adjustable benches and a few more racks. But at the time I went it wasn't an issue, it was not crowded and i got to use what I needed without a wait. Talked with a few of the members while there. Mostly friendly...except for the guy who couldn't be bothered. I don't live here, but if I were choosing a gym to go to I would probably think twice. As friendly as some of the people were...apparently unloading your weights on machines is not a thing at this place. I was there for just under two hours...and except for the rack, I had to unload every single machine I used. Not the gym culture I'm used to. But otherwise, the place appeared clean and wipes are provided for you to clean up after you used equipment.
Negative experience: People on their phones using equipment,gym bags in workout area, dropping weights, no one puts weights back. The management does absolutely nothing about these issues even though the rules are posted.
Negative experience: I like coming to this gym but they have been slacking on cleanliness. I came in about 3:30am to work out and the cans that hold the sanitizing wipes were empty, there was dried up wipes and empty water bottles on the floor, and the bathroom needed to be cleaned. The toilets were nasty and the floors needed to be swept and mopped. The men's locker room has a foul odor in there. If this isn't fixed I more than likely will be canceling my membership.
Fantastic experience: This is Mary Hembree. I am a senior citizen and am happy to be able to come in under an insurance program. When time permits I come in I walk, ride a stationary bike and do a few weights. Everything is always clean and I am not aware of any equipment failures. Everyone is always friendly and helpful.
Positive experience: Its a nice place to workout, however after hours once the crew is gone for the day it tends to get really nasty and unclean. Water bottles and other drinking cups etc on the floor unattended machine wipe down rags all over the floor(s) not a well kept place in the form of cleanliness after hours, but over all a great place to workout, the staff is helpful and friendly very knowledgeable about the equipment among other things. No issues such as security are anything of that nature the people that attend also seem to be very friendly orientated I give them a 8 out of 10
Negative experience: Please be careful: My child has a membership with Club Fitness and getting out of it is the absolute worst. Walked in today to inquire about canceling the account. The representative was rude and very short with me. Also just a heads up incase you are not aware, to cancel your membership you must pay 2 months if you have had. it under a year. So canceling in it March you will still pay for April and May (upfront). This is a scam why pay for something you are not using. Plus the rude customer service just makes it worse. Ask question and read the fine print‼️
Negative experience: You know laying 40 bucks a month to use this gym you would assume that someone would inform you of the change to a barcode based system. Now it's late I'm locked out of the gym and will have to doy workout another day which screws my schedule. Will someone remind me what I am paying g you 40 dollars a month and a yearly fee of 150 for please?
Negative experience: The sauna is down for weeks at a time & car break ins average weekly by broken windows, not unlocked doors! So unfortunate that there isn’t more care & concern at such a beautiful facility because of its location.
Fantastic experience: The staff is very friendly and answered every question I had regarding the ingredients in their smoothies and made suggestions that would help during and after my work out!
Negative experience: The gym equipment itself is alright, but you have to avoid the bathroom, they never clean it and it smells so bad. I bet when you use their air dryer for hands, the filter inside is full of dust so you might as well avoid that as well and use the McDonalds bathroom down the street before you go in to workout.
Negative experience: Very unprofessional inconsiderate place. Takes you through a hassle just to cancel a membership even if you never step foot in the gym and continuously tries to charge my card.
Negative experience: Be careful. I had my friend join at this location and she specifically chose the lower plan and didn't do the $1 enrollment because of the hidden fees. Lo and behold she wakes up this morning and they still took $100 out. When to the location the manager said she didn't know and to call customer service. She was absolutely no help, she told the associate what I had to pay and walked off like she didn't even care. I cancelled it.
Negative experience: If you are shopping fitness centers... my recommendation...stay away from Club Fitness! It took me almost 2 years to get them to cancel my membership...they charged me ridiculous money and that craphole has nobody that speaks good english at their customer service. ABC Fitness Solutions sucks and they are an absolute joke. Save your money or go ANYWHERE else. That is all...
Fantastic experience: Equipment is so up to date and in good condition and the staff is full professionals with excellent demeanor and respect to the members! Lily was a very professional employee and was willing to help in all manners Highly recommend
Negative experience: The club itself is great. Customer service wise, they struggle. They don’t have a phone number that anyone answers. Anything, billing wise, is directed to a call center which is not English proficient and always refers back to the club. Even their corporate office out in St Peters doesn’t seem to be able to manage the business. I suggest you pay in full at the start or you will get fees added on if anything is the slightest bit wrong with your account. When you finally reach a manager - who you have to be lucky to find at the time they are working, they can fix problems but it sure isn’t easy. I might suggest a different gym if it were not so close to home.
Fantastic experience: I regularly train at this gym and this is by far one of my favorite locations. Large facility and well maintained the employees are friendly and helpful and hardly any of the equipment is ever broke. Five stars.

Fantastic experience: When I came in the first person I saw had the biggest smile so that was awesome. I had a smoothie made that tasted amazing and really energized me. All the equipment was clean, easy to use, and their manager Bailey was extremely helpful with answering questions about the different tiers of membership. 10/10 my favorite Club Fitness in the St. Louis area!

Fantastic experience: I had a good day at the club. I had a personal trainer give me a free 1 hour fitness assessment. That in itself was a good workout. Now I know my weaknesses as well as my strengths. I continue on and also had a great lower body workout and core on the weight machines. I'm off to a great start.
Fantastic experience: Donte was awesome in sharing what smoothies were good and the Mando Berry Blast was in fact delicious. I love working out at club fitness and enjoying a smoothie from time to time.

Fantastic experience: This gym has improved greatly in the past 2 years. I enjoy coming here and seeing similar faces. The staff is pretty friendly and it doesn’t seem like the assistant manager minds it much that I check him out pretty much my entire workout nearly everyday
Fantastic experience: The facility is very clean and inviting. Lily and Nika were very helpful. The strawberry delight smoothie was delicious. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Great Club Fitness location! Very kind and helpful staff! Facility is very clean and well maintained. Personal trainer Jaacobie was very knowledgeable and helped tremendously!

Fantastic experience: During my time at club fitness it was very clean, and well organized. The Jalen was polite and knowledgeable when I had questions about smoothies or protein shakes.
Positive experience: Great fitness club to go to during the mornings and late evenings. Any other time you'll run into a lot of gym goers. But overall a great gym, one of the best in the LOU.
Fantastic experience: Clean and very welcoming CF location! Love my personal trainer Kyle and the rest of the staff here. Also, they make delicious and refreshing smoothies for some post workout protein and recovery! Always a good time here!

Fantastic experience: I have been attend this gym for over 5 years. And I am so grateful that I joined. The staff is very professional, kind and considerate. They work to keep the place clean, and safe. I want to thank Kyle for helping me today. He went out of his way to help me where I struggled, and I appreciate his kindness. The staff works hard, and their teamwork is impressive. Keep up the great work! I look forward to coming to the gym to work on keeping my health in tack. You guys are the best!
Fantastic experience: I’ve really enjoyed myself at this Gym the staff is really friendly , helpful, And attentive.. I also have the best personal trainer and on top of that They have a kids clubs I can workout And get a massage while my children are in the care of professionals who will tend to them. Best gym I’ve ever been too.
Negative experience: I canceled my account a month ago. Was once again charged this month so I called. Apparently my account was only partially canceled. Not sure how that happens. I had to cancel due to medical illness and am no longer able to workout. This time the manager assured me my account was canceled and they would be refunding me. I heard nothing and called two days later. Again the manager assured me they would be refunding me and to contact their customer service. I emailed them explaining the situation and got a canned email back saying they can charge me anytime within 30 days of my cancelation. I canceled last month the day I was billed. I have medical bills piling up and can't afford the gym. I thought this was taken care of having spoken to the location 3 separate times but apparently not. My account is now overdrawn which means more fees I cant affofd. These people in no way care about their clients. Absolutely disgusting service. Pure greed. They really should be ashamed of theirselves.

Fantastic experience: Bria makes the best smoothies at Clubfitness. She was very informative about the different types and was very patient with the various selections made.
Fantastic experience: The customer service is great! Ed in the front is very friendly and makes the best smoothies. They have all the equipment you need to get a great workout in and the classes are awesome! Tracey's Zumba Class is fantastic!!
Fantastic experience: Melanie Gibson is a great instructor..she has helped me in so many ways ..i love her zumba classes they are so much fun and energetic and her strenghth class is a great way to help u tone your legs arms and upper body ...if u havent given her core class a try yet def do...also mixed fitt is a lot of fun its a party on friday..i bet if u come in to one of her classes u wont regret it u will make yourself be a regular mel is the best shes also a great friend
