Fantastic experience: Great gym . Honestly their equipment is kept clean and always serviced . They even have a smoothie bar , great for recovery or building muscle or just a basic but flavorful lean shake . The people respect your space when you’re working out .
Positive experience: All the machines need better labels, especially at the market street location. Some of the machines are even broken. The prairie Lee facility is quite nice, some of the machines need to be replaced with more water and ones that have more effective adjustments. The smoothies and sauna are a nice plus :-)

Fantastic experience: This is my son's fitness center he LOVES it! The only downfall for him is that they are closed Holidays.
Negative experience: Has a kid room but you basically have to watch your own kids, for all the parents wondering. Don’t recommend if you have kids.

Positive experience: Place is nice and very clean. The equipment is great and I like there are classes available. I would like to see more availability in class times though. Employees aren’t very friendly at the Market st location though. Prairie Lea they always acknowledge people coming in.

Fantastic experience: New to the gym world, this was a good first one to start at! The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Fresh towels every day. They have a room right by the front desk with a tv for your kiddos. Overall nice establishment.

Negative experience: 1 year ago I entered the Prairie Lee location. After standing at counter for at least 15 minute and walking around to check place out myself none even acknowledged I was there. Lady being the counter looked up and right at me and walked off. Horrible horrible service. So I tried again today at the S. Market location. 2 women at counter, one was helping? / talking to a lady. Assumed a customer, think they were just visiting actually. Second lady at counter looked up and smiled but never said a word or even acknowledged us. Walked around a little without anyone ever even asking if they could help. Walked out never to return again !!! I do not see how they stay in business. A Mr. Jesse Baker did respond to the first review last year. And no I did not call him back simply because did not want to talk to him. Waited a year and tried again. Again service was HORRIBLE. Would not join even if I coul get someone to wait on me.

Fantastic experience: Been using this gym for 2 years. It has all the equipment you need to get your body right. It's good for working out solo or with partner. There is not a lot of free space but the gym is not supper busy. The staff is friendly and helpful and the other members are nice. I have a great time at the gym.thanks Brenham fitness.
Donnell, we are thrilled you enjoy our facility! Having two locations in town helps us spread out the traffic and keep from clogging up machine use. If you ever feel like a change of scenery, you can check out our second location on Market street near Mariachis. Your membership gains you complete access to both. Thank you for the positive review!

Positive experience: Like the gym but definitely wish one gym was 24 hours many people work nights so unfortunately the time schedule that the gym is open isn’t always open when they are awake or able to workout
Mckenzie, we hear you and completely understand your position. We actually tried the 24 hour structure several years ago and had a total of 2 members visit visit past 10 PM (our current closing time). In a small community such as Brenham, it was just not cost effective for us to remain open a full 24 hours. That being said, we have put substantial investment and manpower into improving not only our facilities, but also overall member experience offered within our 4AM-10PM structure. We offer 2 locations and a wide variety of services free of charge (such as babysitting, sauna, separate women's area, lockers and group exercise classes to name a few) that would cost you in high membership fees at other gyms. We do this to accommodate as much of the population as we can and overcome common objections while also maintaining competitive pricing for our members. That is why sub par reviews such as this really sting. we work hard to offer the best to our member, and though we understand your position, 24 hours is simply a business model that a community like this will not support. Sorry to hear that makes us a 3 star gym in your opinion. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your experience.
Negative experience: Not complaining about the facilities but if you decide to cancel your membership you will get a run around. Be prepared to read the fine print.
Gregory, we are sorry to hear you feel this way. That being said our cancellation policy is completely on par with the rest of the industry. In fact, we DO NOT charge a cancellation fee, which is all too common with other gyms. Also, around the time you left this review, we were in the thick of a complete overhaul of our management (front desk) software that may have caused some confusion with our part time staff regarding your cancellation. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, but the software change has actually taken an already simple cancellation process and made it even simpler. You don't even have to be on site, It's simply a phone call or you can even cancel online in our new member portals.
Since your departure, we have actually made several other substantial upgrades. For example, we have put in all brand new Precor Cardio equipment at our Market Street location that combine interactive running features with built in entertainment applications such as Netflix, Hulu, Watch ESPN, Spotify and several other all available in your personalized member account.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I love all three facilities. The machines are great and well maintained. It is a serious gym but not intimidating... besides she likes the eye candy!
