Fantastic experience: When I first moved to the U.S. from Canada, I gained 30 pounds and honestly felt lost when it came to my health and fitness. Then I met Claudia — and she completely changed my life. Over just three months, she helped me lose 21 pounds and, more importantly, gave me the tools, knowledge, and confidence to continue on my own. Claudia’s incredible!! her understanding of movement and nutrition made every workout so enjoyable. She didn’t just tell me what to do — she taught me why we were doing it, and that has been invaluable. What made our sessions even more special was the friendship we built along the way. Claudia has such a great sense of humor, and laughing with her became one of my favorite parts of the week. She made working out something I genuinely looked forward to! Unfortunately, due to financial reasons, I can’t continue training with her right now, but thanks to everything she’s taught me, I feel prepared and empowered to keep working toward my goals on my own. Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for an amazing Instructor that challenges you and pushes you to the limit, While making sure You’re safe and engaging the correct muscles during his workout. So you can achieve the full potential of your workout. I would recommend you joining Shawn’ s hit class on Thursday. He also has other classes and all his classes are amazing. Shawn has to be my hands down favorite instructor at crunch Apollo Beach and Riverview.

Negative experience: I just called I need the GM to call me ASAP I got signed up through the phone without consent by an associate and I just got a charge for $79 I NEVER SAID I WANTED TO SIGN UP I SPECIFICALLY SAID NO I WOULD LIKE TO SIGN UP IN PERSON THANK YOU. The manager on site when I called was no help.

Negative experience: Forced me to drive back and forth to multiple locations to cancel my membership after I moved to a different city. Refused to cancel my membership over the phone, told me I had to drive four hours back home to cancel it. Should absolutely be illegal. After wasting my time with half a dozen phone calls, they finally charged me another full month as a cancellation fee and told me how grateful I should be for letting me not have to drive back 5 hours to cancel it in person. Should absolutely be illegal. Please report all gyms that do this.

Negative experience: If you don’t stop charging my gf’s account I swear to god I’m going to find a way to get her money back from you. Please reach out to me to get her money back or you will drown you in lawyer fees and paper work and publicly shame your company on every platform and not stop until it’s fixed. Fantastic experience: This was my first spin class with Nichole B, and it was an amazing experience. Her energy and encouragement kept me motivated to push through, even when it got tough. The music and her coaching helped me focus, release stress, and reminded me that spin is just as much about mental health as it is about physical strength. I left class feeling accomplished, positive, and motivated to keep going.

Negative experience: 2 of us got memberships here, they put the other's card on file after being asked not to, as payment for our memberships does not require it. They are basically car salesmen, they really made it feel like we could not leave until we bought a session with a trainer. Got to the 30 minute session, we did 3 machines and then just walked around the gym- definitely refund worthy. Asked the trainer what type of workouts you can do when not at the gym, she said "chatGPT can make a schedule for you or find someone on TikTok doing what you want." Sessions are way too much money for THAT. Professional where? Not here. After the ONE scheduled session where I said I'm not buying any others, I've since gotten 4 emails about random classes/sessions I'm scheduled for, THIS is why you shouldn't have a card on file. Also if you guys want to stop sending your minions into people's workplaces to try and sell memberships once a month, that'd be great too. Just an all around greedy establishment that does not live up to the price point- go to LA fitness and actually get your money's worth.

Negative experience: It's very hard to end your membership. I paid my membership off in full, and I did not renew it. I explained to the manager that I have to have hip surgery and I will not be returning. They said over the phone that the membership was closed. I am still being billed for a membership that was supposed to be canceled.

Negative experience: Reverview Crunch Fitness is worst Gym I have ever been to. One of the helpdesk staff called police on me and my daughter for trespassing at the Reverview Florida. My gym membership allows me to bring one person and I have been going to the same location for over a year. Today, my 15 years old daughter forgot her ID and this guy called cops on us. When the cops came, he didn’t tell them that my daughter forgot her ID but instead lied to them that we were trespassing. How is that a trespassing? I called multiple locations and they said nobody should treat us as bad as they treat us. I called the Reverview location back to complain to a manager but these are the same guys who picked up and were laughing at me and hung up on me. Please, don’t go to this location. They have the worst customer service.

Negative experience: I signed up for a membership at Crunch Fitness and have already been hit with an unexpected $122 charge within the first 30 days of joining. When I signed up, I was told my sign up fee would be $1, but this unexpected charge appeared out of nowhere.Fake Advertising is not cool

Negative experience: Been going here for a little over a year and a half at this point. However, this gym plays extremely loud music that cuts through my headphones. I went to the front desk and asked a gentleman. I think it’s fairly new For the most part by a few months, he’s a shorter, skinnier, darker skin African-American gentleman with dreads with a long slender face. I politely approached the front desk to seek assistance to possibly lower the music, he gave me the nastiest look and just stared at me for literally 4seconds as if I asked something strange, and then half rolled his eyes and looked down at the computer and mumbled something. I simply couldn’t hear him because he was mumbling and to my point, the music was loud, I kindly ask him to reverberate what he, he looked at me with a death stare, and didn’t say a word as if it was supposed to intimidate me to leave him alone or something. I felt uneasy about that guy as he gave me creep vibes. It was very unwelcoming, Unprofessional and unsettling to treat any guest like that with no customer service or people skills. For that reason, I decided to cancel my membership just yesterday, Although I have three weeks left to utilize the gym facility, but that really put me off. Overall, it’s a pretty decent job, convenient location with tons of elliptical for easy access for anyone that likes that. I thoroughly enjoyed my time working out there.

Fantastic experience: The Riverview location is big and has equipment I’ve not seen at other gyms. Very clean and all the staff are friendly and always willing to help if you don’t know how to use a specific piece of equipment. They also play really great workout music… helps make working out a little more fun. My personal trainer, Claudia, is top notch. She’s personable, listens to my wants and needs, pushes me with encouragement and humor, and always ends our session with a high five and a hug. She’s the best and I highly recommend her as a trainer!

Negative experience: Icompetent staff that sct like teeange kids try to tell people there is no manager. Can't fix there water fountain for months and blow customers off and treat them like crap. Not a good place.

Fantastic experience: Personal Trainer Claudia West is AMAZING!!! She made me fall in love with going to the gym again after a 20 year absence, and helped my middle schooler become comfortable in the gym environment and actually look forward to working out! Claudia provided the right mix of fun/work/challenge, celebrated our successes, and counseled us through our setbacks. She was welcoming, energetic, communicative, responsive to questions, and provided many supports outside of gym time to make the workout program successful and keep motivation high. I can highly recommend her services without hesitation!

Negative experience: Steer Clear of This Gym: Hidden Fees, Bad Customer Support, dirty, and smelly Take caution when engaging with this gym. Billing is especially problematic; there’s a verbal affirmation of a flat monthly charge, but the actual amount debited is often much higher. To make matters worse, “annual fees” are deducted randomly without any notification. When explained, the reasoning provided is that everything was detailed in the fine print of the contract which assumes no one will read. In my case, I was charged unexpected fees and when I sought help addressing them, I received a dismissive shrug from the staff. In particular, Aiden was not only unhelpful but was lacking in basic customer service skills. Rather than listen to my concerns, he added to them by applying a cancellation charge as a fee. Their gym is also very dirty, employees rarely clean any equipment. The saunas are also very smelly. While their advertised rates appear attractive, don't get tricked. The stress and confusion that comes with the mounting hidden charges just isn't worth it. You'll be better off finding a gym that is direct and prioritizes its customers.

Negative experience: They are very unclear with regards to how they charge their customers. Will verbally promise a monthly rate which varies significantly from what’s withdrawn from your bank account and will withdraw money for “annual fees” without discussing with their customers and justify that it was in the initial contract (which they know nobody critically reads). When I went to discuss these unauthorized monthly rates and other hidden charges with them I was met with a condescending and unhelpful approach by their employees, specifically one named Aiden. He was unable to help with anything and has little understanding of customer service and actually charged me a cancellation fee, even as a dissatisfied customer. Although rates are attractive on advertisement, be cautious and aware that there will be many hidden charges that will accumulate. Don’t waste your time here, will cause unnecessary stress and confusion, it’s best to find a different gym.

Negative experience: I decided to try this place out because it was closer to my home. It was a mistake. If you are considering Crunch, be aware of a few things before signing on the line! First, these gyms are dirty. You rarely see emloyees cleaning anything, they are primarily salespeople trying to sell memberships and upsell gymgoers. It's so dirty that my wife and kids refused to go back after going once ! Second, the machines are generally low-end. Their strategy is to have 3-4 brands of machines rather than sticking to 1-2 top end machine manufactures. As such, many are silly designs and falling apart. Lastly, note that any guest you bring we need to surrender their driver's license and retrieve it on the way out. It's a serious privacy issue and often time gymgoers forget thier DL and have to go back to get it. One final note - they will lure you in saying that it's a dollar the first month and $25/mo there after, with the ability to quit after 3 months. In actuality, they will hit you with $25x3 + $50 termination fee + $125. I would never recommend Crunch to anyone, there are simply too many better options.

Fantastic experience: I signed up for personal training with Crunch at the end of last year. I had two previous trainers who left Crunch and finally have found the one. I have been working with Claudia for a few months now and I can’t recommend her enough. She is patient, understanding, listens and knows when to push you. I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience with her. I have felt more confident, stronger and less lethargic thanks to her. I feel secure when working out and appreciate her for holding me accountable. I would also like to mention that I have been on my TTC journey and Claudia has helped me manage all of that with working out along the way. Negative experience: They take advantage of people my membership was supposed to be canceled a long time ago turns out I've been being charged this entire time for a membership I'm unable to make it inside given I'm on bed rest and can no longer work they have taken every cent I had making it difficult to pay bills with what little money I can get and they still want to charge you an additional 36.99 to cancel your membership I've apparently had an account for over a year now and haven't even stepped foot inside a gym since February 2024. THIS PLACE IS A MONEY HUNGRY CORPORATION THEY DO CARE ABOUT PEOPLE AT ALL I WOULD RECOMMEND A GYM THAT WILL ACTUALLY TAKE CARE OF YOU.

Negative experience: They will scam and take ur money make sure u don’t get a trainer they stop responding and still make u pay for a trainer even when they don’t show up.

Fantastic experience: My trainer Claudia is wonderful! I always look forward to our sessions. She genuinely cares about your health and reaching your goals. She individualizes my workouts so they are interesting, challenging, and fun. She pushes me a bit more every time. She takes the time to show me the correct way to do the exercise to prevent injury. I highly recommend Claudia to anyone looking for a trainer. You wont be disappointed!

Negative experience: Elcio Aulicinio Borges is The definition of poor customer service I have not been a member of crunch in over a year and I went in there with a three day trial pass because I moved to a new area in Florida and wanted to try out the crunch fitness. I was greeted by Elcio At the front desk, I showed him my three day trial membership email and he rudely explained to me that he would not let me in the gym unless I bought a membership or paid for a day pass. Which is totally fine, but there’s a right way and a wrong way to explain that to somebody. I feel that he is unprofessional and he is a bad addition to the crunch team. I would probably remove him from my employment roster if I was crunch fitness but if you don’t mind losing members on a daily basis, then keep him around

Positive experience: Small but always clean. Atmosphere is good. Wish they had more duplicates of some of the equipment. Sometimes it’s hard to get the machine you want if you go during peak times.

Negative experience: Was there about a month ago and won't be back. Darryl was the associate attending us and made a big fus about not having my ID. Asked to speak to a manager and he refused then as my partner continued to speak with him he said he hoped we never came back and lied about the cancellation reason. Darryl needs better customer service training since he lacks in that area severely. Never had any problems with other staff here in the past just his day to be rude and power tripping. Aside from that the music is TOO loud at this location and men's locker could be a bit cleaner.

Negative experience: they just hired a coach this past week who got fired from another gym the week before for sleeping with multiple members and coaches simultaneously lol be careful who you become friends with at the gym.

Fantastic experience: My Personal Trainer, Claudia, has been instrumental in helping me to achieve my fitness and nutritional goals. I feel so much stronger and my body is much more toned and defined. Her direction, and encouragement has helped me to stay on track. I cannot recommend her enough and only wish that I had found her earlier in my fitness journey.

Negative experience: Would not recommend this location to anyone. The worst customer service I've experience with any Crunch Fitness I have been a member of, normally would have nothing but great things to say so I am hoping this location is an outlier. The poor quality of service is without a doubt a result of the staff members' incompetence and not caring about gym member experience at all.

Fantastic experience: I like the gym layout and its usually easy to get a 30 minute workout in. I do try to avoid peak times when possible. I started a personal training program with Claudia about 6 weeks ago, when I was struggling with bad sciatica pain. She helped me with exercises that strengthened my core and back. I feel much better physically, and I'm currently pain free. I am thankful for her and recommend her to anyone looking for a great trainer.

Negative experience: They would not let me cancel my step daughter's gym membership online or over the phone was in Air Force basic training! When my wife went there to cancel in person they told her they would charge us twice to cancel. Also, they lied/mislead that there would not be a annual membership fee for the first year. Bad business!!

Fantastic experience: I live in Tampa but have come here a few times and while out of town. I love that the staff isn't pushy or trying to sell me more things every time I come in. This is the issue with the one in land o lakes. I recommend getting here early if you can. Young crowd takes up the resistance machines for twenty minutes watching Tik Tok instead of utilizing them. I waited against the wall for a long time today before becoming frustrated and leaving. There needs to be signs like in the locker room to not be on your phone while on them.

Negative experience: Don’t waste your money! The new guy claiming to be the GM does not care about the members and is willing to sacrifice half a decade of membership over a forgotten ID for a guest one time! Completely unappreciative of the dedication of the members.I’ve paid for the premium membership for years just to be able to occasionally bring a guest with me and have not once encountered anything but a welcoming environment. We always remember to bring the ID but just forgot it once after sitting through 30 min of intense local traffic from a car fire. Darryl was not understanding at all Andy made sure we knew he’d be glad to never see us again. He’s the only person at any crunch I’ve ever encountered with this attitude has lost my membership because of it.

Negative experience: So crunch fitness has been calling me all week about an unpaid balance and they did tell me that I needed to come in in order to close my account or cancel my membership. I could not do this over the phone so I went into crunch fitness this afternoon and they told me that I had an unpaid balance of $72 and that I would have to pay this prior to canceling my membership. I’m not paying $72 to cancel a membership When I asked to speak to a manager. They asked me to come back tomorrow to inconvenience myself just a little bit further. My answer was NO. I WARN YOU STAY AWAY FROM CRUNCH FITNESS THEY MAKE IT VERY EASY TO SIGN UP AND TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT VERY DIFFICULT TO CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP AND THEY STILL WANT TO TAKE YOUR MONEY
