Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience signing up at The Worx gym, thanks to Viviana! She was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited to welcome me to the gym. Viviana took the time to walk me through all the membership options, clearly explained the fees, and made sure I understood how to use the key fob and access the gym anytime. Her energy and professionalism made the whole process smooth and enjoyable. If you’re thinking about joining, ask for Viviana. She’s awesome!
Fantastic experience: This gym is very simple and compact compared to others but still provides a variety of equipment for a great workout. Majority of the time it’s not heavily crowded and it has a great gym environment. The staff is always kind and is constantly cleaning the space or organizing the equipment/weights.

Negative experience: Closed the gym by my house and then charged me a cancellation fee after I was a loyal member for 5 years.
Negative experience: Extremely filthy gym inside. They do not clean it. They also ach debit your account months after cancellation. Buyer beware.

Fantastic experience: I was a first time visitor to the gym. I was seeking a second gym close to my work, since I live in Pasco County. Cardio, free weights, stretching areas and workout machines were available. The gym was very clean. Weights were all picked up and properly stored. All the equipment appeared new and was in working order. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The clientele (gym members) appeared to be college age through Senior citizens. The clientele were well managed (NO loud people, NO harsh/loud music, NO slamming of weights). The gym encompasses a single building within a business plaza. Therefore providing plenty of parking (paved). The parking spots were spacious with easy access due to a wide two way ventered lane driveway. Entering and exiting the plaza was easy since it is on a corner lot off of two main roadways. 24 hour access for basically $16.00 per month, other reasonable fees apply. If I was a local resident. This would be my gym/fitness center: affordable pricing with 24 hour access to a well maintained gym.
Negative experience: They closed the location my daughter was going to after only having her membership for a month. They charged her another month and the yearly maintenance fee! It's been over a month and I'm still getting the run around about a refund.
Positive experience: Been coming to this gym for a year. I’m going to start with the good, then go to the bad. The good: inexpensive/24hrs/has everything you need for a good all around body workout. Normally pretty quiet and calm in the gym. Staff is super nice, helpful and empathetic. The bad: -cluttered- sometimes feels cluttered due to small size of gym, and placement of equipment. Understand there is only so much they can do about that, minimal complaint. -gym equipment consistently has problems. Row machine gives no resistance on the negative of a rep. Abduction/adduction machine lacks range of motion. Assisted pull-up missing weight for assistance. These are a few issues and they have been consistent for the whole year I have been here, and I let them know of the issues multiple times. However no fix seems to be done. Multiple cardio machines have quirks to them also, but this you can usually work around. -no hand sanitizer stations for hands besides bathroom. This one is my biggest knock because it’s the easiest to fix. Used to have hand sanitizer bottle by the front desk for the first month I was there rest of the year have been here there’s none to be seen. They have what I believe is simple green in bottles spread out among the gym to clean the machines off. But I’m not putting simple green on my hands. Barbells, dumbbells, and a lot of handles are disgusting even though you see the staff regularly cleaning (props to that). Overall for the price. feel this is expected. Besides the hand sanitizer thing, and some machines consistently having problems, it’s a solid gym. You can accomplish any workout you wish in the gym. And it being 24 hours is great. However for the price EOS/crunch can be the same product and has more amenities, only issue there is those places will have way more traffic. Main selling point is how empty the gym can be besides on Mondays.
Positive experience: Has a lot of good equipment but I just wish they had an actual locker room instead of just restrooms. They don't allow you to take bags onto the gym floor and have you put it into cubby's at the entrance which is fine if they were bigger but they're pretty small.
Negative experience: Don't use these facilities!!! They will rob you blind even if you cancel in person with notice! The female owner Maryam English is the most unprofessional business owner I have ever met and also the most useless. She is completely dependent on her manager.
Positive experience: It's a good gym for a simple workout. I went there about two weeks ago, and it was totally gone, like, no equipment, nothing. I didn't get any email or anything, not even a note on the door. Ugh, it was the closest one, and now I gotta cancel my membership.
Negative experience: I would give this gym a higher rating, but the key card did not work for me and a few other people tonight. This was my first time going as I am a new member. Other members should not have to stop in the middle of their workouts to help people in. I work nightshift and go to the gym at odd hours. So, not gaining access is a major concern. I did enjoy my time working out there, and look forward to going back. It wasn't busy and I didnt feel self conscious about being a newbie. Please update your entry system or something. It's not fair for people to pay a membership for something they can't access.
Negative experience: This company closed down their boyette location and continued to charge individuals without offering a service. These business owners don't practice proper business ethics.

Negative experience: I've been a loyal member at WORX Gym for over a year, consistently paying my membership--even during months I didn't go. I recently noticed a charge of $67 that I didn't recognize, so I reversed it through my bank until I could confirm what it was for. When I called the gym to get clarity, the first employee kept placing me on hold to ask someone else basic questions. She eventually told me she was from a different location just covering a shift and couldn't help but would leave a note in the system for someone to follow up. I'm not sure that note was ever placed. My payment date is set for 7/11. Days later, today, When I called the gym to ask about it, the first representative I spoke with sounded visibly annoyed by my questions about the charge. When I mentioned I had never missed a payment, she snapped back, "Ma'am, you have missed a payment--in July. ...wait--it was this month??" That attitude alone set the tone for how little they care about their customers. I kept asking for a manger to which she placed me on hold to speak to the location manager, Alvaro. I explained the entire situation and asked if he could remove the late fee considering I've never missed a payment before this, and the charge wasn't ignored, it was paused until I got clarity. He told me he couldn't remove the late fee, even with a clean payment history and even though I've supported this small business for over a year. I explained that as a full-time working mom and small business owner, I make sacrifices to pay this membership when I could easily go to a cheaper gym. His response? That I was free to cancel and that removing the fee wouldn't be fair to "10,000 other customers," even though I was never shown or sent this so-called policy he kept referring to. I also asked if I could speak to someone above him, and he flat-out said no, claiming the owner doesn't deal with these matters. As a business owner myself, I found that unacceptable. What shocked me most was his comment that if I chose not to pay, it would "hurt me in the long run" by going on my credit. That kind of language toward a paying customer is not only unprofessional, but a huge red flag. At the end of the day, it's not just about the fee, it's about how customers are treated. Loyalty, integrity, and common courtesy go a long way in business. Sadly, WORX Gym doesn't seem to understand that. If you're considering a gym that values its members and treats them with basic respect, look elsewhere.
Hey Diana , we did speak over the phone and I explained the situation to you in the best manner possible. Unfortunately we are unable to remove that late fee but we help our costumers removing a fee from our billing company. We strive to have an amazing costumer service and always training our front desk to do better. As a business owner yourself you delegate task to your employees and have task you handle yourself. Furthermore, we care about all of our member and try to get back to them within 24-72 hours and do our best to find a solution. I appreciate you being a member and hopefully we continue keeping you as a member!

Negative experience: This gym was idea due to the location but after 2yrs, I'm ready to look for another. It's irritating when the equipment doesn't work properly! The treadmills are outdated and only a couple work half way decent, same for the ellipticals. The other machines always need servicing. It's terrible when it takes a lot of motivation to get there then stuff doesn't work. I don't even think management cares. That's the sad part.
Negative experience: I don't know which one of you establishments it is, please stop playing bass music past midnight when we're trying to sleep.

And to be clear, the middle fingle was in response to your employee literally laughing at me as I left the facility. - Thanks for caring about your community members, and thanks for proving my initial point that of instead of laughing me out of the building, it really only took around 15-20 minutes to address my concern Cheers ‐------------ One of their clients is waking up the entire surrounding neighborhood with loud music every morning around 2:45 AM. With security measures they have in place, it probably wouldn't take more 30 minutes of effort to find out who it is, and kindly send a business-related phone call to this client asking them to be keep basic courtesies in mind. Or simply put a sign on the door reminding clients to take it easy on the noise at 2 AM. Instead, they are not willing to do anything about it. It's really not a good look when a business shows zero concern for the very community where many of their actual clients live.

Positive experience: Decent gym. The equipment is a little dated at the Apollo Beach location but the crowds are minimal and you have what you need for a decent workout. No frills but it gets the job done.

The gym has mostly everything you need for a full workout, we were only disappointed it didn’t have a locker room but I now understand it’s more of an in and out gym which is why it’s so fairly priced. Fantastic experience: I've been coming here for 5 years and have made substantial progress. Equipment selection is quite good, it's a lot less overcrowded than Crunch, and it's open 24 hours :)
Negative experience: Extremely rude and disorganized management. I stopped in to claim my guest pass and was told by the employee that he would start my three day pass the following day. Taking my license and everything. He said that the following day, all I would need to do is to give my phone number and I was good to go. So I show up the following day with my gym attire and everything, just to be told by the woman at the counter that because I didn’t have my drivers license with me and I was from out of town, that my guest pass is invalid… And I would need to pay $10 on the spot to use the gym that night. I was also interrogated heavily. “When did you sign up online? Is this *really* your first time here?” What a different reception than I had had the previous day. I get the policy… But out of a common decency, at least honor what the previous employee said. And see that I had come out of my way with my gym clothes on, ready for my workout. Even if I was a local resident, I would avoid this place. You have been warned.

Negative experience: If I could I would give this 0 star! When I first joined everything was fine but after not going to that gym for a while, I tried to cancel. When I first called, a guy said I had to write a letter (very old school and weird) and I asked if there was any possibility I can just go up in person and cancel and they said no that was the only way. I had something come up and completely forgot about this. So when I called again, I asked the same question and this time another rep (woman) said I always had the option to go up in person and cancel (even though I explained to them what the first person told me and they even sounded confused). So I went up there and paid off my balance. After that I asked the woman if there are going to be any more charges after that so I can make sure nothing else should be charged and she told me no and Im all set (also she never gave me my receipt for the paid balance and she said she has to keep that one for record and I requested for another receipt and she said she will have someone email it to me so I was fine with that). Then few days later I was charged AGAIN. I called in and spoke to ANOTHER person and he said hes been working there for years and knew the cancellation process and told me the charge was for canceling earlier than 30 days (I was NEVER told there was going to be fee for canceling earlier than 30 days). I complained to him about this and told him I practically paid $70 just to cancel with them and was told different things. He apologized and explained to me the woman I spoke to was new and should of informed me about that and said he will try to have the General Manager to contact me about the issue. Gave him my name and contact information and waited 3 weeks (this was around the holiday so I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt). After waiting that long and no phone call, I called back and spoke to the same person and he said because of the holiday they have been busy or haven’t been around to do it, and he will reach out the general manager again. And now a month later with NO PHONE CALL AND NO EMAIL RECEIPT THAT I REQUESTED, I got scammed out of $70 because of lack of communication and some of employees not knowing how to do their job especially the general manager. This place is so unorganized and seems like no management is ever available when it comes to this type of issue. PLANET FITNESS IS BETTER THAN THIS BEAT UP UNORGANIZED GYM AND I DONT REALLY LIKE PLANET FITNESS! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO BETTER GYM!!

Fantastic experience: I have been training at Worx on Progress Blvd since right after Covid in 2020. Juan has been my personal trainer but all of the staff is willing to help if needed. The gym is clean; you don’t have to wait to use the equipment and the music is pretty good. My body has changed significantly and I would highly recommend the gym to anyone who is looking to improve his/her body.

Negative experience: I signed up online for a 3 day guest pass. It was not communicated that I could only use the pass during staffed hours (9:00 AM onward) so I never got to use it. I decided to go in and give the gym another try as my schedule has changed to working out in the evenings. When I got in, mid conversation with the very nice lady at the front desk, the manager called her back and left me standing there for 5 minutes while she had an heated discussion. I was left standing there not knowing what was going on. The manager then came out with a very combative attitude and told me I was out of luck with my 3 day guest pass and would have to buy a one day pass for $10 which they would credit if I chose to enroll, even though I never got to use my 3 day pass. I guess I will be sticking with Fitness for $10 even though it is a longer drive. I’ve been there for 7 years and their staff is always extremely friendly. Best gym in Brandon. Hopefully they can properly train their managers on how to deal with customers before they lose more over silly things like this.

Negative experience: Do not join this gym. I signed my son up for one month prior to us moving out of state for him to go to college. I called and canceled at the end of that month and the young man over the phone told me no problem Mr. Hinson we know Cooper will take care of it. Fast forward to today when I check my bank and I have been charged the past three months. Which is even weirder, considering the fact this was back in July that I signed him up and there was a 2 month gap where he was not charged. When I called, I got a very rude individual name, Marco. That only gave me the solution of sending a certified letter to cancel yet again and pay a $25 fee.

Fantastic experience: It is a good place for a GREAT workout no matter the time. Location is basically perfect with other merchants and very well lit [for late nights], which often has security (police) patrolling the area. Staff and patrons are all very chill and always focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and robust fitness place that's friendly and filled with motivation! Come for a visit and stay to get fit!!

Negative experience: Far better gyms then this. Not a place you want to associate yourself with. If you want mediocre, this is it. The people at the front desk are rude. Some woman came in (had an accent), someone said she was the owner and that she's crazy- she was so rude to a customer, I've never seen such gross behavior from a woman before. I'll pass on this place and I'll be sure to let others know to find better.
Yes, she runs a tight ship over there! That front desk is on top of everything and nobody gets in without being a member. We’re having a guest pass or paying a guest fee. The members love that and if you were a member, you would love that too! We just don’t let anybody in our gym like most gems too. That’s why we’ve been sosuccessful. Our members appreciate the hard work that we do and that our staff do. You take care yourself and we hope you find a nice gym somewhere.
Negative experience: Sadly my son check out this gym for us to start training at. He took advantage of 3day pass. Staff at the front desk was nice; equipment seemed to be maintained and not too busy. We were strongly considering purchasing a membership when a woman rudely questioned my son who is an adult, about being in the gym, made him show id Again and then said he couldn't be there because he didn't live in riverview. Very disappointing, my son was asked to leave and felt extremely embarrassed. Keeping Eos membership for now and will continue our search

Negative experience: Purchase membership owner rude nasty no introduction. Paid for guest monthly called my guess a trainee because we was working together. Cancel membership right then and there. She will have no success

Negative experience: Best thing this gym has going for it is that it truly is 24/7 access. Unfortunately a lot of the machines are broken and always seem to need maintenance. All TVs except one show advertisements only so I can't watch sports, news, or even the Olympics while in the gym. Also just an FYI they require a 30 day notice to cancel and charge a $25 cancellation fee. Overall the experience was a disappointment.
Hey Augusta I understand that you did not like our cancellation fee, but we provide the information at the signed up. Furthermore , we allow our members to transfer their membership to someone they know so that way everyone saves money. Negative experience: Update: I gave my 30 day notice and learned there is a 25 dollar termination fee along with paying the additional month. I feel this is unfair to customers if you are giving a 30 day notice. I would also state there is no point of advertising yourself on the screens since people already selected your gym to attend. Therefore the advertising is pointless other then showing the personal trainers. Football season is starting and your customers should be able to watch highlights while working out!! I been a customer of this gym for couple of years now. I notice a decline in up keep. I also noticed there is nothing but advertising on the screens. I understand the need to earn additional revenue but, it doesn’t have to be ever tv. Ever other tv could show sports while doing cardio or weights but you have to watch advertising the entire workout. Furthermore, I notice ants throughout the gym. Now I’m all about working outside and doing my cross training but it does concern me about the up keep. This gym used to have entertainment in every other screen, used to be very clean with all the paper towel holders filled.

Negative experience: I signed up to join the gym back in 2021, cancelled the membership in person and advised them to remove my banking information from the system. I have been charged for 2 years and they refuse to refund my money and take my account out of their system. I constantly call, the owners will not return my phone call. My ex called upset because they refused to remove the accounts from the system and they decided to only inactive the accounts but didn’t remove automatic payments. So the membership is cancelled but I am charged monthly. Do NOT sign up for a membership at this gym.
Negative experience: Signed up and was charged for 2 months. Went in to cancel a shy of my first month and they said they can’t unless I sign a paper which states I have to pay a 25 dollar fee. If I’m not under contract and I can cancel anytime I’m not sure I have to pay to cancel. They told me they would keep charging my card until it gets sent to collections. Seems kinda petty but I told them I will not give them another dime and I left. They have my entry key so I’m wondering if they still going to keep charging me even though I don’t have access to until gym I do not wish to renew I do not wish to be charged and I will not be back into your gym. Your company is real petty over 25 dollars. I got charged for 2 months and I only used one so I’m confused on how I have a past due balance ♂️ anyways I will be fighting whatever you guys try to over charge me with and if I have to take it to court I will. I suggest you leave me and the membership I don’t want alone instead of scolding me for not “following procedures”
Hey James I hope you are doing great, I understand your concern and I wish we could solve this problem. Whenever you cancel the membership you have to paid you cancel fee and whatever you have in past dues. You came in to day the 26th, after you payment of the annual fee and monthly payment was not processed. We were going to waived that annual fee for you to help you out, but looks like you are not willing to follow our procedures. You will be getting charge for your membership due to having a membership that renews monthly. Furthermore, you not having access is because of late payment. Feel free to stop by and make the past dues payments , and pick up your key if you wish to use the facility. I hope you have a great day.

Negative experience: Worse gym, never going here, i canceled my membership and they still charge me, i did a stop payment and they sends to my credit through a collection company. I just pay and they lose me as a customer and i will make sure no one go there too. Petty
Thanks for being a member for two years. You can’t just stop payment and expect that to be your notice/choice of cancellation. You need to cancel the way you promised when you enrolled. No one slammed it down your face. You were notified many many times. We were a great gym when you were using it. Right?
Positive experience: This is a functioning, good gym that is owned locally rather than a big box like Planet Fitness or Crunch. There are some issues that I believe deserve addressing. Much of the weightlifting equipment could use some treatment, whether it be broken, squeak loudly, or just not really work as it's broken. There are folks barefoot all the time, that doesn't bother everyone but it definitely wasn't my favorite! There was always someone in the gym live streaming their workout, making it hard to walk by folks without appearing on camera. I'm not a fan of this in a gym, it just makes me feel uncomfortable being filmed and livestreamed in the background. The folks working at the establishment are awesome, the 24 hour open with a card is really helpful for busy folks, and there are good upsides to the gym. It just feels like it's important to mention the things that make this gym less comfortable of an environment.

Positive experience: About to cancel my gym membership. Theres a guy (that works here) seems like hes a trainer African dude screaming and YELLING in the gym. Like it’s a football game, screaming and yelling at the entire facility. Like dude, we dont need a hype man. Grunting saying “woo woo” like were going to workout to get away from life and i can hear you through my headphones, and my HEADPHONES ARE ON LOUD.
Fantastic experience: The staff here was super friendly and amicable, amenable even. I accidentally spilled my energy drink during my set and they were prompt with cleaning my spill and reassuring me. The equipment was in very good condition and the patrons of the gym were also very nice and respectful. Please consider coming here for your next workout.
Negative experience: im very disappointed, unhappy . first time to get membership never told me about have to tell them to cancel membership 30 days before and i need to pay 48$ !i didnt know that ! like lier take money from clients ! employee bad take care customer service! they fight mouth to mouth with client ! be careful when become members ship ! this is employee fault ! not client ! and client to pay them fault. bad behavior ! never comeback and introduce everyone
Fantastic experience: Front desk people are nice. Always have access to the equipment/machines I need without much, if any, wait. Clean. Good music. Most people have good gym etiquette.
Negative experience: The absolute worst when it comes to customer service. I have been a member at this gym since they opened it. I had some charges and waited for over a year for the manager/owner to call me back. Made several attempts left several messages and they could not call back. This gym is owners by a husband/wife. Still maintained membership because it’s convenient 24 hours and close to my home. Today I called and requested a credit for a late fee and requested due to my debit card expired and the young lady that answered the phone said no sorry can’t do that. At this point I have come to terms that you just don’t care about the experience of your customers. I will be cancelling effective immediately. Don’t expect much from the ownership at this facility.
