Positive experience: The gym itself isn't bad. The reason for 3 stars is the amount of annoying teenagers that stand around the machines messing around and not even using them. Brandon is much better.

Fantastic experience: I have LOVED my time and experiences here at Crunch but sadly am moving to an area they do not have Crunch Gyms. I had the honor to train with Melissa Colon who was AMAZING!! She listening and heard what my goals included and created personal sessions including a “fun” Friday session that included all aspects of my training goals. I would recommend anyone work with her. Thanks Crunch! And Melissa, you’re THE BEST!

Fantastic experience: Love ,love, love this gym! It's such a great environment, very friendly customer service. I'm here at least 5 days out of week. and they get to know you on a first name basis ,If you ever have any questions about your form and or workouts they're more than willing to help. and they also have personal trainers on board,many different classes that you can take through out the day , an in house day care cycling classes etc .I really feel at home oooohhh and the have a sona,massage chairs and a tanning booths. Definitely a great place to reach your fitness goals....

Negative experience: From day one they screwed my paperwork ..keep giving me the runaround. I paid for three months because supposedly you have to have a 90 day commitment that was never told to me .. a yearly fee come up here to cancel it and they’re still saying that I have to pay another month this place is a joke.

Negative experience: Charged me 20 to for kids crunch.its usually 10 a month Called to ask why. They said they raised the price. Never got a email. Nothing posted in gym about it. Bad business practice to raise prices without saying anything Told me nothing they can do about it. Also probably won’t respond. They only respond to good reviews. Not bad

Negative experience: Absolute worst customer service. Front desk staff are incompetent and when an issue comes up, management does little to resolve. While I understand mistakes happen, when the same mistake happens by two different staff, management should be doing something to ensure their staff are properly trained. Noah, the assistant manager, was no help.

Negative experience: Do not give the franchisee of this location any money. I had signed up a few years ago for a rate of $9.99 a month, which increased to $22 a month this year. I had stopped going altogether when I came back from a hiatus and one of the employees joked about how I clearly hadn’t worked out in a long time. I tried to cancel my membership online but couldn’t do that. I tried to cancel my membership on the phone but was told I couldn’t do that. When I came in to cancel in-person, the guy working there was very polite but informed me that I would have to pay for one extra month of membership (it’s currently August and my membership will be billed through October) which is ridiculous. Even if the franchisee’s scummy billing practices are legal, they should be discouraged and I hope this review dissuades someone from putting more money in the pockets of them.

Negative experience: If you don't workout here on your way to work then you will have no issues. I've been coming here over 4 years now with an active full time member for 3 of those. Almost every other week there is an issue with the water. Either no hot water, no water, water cutting in and out during the shower of extremely low water pressure. Today was probably the 5th or 6th time where there was no water and they don't send out any advance notice. I drove 20 minutes to get here and and as I'm scanning in they say the water is out. Every so often they send out a survey after you workout asking about your visit. Multiple members and I comment on the water issues literally every single time. I know I've done it probably 10 times now. They just spent a bunch of money renovating the place and did nothing for water issues. Time to find a new gym. I will say though the staff is awesome. All the trainers and front desk folks seem like cool people. Just management/ownership obviously aren't concerned about fixing actual issues or listening to the surveys. Don't waste my time asking me to complete a survey if you know you're not going to do anything.

Negative experience: Shame on this business practices, legal scamming ain’t no joke don’t bring any money to this business. I have a real and honest business relationship with YMCA now. I was coerced in this gym. Whenever I signed up for gym membership, I was not let aware that there would be a commitment to this gym, I just wanted to try it out and see how the gym was but I’m glad to say I will never step foot at a crunch gym ever again once I pay to cancel a membership I didn’t even know I had because I had reached out to cancel it multiple times. Extremely frustrating that this business allows that type of behavior, never trust a business that can’t be genuine and only wants to profit even if it means taking advantage of people. Also, I did sign documents but the person who did so did not give me an opportunity to read the agreement and then after the fact I signed it without being given an opportunity to read the agreement, then was I told there was a commitment. So I was not completely aware of what I signed into and now I’m being forced to pay for a service that I never used. Also, they tried saying my phone number was out of service when I have multiple phones and the phone number on file at this gym is my personal phone number that is in fact, still active so no one contacted me telling me about my membership. I spoke to the manager but he was no help, and told me his general manager would say the same thing. But if you read this and see the problem, and help me by canceling this membership and allowing me to pay only to cancel, I would change my review to a 5-star as that would be help. But making me pay for months I didn’t even step foot in this gym, that’s borderline robbery.

Negative experience: I canceled my membership in December. Got charged again in January because gyms are bs. They just charged me again for my membership, that I canceled, six months ago, and currently live over 2000 miles away from the nearest location. Pathetic customer service.

She is dedicated, focused, pushes me when I need it, and recognizes when I’m overdoing it. Fantastic experience: @kellyfitzpatrickofficial AKA—Me…stopped in for a lift at Crunch here! Loved it! I’m a big fan of this gym! Looks like it was recently redone and the locker rooms even have coded locks on the lockers! They are missing some Bars on the squat/deadlifting platforms but have a large variety of machines. As a powerlifter/strongwoman this is a pretty decent gym for its size. Gets the job done!

Positive experience: Aight so boom, first at Crunch-Bloomingdale and started with the spin class with Krystle, class was insane, hands down one of the best classes from here to Texas! But Gigi at the front desk…superb guest/customer service, you need something she got you, messed up the locker combo…she got you, or just a good laugh between sets, she’s your girl!

Negative experience: I signed up for 90 days of training with Corin, which began February 17th. On May 29th, I trained with her on leg day, which landed me in the hospital with a subchorionic hemorrhage near the baby, not her fault at all. It's just something that happens. But how this was all handled is what got to me. After that, I was placed on pelvic rest and informed the gym via email on June 10th that I could no longer train for medical reasons even though she was informed the week earlier that I wouldn't be back due to those restrictions. No one responded to that email so I followed up by email again on June 14th and texted Corin directly even though my friend who had training sessions with me and her already told her I wouldn't be continuing training due to restrictions I was put on weeks prior. No reply from Corin. No, how are you? No, how's the baby doing? Nothing. Just silence. So much for caring about your clients... I was still being scheduled and charged for training sessions - even though our 90 days had ended June 2nd, and I had clearly told Corin a month prior when she offered the 20% discount to renew that we were not renewing. They even acknowledged a session on June 5th that I never attended, which makes me question the integrity of how sessions are being marked. I was scheduled weekly after that and kept canceling on my end. Finally, I got a call from the front desk - not our trainer - on June 15th, telling me that I needed to come in and sign a paper to cancel after she read my second follow-up email. Why weren’t we told that when we declined the renewal weeks ago by our trainer Corin? When we came in June 16th to cancel due to medical reasons that should have been canceled June 10th, we were asked if my best friend and I were a couple and if this was our baby insinuating IVF or that we're gay. Completely unprofessional, wildly inappropriate, and flat-out offensive. We are both married women, and it is NOT okay to ask your members personal questions like that. We were told we were within the cancellation window and wouldn't be charged again by Ant. Then we got charged again on June 20th... When we returned to get this fixed, we spoke to every single manager there including the general manager who never said a thing standing behind everyone and instead of apologizing or correcting the billing error, they blaming the billing department and tried to talk us into freezing the membership stating, "because they assumed we were a couple we should just run with it using my medical excuse." What kind of customer service is that? All while Corins roommate stood in the corner looking at us, laughing (I don't know her name). This experience has been nothing but frustrating, dismissive, and incredibly unprofessional from start to finish. The only staff members who were remotely genuine here are Noah and Gigi. I'm highly disappointed in Corin... We were with her for 90 days just for her to not actually give a damn about me as her client. The trainers need to be more communicative and upfront. Stop with the scamming. She acted as if she didn't know when our 90 days was up whenever we brought up that we were not renewing and never mentionedI had to sign anything until I started complaining. It was only until I called the Brandon location that I was actually treated like a human and was helped with canceling my membership in total. I will not be back... Jose, Matt, Kirk, Corin, and James all need to be retrained in professionalism, empathy, and customer service. When someone brings MEDICAL RESTRICTIONS from the hospital, that triumphs anything. I will not be back, and I will never recommend this gym to anyone. Regardless of all of this happening, the 90 days were up June 2nd, and we expressed MULTIPLE times that we weren't renewing, even declining the 20% discount. Never to be told, we had to sign anything. Just sneakily kept scheduling and charging... and how do you acknowledge sessions that I was not there for? Lol, they obviously didn't care that I am high risk and / or about my baby. Do better!!!

Fantastic experience: Great gym with great atmosphere. Spacious and plenty of equipment. GiGi is incredible and was beyond accommodating during every visit. Was in town for a week visit and she got me set up with my week guest pass. No hassle, smooth experience. Will definitely return! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Negative experience: Nearly impossible to cancel membership and they offer an advertised free kickoff thing yet don’t tell you you’ll be charged 60 dollars for it. Scummiest gym chain out there
Negative experience: it’s an okay gym. I want to go to the gym to work out and do what i need to do and not be harassed everytime i go to sign up for something. Your already taking my money for a membership i don’t need to sign up for everything under the sun.
Fantastic experience: I recently joined crunch after searching for a gym that I felt fit me best, and this location was just that- it has great amenities as well as great machines for most workouts!

Fantastic experience: I train here periodically when I visit my family in Valrico. The gym was remodeled, and there are a lot of improvements. Good array of equipment, including several hip thrust machines which is unusual compared to most other gyms. The locker room and bathrooms are spotless!

Fantastic experience: I always train at this Crunch when visiting family in Valrico. Great gym with lots of equipment including 5 Concept 2 rowers! It's vibrant but has never been so crowded you have to wait for equipment when I'm here. Really large variety of free weights, machines, cardio equipment and functional fitness areas. Day passes available for visitors.
