Fantastic experience: Just joined & have had very pleasant experience

Negative experience: Was a member of Crunch Chamblee for 5 years with no issues. I transferred here in December and have had nothing but issues with shady billing/membership tactics from management. I was suddenly charged a card processing fee although I paid through ACH. My contract was changed from month to month to annual without my knowledge and now they're refusing to allow me to cancel without paying a full year. Chris the new manager refuses to respond to my emails and is conveniently never there when I show up. AVOID!

Fantastic experience: The staff is welcoming and friendly, which creates a positive vibe when you walk in. Checking in is quick and simple, and the facility is kept fairly clean. Overall, for the price and amenities, it’s a solid gym option in the Dunwoody area.

Fantastic experience: Anthony has been nothing but friendly and respectful every time I’ve come to the gym. I have never seen him before until recently, but he makes a big difference in helping me feel comfortable, especially on days when I might feel a little self-conscious. He has taken the time to check if I need help with a machine or exercise, and that extra attention goes a long way. His welcoming attitude truly sets this gym apart and makes it feel like a supportive, no-judgment place to work out. I am hoping they keep him around more often.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough great things about Anthony! He’s one of the most knowledgeable and approachable people at the gym. Whether you’re brand new to working out or more experienced, he makes you feel welcome and supported. He takes the time to explain proper form, gives helpful tips, and genuinely cares about your progress. What really stands out about Anthony is his positive attitude—he’s always encouraging, patient, and makes workouts feel less intimidating. You can tell he’s passionate about fitness and helping people reach their goals. Every time I’ve interacted with him, I’ve walked away motivated and more confident in my training. If you’re looking for someone who is professional, friendly, and truly invested in helping others succeed, Anthony is the person to go to. He’s a huge asset to the gym and to anyone lucky enough to work with him!

Negative experience: ⭐☆☆☆☆ This has been the worst gym experience I’ve ever had. I signed up and only went about 3 times since December of last year. I left for basic training and completely forgot to cancel my membership, yet Crunch Perimeter kept charging me every single month even though I wasn’t going. When I reached out, I explained my situation and even asked if they could work with me on a lower payment since I hadn’t been using the gym. Instead of helping, they refused and sent me to collections. That is extremely unfair — especially when they know members aren’t using the facilities. It’s not right to take advantage of people like this. Be very careful before signing up here, because once you’re in, they’ll keep charging you whether you go or not. Worst customer service and worst experience ever.

Negative experience: The corporate management of crunch has gone way downhill over the last 2 years. Your credit card will start charging you more than what you signed up for. They have never mopped the floor in the fitness room and it's gross. The staff are good people, but are also at the mercy of corporate and way underpaid so they have ridiculously high turnover. They also pander and incentive people to leave 5 star reviews for a free shirt or whatever, so keep in mind the rating is overinflated compared to what it should be.

Fantastic experience: Super convenient near the downtown of Duluth, big parking lot and the staff is super friendly , looking forward to all the workouts and fun

Negative experience: Overcrowded, and run by rude staff. Machines are always taken, and management doesn’t keep their word. I followed their own cancellation instructions, and they still refused to honor it. If you join, get everything in writing — or better yet, find a better gym

Positive experience: Extra charges on extra charges. You can go talk to them, but they’ll make false promises on “fixing” the issue, wait two months and you’ll get extra charges again. Considering changing gyms entirely, stay away. Don’t fall for promotional scams, just do a basic membership with no classes if you’re going here. Above all else don’t trust Anna. Notice how they never respond to poor reviews. Lack of care and ethics.

It’s the smallest one that I’ve been to out of roughly 4 or five locations and like all the others it is very clean and well managed. Has a great vibe with a younger crowd. Crunch Fitness absolutely dominates LA Fitness. If you’re looking for a Jim to join, you have found the right one. Crunch Fitness has a wrap on the gym industry in terms of commercial fitness experience. By far the best gym I’ve ever been a member of. ‍♂️

Fantastic experience: I recently joined Crunch Fitness, and I couldn't be more thrilled with my experience! A special shout-out to Banks, who made the signup process incredibly smooth and quick. I was in and out in record time, after telling him I only had 15-minutes before I had to hop on a meeting. He was lovely and set such a positive tone. The highlight of my time so far has to be my first spin class with Redina (I hope I’ve spelled that right!). She was absolutely phenomenal as an instructor. From the moment I stepped into the studio, her energy was infectious, and she guided us through the class with encouragement and enthusiasm. I came in feeling a bit nervous, but Redina engaged with me and the other attendees in such a fun way. Instead of leaving the class exhausted, I walked out feeling energized and accomplished! She pushed us just the right amount, and by the end, I felt like I had really challenged myself (and worked hard, in a good way). Thanks to her amazing instructions and positive reinforcement, I’ve genuinely fallen in love with spinning. If you’re looking for a motivating and inspiring class, I can't recommend Redina enough! The class was “The Ride: Let The Beat Drop.” (Music choice was on point!). If I see her name on the schedule, I’ll be doing my best to make it! I can't wait for more classes. Thank you, Banks and Redina, for helping me get excited about fitness again!

Negative experience: I’m surprised it’s not a fire hazard with the amount of people that are in this place. Barely enough equipment to do anything in under 45 minutes without having to wait for things to clear out. Even on the weekends it’s wall to wall. Also good luck finding two plates of the same weight in the same spot. It’s almost like once people use a plate once it disappears not to mention they have the music at max volume 24/7. I can’t even hear my own thoughts

Fantastic experience: I frequent this Crunch Fitness location since it’s close to the art studio I attend, and I really enjoy coming here. Though it’s not the largest gym, the vibe is always great, and it feels like a place where I can truly focus. The staff is incredibly friendly and always makes me feel welcome. It’s the perfect spot to recharge after a creative session. I always leave feeling energized and ready to take on the next day!

Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the service. I downgraded my plan in July 2024, and not only was the downgrade fee deducted immediately, but my plan fee for August 2024 did not decrease as expected. To make matters worse, this month I was charged the fee for my previous, higher plan again. How can you deduct the downgrade fee and still not update my plan to the new rate? This is completely unacceptable. I have been a customer for almost two years, and this experience has been infuriating. How many times do I need to bring this up before it gets resolved? This level of incompetence is both infuriating and unacceptable. After countless follow-ups and wasted efforts, I was finally promised a refund. It has now been seven months, and I have yet to see a single cent returned. The refund amount is just $10, but the time, frustration, and energy I have spent chasing it down are worth far. At one point, I stopped following up, but I was triggered to ask about my refund again when I considered canceling my gym membership. I requested to stop my subscription on my payment date, February 16, 2025. They then claimed that cancellations require a 30-day notice, and since February only has 28 days, my request would extend past the March payment date—meaning they would charge me for both March and April. I was absolutely shocked. Every time I inquire, they act as if this is the first time they’re hearing about it and come up with the same pathetic excuses—“It will take another month,” “Paperwork is pending,” and other ridiculous delays. Yet, when it comes to deducting money from customers, they have no problem doing it instantly—no delays, no excuses. But when they have to return even the smallest amount, suddenly their entire system becomes incompetent and broken. This is beyond frustrating—it is a complete scam and proof of the worst customer service and management imaginable. Their entire system is designed to exploit customers, waste their time, and frustrate them to the point of giving up. Absolute disgrace.

Fantastic experience: As a group fitness instructor and member of Crunch, I can truly attest to the diverse community, high quality instructors, and wide variety of class types! Crunch has something for everyone, no matter what fitness level you’re at!

Fantastic experience: I've had a great experience at Crunch! For the price, it's a fantastic value. The gym is clean and has everything I need, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I've been a member a few times over the years as I've moved in and out of the area, and I've found both the signup and cancellation processes to be quite easy. Plus, the location is very convenient. I've noticed some reviews mentioning hidden fees, but that hasn't been my experience at all. My advice is to simply read your contract carefully before signing up. Everything is clearly laid out, so you can make an informed decision based on the information provided. Overall, great experience! Crunch Perimeter is Awesome!

Negative experience: Take a second to scroll the reviews and notice that they only respond to positive reviews which indicates a whole host of problems with management. They lack accountability and turn a blind eye from much needed improvements. You can have an average business that does well because of exceptional service, but you will not succeed in the long run with the opposite. Bad customer service is not a sustainable practice. This gym needs to reconsider its hiring process and prioritize taking on staff members that are professional, competent, and kind. If you don’t need anything crazy in a gym, the Planet Fitness of Sandy Springs has been a great switch for me and have always had positive conversations with the staff. Zero issues over there with billing as well, which is why I would recommend PF to anyone instead of Crunch.

Difficult Cancellation Process: Customers are billed unnecessarily for months when trying to cancel, with no straightforward online option to manage account changes. 4. Inconvenient Processes: While enrollment can be done online, any other account changes require dealing with an uncooperative front desk. 5. One-Sided Rules: Policies seem to favor the service provider, making it difficult for customers to get fair treatment. 6. Misleading Promotions: “Free month” offers come with strings attached, ultimately trapping customers in agreements that cost significantly more to exit.

Negative experience: Worst consumer service. 1. Unhelpful front desk. They blame it on corporate back office for mistake they do on the account, I doubt if ethics exists here at this place. They had me enrolled on wrong plan. 2. A lot of hidden charges 3. They will have you pay unnecessarily for months when you want to cancel. 4. No easy way to cancel online, you need to go through this unhelpful front desk every time if you need to make any changes. But they can enroll you online. 5. Rules on their advantage. 6. Dont fall far 1 free month, you end up paying hundreds of dollars just to come out of their agreement.

Negative experience: A cool place but lots of broken treadmills. Come on guys use our fees well. I’m counting 6+ treadmills out of order right now. Worth it to go to more updated locations.

Negative experience: I signed up for a free 3 day pass with the intention of getting a feel for the gym and 99% purchase a membership here. Immediately was greeted by someone with a sales pitch full of falsities and fluff. First I was told the 3 day pass is only valid for 1 day so I wouldn't have the chance to get a feel for the gym after that day. Second, I was told many lies saying the promotion was only good until that night and I'd need to sign up now. After refusing to sign up because I wanted to experience the gym and atmosphere, I was scoffed at and dismissed. This whole interaction made me feel very uncomfortable. He took 30 minutes of trying to pressure me, argue, and go back and forth and I barely even wanted to work out after this interaction. The questions he asked regarding my goals were insensitive and leading like "how much weight do you want to lose?" when I hadn't even said I wanted to lose weight. When I was leaving another worker informed me "this deal is good for another 3 days" to which I responded, "it's available to everyone within the next 3 days?" And he confirmed to which I then responded, "the previous worker I talked to said it expires tonight and I won't be able to receive that deal" and then the guy started back tracking so I said "so now both of you have lied to me. I came in with the intention of getting a membership and everything you guys have said since I walked in has convinced me not to, you just lost a potential customer." I wont tolerate lies, judgment, and disrespect in a place I am supposed to feel welcome and safe especially as a woman being told by men.

Positive experience: It's a small place. The equipment works good, not seen broken machines like LA Fitness. Their water cooler never works. Always gives warm water. If you go during the time when they have open classes, the trainers train with a mic and it's very annoying and disturbing for others. At least the gym is clean.

I like to give a shout out to Caden, Anna, Justin, Jermaine, Tashaan, Josh and Sierra And many others. They’re very friendly and professional And extremely helpful. I highly recommend coming into this gym at this Specific location. I look forward to coming here every time.

Negative experience: Visited this gym as a guest with my husband to see about switching to be closer to my job- as someone who works out daily and has a membership at another gym, this gym was horrible. Even worse than PF. I’m not sure if all Crunch gyms are this small but this was soooo crowded and small. Every where you workout you are basically in someone else’s space. The showers were even close together. The shower pressure was so weak. Also the curtains covering the showers and dressing rooms, were distasteful. The appearance of most things were very outdated. I can’t imagine anyone wanting to workout here. The fees for this type of place, is truly robbery. You can find upgraded, less crowded gyms for the same price, if not cheaper. Just a warning to others who may be looking for a new gym.

Fantastic experience: Buffy, Buffy, Buffy!!! I have a hate love relationship with Buffy! Her classes are so challenging but in the best way. Her pilates class works muscles I didn’t even know I had. As soon as the class starts, I automatically think to myself “what did I get into” but I keep coming back. I’m so glad she teaches at the perimeter location. I hope she never leaves.

Negative experience: They are aweful if your thinking of getting a membership don't . They charged my account during covid every month and gym was closed. I cancelled them finally by going in person when they became active they still made me pay a 79.00 annual fee for the year after I cancelled face to face . DON'T go to this gym the staff is rude they will charge your account when they want without your authorization. They will run it on whatever date they feel and if they make a mistake they will NOT refund you or correct the error. The gym is small and also smells bad as well and they don't keep it clean well at all . They need to disinfect due to diseases. WIPE down your nasty machines .

Negative experience: They promoted their service for a dollar. Then it’s a monthly fee of $30, with various packages available, some cheaper. But when two people tried to unsubscribe, they were charged $130 without prior warning. If you just want to lose money for nothing, sign up for a session, try it once, spit it out, and then cancel—but they’ll still charge you. They stay silent about this when you want to unsubscribe. Instead of giving a proper tour of the gym, they actively promote their paid services. Only when we stopped them and asked for a tour of the gym did they finally do it. After paying for 1-2 sessions, it became clear that it was a very uncomfortable gym. The air conditioners couldn’t handle the heat, and the fans blew so hard that you ended up wet after the workout, standing under a fan, realizing it could easily cause a back problem. People were very loud, everyone shouting for some reason—it seemed more like a hangout spot than a gym. The equipment was placed very close together, making it uncomfortable to work out. I wouldn’t write a negative review if, when unsubscribing from their membership, they had told us they would charge $80 for two people, but now they’ve charged $130, and that’s just too much.

Negative experience: I've been a loyal member of Crunch Perimeter for over a year and have genuinely loved the gym, the equipment, and the classes. The staff has generally been friendly, and it's always been a great place to work out—until recently. Unfortunately, I had a very negative encounter with the manager, Anna. Despite having gone to the gym for over a year without ever being asked for my ID, she was extremely rude and snarky when she suddenly demanded it. Instead of offering a reasonable explanation or handling the situation with professionalism, she was quick to threaten to cancel my membership over this issue, which felt unnecessary and hostile. I’ve always followed the rules, and this experience left a sour taste after what had been such a positive time at the gym. It's disappointing that one person’s behavior could overshadow what otherwise has been a great gym experience.

Positive experience: I love this Gym, at the same time traveling state to state there is no rhyme or reason to what hours are open for every gym. One gym is 24 hours, one gym closes at 9:00 one gym closes at 10:00. This would be five stars if they actually stayed open till 11:00 Monday through Friday. People have lots of schedules and they're trying to go to the gym. Maybe 24 Hour fitness is a better fit. Great staff, Great equipment, annoying classes that should be moved away from the bags and put in a separate room that they have, and really loud people in the sauna. This would be a five if they stay consistent with hours Monday through Friday.

Negative experience: I signed up for the $0.01 enrollment and one month free promo only to be charged the full month a few days later. When I called and spoke with someone, I was told to come in and the manager would refund me. I go inside of the gym only to be told that the rep entered the wrong promo code which is why I was charged in error but they couldn’t give me a refund bc it was already taken out of my account. This pissed me off bc I’m now being affected due to the reps error. I do not appreciate this at all and this isn’t a great first impression. If you sign up on any promos with this gym triple check to make sure it’s entered correctly or else you will be charged and not refunded.

Negative experience: Staff does not respond at all!! I’ve recently taken a membership and wanted to cancel it due to that I wanted to take a break as I’m on medication. I went in person to ask for membership cancellation. And they said, twice that come next day - I did! Due to this, as days were passed, I had to pay monthly membership fee. If they responded the first day I wouldn’t be charged at all! This is a bad experience!!

Fantastic experience: The staff was extremely welcoming and kind from the moment I walked in. It’s super important to have a friendly staff at gyms because it can be super intimidating especially as a new gym go-er. I appreciated their guidance to help me get acclimated to the facility.
