Negative experience: The sauna suck it doesn’t get hot. Good idea maybe change the glass door to a full seal door

Fantastic experience: The One Life Fitness (OLF) here in Dunwoody, Ga is pretty awesome but the real Rock Star is the Early AM manager Camera! She really holds it down in the morning! Camera always have a smile and is very personable, friendly and is always on time to open up the club for us "5 AM-mer's". Actually, she's there early so we can get our workouts on! I don't know how she does it but she's the best! Always has a bright, energetic & infectious smile and a friendly greeting. Camera get's my vote for the 2025 employee of the year! You Rock Camera!

Negative experience: All that contract and talking, no one ever specified that your membership fees are due for the remaining of your contract upon cancellation plus $50 fee. I’m sure it was said that way on purpose and isn’t in bold on the contract for a reason. Luckily I’m not in a bind but very shady practices.

Negative experience: I couldn't make it through the parking lot without 2 people asking me for money...and people sleeping at 3pm beside the building by the stairs. No appeal to spend time or money here. Apparently homeless go inside to shower with you from what the other reviews say. Clean it up onelife.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming to OneLife with my friend for the last 3 months, and it's been a great experience! I am by no means a gym guy, but this facility has really impressed me. The machines are always clean, the staff is friendly and supportive, and the other people who come have all been so nice. I'd highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Incredible gym and staff! Called to check out day passes while here out of town for some medical things. Getting a day pass was a breeze. The facilities are great, and they had more equipment options than any other gym I've seen. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I switched from another big name gym to One Life Perimeter, and I’m amazed at the quality of this gym. The staff is so sweet and helpful, it’s really clean space, and the amenities are very nice. I’m so happy a made a switch and got the premiere tier membership!

Negative experience: The gym is great, until every time you leave the gym some "non profit" is outside flagging you down asking for money. Stop letting people harass your customers. Seriously considering leaving if this continues.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym. It is always clean. The staff is always extremely friendly and Robert Jones my personal trainer is extremely smart and articulate. He explains every exercise to the tea, so that I can fully understand why I am doing an exercise and what the results would be. I love working with smart people that know what they’re talking about because then they can teach me the correct way to get the results that I want. Robert Jones does that for me

Fantastic experience: I've been to more expensive gyms than Onelife but I love this Perimeter location the most. It's not too crowded early in the morning. The staffs are super friendly and the facility is clean. The swimming pool is okay, while their hot tub is huge. Their smoothies are delicious too. Just wish they have a calories estimation in the menu.

Negative experience: I joined OneLife last week and have worked out here 5 times. Twice, they were out of towels (that I pay extra to have) and, no matter what time of day, it's pretty crowded, very crowded any time 4:00-9:00pm. There are always plenty of treadmills available, otherwise I've had terrible luck accessing all the equipment I need. I understand that their price structure is probably built to compete with LA Fitness et al., but I wish they would raise their prices a bit and thin this place out because it's a nice club, aesthetically. But it seems there are too many people here for both the staff to thoroughly tend to and the cleaning crew to do anything other than the minimum (the men's locker room smells exactly like you don't want it to)--it's insufferable and I will probably quit. I did quit after two weeks, but they still charged me for the next month. What a shock.

Fantastic experience: they take Medicare advantage!!! Even have a swimsuit rinser in the locker room. Pool, hot tub, sauna! Fabulous staff people. Terrific clean roomy robust place with terrific people

Positive experience: I’ve been working out here for about a year and a half and I must say I have had a pretty excellent experience here, special shout out to the front desk team and management, Cam, Chris, Myers, Payton they have become like my second family as i’m here everyday and see them frequently. With that being said I had an unfortunate encounter with the fitness director O’neal, or oatmeal however it’s spelled. He handled a situation immaturely and made me feel uncomfortable, when I went and tried to speak with him he met me with a nasty attitude, which seems to be his thing. I have had also other members of the club tell me about encounters with this individual. It’s a shame that one individual can unfortunately make the gym (my second home) feel a little less comfortable, there’s always a way to handle things professionally & with grace.

Fantastic experience: Excellent range of equipment. Wonderful friendly staff. Amenities are top notch I had been at LA Fitness and it was awful. This place is a workout heaven at a very reasonable price.

Negative experience: Worst gym I cannot wait for my year commitment to be over. Always full. They be charging late fees even though they have your credit card info already. The tiny pool is always busy and there is always a naked old lady at the lookers.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Onelife Fitness Perimeter for a while now, and it’s easily one of the best gyms in the area. The facility is always clean, the equipment is modern and well-maintained, and there’s a huge variety of machines, weights, and spaces for any type of workout. I really like the pool, sauna, and basketball court it feels like a full wellness center, not just a gym. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the community here is respectful and motivating. Highly recommend to anyone serious about fitness or just starting out!

Negative experience: This review is for the staff at this location. If you’re not a member, you need to leave your driver’s license with them. I left my id there and I had their general manager and multiple employees confirm that they had mailed the license to me. My coworker had also left her license there and she received the same confirmation. We both did not get our ids back. Also, I would always have to wait to get someone on the phone regarding the id. This is just dishonest.

Fantastic experience: Management is on top of it. The place is always clean, including the locker room. Unlike other gyms where the sauna sometimes works, the sauna here always works. And if you forget your headphones not to worry. Their playlist is always on point. No complaints here

Fantastic experience: This is an excellent gym with tons of space, different workout rooms, and classes included in the monthly membership at a super low price. What takes this gym to a different level entirely is the personal training they offer. Deon Montgomery is my trainer, and in less than 5 months, he has completely changed my life. I hadn’t been to a gym in forever before I walked into OneLife Perimeter, and in less than 3 months he had in better shape than I ever thought I would be in. His energy is contagious and he genuinely cares about every client of his.

The facility is always clean, and has everything you would expect from a modern gym and more. I enjoy the various group classes, and like the spacious set up. Negative experience: It's a nice gym and location, but the customer service line and communication are the worst. I travel often and needed to freeze my account only to have service fees and a price increase added upon unfreezing it. I emailed customer service to make arrangements to have fees removed and to make a payment and was met with the account being canceled with no reply or notification. Mind you, I was a member for years without any incidents.

Fantastic experience: Zahria is phenomenal! From killer workouts to get you ripped to dialing in the right diet needs for your lifestyle, she can get you on the right track to any changes you wish to make in your routine! Not only that but she has a spectacular facility to get you started in!

Positive experience: I’m very tired of being solicited every time I walk through the door. They always have someone selling something at the entrance. After a long day, I’m just trying to get a workout in. I shouldn’t have to fight people trying to sell me something every time I workout. It is so annoying!!

Negative experience: Cancelling shouldn't be difficult, esp while I continued to be a customer for over 5+ years and through COVID. Sending me on a run around shouldn't be a thing in 2024.

Negative experience: I am traveling on business and decided to try another gym due to how busy the one I currently use is when I need to work out. I was given a tour when I checked into OneLife in Dunwoody and was pleasantly surprised at all they had to offer and the amenities that were offered. I decided to join and came to an agreement to pay full price for a three month membership so I didn’t have to bother with the whole year gig due to my short stay. The guy at the front counter talked to someone and they agreed to sell me a membership under those terms. The next day I show up to work out, excited to try the new place, only to be rudely welcomed by the front staff. I shrugged it off and went to ride the bike for 30 min. Worked up a sweat and needed a towel and was rudely told that I am not entitled to a towel because I am not a member. I very politely responded that I had paid 240 dollars in order to have access to the full member deal. Not interested and still rude I decided to walk away and go home. I tried to give them an opportunity to make it right by either allowing me full access at that price or refunding my money. Nothing but an automated email telling me that my concern is important. I sent receipt and member paper only to be ignored. I would suggest that if you are interested be cautious and find a place that is a little more friendly and honors a deal.

Fantastic experience: This gym has everything short of becoming a private club. I love the classes, all the equipment, sauna, private closed door showers, hot tub, pool, theatre! This place is a gem.

Fantastic experience: My experience at this Onelife location was by far my best compared to others I’ve been to! To start off my experience, I was met by the Assistant General Manager, Peyton. She was such a joyful sight. Her energy, enthusiasm, and overall welcoming aura made me feel so much comfort in being there! She gave me a little run down of the gym and made sure to answer any questions I had at the time. The gym it self was clean and was monitored with detail by the staff members I saw. I will be back to this location every time I’m in town! Thank you, Peyton and your team for the wonderful experience!

Fantastic experience: I love the gym! Some additions I think they need though. 1. At the bottom in the black floor room, I think they need to change the setup. Make it almost like a CrossFit style or sport style setup. 2. Also at the bottom, heavier DBs. They only go to 50 down there. Other than that, this is one of the best gyms in Atlanta!

Negative experience: lady at the front desk with the brown curly hair and acne was extremely rude. gave me a terrible attitude about the closing time and getting mad that we came in even though we are paying for the membership. will not be coming to this gym again.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym. I was a LA Fitness girl but once I found this gym I became obsessed. I love the equipment and the workout areas around the building. I like to workout in more secluded areas and depending on the time you go you can always find a great spot. 10/10

Positive experience: Been going here for about a year now and unfortunately I think its time to find a new gym. They have allowed far too many signups and now you spend more of your time waiting for equipment than you do actually using the equipment.

Negative experience: Decent gym. Been going 2x per week for the last year buying monthly or daily passes. They’d always hook me up with the member buddy rate of $10/day since I’m always there. Today Peyton was at the front desk and wouldn’t do it, when I mentioned Ben would always hook me up she said “well Ben isn’t here anymore.” I understand they were doing me a favor in the past and I may just be petty, either way I’ll be going to another gym starting tomorrow.

Negative experience: Warning! SIGN AT YOUR OWN RISK! I have tried multiple times to cancel my membership through email. Now, my year contract is supposed to end May 11th and they are PROHIBITING me from cancelling without paying $59, even though I put the request in on April 11th. 30 days before my May 11th billing. They are claiming that it is not 30 days before the billing cycle, because now they are choosing to bill me on the 10th of May instead of the usual 11th. Mind you, I have put in requests to cancel my membership months ago, so they were fully notified that I wanted to cancel my membership and did not want to go past the 12 months. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL of their customer service is EMAIL ONLY and it takes them DAYS TO RESPOND. I put in my request on the 11th they responded on the 15th. THIS IS A SCAM and likely fraud. If you’re have already joined, good luck getting out without paying the absurd $59 fee plus next billing cycle. The gym itself pretty decent. They have nice machines and a pretty nice layout. I pay $40 a month for massage chairs and towel service, BUT IT IS NOT WORTH IT. The massage chairs SMELL LIKE FEET, because they do not wash them! And the towels are hit or miss, but they're not always super clean, and you can see in the pictures I posted. Also, they do not clean the jacuzzi, so much scum and muck floating around. You also cannot bring guests. You cannot downgrade your membership. In conclusion, the staff at OLF are not very forthcoming about the membership contract and their cancellation policy, which makes me question the ethical integrity of this business. UPDATE: I was partially refunded for my membership, because I tried to cancel before and they said I wasn't able to... idk.. but that was nice so I updated my review.

Negative experience: Notified a staff member of a car parked illegally in a handicap space. Another staff member folding towels in a pink hoodie Interjected (called herself Alexis but she’s probably lying) and SCREAMED at me for suggesting the property enforces the ADA. Yikes. I didn’t join a gym to be verbally harassed by employees over trying to help. It’s a shame that the gym considers any of this as acceptable. Especially since I got called and threatened by the manager following the interaction. As a disabled combat veteran, I cannot support this activity. Will be cancelling membership right away.

So I was referred by a friend, when I called the young lady that answered me on the first ring was Payton she was super polite and welcoming needless to say I was at the club within a few minutes! I haven’t been to a gym since Covid years . All my anxiety flew out the front door ,Payton was very informative and welcoming! Thank you Payton

Negative experience: The gym itself is fine. But the staff is RUDE. I came in for a quick morning workout. I didn’t have the app on my phone yet and asked if I could provide my phone number to check in. Brown, curly haired female at the front desk said No and to take out my phone and download the app. I let her know I was in a pretty big hurry because it’s the morning and I’m trying to get to work and asked if I could check in for now with my phone number and add the app later. She continued to argue with me and literally would not let me enter the gym to workout without downloading the app that minute. She was RUDE and argumentative. What kind of gym doesn’t let their member check in and workout? Choose one of the other gyms in the area that is more member friendly.

Negative experience: Just wasted an hour of my time at this place. I scheduled a Smart Start with a gentleman at the front desk yesterday. I came back today only for them to tell me I am not on the schedule! Apparently I was scheduled with a trainer that doesn’t even work at the facility anymore. And I can’t be worked in today. So ridiculous. Thanks for nothing! Now I get to sit in traffic for an hour when I could have been home already.

Fantastic experience: This 5-star review is because of Ben B. Ben B. what a find. OneLife Perimeter is fortunate to have him on their team. He is exceptional. I came in today to, unfortunately, cancel the membership and he was kind. Quite honestly, he provided the best member experience that I have ever received. He made the point to mention that he understood and that I would be welcome back any time. I was not hassled in any way! I felt compelled to not cancel and to drive the extra distance because of his reaction. He even had a great supplement recommendation.

Negative experience: I joined Onelife Perimeter last Sunday(Aug 25) and have worked out twice so far at this location. While I could still find equipment and weights on Sunday, I had a really hard time finding equipment yesterday. The sheer amount of people hogging on to the weights, benches and other equipment is beyond frustrating. If are lucky enough to get a bench to workout on, it'll be drenched in sweat and people don't bother cleaning after themselves. I did not see any Onelife cleaning staff anywhere both the times that I used this facility. This needs to be dealt with on priority, specially with ringworm epidemic going around in ATL. The whole facility smells exactly how you don't want it to smell like; sweat and musty (its even worse in the locker room). I won't mind if they raise the prices as long as the place thins out a bit. If it goes on like this, I'll just end up cancelling my membership.

Fantastic experience: Precious is just awesome. You get a trainer a Nutritionist and a life coach all in one. Definitely do the one hour session with her you'll be burning all kinds of calories if you're trying to tone and build your booty.

Positive experience: Been going to this gym for three years and never had an issue. The employees are extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable but today on my exit of the gym I noticed one of the employees was visibly sick. He’s usually very talkative and happy go lucky but his energy was low, he was wearing a mask, his eyes were sunken in and he looked exhausted. As a gym why are you making employees come in when they’re under the weather? A gym member would be expected to say home under those circumstances but not your staff who keep the place together? It was sad to see and goes against what a gym is REALLY for, HEALTH! I’m not sure if they’re understaffed or what the reason is but a manager should be stepping up when an employee is THAT sick. Hopefully someone hears about this and they do better because it’s unfair to the employees and the members who are going to the gym and could possibly get sick. Do better.

Negative experience: Very Bad customer service. This gym doesn’t care about their members. For months I didn’t attend, due illness and hardships, and the gyn continued to make money off of me. I didn't complain. Then when i switched credit cards and they couldn’t charge me they hit me up with a bunch of fees, as if they're a credit card company that I OWE. I tried to speak with management about resolving my account, but they're never there. Finally i speak to one, and she told me to email them and they will resolve it and remove the fees so that i can reinstate my account. I emailed them, and they refused to remove the fees. I find it disgusting and poor customer service because why is your solution to someone being late on a membership, that they barely even use, to charge them MORE money? Ya’ll don’t know what people be going through in their lives…all ya’ll care about is MONEY.

Negative experience: I used to go to the Windermere location which was truly awesome but I recently moved to Dunwoody and I started going to this location. One of the reasons why I chose Onelife was for the variety of group fitness classes. This location has dropped down to ZERO group fitness classes as of November 1st which is a shame because that’s something they promote a lot and half the reason I’m a member. Not sure what’s going on but this location sure feels like a scam with no group fitness classes at all. I’ve even notified management via email and they’ve done absolutely nothing, even made it worse by taking away the few classes they already had. Don’t sign up for Onelife and definitely don’t recommend this location. UPDATE: Yes, they have [limited] classes…6 classes max a day with only one or two in the morning (6am or 9am) and three/four strictly at 5:30-6:30. I even emailed some manager with specific classes but she couldn’t even reply to acknowledge my request. I cancelled and join the local YMCA as they have way more group fitness classes and times. The Y puts this place to shame as they have Pilates, Barre, Yoga, and Cycle-everything this ‘high end’ gym should have.

Negative experience: I have been a member of this gym chain for almost 15 years. I started working out at Atlanta Fitness Windermere (before one life acquired that chain). Over the few years of ownership at one life Windermere, things were going fine. They kept a very clean environment and had a good selection of equipment, and although the gym was a bit overcrowded at times - I really enjoyed working out at this location. Fast forward to now - I have just moved into the Brookhaven area and started to workout at One Life Perimiter. Safe to say that these two locations are WILDLY different. This gym’s equipment is rarely where it should be, causing you to walk around the gym looking for a cable attachment, barbell clamp, etc. This particular location also has a hard time keeping the place clean. Today during my workout, I noticed that there was a condom wrapper sitting on the floor next to the barbell racks upstairs. I am extremely disappointed as a long term customer of this gym chain, and I am now considering finding a new gym. This happened around 1pm on 5/2/2024.

Positive experience: I go to this gym very frequently and always have a good workout. I like coming here because it’s such a large gym and there’s a lot of options. However, every time I visit there is a female manager that works at the front desk and alway tends to be rude and give me an attitude. It makes me feel unwelcome, which makes me not want to visit the gym anymore. It’s taken me a long time to work up the courage to actively go to the gym, so this deterrent makes me feel discouraged.

Positive experience: I like the gym overall, I see people actually working out and not thinking they’re at the club or something. I enjoy the sauna my fav! The trainer I had is awesome would recommend him, and he’s only 21 years old! I’m using the workouts he suggested. Thanks again

Negative experience: The”squad” over here envy’s the client in the gym. Most of the clients are surprisingly military and feds and lawyers, they allow poor “squad “ members reppin their “set” to tamper with clients cars whenever they are depressed. Post a neighborhood watch cam and rico law all of them involved. They have squad members trying to drive their clients cars they mess with the disabled vets cars daily

Negative experience: I went for two years and the environment has severely declined. From my items being stolen while working out, the basketball court is routinely trashed and not swept, saunas smell like mildew, water dispensers serve lukewarm water, equipment (stair master specifically) always needs repairing. A LOT of high schoolers/young kids (how my phone was stolen), and the staff is pretty useless. I love OneLife and the layouts of this location is beautiful, but the upkeep is poor and unsatisfactory. - Mikayla Wyatt

Negative experience: I called to cancel my subscription; however, they directed me to the member services email. Unfortunately, that team does not communicate effectively. Now, I'm stuck and can't cancel my membership. When I call them over the phone, the gym staff becomes hostile and speaks in an unprofessional manner. I am very disappointed with this experience.

Negative experience: Cancelled, yet received a bill a couple months later with a “credit card return fee.” My credit card info has not changed since cancelling and is and has been functioning fine, no changed card number, nowhere near the credit limit, etc. I emailed them informing them of their error and requesting they charge the card on file as they have been for years - they ignored the content and simply replied telling me to pay ASAP or there would be more fees. Everything you read online about their membership department being terrible is true. I would say it’s an honest error but this seems to happen to everyone who tries to cancel.

Fantastic experience: Mikes had great energy as soon as we walked in!! The layout is so beautiful and thoughtful. I was sold with the movie theater!!

Negative experience: Does not keep sauna and facilities clean nor equipment up to date but charges for upgrades every year. I have voiced my concerns multiple times with no action.

Fantastic experience: First time at this gym and I really enjoyed the environment. Lots of equipment and space. Diverse environment that motivates you to keep pushing.

Negative experience: Good space and amenities. But it is definitely not a good Onelife location if you are looking for classes. They were always good with that but kept dropping its amount and variety. Disappointed!

Negative experience: Do not go here they take money out of your account and then hang up on you before giving you money back. If you were a good manager you would stop scamming people I agreed to pay 19 a month not $49 and you don’t even offer to help me give me gas money when your withdrawn of a fee I never agreed to pay comes out of my account without warning! I am changing my bank I don’t trust the people who work at this place

Fantastic experience: I’m giving Dalia and Miles five stars for their fantastic and wonderful customer service. They were extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, friendly, and patient with me. I would definitely recommend this location.

Positive experience: Decent gym, but huge problem with theft in the men’s locker room. Have had my locker broken into on 4 separate occasions.

Negative experience: They keep charging you even after getting written confirmation of membership being terminated. They even changed the name that the direct debit comes from. Don’t give them your bank info.

Positive experience: I enjoy the gym. My only complaint is the people at desk are always on their phone and fail to even notice you are standing right in front of them. Also act like you’re bothering them while they engage in a conversation.

Negative experience: It’s really disappointing how dismissive the team members of the membership department have been, I’m referring specifically to Andy & Hope. Ben has been great! I have reached out to them multiple times to cancel my membership as I no longer live in the area. They haven’t even acknowledged my question around why I can’t get an immediate cancellation, they just said that my account will be charged one more time next month. It doesn’t make any sense!!

Fantastic experience: I belong to several high end gyms in my area. One Life has the best equipment of all. Noise level is contained and the place is spotless. Most of all the front desk staff, Chris, Dalia, CJ, Miles and Ted great me warmly when I walk in asking if I need a towel. As Im leaving they give a “Have a great rest of your day!” My other gyms don’t compare with the staff at this facility. Yoga instructor Asha is warm kind and a terrific instructor. I must applaud the owners who instilled the best practices to the staff at OL because it shows! Best of all the price point is affordable and a value for all you get w a basic membership. The trainers are bent on giving the best workout possible in the 30 minute appointment. I wish my other gyms were this good as they are closer to where I live!!

Negative experience: Me and my wife just moved here a few days ago for work and wanted to continue bodypump so we came here. Our 2nd day there, a Chinese woman attacked my wife for closing the door during a 6am class. She was in a car accident so she needs the ballet bar for lunges, and has OCD/ anxiety about people watching behind her in gym classes. No one intervened to help my wife during this time, and my wife ended up crying through the entire class. She had a panic attack and no longer feels comfortable there. Please do better.

Fantastic experience: Best Onelife location in Atlanta. The basketball court is small, but a great option. Lots of room for everything. Could use some more cable and smith machines, but all in all it's a great gym for the value. Also love the yoga classes at this location.

Negative experience: DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS GYM! They are professional scammers!!! I would give them a ZERO start rating if I could. I canceled my membership in person on August 2nd 2023 and called again to make sure this was noted. At that time, no one informed me of any procedure needed to ensure that the membership was canceled. I started getting harassed with phone calls of a "balance" on my account. When I informed them that i had asked for a cancellation both in person and over the phone, I was threatened ABC financial that my balance would be sent to collections. They tell you when you sign your contract that you can cancel at any time once you've been a member for at least a year, but they intentionally make their cancellation process extremely illusive so that you have no idea how to end the contract until they can bill you for additional months and claim that you are delinquent. I was a loyal member for 3 years with them and am extremely disappointed. They're no better than crunch fitness with their shady business tactics. Do not sign up

Fantastic experience: The best gym that I been in USA the staff are very friendly and has all equipment and amenities like pool and sauna. I came from NJ for a week and they give me the opportunity to pay for a week, thank you

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this place. Clean and welcoming environment. Everyone is so nice and helpful and knows their stuff. Even when it’s busy you can find a space somewhere to get your workout done and people don’t hog equipment like other gyms I’ve frequented. They have so many things to offer you are bound to find something to get you motivated to go to the gym everyday. They have a wonderful assortment of equipment. The locker rooms are beautiful and clean. I love it here!

Negative experience: This gym is to hot. If you are a heavy cardio person you will be drenched if you work out there. This location is close to my work but its much to warm inside there. I leave drenched and its to much. Felt dizzy trying to run because I was overheated in there. Hoping that they will make adjustments to get it cooler in there. I have visited other locations that were the perfect temperature.

Negative experience: UPDATE: Wish I could do negative stars. I have cancelled my membership in Feb 2023 and they are STILL charging my account. This company is full of crooks and incompetent managers. DO NOT join unless u plan on using this membership for the rest of your life. Do not join. It is extremely easy to sign up and everyone is pleasant when you do, but when you need to cancel no one can help you and they continue to charge you for months after. Awful customer service.
