Fantastic experience: Clean and sufficient for my weightlifting needs.

Positive experience: Nice barebones gym. Limited equipment and older. Could use some updating internally.

Negative experience: On Memorial Day, my family visited the center and left around 5 PM. During our visit, we noticed that the bathroom was not clean, and I was bitten by unidentified bugs. Although there were two staff members present at the time, they did not acknowledge our presence or offer a simple farewell as we left. It was unclear why they were there, as they seemed to be merely observing people without engaging. This experience left us feeling unwelcome and concerned about the overall maintenance and hospitality of the facility.

Fantastic experience: Was leery about trying a new place in a new town. Very clean gym with modern equipment. Staff when on duty is very helpful and knowledgeable about equipment and fitness routines. If I could ding one thing, the phone answering during staffed hours leaves a little to be desired and the option on the voice mail thing are slightly confusing as it takes ya to another answering point that doesn’t identify themselves as being affiliated or in partnership with fitness premier, and they immediately start asking personal info after saying “we have your phone number and associated account”. An additional bench press and some duplicates of frequently used weights of the dumbbell would be swell. Other than that. Very nice place and still gets a 5

Fantastic experience: Fitness Premier Champaign is THE BEST! Drew, Andy and the rest of the staff are awesome. They always have a smile, are very welcoming, and are very knowledgeable and helpful. The gym has a great community of friendly patrons as well. We are currently enjoying using the machines, weights, and the video classes (especially yoga). We have also taken and enjoyed Team Training and Yoga classes.

Fantastic experience: Love it but sometime the 25 lb dumbbell was are used and it takes too long to get them. Maybe find out which ones are used the most and get double. Have never see someone use the 100lb. Just suggesting.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff. Large enough gym to get around in. Clean locker room. Would like to see an additional bench , seated dip machine, and alternating curl machine added.

Positive experience: I love that this gym is so trusting to let me work out independently after hours. It seems that every hour of the day there is a little community of people who regularly work out more or less together. The one aspect that keeps me from giving them five stars is the lack of a decline bench.

Positive experience: Awesome gym space. They are slowly getting new equipment. But some of the TV are broken.

Fantastic experience: Josh, Isabelle, Stephen, and everyone who works there are wonderful. It's a great gym and in a great location. I enjoyed the workout classes quite a bit and was consistently encouraged and pushed. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I love that this is a smaller, more quiet gym. Even when it’s busier, it’s not loud or overwhelming to a newbie, which is great! No loud, throbbing music. The staff is welcoming and helpful.

Positive experience: Quite expensive in registration fee & monthly. Some of the equipment are outdated. Small space for what you’re paying for! Limited equipment as well so you gotta have patience when you come here! This place can do better.

Positive experience: Great place to workout! Medium size space, they have lots of machines, a variety of classes, and the locker rooms are clean too. They even have water massage chairs available! The only thing is it’s a bit pricey $40/month for members or $10 to workout for a day. Overall, a great place to workout.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member for almost a year. I started in Mahomet and am going to Champaign at current time. The trainers are very friendly and accommodating, the overall atmosphere is light and positive. The gyms are clean, well maintained and exceed my personal needs. If you need supplements they are generally stocked to accommodate that as well.

Fantastic experience: So fun and easy in terms of the coaches telling you what to do so you don’t have to structure your own workout. Great people at all levels and good music. I am loving it.

Negative experience: The only way to cancel your membership is to sacrifice your newborn child live and in person. The general manager personally asked me to give them the blood of my child so they could drink it too. Just kidding, I wish it was that easy to cancel a membership.

Negative experience: BEWARE! (1) Protocols were not followed during pandemic; tried to contact manager and never heard back; was not able to use club for several months due to people not respecting mask mandates and utter disregard by management. (2) Difficult to cancel -- called several times and kept getting redirected. I no longer live in the town and was asked to fly back to the town to cancel. A month later and after being charged one extra month, I was able to cancel by spending another hour looking for ways to cancel. Refused to refund me for the extra month charged. I tried to be understanding and supportive of the club, but this is the last straw. I'm filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Fantastic experience: Fitness Premier is my favorite gym that I’ve been to so far! Wish there were a few more weighted machines but all in all this gym is amazing! It’s always very clean and the staff is super friendly as well. Thanks Fitness Premier!

Negative experience: These guys have been charging me 10$ a month for quite a while now, despite never having heard of or been to this establishment. Apparently cardinal fitness shut down and these guys are allowed to continue charging me money for something I never signed up for. Never received a call or notice of any of this. Can't speak to the quality of this gym, but with financial practices like these I cant imagine they're going to last long.

Fantastic experience: I started personal training sessions with Josh Schunke at Fitness Premier in Champaign a few months ago and have been very pleased with my experience and the results! Josh does a great job of explaining how to utilize the movements properly, and always carries himself with a positive mindset. Thanks for setting up such a comprehensive workout plan Josh!

Fantastic experience: 8/15/2020 Fitness Premiere of Champaign. The gym is awesome - well equipped, spacious and aesthetically pleasing. And so is the personnel there, very responsive to my questions in person or phone during office hours or email at other times. Being older, I have distinct training needs. These are being consistently addressed in a way that is very appropriate to my fitness level, interests and personality. The staff shows dedication at every turn. I am greatly enjoying my training there because of tremendous competence of the trainers and meticulous upkeep of every piece of equipment and cleanliness of every corner of the facility. I am regular there at least 5 days a week because I enjoy it so, and I am becoming stronger. Thank you Josh Schunke for all you are doing for me and all the members!

Fantastic experience: Bright, clean and well maintained; the owner Josh is on site all the time, it seems, and is happy to teach you how to use unfamiliar equipment safely and effectively. A great selection of fitness equipment, now socially distanced. Conscientious members of all ages and in all stages of fitness. Almost never crowded, from our experience. If working out could ever be a pleasure, it would be there.

Fantastic experience: Deluxe, modern, well equipped gym, with many VIP style extras! Convenient location & continuous access. Cheerful, friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Negative experience: All they needed to set up my membership was my credit card. When I requested to have my membership cancelled, they demanded CIA-like security clearance. Won’t recommend.
