Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Keegan for personal training and he’s been great. Very knowledgeable, friendly and fun to work with in the gym!

Negative experience: The yoga classes were the only good experience I had. Everything else was just disappointing or frustrating.

Negative experience: I really like this facility however I never see people disinfecting the facility. Yes it’s up to those who work out but it would be so nice to see the facility cleaned at some point. It smells in here 90% of the time and it just feels very unsanitary. This is common for all fitness premier locations. Please discuss this with the team. The smell has got to go.

Fantastic experience: This was the gym I chose to workout at while in town for work from Indianapolis. My first visit Amanda gave me a full facility tour and was always helpful whenever I couldn’t find a piece of equipment that I was use to. Every time I returned Amanda was extremely friendly and we had great conversation. The facility is very clean and has top notch machines and weights. Wellness Spa was an added surprise. I cannot say enough about my two weeks going to this gem of a gym!

Fantastic experience: Best fitness center in Kankakee County! They have a sauna and human touch massage chairs and Cryotherapy bed. Just the right amount of equipment and space to work out.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is friendly and helpful. Jake H. kicks my a** every week. I signed up to become stronger and learn proper form in order to pick up and transfer my special needs daughter. Since joining the gym, transferring her has become easier and safer! I can hear Jake in my head “drive through the heels, shoulders back, … and so on. I also join the fitwave classes. Brandon was MADE to do those classes. He is energetic and motivating!

Fantastic experience: Great and knowledgeable staff. Fitness Members are friendly but keep to themselves, and are helpful, and do acknowledge your presence, at least in the mid- morning. Some are there before work and are busy and in their zone. You do have to wipe down any use of fitness machines and massage chairs. Not everyone does. But that's my issue. Lol

Fantastic experience: Learning how to use the equipment and how many reps etc. Been Great the first month of training now I know enough to be on my own. I wil be 79 in October and want to improve my conditioning. Fitness Premeir has showed me how to do it. Not trying to become a body builder, just stay in shape.

Fantastic experience: Keegan’s genuine kindness is part of the reason I opted to join - I stopped in on whim He sat down and took time to talk and happily answered any questions I had. He’s genuine kindness and patience( answering questions happily with a was so appreciated and made me feel comfortable) He’s a true assets fitness premier he makes all feel welcomed

Fantastic experience: This place is INCREDIBLE! I have been working out at Anytime Fitness for years and am quite frankly upset that I havent found Fitness Premier until now.... would recomend to ANYONE!

Positive experience: It has been a long time since I have been back in a gym and everyone at the Manteno FP has been great!! Very supportive, friendly and helpful. The extra TEAM classes are a bit pricey, but they are a great workout!!

Negative experience: Staff can be rude but are mostly nice, depends. The facility is very clean. I like to go after work but I like to go in the back room and utilize that space but they don’t allow me to go there because of a class. They also don’t allow me To go in the other room so it only allows me to go by the treadmills or by the weight lifting. Which is unfortunate because I pay monthly and should be able to use what I need when I need it.

Negative experience: Membership rules for not allowing a family member use your own membership. Even though you are paying for it. As well as not adding a plus one option for memberships to pay for since any guest have to pay $5 every time when going to the gym. Then there was an employee that wasn't working at the time give a false threat to a customer even though they could have just been respectful and politely ask them to leave the premise since the customer wasn't even being rude in the first place.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing place. The manager and staff are very friendly. They treat you like family. Always there to lend advice and guidance. The membership is valued at what the economy is at. Can’t beat local convenience and the family atmosphere.

Negative experience: Its ok gym . But the locker room is never clean . I said something before to a worker . She did not care it seem like . I sent email about the issue no response . My thing is if your going raise the monthly gym rates . Kinda expect little more quality. .

Equipment is in great shape. Weights are always where they are supposed to be. Staff is friendly and helpful. I like that they offer classes. Really happy with this place. Good location.

Fantastic experience: GREAT GYM!!! Lots of various pieces of equipment, in great condition. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is comfortable and bright. Everything is super clean, including the bathrooms! Good cardio machine options! The Cybex Arc Trainer is what will keep me coming back. Great gym for such a small town! I could stay in there for hours each day :-)

Fantastic experience: I'm honestly so happy that this is the gym that go to because everyone here is super friendly and just overall amazing. I love that when I walk into the gym I'm greeted with a hello and a smile! I love the positivity here and that there is no judgment here whatsoever! If I could give this place a 10 out of 10 I would because they deserve it so much!

Positive experience: Edit: It's a cool gym. I like it enough to be a 10 year member (on and off). Good equipment takes forever for them to fix it. I'm a maintenance guy it and I know it shouldn't take a month for a part to come in, but it does happens. Some equipment isn't being maintained at all that have light deficiencies that really do effect the quality of the exercise and the impacts the work out, and with a $30 plus maintenance fee that happened every year and like at minimum 100 members in this one location alone. It is pretty much unacceptable to me to have issues that cant, but should be fixed ina. timely manner. Maintenance fee should be for the equipment not the facility itself. That's what my membership fee is for, use your money effectively. However there is tons of other equipmemt, gear, and classes to use and free vibrating foam rollers. which is arguably one of the best things here. The trainers and staff are cool. Really polite, generous with their information, helpful to anyone that comes in. I'd give a shout out but really it's all of them. The owner Mike is personable, I've had a couple issues here and there but he's usually been able to remediate the issue, and I'm happy with that.

Negative experience: Not clean and things are outdated . They do have a cleaning lady . But she just sweeps , clean mirror and pours toilet cleaner. They dont clean the walls at all .

Negative experience: I've been a member with FP on and off for several years and it seems like they're only after one thing... $$. I initially went in to cancel my membership for another gym closer. But the woman at the desk convinced me to just put a freeze on my account to see how I liked the new gym! Understandable. She stated I would not be charged a membership fee.. end of conversation. A couple days later I see a charge to my checking acct from FP. Even though I was NEVER told about this charge & it's NOWHERE in the freeze confirmation email I received.. "your card is on file with us so that means you agree to being charged for certain services regardless of what you were told" as stated by the Manager Rebecca.... I am just shocked. I got another call from Leann who assured me there’s nothing they can do & apparently it's the woman who froze my acct's word over mine (bc she falsified the nite about our interaction) & I wasn't granted a refund. Why do they always have to get something from us? I thought FP was about wellness and health. Never stepping foot in this gym again after that customer service experience & I doubt my friends & family will either..

Positive experience: Manteno location hands down the cleanest one in kankakee county. Bathrooms as well. Weights are always put away and you can tell the people working there take pride in their gyms appearance. The other location could learn a thing or two.

Positive experience: Equipment is great! Love the classes. Michelle is a wonderful coach and tries to explain how to do things at your own pace. While other trainers are not as supportive and push you past your comfort level. One of the reasons I left. And when I did leave they made me feel like a failure. But that is okay. If you want a gym that pushes you this is one for you. But if you want one that is low key that you can work out and get positive vibes going your pace you need to try somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: Local chain of 24-hour gyms that are independently owned and operated. Locker rooms are always spotless and provide a private shower to use. Equipment is up to date and in good working order. Classes are available as well as personal training. Very reasonably priced and you can go to any of their locations.

Positive experience: Good health club with excellent group circuit classes for everyone from the young jock to the elderly. Range of personal training including certified rehab trainers. Could use a bit more resistance equipment.

Fantastic experience: This is a great gym, the staff is great, friendly and knowledgeable. Michael Orwig. Kristen Vega, Rick Ray, Matlowe, and Tate teach great classes that leave you sore. I like that the gym is always clean. I highly recommend this gym to anyone.
