Fantastic experience: We are so glad we found Beach Fitness for our two weeks in Longboat Key. The gym is spotless and has everything we need. The temporary membership pricing is excellent!

Fantastic experience: Vacationed in LBK for years and needed a facility willing to do a weekly membership. Sign up through the website was easy. Access code was provided and Beach Fitness is open 24 hrs a day. Nothing fancy but everything I needed. Appreciated having dumbbells up to 75. Only negative was no towels - need to bring your own. Will definitely be back.

Negative experience: 24 hours fitness, but they won’t honor your daily rate for 24 hours .

Positive experience: Very good basic fitness equipment and descent weekly payment for visitor or tourists.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym! The people are friendly, the equipment is varied and in great condition, and it has everything you need for a good workout. Would absolutely recommend for visitors and locals alike!

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend this gym and Robyne, the owner. She is conscientious and runs a clean gym. We have been members for 2 years and we come regularly. The 24 hour access is really nice too. Every time I have been in, the gym is clean. Most members are great about wiping down equipment after they use it, which keeps the gym and equipment cleaner than other places. Robyne also has day passes for people vacationing here. It’s a great value and so convenient for people who live on LBK or are visiting.

Negative experience: This gym is best suited for you if you like silence and constant judgment from the members of the gym. Make sure you’re not too loud or you’ll get kicked out. Dirty. Unclean. I don’t think this gym was cleaned for two weeks- several cockroaches have ran past my head during a workout. We killed one and it was on the floor for 2 weeks, meaning this gym is not cleaned regularly. Lots of termites, they’re everywhere and dead on the floor. Equipment hasn’t been updated probably since opening. Things falling apart- the bench screw came out. Never enough water cups- constantly out. Constantly out of paper towels as well. Wouldn’t recommend for the price.

Negative experience: After a 3 day road trip from Pittsburgh to LBK, we were in need of a gym to use for the 2 weeks that we were going to be on the island. We came to LBK to get married. So I had a ton on my mind up until our wedding day. Cake, rings, catering, people, logistics, etc... We paid $169 for a 2 week couples membership. I thought it was a bit high. But we were in need. We used the gym 1 day before I happen to notice that our resort offers a gym membership at another RVA resort for FREE. I notified the owner as soon as I found out and asked for a refund considering we had access to a free gym and it would save us the $169 expense. She declined any type of refund. Completely disappointing considering she probably knew how scattered my brain was from all the wedding planning. So we made it a point to visit the gym so see if we could talk with her. And she completely ignored us. It's a shame they weren't more accommodating on such a trying time for me.

Fantastic experience: Im from Illinois and this was the perfect gym for my time while I was in FL. Buying a weeks membership was super easy via the website

Fantastic experience: Wonderful gym. Those commenting otherwise are part of the Proud Boys organization who disagree with the politics of the owner. This is completely unprofessional and irrelevant.

Negative experience: It would be nice if they had some equipment for the disabled, I'm really tired of trying to find a supposedly nice place but looks aren't everything. Wander how many people that are disabled came in and walked right back out. It's high time we start to speak up.

Negative experience: Owner is very strange. Heard her saying something about unwanted babies belong in the dumpster, not the womb. Then a man who I believe is the owners boyfriend, who should be in better shape for his girl owning a gym, had a camera with him the whole time taking awkward pictures of everyone.

Negative experience: The equipment never gets cleaned. Place stinks. Half the machines were broken. Worst gym ive ever been in.

Fantastic experience: I've always been a runner and a swimmer and I'm very new to working out in a gym. I was a little apprehensive and intimidated but Robyne was so warm and helpful showing me around and answered all my questions about the equipment. Beach Fitness 24/7 feels very clean and safe, both when it's staffed as well as after hours. I feel at home here and once already lost 5lbs. I can't wait to try their yoga and spin classes!

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym— ignore the comments they’re angry trolls trying to target a business for absolutely no reason. It’s clean and spacious with amazing owners.

Negative experience: Worst gym for image shaming swollen ripped physiques That may or may not need to growl or grunt to achieve the level of intensity required in training To build above average muscularity. I also noticed a peculiar odor (As one other reviewer mentionedI don't know what a "wet cat" smells like But it wasn't a good smell.)

Negative experience: Went in here to get jacked and tan. The owner started making these weird noises, like autistic screeching, yelling at me, something about "toxic masculinity." Thought this was a gym, not an all inclusive safe space.
