Fantastic experience: Great gym with great coaches. I was a bit nervous when I joined as I was new to this style of training, but all the coaches here are amazing and very attentive towards the quality of movements. Give them a chance, I am sure there will be no regrets!

Fantastic experience: Solid gym with good programming. Coaches are great and the facility is clean. Kaytee, the GM is awesome and Kevin (owner) is just as cool. They welcomed us when Crossfit Bradenton closed down and took us in as one of their own.

Positive experience: I am bummed to place a low review and have done my best to give this gym the opportunity to make my experience right. I’d broken my ankle and had to move in with my parents for a couple months to heal. I found this gym and let them know in advance that I’d only be subscribing for 2 months while I lived in Bradenton. The coach who signed me up had assured me that she noted that end date in my profile and I would no longer be billed after the second month. Fast forward 5 months after that second month and they are still billing me. I’ve called and left voice messages explaining my issue. I’ve emailed the “info” email address they have on file for contact. They aren’t returning my calls or bothering to respond at all. **Update ** Coach Katie reached out this and updated my profile so that I will not be billed anymore.

Fantastic experience: Love everything about this place. The coaches are awesome, they will push you to your limits but not over. They will adapt the programming according to what you can/cannot do. The community is brilliant, its a great Gym family. If you have ever wondered what it would be like to try CrossFit style workouts but have been afraid to do so, don't be. I was very intimidated the first day I walked in but was quickly put at ease and am very pleased I took a chance.

I’m 44 years old, 6’4”, have a surgically repaired knee and not an ounce of muscle or athletic ability, but the coaches at Rackstar have helped me so much these last couple of months to improve my fitness level. If you are experienced or a newbie like me looking for somewhere to improve your overall wellbeing while being pushed, encouraged, but also in an inviting, comfortable setting you have to try Rackstar!

Fantastic experience: Coaches are the best around, very knowledgeable and want to see you succeed. If you have no idea where to start, or even begin looking reach out to Kevin and he will walk you through everything. This place is more than a gym, but a second home. The community is so inviting, and everyone is there for each other and not only at the end of a workout, but with whatever problems you may face. I have never been able to find any place close to this that has a community of such amazing people that makes everyone feel comfortable. I started here about 4 years ago now, and my only regret is not finding this place sooner. I absolutely love this gym!

Fantastic experience: When I moved to Bradenton and didn’t know a soul and hadn’t worked out with a purpose for nearly two years I knew it was time to get back at it. I stumbled into Rack Star where the owner Kevin walked me through the method in which they trained their clients. Immediately intrigued I signed up on the spot. In the 8months I have been a member, this gym has rekindled my love for working out, helped me start to get back into shape, and most importantly given me a community of people that I look forward to seeing and can actually call my friends. 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to hop on her and appreciate every coaches time, energy, and patience at Rack Star, it's because of them I have been able to continue my daily workouts even while being 33 weeks pregnant (currently). I have learned a lot these past 8 months of pregnancy, I've had to change certain movements to be able to get through my workouts but had so much fun doing so. I highly recommend to anyone who is currently expecting and would like to continue safe workouts while pregnant TO GO TO RACK STAR you won't regret it! The coaches know what they're doing and for that I must give you guy's a big thank you! Rack Star Athletics is the best gym in Manatee County!

Fantastic experience: I truly love Rackstars!!! Their program is top notch and their coaches care about your health and fitness. It is extremely important to them that you are lifting properly and doing the exercises correctly so that you are getting the maximum benefit without getting hurt. This gym truly has a family atmosphere where everyone is cheering you on no matter what level you are. I moved from Oregon recently and one of my concerns was to find the exact fitness community I was leaving and the Rackstar's team and members nailed it!!!! Fantastic experience: I was so nervous joining this type of gym, but from the moment Coach Kaytee called me to schedule my evaluation I have felt at ease! She walked me through every step and has been cheering for me and celebrating with me for every success! I am amazed at the level of attention I have received from each Coach! I appreciate the knowledge of each Coach in training me for each new movement, constant correction to make sure I am not injured and their devotion to helping me achieve all that I can‍♀️ Thank you for being different and BETTER than I expected!!

Fantastic experience: Been going to Rack Star for just about 2 years now and we love it. Coaches are very knowledgeable, people are great. Truly feels like we are working out with family. Every workout can be modified to each person’s abilities. Class times throughout the day, to fit any schedule. Free Saturday partner workouts at 8:30 if you want to come try!! You won’t regret it!!

I don't fit the standard crossfit model, but their teaching and encouragment have allowed me to progress in each standard that is measured. Each of the coaches brings a different skill set, but all of them are intent on helping you get better safely. The color level method allows you to, come as you are, and improve from that point. Fantastic experience: I love Rack Star. The coaches are knowledgeable and truly care about you and helping you achieve your personal goals. I appreciate they watch our movements and make corrections if needed.They explain the mechanics of every movement before every workout. For me, a female in her 60's, I need that! I enjoy the members and look forward to going . It's not just a gym. It's the people that make it. They support and encourage you. They celebrate even the small accomplishments. If you are looking for a place to workout, and you don't like the cookie cutter gym concept where you're on your own to figure out what to do, come check RackStar out. Best decision by far.

Fantastic experience: I was at a previous gym prior to moving to the area when I found Rack Star, and I love it here. I honestly think each coach genuinely cares about your fitness goals. They offer several times for classes-which I love, the owner and coaches are ridiculously knowledgeable, and the work outs are tailored to your fitness level.

Fantastic experience: Been attending the gym for a little over a month now. Having been to many crossfit gyms, I can say this one is one of the best I've gone to. The facility is clean and air conditioned (everyone does an excellent job wiping equipment down and the floors get mopped). The coaches are friendly, experienced, and knowledgeable. I've gotten some great pointers to improve my lifting and gymnastic techniques. The "Level Method" is a programming method that sets this gym apart from others I've gone to. It really does help make sure everyone is working to their ability. Great community and great gym. Definitely worth checking out.

Fantastic experience: You will never EVER EVERRRR find an amazing box that can come close to comparing to Rack Star! NEVER. Dedication and passion are two adjectival understatements to describe Kevin, his coaches, his members and his box. Crossfit boxes can definitely be intimidating, but I have always felt welcome no matter which class I attended. Everyone comes motivated which becomes instantly infectious. If you have goals, Kevin is there with you 110%. I have seen great results in such a short time, but it is definitely all thanks to the well thought out individualized plan that Kevin does for his members. There is always a learning curve and adjustments that need to be made in fitness, and Kevin is there to support you throughout the whole journey. Workouts can be customized to your needs, so there is always going to be alternatives that can work for you. In sum, JUST COME and try it because you wont regret it!

I have had the pleasure of dropping in on numerous other crossfit gyms and almost never meet coaches as passionate about their work as Kevin is. Truly knowledgeable and gives his members the tools to live healthier. If your new to crossfit or a transplant and looking for a new community, this is it.

Fantastic experience: I'm a big fan of Rack Star CrossFit for SO many reasons. The owner / head coach and trainers are in there sweating, grunting and growing, right along side you. The other CrossFitters are so supportive. They know that everyone is doing the very best they can with their given resources and at their specific point of the journey. There's always someone there who believes in me, my ability and my potential more than I do. Smiles, thank yous, high fives and fist bumps punctuate friendly conversation and encouragement. I NEVER regret going. I NEVER feel it is a waste of my time. It's the most vigorous and rigorous thing I will do all day. Yet, the happy byproduct is a day that is light and easy and I feel strong and accomplished. That's my definition of a gift. If you are in the Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, Sarasota, Parish, Pametto. It's worth your drive. It's worth your time. And it just may change your life in a powerful positive way.

Fantastic experience: Just taking a quick moment to recognize Kevin Moore, owner of Rack Star CrossFit. This week was the 3rd or 4th time I have dropped in on Kevin. Even though I live 600+ miles away, and have never been an official member of Rackstar, Kevin makes me feel like I belong. In addition, he goes out of his way to make me a better athlete. Fixing form, recommending accessory work, or like today, giving me exercises to ward off future injuries. Also, want to recognize Ashley Sabourin. While I have not had an opportunity to train with her, I have observed her working with two new members going through foundations. She is patient, attentive, and has a great attitude. You can tell she loves what she does, and Kevin is lucky to have her on his team.
