Kenmore Fitness: Opinions
Fantastic experience: 4/3/25 I enjoyed being here. I'm almost 69 and want to get in a little better shape. There were 5 other people here and I was able to access all the machines I wanted right away. The gym is clean and I can go wherever I want, 24/7... and for only $22 / month. One more thing. I checked... any review 4 or more years ago don't reflect the new owners
Fantastic experience: 24 hours that's 5 star alone. Come down off hours and you won't have to wait.
Fantastic experience: Nice little space, 24 hour access and always really good music on. I don’t feel the need to bring my headphones. Very fair prices and no pressure.
Fantastic experience: Nice clean facility with all of the essentials. Great staff communication on memberships.
Fantastic experience: Love this gym. Small with 24hr key card access. Nothing fancy, but everything you need if you wanna lift and/or do some cardio. Memberships are a great price, they don't sell anything, and the place is clean. The community is chill, and workout focused.
Positive experience: Decent gym which is not so crowded.
Negative experience: Scheduled a time to meet and sign up. 5:15pm today 3/21/24. Showed up 25 minutes early. Waited until 5:25. Was told averee was going to be there at 5pm. Nobody showed up. I read the reviews and still tried. Guess they have enough memebers to blow off new ones.
Fantastic experience: Easy sign up process, wonderful staff/owner, clean facility & lots of equipment!
Fantastic experience: Good equipment, not overcrowded.
Positive experience: No frills gym, just the way it should be. Jordan does a great job
Fantastic experience: Great gym, great employees. Worth the membership.
Negative experience: The gym looks nice, but i waited at the desk for 15 minutes to join. No one came to help me sign up, so i left. Not a good impression
Positive experience: This gym is convenient that it is open 24 hours. It has the essentials, is never over crowded, and is reasonably priced. The downside is the groups teenagers that come in around 7pm-9pm. Wish the gym would regulate these kids better, especially that they let their friends in that who aren’t paying for a membership. Most are respectful, however had an issue with two of them this past Saturday.
Positive experience: Good and cheap, would be nice if they had a hack squat or a bench press not inside a rack though.
Fantastic experience: I was driving by and saw your logo , very good on that very creative. I will visit your business one day.
Positive experience: Clean and not too busy!
Fantastic experience: Great gym! No judgements or weird looks from people. I'm a bigger guy and I always worry about that sort of thing. NO worries here though! I just come in, and go straight upstairs to the treadmills and do cardio. I may not be on there as long as others, but I'm tryin!
Fantastic experience: I love this place. I come here when no one is around and I get to focus more on my goals.
Fantastic experience: Small, and looks to have everything I need. People are super nice and helpful.
Positive experience: I have been a member for around 7 years now and have spent countless hours here PRE-COVID. I've enjoyed the true 24 hour access and limited members. I wish they would update some equipment and had a sauna. I've invested in my own items to augment my use of the gym. This quaint gym is now a bit too busy. There could be better gym etiquette now that it's busier. I enjoy seeing the younger generations actively working on their fitness. However, there needs to be some rule reminders regarding gym etiquette. The squatting and incessant phone use on and around equipment in such a limited gym should be addressed. The once advantageous quality of this small, less frequented gym is no longer the case. especially during the typical peak hours, now like corporate gyms. is I'm here to hit my sessions hard. It's annoying when others squat and gab while occupying equipment.
Negative experience: I joined it a while back , and have been trying to cancel it for about 6 months now left many voice mails as no one picks up. I moved from the area so o do need to cancel I am not sure how to give a good rating when this has been pain for 6 months now. I would appreciate if you guys can either call back or cancel my and my wife’s enrollment.
Fantastic experience: Great gym! Love the keycard entrance, staff is not always easy to reach right away, but is very responsive to emails and phone calls!
Fantastic experience: One of those places you wish could stay a secret but also share with everyone because it's so great. The gym is super clean, affordable and has pretty much everything you need to get an awesome workout in. It doesn't have a standard bench press setup..but there are plenty of alternatives.

Fantastic experience: Not fancy as others but good enough to have a good workout without a waiting list.
Negative experience: I make a habit of writing good reviews, not bad, but this place left a very sour taste in my mouth. Worst gym experience to date...and I never even had a chance to meet the staff or test out the facilities. My boyfriend and I are new to the area and tried to schedule a tour. We called the number on the door, as directed, since the whole place is locked down unless you're a member. This helps to keep the membership prices down, but apparently it also makes it really challenging for new people to sign up. I spoke with Mark and we ended up setting a meeting time for the following weekend to tour the facility, discuss pricing / membership options and to potentially sign up. I told him that late morning / early afternoon worked best for us, but he said that 10:30 was the latest he could do. That wasn't, in my opinion, in the time-frame I suggested (subjective I suppose), but we did our best to make it work since we were interested in the gym. He made no mention of how long the appointment would be in our discussion, but I assumed that enough time would be allotted to give us the opportunity to look around and make a decision without feeling overly rushed. The day of, we were running a few minutes behind and notified him that we would be arriving shortly. Apparently 15 minutes was all the time Mark had allotted for our entire meeting--he notified us that he was leaving and would have to reschedule. We pulled into the parking lot and watched him drive away, and then received a text message stating that he was on his way to other commitments. A waste of his time and ours. Since then, not even one attempt to reach back out to reschedule with us. The entire exchange felt rude and we clearly do not feel welcome at the facility. We are respectful, quiet folks looking for a smaller, more intimate gym like Kenmore and really wanted to like the place, but we will not be going back or recommending that others try it out. First impressions matter...really disappointed.
Fantastic experience: Great prices, great staff, and a convienent location.
Fantastic experience: People here are very friendly. Equipment is clean, and it had a nice local feel to it. I don't feel self conscious about comparing myself to others like I have at bigger gyms
Fantastic experience: Good array of machines, except the broken elliptical
Fantastic experience: It is small but has everything you need. Open 24/7. Great gym for the price!
Positive experience: I once went to a gym in Glendale Arizona that was 65,000 square feet with an olympic swimming pool, rock climbing wall, multiple full length basketball courts, sauna, steam room, and a locker room attendant. And one freakin' squat rack...which is, needless to say, ridiculous. Kenmore Fitness, on the other hand, I'm guestimating is 5,000 square feet (and that's generous) and has 2 squat racks. And they don't throw a fit when you deadlift more than your body weight, which is something I can't say for some of their competitors. Point being, this is a gym and not a day spa. And that's what I like. If you want to lift heavy, you can do that here. I deducted a star because there is only one olympic barbell, with two more 35 lb barbells which are both warped. But I can work around that. Also, there is no bench for bench press, but we use the power cage to get the job done. If you prefer focusing in cardio, the entire upstairs is just a cardio deck, with more than enough pieces for the modest crowd that comes in here. If you prefer machines and/or floor work, there's enough here to work with. Not a great line of machines, but if your workout focuses on machines I'm assuming you probably don't need a ton of variety (Sorry, my personal bias. I get annoyed at people who are 25% body fat who get uppity because a gym doesn't have the ab machine they like when it clearly isn't doing them much good). There is even a heavy bag and plenty of that "functional" training crap. Oh yeah, and 24/7 access for under 30 bucks. I like it.
