Fantastic experience: this gym is really awesome; the facility is well-rounded and incredibly well-kept, the manager Anthony and the entire staff is so responsive and helpful, and if you have any feedback, they sincerely listen. definitely worth the membership.
Fantastic experience: Great group classes options and they just recently added Pilates! the instructors Addi and Nataly are great and knowledgeable. Good gym, maintained well and clean environment.
Fantastic experience: Perfect gym equipment that suits my vibe—ideal for a peaceful workout.
Negative experience: WARNING! Monthly bullying issues, untrained staff, and dismissive management. Gym etiquette and hygiene aren’t enforced in bathrooms, showers, and sauna. Save your money and well being.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this gym for 14 years. The staff here is absolutely amazing , engaging and very friendly. I always feel welcome when I step in the doors. The gym is also well taken care of.

Fantastic experience: We went to Citori’s yoga flow class on Monday morning and it was fantastic! I sometimes get lost in classes but Citori’s direction was superb and I was able to make it through the entire flow. I could feel energy flowing through my entire body after the class which was much needed because I could tell I had some stuck points in my body. I was just the right amount of sore the next day, feeling like I used the right muscles. Would definitely attend her class again and hope to join the gym after we move to the area. I loved the layout of the gym overall and the staff was super friendly!

Fantastic experience: What a great gym! It is huge with literally every type of machine and free weights one could want! I am returning to working out after a LONG break and they have such friendly staff to help me safely get back on track with my fitness goals. Whether it’s the manager Anthony or Jann the trainer, or a front desk staff member, everyone has a passion for what they do! The InBody test was a scientific way to approach what I need! I highly recommend this gym whether you are a pro or new to working out!

Positive experience: This was my first time at 425 Fitness, and it’s a solid step up from the LA Fitness in Mill Creek. Clean space, modern equipment, and—thankfully—no weird gym smells. Only downside? No pool or basketball court.

Fantastic experience: I've hopped around different gyms throughout the years and tried commercial & private gyms and 425 has by far been my favorite! I've been coming here for over a year and have grown to love it. One thing that stands out is that they're extremely clean for a gym and it has top-tier equipment. This is one of the smaller 425's compared to their other places in Issaquah and Redmond however, it's still spacious and I've never had to wait for a machine. Although, I do go early morning which is the best time since its not as busy and everyone is nice and respectable. All the staff are super friendly and get the job done! Huge shout out to Eli who works the front desk in the mornings! He is super friendly and always on top of his stuff. Thank you, 425! For this amazing place.

Fantastic experience: Truly like a second home and family. From the moment you walk in, you feel right at home. The community there is incredibly supportive, not to mention the staff members of this place. Anthony always has an amazing attitude and helped me with getting into a rhythm when I was just getting started. And Deejay is a living sensation: upbeat, positive, and cheerful, and has been a huge support during my fitness journey.

Fantastic experience: Staff is always super friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I recently started working with Diana for some Personal Trainer sessions. She is beyond wonderful and amazingly caring, and it's only been one session. She definitely went above and beyond to get to know me personally, my strengths and weaknesses, answered all my questions, and to help me get to my weight loss goal. Can't wait to work with her more! Fantastic experience: This is the best and cleanest gym i’ve been to. Staffs are really nice and friendly. It has enough equipments and machines so I rarely have to wait to use an equipment I want. The best thing I like about this gym is that there is NO high pressure sale like other gyms i’ve been to. It’s super refreshing to know that they don’t wanna rob your money.

Negative experience: I’m unsure why this gym has created an atmosphere where assault is allowed, but I just want to make sure people know what type of environment they are getting themselves into and what is considered acceptable in this location. I hope to hear from the owner, or management regarding the following incident that happened Friday 9/22/2024. I got assaulted at this location by one of the gym members who proceeded to aggressively choke me against the functional trainer machine after an altercation that he started. Here’s the over simplified scenario: I was using the functional trainer machine to do pull-ups, lateral raises and pushups, this guy randomly came towards me with an Olympic bar and without saying a word proceeded to try to force the bar into the T-row bar base while I was there (about to do pushups). I looked at him and let him know I was using that area, but instead of acting like a normal human and asking how much time I have left or if he could work in in between sets he got aggressive and told me that he was going to use that and that I could do push ups somewhere else. Confused, because of the audacity and entitlement of this guy I told him that no he wasn’t because I was there. After I asked him what his problem was, he lost it and used both hands to choke me while pushing me against the machine for a second or two. After he let go I stared at him like a parent looking at their toddler after the toddler lashed out for no logical reason, and even though I was LIVID. I got my things and walked to the front desk while thinking to myself “did this guy really just assault me because he couldn’t communicate and didn’t get his way? Why was he comfortable enough to do that here?”. After talking to the front desk about the altercation, the employee proceeded to say “it’s more common here than it should be” and then something along the lines of “he’s usually not like this, he’s not himself because he’s preparing for his competition next week”. I then told her “that’s not my problem, that doesn’t justify assault.” After the front desk employee was showing bias towards the aggressor I proceeded to ask the employee if we could fill out an incident report so I could get a copy of the video of the incident. The cops were also called and a report was filed with them and of course legal action will be taken. Note: There were multiple witnesses at the time of the incident that were just as surprised as I was. I’ll keep everyone updated with all the details of the incident after I speak with the Sheriff’s Office and the Manager or Owner of this gym.

Negative experience: Customer service is no existent - very disappointing

We are sorry you couldn't do the InBody yesterday. We do offer the testing every month on the first Monday and schedule trained staff accordingly to accommodate members. You can join us next month or schedule for an InBody and evaluation - however there is a cost associated outside of our free event.
Negative experience: DO NOT SIGN UP HERE. They have a glitch with their online system that sometimes doesn't link your account to the member portal so you cannot cancel on your own and when I called they said they would talk to the manager about canceling and reach back out if anything was needed on my end. 3 months later I was still getting charged and called again and they told me the manager was too busy to talk, and told me "not to shoot the messenger" and that they often have angry customers calling about this and that I would not be getting reimbursed despite them not canceling when I couldn't do it myself on the portal. I asked them to have the manager call me back and they told me that he probably wouldn't, he only uses email. I told them he could call me instead of emailing and they said it wouldn't happen. Absolute garbage customer service and zero accountability. Probably time for new management.
Fantastic experience: Deejay is truly amazing. Recently switched from Gold’s to 425 and it has been the best decision I’ve made truly thanks to Deejay. She always has the best energy and the warmest presence. The highlight of coming to this gym is Deejay. Words cannot express how amazing she is. I always see her working so hard and keeping the gym clean and organized which makes my workouts flow so seamlessly. Thank you Deejay for everything you do for us as well as for the gym! This gym is so lucky to have someone like Deejay!

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of this gym for over a decade. I am super impressed by one of the front desk workers. She is always cleaning, folding towels, vacuuming, cleaning windows etc. She greets everyone with a smile and says goodbye when we are leaving. I asked what her name was and I think she said her name was DJ. I love a clean and tidy gym environment and DJ is exceptional!

My favorite thing about this gym is the community fostered with the staff and the members and I always feel welcome and safe here. Positive experience: It’s a huge gym, all new maintained machines, very hygienic. All good but I missed the vibe that I was looking for in a gym. Everyone is on their own and there are no trainers around too barring the ones who are taking PT sessions.
HI Lopamuusdra - we just hired several new trainers so you should see more on the floor. Also - have you taken advatnage of our pop-ups? Twice a month we hold a pop-up with the trainers on different exercises and trainings - they are great fun! Ask the front desk for details!
Negative experience: Experienced verbal abuse and physical violence : another gym member physically threw my phone and water bottle when I accidentally placed it over a bench that they were supposedly using. Instead of settling the matter in a civilized manner, the gym member resorted to verbally abusing me with several swear words after I picked up my chipped phone off the ground and also apologized for having accidentally used their bench while they were gone. Upon reporting this to the front desk at the gym, I didn’t get any support from the staff. They neither apologized for the aggression, compensated me in any way for my phone and didn’t even acknowledge the disrespectful behavior which left me publicly humiliated in the gym which has now caused me mental trauma. Racism is everywhere and can especially be found in this gym which doesn’t support its members. For a minority women of color, this gym really sucks.

Fantastic experience: Most users only need to use the equipment for their workouts. 425 in Bothell has more equipment available for everyone to use for a fraction of the cost. There is no local gym that can provide Zumba group exercise 7 days a week. This is the only gym that can provide more than members need.

Positive experience: It's a nice and clean gym but it's also new compared to the other gyms in the area. The group classes are limited to the morning times which is a little frustrating. It can also get crowded at times but still feels spacious for now. Additionally, if you've visited the Issaquah and Redmond locations, this one is barely a 3 Stars and lacks the same kind of facilities in the other locations.

Fantastic experience: This gym has all the weights you'll ever need! One of my favorite things about the gym so far is the specific locations to stretch, crosstrain, lift weights, and do cardio. The gym owner and management seem on the same page and fix equipment, and update the gym regularly! The staff seems friendly and says, "Hi" or waves. Be sure to ask for Anthony when you join. He was very knowledgeable and streamlined my sign up process. 5/5 stars!

Negative experience: I called and cancelled both mine and my husband's membership months ago due to a medical reason. I went on to my online banking and realized that they only cancelled my membership and not my husband's membership, so they have been charging us for months. I called to speak with someone about cancelling and spoke with Anthony Woods. He stated he could not help me correct this and we would need to cancel online and get charged another monthly fee. He would not direct me to anyone else that could help me and said it was the old manager that helped me before, and so there was no proof. I will be contacting the BBB because this is fraud. I was reasonable at the beginning of the call and just wanted him to cancel without the fee, I was not even asking for the money back that they overcharged me. I will now contact my bank and try and get the money back.

Negative experience: This place sucks. They do everything in their power to make it hard for you to cancel your membership. Then they say they need 30 days notice to cancel it? Complete rip-off. Go anywhere else. (To the response below: I never authorized you guys to make more than a single charge to my card and that is visible in your app. I've also been trying to cancel my membership - which I only wanted a single month of - for over a month. You're a criminal.)

Negative experience: They don’t let the members know if there is an increase in monthly payments. There is no prompt reply to emails when I reach out to them.

We are required to let members know about increases. We’ve had one this year - we emailed in late June about an increases for August 1st. If the emailed bounced we mailed a letter. Negative experience: I used to give these guys good reviews, but then they screwed me over. After 10 years being a member i tried to freeze my account, but that takes two weeks. Then i tried to just cancel, but that takes 1 month. You literally have to give a months notice to cancel. What a scummy POS company. They also would not let me cancel on site, i had to register a account online just to cancel. They have also really jacked up their prices up over the year. Im moving to planet fitness, is half the price.

Fantastic experience: 425 Fitness has overall been a great gym to become a member of. Initially had an issue before starting a membership but they resolved it quick and efficiently. Anytime I bring up any type of concerns, they’re very quick to address them in a highly satisfactory manner. I appreciate how kind all the staff are, especially the front desk employees. They’re always very kind and welcoming. This is my first gym membership anywhere and I can say that I’m very happy with my decision. The gym is overall clean, the amount and types of equipment is good for the size of the business and the staff are friendly and quick to address concerns. The pricing for a membership also seems fair to me. Would recommend!

Positive experience: I love 425 Fitness Bothell. I’ve been a member since May 2022 and enjoy the facility, including the machines, platforms, power-bars, and locker rooms. 425 is always clean and tidy. The general manager, Matt is very kind and accommodating. We always spark up a conversation and he always listens to whatever I need to say.

Negative experience: The men are creeps, and the male manager does nothing about it. Women have to workout strapped with protection.

Positive experience: $20 day pass for nonmembers It’s $10 if there is a member there. Not sure why there is this difference. This day pass price is ridiculous I really like this gym and the vibe of it. There is great equipment and it doesn’t feel too crowded. Please reconsider this awful day pass price.
If members are bringing guests then we offer them a discount. Otherwise there is a drop in fee to use the club.

Fantastic experience: Over the years, I have been to 4+ gyms in the Bothell/Mill Creek area and tried a myriad of group fitness classes and was left disappointed. Either they were too small, too crowded, had school kids working out or not clean. I was skeptical when I first joined the 425 Fitness Bothell as large gyms from outside has fooled me in the past. The 425 Fitness Bothell is a great neighborhood gym. This gym is large enough to have all the equipment you need (4 leg work out stations, wohooo!!!) as well as a plethora of group fitness offerings (zumba and others). At the same time, 425 Fitness Bothell is small enough to have a true neighborhood feel - it's a place where everybody knows everyone. The staff is friendly and I love the manager Matt, he’s always patient, takes time to hear you out and has possible solution for all of your issues. The facility is attractive, unique, and clean! And best of all --- it's extremely affordable. You will not be disappointed. Only opportunity is there personal trainer department. I wish they were a little more organized but they are smart and have your best interest.

Negative experience: One dollar to enter two to quit. It would only be nice for them to call you when they decided to raise monthly fee. It would also be nice if they could cancel the membership on request immediately. It would be nice if to cancel a membership that I did not agree to, they would not charge 27 dollars. If you have a choice between this gym and another, make sure very hard the other one is not worthy.
Positive experience: Everything I need for workout equipment and then some. Membership is very diverse, people are courteous, and I've always felt comfortable as a female. Even during peak hours there's always space on equipment. Staff is nice - my compliments to the girl usually in braids at the front desk, her greeting is particularly welcoming. My one critique is in the facilities department - towels for wiping down equipment frequently run out, and for the size of the place I'd expect a handful of water stations, not a lone one in the back corner. Otherwise, I can confidently say this is the best option in the area.

Fantastic experience: This is my goto place. Sauna, showers, lockers, massage chairs are new as of oct 2022. :) In the morning you will have no wait on machines but evening gets crowded.
Fantastic experience: No one likes getting calls from collections and I received a bill for 180$ due to 425 fitness, I haven’t used their gym in years and I was stress, worried, confused and needed help. I called and the GM was AMAZING! He was so incredibly polite and took care of the whole situation with no trouble! The best customer service experience I have ever had with a gym! Fantastic experience: Best Gym around. I’ve used all kinds of facilities in the last couple of decades and this is far one off the best in the area. The staff it’s top notch, from the manager (Matt), to the front staff (always friendly), and awesome cleaning staff (always busting their butt keeping the place clean for your and my safety). They have great trainers too. One young lady named Janita always makes sure her clients lift with proper form and is very knowledgeable. She does this all with a smile. The community and members are also supportive and great. I just recently stated getting serious about fitness again. Every time I made a gain or lost body fat, someone from the gym would congratulate and encourage me to get going. This is what 425 Fitness is about. I encourage you to find out for yourself.

Fantastic experience: It’s been a week since we (husband and I) started. The person we signed up with, Leena, was very patient and helped us find the best deal possible! We signed up for 2 specials that gave us a total of 8 personal training sessions. My husband joined as secondary on my account and he will be using my PT sessions. Very clean and well maintained. Can find almost any equipment you think of! We’ve been at different times of the day, and though the mornings are crowded(7am), there was still enough options to make it comfortable. The high ceilings and windows make the whole space feel spacious and airy.

Negative experience: They never pick up calls of existing customers. Extremely annoying! But they will chase you when they want you to sign up. Update: Their automated caller sends you to a stupid website that you have to cancel membership on. It’s very difficult to do that still. My husband and I went to the gym twice to confirm the membership cancellation where their manager Matt Hamilton is never present. One of their staff members told us that both our accounts show canceled. Still they charged us a few days ago. I can’t believe how unethically this gym operates… WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. They just want your money.

Fantastic experience: This is an excellent gym. They have all the equipment you need, and it is well maintained and kept quite clean. They regularly invest in the place with the most recent being flooring and a locker room renovation. The ventilation is also quite good. It never smells like a gym even when fairly crowded.

Negative experience: They make it so hard for you to cancel. Their manager, Mark Hamilton, will only respond you when you’re signing up. He won’t bother to call you/answer your emails/meet you if you want to cancel the membership. I cancelled my membership and was charged again for next 2 months. They stop responding. Terrible customer service. Edit - I cancelled the membership on the online portal. Visited the gym twice in person and the associate their confirmed that the membership is cancelled. Yet I was charged for the membership. The associate in the gym promised that the matter will be escalated to Matt Hamilton. It’s been a month and he hasn’t responded back yet. My wife also left a review. They promised to call and no one responded. The people here are unscrupulous and the business practices are unethical.

Fantastic experience: One of the best gyms I've been to in a long time. I was in town for a few weeks, and they were happy to hook me up with a month's pass for my wife and I. I've been enjoying the facilities which are always clean. Atleast in the morning, the gym isn't crowded which is great. Shout out to Matt and others for setting us up!
Fantastic experience: Good fitness facility. Towels and cleaning solutions provided to clean off equipment after use. Clean dressing room with showers and sauna. New, updated PRECOR cardio equipment, new flooring and updated rubber coated dumbbells for extra safety.

Fantastic experience: I went here from October to March and you definitely get the value you pay for. Nice clean locker rooms, sauna, a few classes at the right times and you can use the classroom to do virtual classes when not in use. If you were hoping to deadlift, they were occupied Mon-Thurs but Fri, Sat, Sun there is plenty of room to spread out. Only reason I left was because of the drive from Woodinville and gas prices going through the roof. If you live in Bothell though, I'd recommend here if you are looking for a basic gym with a few added benefits plus the hydro massage chairs.

Fantastic experience: Gotta give credit where credit is due... Overall, this is the best gym I've been a member of. First and foremost, it's always very clean. The staff does a great job at keeping the place looking sharp at all times. Next, the amount of equipment, and the quality of the equipment, is as good as you'll find. They have an abundance of the more popular pieces of equipment(squat racks, deadlift platforms, bench press, treadmills, etc.), so there's little to no wait time for any piece of equipment. Not only is the equipment on point, but they've done a great job at keeping the place spacious, and maintaining proper distance between the equipment, and in the functional area, so you're not competing for space during your workout. Lastly, the staff is both friendly and they keep to themselves, so your interactions with them are brief, but pleasant, which I personally prefer.

Fantastic experience: This gym is under new management and they have made lots of improvements like upgrading all the lightning to Led and brought in new equipment. They do so much better at keeping the place clean every time I go I see at least one if not two people cleaning. The restrooms and changing areas are much cleaner then before. Overall improvements all around if you haven't been there a year it's a new place now!

Fantastic experience: I've been a member here for a number of years, and can say that the place is consistently good in all respects. I recently had to cancel my membership as part of a relocation, and Matt Hamilton was very helpful with working through some technical issues associated with that. I would not hesitate to recommend this gym to anyone.
Fantastic experience: Great neighborhood gym - nothing fancy, but with decent free weights area, 2 deadlift platforms, 3 power racks and full set of dumbbells. What I really appreciate is the efforts they put through the pandemic - it really looked like they date about their customers.
Fantastic experience: 425 is a great gym.! I have been going there for several years, and the staff is always friendly and well informed. If I ask a question on how to approach a different work out they are always there to help and provide helpful advice. In addition they have recently done a major remodel with the majority of the equipment being new. The monthly fee is very reasonable and for what you get in return well worth it. I would recommend this gym to anyone who is looking!
Fantastic experience: Started this gym a month ago and I love it. Great amount of weights and machines. Sauna is nice and the bathrooms are clean. I feel a great sense of community here. Highly recommend this gym!

Negative experience: Gym itself is nice. However, staff wears mesh "masks" and doesn't even check vaccination cards when you do the mandatory "declare your vaccination status". If they're not doing the bare minimum there, I can't imagine where else they're cutting corners with regard to member safety.
Hi - Vaccine Mandates are not required in Snohomish County. We do check Vaccine status in our Redmond and Issaquah clubs as King County does require it.
Negative experience: If you try and cancel membership with this gym for any reason they charge you a whole month fee. They don’t let you cancel in person they make you do it online so they don’t have to deal with you in person with any complaints. Doesn’t make sense to charge a whole month fee when you cancel at the beginning of the month after you just paid last month fees on time. Update: If you are trying to provide convenience to your customer, don’t send them away when they are personally there to cancel. To the customer it is convenient for them to cancel in person if they went in for that purpose. Poor business model to charge after a customer cancels membership when they don’t have any outstanding dues. 30-day cancel notice policy is a way for you to hide fees from your customers and charge them to cancel their memberships.

Negative experience: Do not recommend this GYM for a couple reasons... 1. They don't let you cancel your membership in person because they charge you a whole month's fee to cancel. They make you cancel on their website so they don't have to hear your questions and complaints. 2. They have a lot of theft here because they don't let you keep your belongings with you on the gym floor, but insist you use the cubbies. They only seem to inforce this rule with select people and let others keep their items with them until you make a complaint.

Negative experience: Like so many other said trying to cancel your membership is next to impossible I’ve stopped by multiple times over the past three years that I’ve been trying to cancel they say only a manager can do it and then there’s no one around. Then they say you can do it online but there’s no place to sign in on their website only a place for new applicant.. it’s been three years since I’ve gon to this gym. I don’t even live in the state anymore I don’t want to cancel my card just to get out of my membership

Hello, we're sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your training sessions. When purchasing a training package, the contract states those sessions are nonrefundable, however they also do not expire. So you are welcome to cash them in whenever you feel ready to try again!
Positive experience: 425 is doing a good job in uncertain times. Masks are required per guidelines. This has decreased membership. Despite this all equipment is in good shape

Fantastic experience: The wife and I have been happy members for 22 years. Covid has resulted in many changes and challenges which John and his team have overcome in flying style. Equipment- always clean and operable. Classes- great instructors. Communications- helpful and concise. 425 Fitness Bothell is an example of a 31 year old business that knows how to adapt to all conditions as they arise. We keep coming back because you are always welcomed with a smile and a clean towel. Keep it up!!
