Negative experience: Visited on vacation this week. Not too crowded depending on the time. Gym itself is alright, machines could use some work, you essentially get what you pay for. Weights are very unorganized. Didn’t see anyone clean much besides one very nice lady in the mornings. Blonde girl at front desk doesn’t seem to know what she’s doing, just scrolls on her phone, then stares at people struggling to check in rather than helping them. Looks like employees just get paid to sit and fool around. Martin, I believe is his name, is the one employee with a good head on his shoulders. Shout out Martin!

Negative experience: I purchased a temporary pass since I was visiting from out of town. The front desk staff were friendly and professional. I really couldn’t believe how outdated the equipment was. I used the elliptical and treadmill machines. One treadmill was covered in crumbs, and was still there the day after that. I really envisioned a bright, modern workout space. This center missed the mark.

Fantastic experience: *UPDATE* Another vacation and another excellent experience at this Gym. The staff member I saw every morning, Mario, is extremely friendly and helpful. The equipment is in good quality. The gym is very clean. If you are in search of a gym, this is the place for you. Excellent gym. My family vacations at the same spot every year and each time I visit this gym. This gym is consistently clean. The equipment is maintained and upgraded when necessary. Staff is very friendly and helpful - thanks Mario! Highly recommend this gym.

Negative experience: The gym is OK! Membership is inexpensive. Some equipment need repair or upgrade/replacement. The front desk staff are friendly. The personal trainer was good. But the major PROBLEM is billing. My personal training contract was for 3 months. They were charging my CC biweekly. I provided a 30 days notice of cancelation at the end of my 3 month contract. They charged me an extra bill beyond my contract and refused to refund/reverse. Very dubious billing practice. Very disappointing. Will NEVER go back

Negative experience: Surprise charges on your bank account. I was supposed not to get charged anymore and now I get an additional surprised charged that I had no agreed on. Stay away from this gym. They really grab money without permission.

Negative experience: Front desk personnel is always very nice. However, there’s probably only 4 or 5 treadmills that work well. Majority of them work poorly (jerking, not smooth, etc) or just don’t work at all. The gym is also very outdated, sometimes hard to find cleaning solutions at the stations, etc.

Negative experience: I had been a member at Bonita Springs crunch gym for over a year when suddenly the manager tells me I don't have a membership. I show him my credit card charges for 3 accounts that paying for. He argues with me so I stop the memberships and join Smash gym. I have my closed contracts yet every month I still get charged. I have been in on at least 4 occasions to speak with Dan the manager and he swears he'll fix it but never does. I've probably paid over $300 for nothing. I've reported it my bank as fraud. I don't feel they're honest there. I would not recommend. Ive lived here 73 years and know lots of people and they will all know about fraudulent Crunch.

Negative experience: It’s a gym meh but Bonita Springs deserves a better alternative. Subpar classes, some cagey business tactics (hidden fees and impossible cancellation and fraudulent documentation) and zero customer service. Do your research or pay the price.

Negative experience: I was charged by Crunch in two different cards. I was told i’d get a month for a dollar by an employee but that was a lie. I spoke to the manager which he apologized & said he’d give me a refund & that he would honor the next month for free & instead charged me twice for one month in two different accounts & proceeded to charge me until I stopped paying called about this either no response or the call would get cut off. The absolute unprofessional experience I’m disputing these charges as we speak. Don’t go this gym just a bunch of kids running the gym & they don’t take anything serious.

Negative experience: So I had an appointment at 7 o'clock to meet an onboarding personal trainer. And she was a no show, and then I drove down to take a walk on the beach, taking a 5 mile walk. And while I was on the walk, there was an alert to my phone that the meeting that her and I had was completed satisfactory. Funny funny funny so hopefully her boss gets to know that this is b.S.And it's b s that I gotta deal with this, but I thought I just make others aware, if you're going to join this particular gym, don't expect the services to be very good

Negative experience: I canceled my membership in person, but they charged me for another 6 months until I went back and canceled it again. I showed them the proof that I had been charged and had received a confirmation email that it had been canceled months ago, but they would not provide a refund. The manager also did not respond for weeks at a time to emails.

Negative experience: I paid a lot of money for a personal trainer, I noticed when he was teaching me how to do squats he kept looking at my abs, or above my abs because I wear a sports bra.. no so nice?!?

Negative experience: My wife and I have had nothing but bad experiences so far. We came in on a day pass to check in out and the gentleman who helped us was very polite. He convinced us to sign up for a membership for $1 for the first month and $29.99 after (for the one we selected). After a week, they tried to charge me for the membership so we went back in and questioned them and said they would remove the charge and give us the month free (since the person who signed us up was wrong about the promotion and it was supposed to be $1 for a week) another week later, we were charged $46. We were told it was a late fee, along with the monthly charge and they would refund it. I have now called 5 separate times and talked to someone to refund it and it still hasn’t been taken care of and that was over a week ago. The workers in the gym I spoke to (prior to this) were very nice, which is why I didn’t give one star, but this experience has completely turned us off from this gym. I just want my money back, like I was promised.

Negative experience: Do not go to this gym! I was harassed by a trainer, then tried to cancel my membership. That day I was told that my membership was canceled and payments would stop then due to my harassment by Crunch staff. Now, 4 months later they are still charging me. I spoke with the manager Dan who said he can’t do anything because I am in a year contract. When speaking with Dan he did not care about the harassment, was very rude, mansplained, and was absolutely no help. Clearly this gym doesn’t care about woman and if they are being harassed by employees of crunch. Definitely avoid Crunch if you are a woman!!

Negative experience: I don't usually leave reviews for places but this was a brief, bad experience. My girlfriend and I just moved to the area less than a week ago and are trying out different gyms to see which one we want to become members of. Well, it won't be this one. We asked the front desk guys about a complimentary day pass for prospective members we saw online, but they wouldn't honour it without a local ID. Totally fine, but we haven't had a chance to get one yet. So they continued with the hard sell of membership or a paid day pass and we said we were good for now, we would wait till we got our IDs. However, as we were leaving, one of the guys at the desk said "whatever, they weren't going to buy a membership anyway" loud enough for us to hear at the front door... That was on our shortlist of gyms to join because it is in a convenient location for us, but I won't patronize a place with that snotty attitude from the front desk workers. I'll take my business to one of their competitors.

Negative experience: Used to be an awesome place until they harassed & terminated Trish, probably the best trainer they had. Don’t recommend, they have too many problems internally, next week you’ll want to work out anywhere else BUT there, then the week after it’s tolerable again. “Meh” describes it best. It is what it is.

Fantastic experience: This gym is always clean and is maintained very well. All of the staff are very kind and receptive. I cannot say enough about Trish, she is truly at the heart of this gym. She teaches most of the classes. Every single day she shows up with positive energy, inspiring all of her class members to be their best. She is motivating and fun, always exuding inspiration to be more! I also adore Kristen and Marque, two of the yoga instructors. Kristen is always kind and positive, providing an air of calm and resilience. Marque has a beautiful way of including wonderful mantras and inspiration into his classes. Negative experience: SCAMMED my grandma with dementia. Crunch fitness should be ashamed of themselves, taking money from elderly who are not in the right mind to sign financially binding documents. Disgusting treatment and the management have been incredibly unhelpful and refuse to give us a refund for almost 3 grand worth of charges from a 90+ year old woman who cannot comprehend complex documentation.

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars I would. Only went to this location twice and hated this site (one in fort Myers was better but too far) so I was charged for months I never used. I attempted to cancel my membership over a month ago before I moved but was informed I couldn't until June due to a contract. Completely understandable!!They charged me for another annual fee and when I called they stated they could cancel me but wouldn't refund me since there was no cancellation on file. Why would there be a cancellation on file if you wouldn't allow me to when I originally tried? And why don't your employees leave valid notes in the system for ppl who want to cancel. Get a better system in place or employees with common sense scammers!!

Positive experience: I am traveling and I work out here a few times a year. The female manager was rude and very unhelpful. I went twice this week. Both times, she was condescending and offered zero assistance. She told me to download the app, offered no guidance with signing me in or how to get barcode. Luckily, the younger lady at the front desk was kind and helpful. The gym is outdated compared to other Crunch gyms.

Fantastic experience: After checking out a few gyms in the Bonita Springs area , Crunch Fitness won me over for my weeks vacation. The gym has a vast array of top quality equipment including cardiovascular, Dumbbells Plate loaded , Resistance machines , TRX , Multi use rig & a functional area too . Even though the gym was busy I was never left waiting to use a machine . I trained at 0600 and was always greeted my a Good Morning & big friendly smile from Mario the gym manager. Members are also very friendly. The cleanliness of the whole environment was first class. Fantastic experience: The customer service is outstanding! Jasmine and Mario at the front desk are a breath of fresh air. They greet everyone with a smile and are extremely helpful. Jasmine went overboard to help me in many areas and I truly think they both deserve a promotion! I also like the gym ~ All the machines seem to work and the cleanliness is top notch. Fantastic experience: Mario and the other staff at this facility were super helpful and really nice. The gym is very neat and clean. I needed a 3 day pass and they were one of the only gyms to help me with that. I’m considering joining a Crunch at home because the experience was so great. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: They wouldn't let me cancel my gym membership over the phone so I went in person and canceled. They said I was good to go 3 months later I check my account and I'm still being charged. Once I call then all of a sudden they can cancel over the phone. Asked them for reimbursement for their mistake and not canceling my account They said I needed paperwork proof. How am I suppose to have any type of paperwork when I wasn't given any. Seems to be a common problem from what I've seen in these reviews. **update December 2023 I was sent to collections by crunch and again giving me a difficult time.

All members requesting to cancel are processed within 10 days... this is the time it takes ABC Financial to reconcile invoices. We have no intention of not canceling any membership within the contract guidelines. Having conflict over a $10 is not worth anyone's time. Fantastic experience: For what the gym offers along with the price it is a very nice gym, it's definitely not going to be one of the top gyms in America but for convenient local workouts it's great, they also having tanning options. I would give 5 stars for the type of gym and price, compared to higher end gyms in big cities it's not going to be comparable

Positive experience: Some of the equipment needs replaced. The air-conditioning was out for a whole week yet they remained open. I went once that week. I have Asthma. Not good. Staff is good , but there is a high turn over rate.

Negative experience: Horrible gym, bathrooms are disgusting, lack of equipment. But the biggest issue.....NO AC. What gym has no AC, let alone in Florida 2023, the hottest year known to man. Extremely annoyed by it and could also be a health risk. I left this location to go to another location for better services (AC being one of them), and the Naples location ALSO had NO AC!!! Its been almost a year since the hurricane, get your stuff together.

Negative experience: I started going there when it opened about 6 or so years ago. The amenities have gone down hill. Machine pads don't get replaced and not as clean as it use to be. If you also try to cancel your membership, they continually charge your account. Still going through the process and if it continues, I may have to look at other legal action. I dont recommend this gym based on management.

Frank’s professionalism, attention to detail and overall knowledge of muscular structure and exercise is exemplary. Frank has literally changed my physique - and more importantly, my attitude! Fantastic experience: I have been a member at Crunch Bonita Springs for 5 years and training with Frank for the last 2 years. The club is clean and the equipment more than meets my individual needs. Any equipment that may not be working, appears to me, to be fixed or replaced in a timely fashion. Frank is the consummate professional. Fantastic experience: I have had the best experience at this gym! My trainer, Frank, has been working with me for several years now. He customizes my workouts and makes sure my form is accurate. I have seen results physical, and maybe even more importantly, mentally. Frank keeps me in good spirits during our training. He deeply cares about his clients as anyone can see from his long and loyal following. Frank is not only a phenomenal trainer, he is a friend. It is a privilege and honor to be trained by such a kind, devoted, hard-working professional. When I am not training, I workout on my own (not as enthusiastically) and this gym has everything I would need and more. My friend attends the classes and she loves them. I would recommend this gym to everyone.

Fantastic experience: Going to zumba classes there for several years Larissa has recently been teaching several times a week and she is excellent. He Iron Mat class is a beautiful cross of yoga &palates strengthing with great core work. Makes me feel good inside & out during & After class. Larissa is a pleasure to dance with smiling and positive. Her cueing is right on and always to the rhythm and beat to her music. She is an asset to our crunch gym for all interested in professional fitness. She is loved by all in our demand for well planed & safe effective fitness. Definitely a keeper for sure. Thank you

Negative experience: Poorly managed gym. Often does not open on time. 2X this week nobody showed up to open the gym.

Mark The gym consistently is open at 5am... the exception was the hurricane. I have the time clock records and would know if the gym did not open at 5am. The gym is the cleanest with the best maintained equipment in the Bonita area. We have the BEST PT staff, GF Staff, and Front Desk staff. I consistently go to all the gyms in the area and I can say the above with all confidence.

Positive experience: I like the gym and the classes. But please turn the air down. It's really just too hot for a gym. Guys are sweating so bad, its just gross. We are going to sweat, but it's so stuffy. Please turn ON the tv's. Why have them if they're never on? The Naples crunch has all the tv's on. Jeff at the desk is nice and welcoming. Bebe and Dana teach great zumba.

Negative experience: Not a very professional place when the instructor tells her personal problems with members. Telling members directly she is banned from the Fort Myers gym all while criticizing the general mgr and other employee at Fort Myers. Enough is enough already! I pay membership to work out not to hear about her personal problems or her pity story. If she is banned from all these gyms then it must be a problem with herself. Not our concerns. The owner needs to know she is working at one of his gyms while criticizing his other gym and the general manager and employees. So not good for business.

Negative experience: Do NOT sign up for training at this location! Manager does not respond to phone calls or emails.. I have cancer and lost my job I gave the proper 10 day written notice that I was told was needed when I signed up and I’m still being charged even though I’ve been told numerous times by the head trainer that I would be refunded and my training was canceled.

Negative experience: Bad customer service - Make sure to have multiple copies/proof of when you cancel Went to gym in December of 2021 to cancel my membership. The trainer (flat top, tan) told me I was good to go. 2 months later I was still being charged. I then spoke with the manager, Sheena, she was not very willing to help, but ultimately said she canceled my membership. Now it is May, I am still being charged and Crunch customer support noted my membership was still active. Really a frustrating situation. Again, when cancelling DO NOT TAKE THEIR WORD for it. Make sure you receive copies of the confirmation that your membership was cancelled or else you will be paying for it for a long, long time.

Negative experience: SCAMMERS! Tried to cancel my membership back in December and gave them my account info and they said they would take care of it. I have now been billed twice more since! The man at the front desk looked visibly irritated when I told him I wanted to cancel my membership because I was moving. Do not sign up here!

Negative experience: Not a safe place anymore. Attend the gym for more than 2 years and the place is going down slowly. Got my locker smashed and my wallet stolen(i had it locked with a coded locker). This was a 2 person job I'm pretty sure. The gym of course not responsible for any of it, God forbid

Fantastic experience: New Crunch member here as of this morning! Gym is priced at some of the best rates in the area and has more than everything that you can ask for. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Sheena was the one helping me through the initiation process and answered all of my questions quickly and concisely. She even dug for the promo code that didn’t auto populate to lower the enrollment fee. She clearly cares about her members. Equipment is very clean and well kept. Can’t wait to try out more in coming days!

Fantastic experience: You will not find a more affordable gym that remains this clean and open as early as 5 am. The space is vast and the selections are wide. I appreciate this venue deeply. I ride my bike to it close to 4 times a week and sometimes more.

Fantastic experience: Crunch Fitness in Bonita Springs is by far the nicest gym I’ve ever worked out at. From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted by the friendly staff! It’s also the cleanest facility I’ve ever been to. The managers and staff are top notch! Charles, Sheena and Daniel make this gym a place I enjoy going to everyday. If your looking for a gym, look no further. If your currently a member somewhere else, do your self a favor and try this one for a day.

Negative experience: Be wary of the management of this gym. They are the former owner operators of True Fitness in Holt, MI where they accepted prepayment for training and other services from clients. They suddenly left to Florida without making clients or business partners whole. Texts to the owners went without response. Furthermore, they immediately closed the business on google to avoid members/associates they scammed being able to comment negatively. Do not prepay anything! I do not want what happened to me to happen to you.

Negative experience: I was not happy with the gym. They wouldn’t let me cancel my membership over the phone because you couldn’t cancel via phone. And then the right person wasn’t there when I went in to cancel, then my certified letter got returned even though i used the address on the website. I called again and they did me a ‘favor’ by letting me cancel on the phone then signed for me on a cancellation document agreeing to pay over 90.00 and I had signed up for a free month. No fees were ever mentioned and I never saw a contract. I have joined several gyms in the past and have never had the runaround like this.
