Ignite the Senses Children's Gym

Negative experience: I went to a birthday party on Sunday June 29,2025 and the older lady at the counter was not friendly at all and whom ever was there with her was very annoying, asking us questions about the food and when are we going to sing happy birthday as well as when can he eat. It was a young boy maybe in his twenties. I were as courtesy as we could be towards him. People skills and customer service was poor.

Negative experience: My grandbabies and I attended a birthday party Sunday. Upon arriving there was a older lady with Grey hair sitting at the counter. She didn't greet me. She wasn't friendly. She told me to sign in and I asked if they sold socks. I paid for the socks and entered the party. There was a young man there who was very intrusive during the celebration. As it came time to leave; the lady started going around with clorox wipes, wiping down surfaces. She just wasn't friendly or welcoming towards us. I hope that she will receive a refreshed lesson in customer service.

Fantastic experience: Had our sons first birthday here today, him and his cousins all had a great time at the indoor jungle gym while it rained. Will definitely be back again.

Fantastic experience: Had a wonderful time with our three-year-old today. There is a variety of play stations and she was entertained here for just under 2 hours on a very rainy morning. All the equipment looked well taken care of and in good condition. Kim was very friendly and we enjoyed talking with her about the local area and all. Definitely a place we would return to when visiting HHI.

Fantastic experience: What a hidden gem in Bluffton! Our first experience was my son’s 4th birthday party and it couldn’t have gone better! All the kids had a blast playing in a safe space,parents stood around and chatted while kids had a blast. Space was clean and all the play equipment was in great shape. Wonderful party room in the back for use. 2 hours was the perfect amount of time for play and pizza!

Fantastic experience: We just celebrated my daughters 3rd birthday this past weekend. She & her little friends had the best time! ages ranging from nine months to seven years old! We had two hours of play just to ourselves and it was the perfect day! Perfect size place for a small party this elementary age school children!

Positive experience: There is a very strange odor in this building..Last time my friend went she smelled it too. Also I was surprised at how small the space was.. Nevertheless, the equipment was clean and my kids enjoyed their time.

Negative experience: Very very disappointed in this facility. I was unsure if it was a "play gym" or preschool facility. Very small!! Only about 60ft x 40ft space. We called the day before we went to ensure it was an "open gym" for Monday, 5/23. The women who answered said it was. We arrived at 10 and were surprised to see an organized class going on. The women stepped away from her group and signed us in and charged $12. Other than being very small and there already being a class of 6 kids, not a lot of space. The women "teaching", clearly NOT a certified teacher or child care provider. Was RUDE! She didn't say two full sentences to me the entire time. She hardly said 10 to her class. Her ton was VERY unpleasant and she appeared to be very unhappy and even irritated at all the kids. Dispute the "supervision" the kids in the class had no supervision.... They were left to "play" with little to no adult supervision. The women just walked about playing some "kid" songs from The cell phone in her pocket. If your paying for "preK" with this person or facility I'd suggest you spend a day here and see what they are doing. In the two hours we were there to play open gym they class played music, wrote their name once and ate lunch. Again with little to NO teacher guidance. Yikes.... We will not be retuning. Upon leaving I asked the women; said her name was Kim, if they were a licensed childcare facility. She said no. I asked if she was licensed to reach? She said no. I then ask; well what are you doing here, are you mot providing child care or teaching. She said "No, this is my PreK class." I said what? So your not licensed at all for teaching or childcare but you have this group of 6 you are providing care for. I told her it was obvious she WAS NOT licensed and left. BEWARE IF YOU COME HERE!!! Don’t leave your kids here unattended….

Fantastic experience: Love Kim and the amazing environment shes created. She has very intentionally crafted a place for kids to play and learn. We’ve been taking our daughter for 6 months and she’s had tremendous growth intellectually and socially. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: They have some pretty neat things there that my 1 and 3 year old boys enjoyed! Trampoline and a mini zipline were awesome. A foam roller slide they loved. We were skeptical at first but had a great time there.

Fantastic experience: My son goes to their preschool camp a couple of days a week and absolutely loves it! He gets to play, socialize, he learns his letters, does crafts, counting worksheets, and then some! SO happy we found this place!

Fantastic experience: Perfect for all young children up through elementary age - good quality materials - easy to see your child from anywhere in the room - a "Quiet Room" available if child becomes overwhelmed.

Fantastic experience: So much for kids to do. My almost 2yr old loves the zip line, different types of swings and the trampoline.
