Fantastic experience: Very good gym full service

Positive experience: Decent gym. Most of the equipment save for the free weights do NOT have starting weights on them. Alot of people in here are constantly on thier damn phones. Taking up time on the equipment. The only time I have my phone with me is when I'm doing cardio. Otherwise it sets on the counter. Some of the equipment is old & needs to be replaced along with some of the cardio equipment. Other than these items it's a pretty decent gym & the price is right.

Fantastic experience: As a powerlifter, I’ve been to a lot of gyms, and CynergyFitness stands out as one of the best experiences I’ve had. Jake, the owner, is incredibly nice and enthusiastic, creating a welcoming environment from the moment you walk in. The members are just as amazing—I was blown away when someone offered to spot me without me even having to ask. That kind of camaraderie is rare, especially when working out away from home. The rules were clear and reasonable, especially given that the gym is on the third floor. Sure, I couldn’t drop 500 lbs repeatedly like I’m used to, but I took it as a fun challenge to control my lifts and keep it quiet. It actually helped me focus on my form more! The equipment was top-notch, the vibe was great, and the community feeling was unmatched. Whether you’re a serious lifter or just starting your fitness journey, this place is perfect. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town. Thanks, Jake, and the CynergyFitness team!

Negative experience: Disappointing management does not look out for the safety of their members. As a woman, this negates the quality of the gym in any circumstance. Please do better

Negative experience: Owners of this gym do not care about their clients’ safety. There was an incident where a member of the gym assaulted another member and the management did nothing about it. Then canceled his membership after there was enough members complaining and the out pour of bad reviews. I was informed today that they reinstated his membership and no longer feel safe - I will be canceling my membership this week upon my next workout.

Fantastic experience: Best gym in Bluffton/Hilton Head hands down! Everyone’s respectful, the gym is never too crowded, and the owner Jake is a cool guy who ensures everything is kept in order on a daily. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

Fantastic experience: I visit the Bluffton area a couple of times a year and came across this fitness facility while trying to find somewhere I could workout to stay on my routine. The owners are so accommodating with the membership and the facility is clean, has a great weight selection and friendly staff!

Negative experience: Would give zero stars if I could; still not a safe gym. Gym is crowed with wanna influencers that will catch you in their frames unwanted. Poor management - many comments sadly removed from google which highlighted the truth, shame.

Negative experience: The one star reviews aren't fake; it doesn't matter how many 5 stars come after feb 22nd because the truth will still be there. Those who go to the gym now posting 5 star reviews to save the rating of this gym stand for nothing. This gym had a member carrying a fire arm in the gym and didn't put a no trespass pass on him....people leaving 5 stars after this event don't care because it didn't happen to them.

Fantastic experience: My favorite gym I have ever belonged to! Cynergy is always clean and the staff make for a safe, supportive, inclusive and family-like environment. Jake, Lauren and his team always greet me when I come in, support me or spot me when I need it and help me feel encouraged to workout hard. I have accountability, friendship and support in this gym. For someone who used to hate gyms and toxic gym culture, this gym is night and day compared to other experiences I have had. If you are looking to start or continue your fitness journey in Bluffton, Cynergy is THE place to do it! Beyond grateful for this place!!!

Also I saw some reviews about safety. Just to let you know that a lot of our local police officers go to this gym. Never have felt more safe. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: All these one star reviews in the last five days are fake accounts. Cynergy Fitness is the best gym in the area, hands down. Jake offers something for everyone at a fair price, and without a burdensome contract. I’ve trained and coached here six days a week for eight years.

Negative experience: I go to the gym to relax and workout. I hate not feeling safe, and that’s exactly how I now feel about this location. The violent outburst and threats that have happened here recently are without a doubt shameful.

Fantastic experience: Great equipment, great staff, great atmosphere, even better management/ownership - truly cannot say enough good things about this gym!

Negative experience: Owners clearly don’t know how to handle situations, condone violent and abusive behavior for more favorited members. Do not recommend, no way to run a business or create a safe place for people to workout.

Negative experience: Terrible gym and terrible management. An incident occurred the other day where a gym member was assaulted and management failed to defend/protect the victim and instead chose to protect the aggressor who threatened this gym members life with a firearm. The owners failed to ensure the aggressor would no longer be allowed on site. As a female and a frequent gym goer I would never feel safe here and will be changing gyms. I would suggest to everyone still going/ thinking about going to Cynergy Fitness to strongly reconsider. This is a dangerous and disgusting business.

Negative experience: The owner and manager of this establishment doesn’t value safety

Negative experience: Not a safe a space to workout. They had a member threaten another member with a weapon that was brought in a gym bag. They opted not to take proper legal action to ensure that member would no longer be allowed back, failing to ensure safety of other members.

Fantastic experience: My favorite gym I have belonged to in all of my years of working out! AMAZING ownership, the people up front are like family. They quickly became like family to me. Jake and his team invest in his members, they are there to teach you if you need it, spot you if you need it or simply just hype you up. I hope I never leave Bluffton, because there is no gym like Cynergy!!

Fantastic experience: Stopped by with my girlfriend Madolyn for a day pass visit.Great gym and members are super kind and helpful. If ever in Bluffton stop by and see Jake (owner) for a walk through and introduction. Really enjoyed our visit, relief to be around seasoned lifters; will be joining for sure! Fantastic experience: Front staff is very welcoming and helpful. Child care for those with children. 24/7 access for members. Tanning and a sauna. They also offer many classes for all types, beginners to the over achievers. For the cost per month, you can’t beat it. Been coming to Cynergy for about 10 years.

Fantastic experience: One of the best 24/7 gyms in South Carolina! I've been coming here for almost 10 years now and I love the equipment, atmosphere and friendly staff. Jake the owner is a fantastic guy! I can't say enough good things about this gym. The only negative thing I can think of is that during peak times like any other gym it gets really crowed. I can see why because Jake is always trying to improve the gym. Writing this review at the gym now and I see that there are three new treadmills. Plus Cynergy stays on top of their equipment with repairs when needed and signs to warn members not to use the equipment. They also offer free day care when you workout, protein shakes and energy drinks and free workout classes! You have to come check them out!

Negative experience: Me and my friends came to try it out and it was alright but the ower was yelling at a dude who was deadlifting. He was lifting a pr and recording himself and the owner went off on him telling him that just because he slammed the weights that he is gonna get kicked out and that he has to delete the video it was just a bad experience after that and we ended up not getting the membership

Fantastic experience: Signed up two days and it's everything that I've wanted. Ease of access, friendly staff, plenty of free weights and machines, spin bikes and steppers, and everyone is keeping the place clean.

Positive experience: It was a real pain to find the first time. The gym is on the third floor of the building next to Outback steak house with very little signage for anyone else trying to go for the first time. But once I found it, the staff and owner were very welcoming and friendly, the equipment is in good shape, and it was clean and not too crowded. Definitely gives off a weightlifters gym/athlete gym vibe so if you are looking for somewhere to do serious training this would be a good choice.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been members here for a few years.We love that it’s 24 hours.Also I am a new mom and completely trust the girls in the children’s daycare room to watch my little girl. That is a huge deal since I don’t have to pay for a babysitter while I go to the gym. Oh and the owner really cares. Absolutely love it,highly recommend it.

Positive experience: A great gym with most of the ammenities. Nice new cardio equipment Lots of free weights. Rooms for yoga and spinning. Locker room is bare bones but clean and has a sauna. Very nice. Third floor location gets cardio going. Towels available for users.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been members here for 4 years now. We love our gym and whenever we travel and visit other gyms it always makes us realize how good we have it here. We have a 3 year old so having childcare at the gym is a huge benefit for us. You can't beat the price for what you get anywhere else in town.

Positive experience: Minimalistic gym, no fluff just weights a cardio deck and an aerobics room. $40 a month for a 24 hour gym and no contract...you can't beat that.

Membership is $40 a month and no cancellation or hidden fee's, that's what also makes this gym very appealing. Jake, the manager is also great to work with, is very understanding and listens to his clients needs and will go out of his way to help you or assist you in anyway he can.
