Fantastic experience: Started my new lifes journey this week, and I chose fusion martial arts to help me make some serious changes with myself! I was worried about getting back into it, i had done mma in the past, but im getting older, i had fears because im so outa shape, I have social anxiety disorder, and it sometimes interferes with my life. You name it and i came up with every excuse as to why i dont think i can do all that stuff anymore, but I got up enough nerve and started looking for a academy. I searched several academys all within 30 miles of my house and one stood out to me. Every time i sat down and searched, fusion martial arts kept showing up as the number one place with the highest ratings. They offered everything I had loved in the past, dreamed of getting back into, and even much more. So I got ahold of them, they invited me up for a free lesson. I walked in, and everyone i met was very nice to me, I had a good feeling as soon as I got there. They showed me around, gave me some first hand info about the place, introduced me to the couch, and I started my first lesson. I immediately knew I wanted to join! Not only did I sign up for their bjj program, I decided to join their mma program! I highly recommend fusion martial arts to anyone looking to getting into martial arts, getting into shape, whether ur young, old, it doesn't matter. And if u have young kids they are very good with working with young children, a very family oriented place to train! Looking forward to getting to know everyone and continuing my major lifestyle changes! The first step to changing ur life is always the hardest, give them a chance u won't be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend the American Jiu Jitsu program with professor Michael Hadden! Genuinely one of the best people I know as a person in general, it's a beautiful gym whether doing sport jiujitsu or just wanting to know self defense! Awesome place to cross train as well if you already are into the sport! Very welcoming group of people!!! If you haven't yet or been thinking about it you should definitely check it out!

Fantastic experience: My son had been struggling with finding something to do outside of gaming and school. We signed up for the free week To come to some classes, get a feel if it’s something he wants to pursue and he was immediately saying yes I want to do this. Signing up during the free week allowed for us to get a free uniform and T-shirt and set up a convenient monthly automatic payment for his membership. They have Options for how many classes each week you will come to, and you’re not forced into only coming certain days each week do what fits in your schedule and they want each child to succeed. They teach respect and leadership and being responsible for your actions and the expectations are clear from the beginning. The instructor's challenge the kids to always do their best and provide guidance and encouragement. My son has earned his third belt and wants to continue learning and growing, and has found some amazing friends. We love Fusion!!!

Fantastic experience: Phenomenal Gym. The atmosphere is incredible. Welcoming, engaging, friendly, supportive, respectful, and above all professional. Super super clean and the programs offered are great, with a Jiu-Jitsu program that far and exceeds anything else in the “309” or even the “217”. I’ve trained Jits for since 2017 and this is the best gym in existence here, they even have partnerships with other gyms in town and cities and an affiliation with a World Champion.

Fantastic experience: Our 8 year old son has been at Fusion for 2.5 years. We started him there because we needed another structured place for him to learn self-discipline, body control, and respect. The instructors are intentional to teach good character traits along with martial arts skills and that has been so important to us. We are so grateful for Megan’s leadership and influence in our son’s life! (His review would also say it’s fun and he has made great friends there too!)

Fantastic experience: Fusion Martial Arts has been a great expierence for my 5 year old. Learning discipline and skill based techniques has really improved his athletic ability and social skills. Master Megan is excellent with kids making every class fun with a great level of care and guidance. We have really enjoyed our nights at Fusion with the friendly and professional staff and students.

Fantastic experience: I am 41 years old and the last year I lost 125 pounds and I decided to take up Martial Arts for further fitness goals as i enjoyed it very much as a kid. Based on the reviews of this place I decided to take a chance and its been great. I was messaged by a real person the owner Greg who has been kind and encouraging. Then I went in and was greated with encouragement by the front desk. I started off with a great one on one training session of Muay Thai Kickboxing with a nice young man named Quinton who was patient and encouraging. He went above and beyond. I can't wait for more.

Fantastic experience: Super great environment to learn whatever you're there for. All coaches are so good at explaining and showing how to do different combos and moves. Great community too, never felt judged for being new and made a few friends. Pricing is inexpensive compared to other gyms in the area, and you’ll get your money’s worth for sure. I’d definitely recommend for anyone new or returning to martial arts.

Fantastic experience: I tried Muay Thai at Fusion because of an Instagram advertisement. I was encouraged to bring a friend, so Sarah and I showed up to an evening class one night, not knowing at all what to expect. We were warmly greeted and directed upstairs to learn basics with Coach Quinton. We loved it so much that we signed up the same night! Although we live about 30 minutes away, it was more than worth it to make the drive. Coach Will is very skilled and an amazing teacher. He was able to keep things light-hearted while we learned, but also serious enough to see great improvements in our confidence and execution. Starting anything new comes with its challenges, but I’d do it all over again. I would strongly recommend joining kickboxing!

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough about how much we love Fusion Martial Arts Bloomington! All 3 kids have grown in physical fitness, focus, communication skills, and confidence. They have all made wonderful friends in their classes. Our 7 year old daughter's ability to pay attention, balance, and spatial awareness have improved substantially. Our 11 year old daughter and 14 year old son are growing and excelling in leadership skills, compassion, and teaching. What we thought was a self defense class for the summer has turned out to be so much more. The kids have been attending classes at Fusion for 2 years now, and we couldn't be happier.

From the very beginning, the instructors at Fusion made us feel welcome and comfortable. The gym is clean and well-equipped, providing everything needed for a great training experience. As a parent, it's reassuring to know that my daughter is in such good hands. Fusion Martial Arts has become an important part of her life, and I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a place where their child can thrive.

Fantastic experience: After several months of my nearly 15 year old son being a part of the Fusion FAMILY, that's right, they are like a family, I feel it necessary to share our AMAZING experiences! First a quick background of my son before fusion. My son had issues for a few years with bullying and self confidence even after trying several sports including baseball, basketball, wrestling and football. My husband and I were desperately trying to to come up with a way to help him gain his confidence and find something that he would enjoy. We decided getting him in a mixed martial arts program would be perfect to do just this. Fast-forward to about 4 months or so ago. After looking into MMA programs I stumbled across Fusion and I can honestly say it was like finding the Holy Grail for us! We took our son the first day and to see my son's eyes light up with excitement was like getting the young man that I knew prior to bullying and issues back and it melted this moms heart! He has continued to go a couple days a week, though would love to go more but with schedules and living 35 minutes away it is difficult for us, and MAN has this kid come a long way! He talks about it daily showing us what he learned that day and the people he has met and worked with along the way and the excitement and dedication is something I have never seen from him when it comes to sports.. anything actually He even talks to friends and family about how much he loves participating and encourages them to attend fusion if it is something they are interested in. As far as the instructors Greg and Will, I can not thank them enough for their dedication to not only their craft but to the young adults and older adults that look up to them and learn from them every day! You guys work with your classes and try to pair individuals up that have about the same experience and push them to become better and to learn a craft that is not only good for self defense but self discipline and self esteem/confidence and you do it with such grace and patience. They are teaching everyone the right and wrong way to do each move so not to get hurt or hurt one another in class, all while trying to ensure and encourage everyone to do each move/combination at a much lighter I guess you would say force to really learn the proper way of doing things rather than doing them poorly which, to me, this is important for everyone to progress in their skill. I know this was a long post and I am sorry,not sorry, because it is so important for those who may be on the fence about a MMA experience to know that Fusion will not let you down.. you will not be disappointed and everyone from the adults to the instructors truly act like and treat one another like a family helping each other learn the right way every day! Negative experience: Do not intrust your teenager to these people. In accordance to their website, teenagers are to be placed with peers. This is not the case. They will throw your child with grown men, and when safety is brought up as a concern, they say bumps and bruises happen. A grown man versus a child is not acceptable. I am no longer welcome, and told I was not a good fit, because I questioned their safety protocols. Defaming a person is illegal, please retract what that you said of me being hostile to your staff. Unfactual statements in the response from the owner: -My son is 14 not 15 -The coach is who suggested the younger class, the class goes up to 13 years old, per your own website- I have his text as evidence. -The coach said there will be bumps and bruises, between a 14 year old and grown men. Again I have the text as evidence. -I agree that they are nice guys, they pointed out, he needed more training to be at their level. Something I was willing to do, until I was told it would cost $342 for private lessons, and $700 a month if I had no membership. I was requesting private lessons for him. -You told me it was unhealthy to be motherly and concern for my son in a class of grown men. Again I have the text.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going here for almost 2 months now and I absolutely love it. This is the first sport I actually look forward going to and enjoy every single time I go since I was in high school. I came in completely clueless my first day and now I have so much more knowledge, progression, confidence, friendships. The coaches, the people, and the atmosphere are all amazing and very welcoming. The mats and facility as a whole are impeccably clean too. Joining Fusion is by far one of the best choices I made; it is so empowering, especially as a woman, being able to defend yourself—and it’s so much fun. I feel like Doctor Strange, tapping into powers that I never even knew existed. All in all, 100% recommend!!

Fantastic experience: Whether you’re new to combat sports or an experienced martial artist, Fusion is the place to be! I came in with zero experience and a lot of anxiety, but as soon as I stepped into the gym, I felt welcomed. Not just by the coaches, but also by fellow participants. Everyone’s willingness to help each other and learn from one another has been one of my favorite aspects since starting. On top of that, the gym is always clean and well-kept, and you’re in for a great workout! What more could you ask for? Do yourself a favor and take the leap—you won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: Let me start off by Saying if you’re on the fence about joining Fusion… DO IT!! I felt so welcomed walking in, Will introduced me to all the trainers and showed me around the facility it was clean and very well kept! You know how some gyms have that off smell/feeling not Fusion by far the best atmosphere I’ve experienced! Quinton was coaching us beginners and he was very very thorough in his teaching and he was encouraging the whole time! Everyone is respectful and courteous I’m very very happy to be a part of the Fusion Family!

Fantastic experience: I’d give it 6 stars if I could, Place was very welcoming, the class as a whole was very encouraging and seemed very genuine when meeting the staff and the other members. Very positive community I’m glad I can say I’m getting a start in this community and I encourage anyone to give it a shot! I’ve never done MMA before and it was a lot better than I thought. That is mainly because of a specific individual named Quinton who is a beast on the mat and loved to share his wisdom with me in a private one on one for my first session! I would 100% utilize their free trial! Amazing place to learn a new skill and get some work in!

I found out about Fusion through social media and saw they were doing a sale where new members get 7 free classes and gear, so I thought why not? I signed up after my first class, and since then I have had so much fun and I have been welcomed by such an amazing community and learned so much in the short time I've been here. Will is a great instructor, he's very keen on technique which is great being new to combat sports. I've only done Muay Thai here and the instructor, Will, and owner, Greg, are awesome they make class so much fun so I'm sure the other classes that are taught are just as fun and valuable! Fantastic experience: I started Muay Thai at Fusion two and a half months ago. Not knowing what to expect or what to think not having combat sports experience prior. First day walking in I got approached and embraced by everyone and couldn’t be more thankful, this gym is very well equipped and especially CLEAN! Coaches are very knowledgeable and coaches everyone at their own speed. Once you sign up and start coming to class you will leave everyday more confident and loving the sport more and more!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been doing Muay Thai Kickboxing with Fusion Martial Arts for almost a year, and it’s been a great pleasure to come to classes and learn this beautiful art! Greg, Jaylen, and Will explain the concepts very well and are always ready to check how you are moving and guide you if needed. I’m feeling healthier, stronger, and more confident as a result of taking this class. I highly recommend taking kickboxing with this school. They have classes for both kids and adults .

Fantastic experience: Great group of guys at this gym, walked in knowing basically nothing and got an amazing intro to combat sports. Coach Greg is a knowledgeable instructor -- especially jiu jistu, and the striking coaches do a awesome job as well. I'd recommend this gym both to beginners and more seasoned fighters looking to hone their skills! Especially those who want practice both muay thai and jiu jitsu as both classes are back to back!

Fantastic experience: Our two boys, 5 and almost 7, have been part of the Little Warriors program for a year. They love Master Megan and have a blast in her class. She is good about teaching them basics of taekwondo while mixing in games to keep the kids engaged and active. We appreciate the family atmosphere and no pressure stye of teaching. My wife has also been in the adult kickboxing and Jujitsu classes for the last seven months and looks forward to classes every week. We would recommend Fusion Martial Arts if you're looking for a martial arts studio in Bloomington/Normal!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to fusion martial arts for Muay Thai kickboxing for nearly 2 months now and it has been AMAZING! The cost is reasonable, all the coaches are so polite, patient and so great, timings have worked perfect for me since I work till 5:30pm. I’d like to thank all the coaches for making me fall in love with Muay Thai kickboxing. This place treats you like family! They’ve never tried to belittle me when I asked them basic questions over and over again. Always helped me with a lot of patience and always encouraged me when I was doing better. I highly recommend this place if you wanna have fun working out.

Fantastic experience: I have attended several Martial Arts gyms in the Blo/No area looking for the right one. I found it with Fusion Martial Arts. I’m 55 years old and definitely the old man of the gym but I was welcomed from day 1. I have been attending training 3-4 days a week for several months now and look forward to every class. The coaches are all very knowledgeable and treat everyone with respect mixed with some good natured humor. Anyone looking to start or continue their Martial Arts journey give Fusion Martial Arts a try you will be happy you did.

Fantastic experience: Great experience, the people here are really nice and willing to help everyone whenever. The coaches are very nice, the technique is easy to perform and if you need more training, private lessons are available. Overall 10/10, love the environment!

Fantastic experience: I took kickboxing classes for quite a while and I honestly improved a lot when it comes to speed and technique from when i started. The coach Greg and Jaylen who is aiming to become a coach too are very nice people, they know what they are doing and are always willing to help you in pretty much anything, always trying to take care of everyone and making sure no one gets hurt. The gym is spacious and very clean, classes are fun and really interesting, you learn a lot of stuff and you get to practice them everyday! I would totally recommend coming here.

Fantastic experience: I Started taking Muay Thai classes at Fusion in December 2022 and I have nothing but good things to say. It’s a great workout, and as an near 30 year old man who has absolutely no martial arts experience and little experience in organized sports I was able to pick it up quickly and really enjoy myself thanks to the kind and knowledgeable instruction. There is also a great community there everyone helps each other out and I have made a few friends already. I can only go 2 nights a week due to my schedule, but if I could I would be there Monday through Thursday nights. If you are thinking about getting into martial arts or on the fence about it I would highly suggest checking out Fusion and talking to Greg or Jess!

The technical breakdown is very effective and explained in a way that a beginner can easily grasp. The environment is not overwhelming, it is very welcoming and you are able to train at your own pace.

Fantastic experience: BEST MARTIAL ARTS PLACE EVER!!! I've been going for two years and I couldn't recommend this place more it has programs for ages 5 and up even for adults. I take the kids class and adult MMA. I've learned so much and had alot of fun. The instructors are super friendly and so is everybody else feels a like a family.

Fantastic experience: It was a great family environment, very clean and well put together, they even have a family kids night a fun night while parents can go do some shopping or time free of said child for a lil bit ..... They are very one on one and teach nothing but structure, discipline, and respect the teachings of their martial arts they both grew up on themselves. Both have been involved since arround age 5 or so .... They instill all their knowledge as much as they can, even their personal time if needed, way above and beyond for more of that family supportiveness for anyone involved in their lives . You definitely will not regret anything or any time you may share with them in and out of the classes .
