Fantastic experience: This is the best place ever so me and my buddy we're playing basketball and then LeBron James comes outThis is the best place ever so me and my buddy we're playing basketball and then LeBron James comes out and Then we go out and do like the stairs treadmill thing and then we get absolutely ripped and we go back and then we jump LeBron James and then we go to the pool and guess what there's literally a turd in it this is literally the best place ever I love it so much I glaze it I love it it's the best place in the entire world the most fun place in Blair I love it so much five stars

Positive experience: Wish they had more senior activities. Love going there

Negative experience: They wouldn’t let my sun work out in the gym and I asked to sine the waver for the gym and they said no the do not recommend the ymca in Blair

Negative experience: The staff is mostly welcoming but the director is a jerk. Recently and in times past he has come into a group of older ladies (grandmas + great grandmas) playing bridge and yelled at them for drinking too much coffee and only paying a quarter for the drink, and they donate .25 whether they consume any coffee or not. Could be he just has a problem with all women … I wonder if any others have had problems with him?!

Fantastic experience: I love this place, go here a lot!

Negative experience: This YMCA is awful. Especially if your serious about lifting. To many people standing around hogging the machines. I’m in town from Blair and the ymca in my small town is so much better than this one!! The staff is the only reason why I gave this a star at all!

Fantastic experience: Great staff, great facilities and I love their classes

Negative experience: I’ve been working out at this gym for over a year now. Never had any problems until the other day when I went to workout. I had my daughter with me and she didn’t want to play in basketball in the big gym so I worked out with her in the exercise room. Which I have done several times before. I never work out in there if the door is closed. This time (the door was open) before we came in I doubled checked to see if there were any signs on the door, nothing was posted. So, I proceeded to get weights out and start my workout. (Note: this is in the middle of the day when they don’t have classes, or child watch) In the middle of my workout, Sandy the gym manager came in to yell at me, that “we normally don’t let people come in here. It’s not fair for the people who do the workout classes to have jump ropes on the floor, weights everywhere and we sanitize everything” i said “ that’s fine I can sanitize what I use” I didn’t mention there were literally no signs nor have I ever had anyone say anything to me before in the past, because I really didn’t want to get into it with her. And not to mention, I always pick up my stuff before I leave. I don’t think it’s fair to pay for a membership somewhere and have someone tell me that I can’t workout somewhere and be talked to like I’m a child. If they don’t want people to workout in a room that’s never used during the day, put up a sign or keep the door shut. Not sure if I’ll be coming back. Pretty sure I’ll be cancelling my membership.

Positive experience: Very nice. Group of us Srs play Bingo there, excellant facility, except it's always so cold in the room.

Negative experience: NOT working family friendly at all!! All classes even kid swim lessons and child watch are at times that would only work if one parent is a stay at home parent. Adult classes are even poorly scheduled to accommodate working adults. VERY DISAPOINTED.

Negative experience: The new manager or CEO of whatever his title is, is not a friendly person at all and now what used to be a friendly staff is no longer so friendly.

Negative experience: Its 2019 you would think they were able to share among other YMCA databases that a member has signed up or could sign up for a membership online via the blair website which isnt possible for either scenarios. I think its ridiculous I have to travel with my sick son to sign up in person. But instead I signed up online and for the sarpy YMCA since it's not an option to sign up for the blair one online. . .now my son is not sick and we are traveling 45miles to go to the Sarpy YMCA because of this technical issue that could be resolved with some updated software and possibly younger or more tech savvy staff. We are not impressed at all with the outside of the Blair YMCA either. Not very clean and the lawn needs to be cut.

Negative experience: Been hearing around town that this place has MAJOR mold issues in pool and weight room area...I took it with a grain of salt initially...Well, I got confirmation through someone closely involved with the YMCA that it's true! Beware people!

Negative experience: Thinking about donating to the Blair YMCA? DON'T BOTHER. I was hopeful when they got rid of their previous CEO Jeff Morgan, that things would get better, but the reality is that there are some nasty Board members running the show looking out for their egos and not the best interest of the children. I was a member of that Y for a decade. When they fired the Head Swim Coach and ruined her life, along with her son's, and hurt all of the approximately 100 children on the swim team, I confronted Mr. Morgan and because of his arrogance, ended up yelling at him. Because I stood up to him, the Board thought it best to have the Sheriff show up at my door 2 days after Christmas last year handing me a letter banning me for life. Merry Christmas from supposedly a Christian organization! After Mr. Morgan left, I was hopeful to have our family re-up our membership and go back. I just found out today that my ban will remain in effect. What a joke. That's what I get for doing what's right and standing up for a family friend and trying to protect the kids. This YMCA needs to be shut down!

Negative experience: The courts are always dirty and they never clean. Also the service is always terrible and the employees aren't welcoming.
