Negative experience: I can’t get a hold of anyone to cancel my gym membership, they took this months fee even though I’ve been repeatedly trying to contact them to cancel before it was due via text, what’s app and phone call.

Fantastic experience: Just visiting Stillwater and needed a gym to go to. Instructions were on the door on how to get a day pass even with no staff. Someone came in and let me in through the main door, they were very kind for that. I venmoed the fee and enjoyed my workout no questions asked. Equipment was very nice and everything I needed was there. Gym wasn’t overly crowded. I would definitely sign up if I lived here! Kudos to the owner.

Positive experience: I worked out here with friends a few times and loved it. However I cant figure out how to get a membership. I cant find anything online, they dont pick up when I call, and you cant go in. Theres only whatsapp. I cant figure out why they are making it this hard.

Positive experience: This place has improved a lot in the last 6 years. They've added several legit power racks and bars as well as bumper plates for Olympic lifting. The passive-aggressive paper notes are still taped all over the walls. There's usually a 10-15 minute difference between the wall-clocks and nobody ever seems to update them for daylight savings time. Also, one of the four TV's they have in the cardio area is completely broken and another one displays error messages over the video content. I'm not sure why they wouldn't fix any of this stuff. They also don't offer any kind of wireless audio system for the TV's, so you're left reading the closed captions. Overall, this is a fairly nice gym with good equipment, but the management and upkeep leave a lot to be desired.

Fantastic experience: People are friendly, the gym has a lot to offer. Nice lockers with showers and sauna, free classes available. I enjoyed the CrossFit room with hanging ropes and punching bags. 24/7 access is also very convenient and the rock music is great. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and welcoming! Not over crowded with people or equipment! Can go in a workout with out any distractions! Kid friendly area and daycare away from workout area! All around great place to workout!

Negative experience: Decent gym with good equipment but the customer service could use some serious improvement. Tried calling multiple times at different times of the day to cancel my membership (which I was told I could do at any point before the billing date upon signing up) only to get the voice-mail every time. I went in person to cancel, got it documented, and was told I wasnt going to be charged by the desk attendant. In spite of all of my efforts, I was charged anyways later on. I didn't receive a call back until several days later and was told that even though I'd canceled, they were unable to reverse the charges or issue a refund, and that I'd essentially just have to deal with it but that I wouldn't be charged again. Like I said previously, this is not a bad place to workout at whatsoever, but the customer service and care of their members needs serious work.

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym! The instructions are amazing! The One Fit room now open to members is an awesome upgrade to the previous room. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Travelling through Stillwater and needed a strength and conditioning fix, dropped in to this gem, place was clean, friendly with a great vibe. Received excellent coaching from Ali during the 6:30-7:30 class for a few days. She’s a knowledgeable and motivating coach. I’ll be sure to be back when I’m back in Stillwater!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I love this gym, you can't beat the price for the classes and childcare. My kids usually don't like going to the childcare anywhere because it's boring, but they love going to gym one childcare - the people who work there are incredibly fun and kind. I got a membership specifically for Marsha's yoga class, it is the best! I wish that they would add another of her yoga classes on Monday or the weekend. I found their Facebook page after much searching, but it would be helpful to have a link on their website.

Fantastic experience: Gym one is by far the best place I've enjoyed working out in Stillwater, the staff are friendly and the workout equipment is very easy to learn how to use. A definite must see for anyone looking for a new place to work out in town.

Fantastic experience: Moved to Stillwater a little over a month ago and was worried about dealing with the Colvin on campus. So happy I found this place instead! They have reasonable prices, friendly staff, overall cleanliness, and all the equipment I need. Happy to call this gym home for the next four years

Fantastic experience: I come to visit Stillwater 2-3 x a year and this is my go to gym! It is always clean and the staff is friendly . It is on the smaller side, but has everything I need as well as newer updated equipment. I have also never found it too over crowded .

Negative experience: Gym is limited on equipment/space. The locker rooms were filthy. When asking about memberships, the girl at the counter looked on a piece of paper and rambled off some numbers. No flyers or handouts to take. When asking for a tour, she just said to walk around and take a look.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional manager. When the issue was brought forward it only became worse.

Positive experience: Fairly priced, clean, with diverse amenities. Friendly staff. It's the most reasonable gym in Stillwater, if cleanliness, and variety are the priorities in mind for vs cost.

Fantastic experience: Gym One was my favorite gym I have ever been to. The facilities are nice and the equipment is nice but the people are amazing. It is a place you can call home and spend many hours working out and having fun. Would recommend to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I have been a member since 2016 with a small gap in between. The new owners are amazing and have given a much needed update to the gym equipment. The fact that they offer free daycare (you do need to call in advance to reserve a spot) is amazing. Being from Seattle I was used to paying for child care at previous gyms as well as a time cap on how often or how long they would be watched. The staff and owners are very friendly and helpful. I really couldn’t say enough about them as I truly feels like a second home. They go out of their way to make their members feel welcomed as well as appreciated. I had tried a few other gyms in Stillwater and always ended up back at Gym One...if you want a place to workout, take some classes or just get into shape in general this is the go to gym in Stillwater!

Negative experience: before it was good when the classes were free and they can never take care of the children why with 4 children the nursery is full I do not recommend it at all

Fantastic experience: Started going here from our other gym because my wife likes the classes here. It’s a good gym. Always seems clean. Lots of equipment and if things on them brake they are fast to fix them which I like. They also have a IR sauna that I like to get in before my workout. I normally only go after 9PM when there are very little people there.

Fantastic experience: Great facility. Lots of equipment and a couple of special areas for yoga or other classes. The only reason I don't go here myself is that it is very dark. It lacks natural light and even the artificial light is weak. But I still give it five stars because most people are going for the workout, not the lighting.

Positive experience: Great place for the masses. Not the best place for powerlifting, but can make due. Needs to upgrade to more quality bars due to bending. Needs another squat rack. Overall a great place to be. Workers and trainers are the best people to be around and will always lend a helping hand for spotting or whatever you need.

Fantastic experience: Gym one is an amazing facility that offers a ton of different options for group fitness, individual training, and has a whole host of professional certified personal trainers.

Positive experience: I have been a member of this gym for only a short while but it is already apparent to me that the management is clearly lacking, despite the recent change in management. The gym itself is decently clean and has a fairly good variety of equipment; it only has one squat rack and two of the only three benches are severely unstable, but besides that the equipment is definitely adequate, especially compared to the OSU campus gym. I had an incident about a week ago with a man in his mid thirties taking obvious pictures of me and my friend while working out. As a young female, I was extremely uncomfortable with this and confronted the man, who admitted nothing. The following day, I went to Gym One during staffed hours and a very nice lower level employee helped me identify the man; the manager was not present to help me and the employee assured me that my concern would be passed along. Since then, the man has been back in the gym, I have called Gym One four times during staffed hours, left my number with two employees, and visited during staffed hours and still have received no phone calls from the manager. This is extremely unprofessional behavior about a serious matter. I have worked at a gym before and have seen situations with the man like this turn into stalking and posting on websites and it is unacceptable that this man be allowed to remain in the gym, without so much as an apology from the manager.

Positive experience: Something is consistently broken. Hopefully new owner makes it a great gym. Has a ton of potential.

Positive experience: Don't get me wrong it's a great place to work out but I had to cancel my membership due to never being able to get there or go with work and a new baby, I just didn't have the time so I wanted to cancel, they continued to charge my account and it took 3+ weeks for the manager to contact me after calling literally everyday talking to the same clueless number of people, they would say oh he will call you back, he texted me saying he's gonna call you back? I mean talk about unprofessional? Your boss texted you that he's gonna call me back? So why the hell couldn't he just call me? They did eventually refund me close to $100 dollars but it took forever

Negative experience: I Started going to this gym in Jul, went in and looked at membership options, the girl at the front desk told me there is 50 day for $50 deal, and also 100 for $100 deal as well, I wanted the 50 day deal, but they didnt have change to break 100$ bill, so I worked out that day and came in the second day to pay the $50 for the membership, found another person there who told me they dont offer the 50$ deal, only the 100$ deal!!! I told them what happened they said theyll charge me for the rest of the month so I ended up paying like 25$ for like 10 days!!! then I requested a locker, they gave me one, one day I unlock it to get something and all my stuff is gone and someone else's stuff is there instead, I went to the front desk where they told me (oh that locker is only a temp one) they had some of my clothes there, but was missing a chanel Cologne, shampoo and body wash, I kept calling asking if they found it and each time they say theyll pass a note along so a manager can call me, NEVER HAPPENED, after a good 10 days I called them and threatened to call the police and file a report, 2 days later they call and tell me they found my stuff, I went to get it that day, and the Shampoo and body wash were still missing!!!!! management very very very un-ethical.

Negative experience: Decent gym but kind of angry at the fact that me and my friend both got the 6 day pass where they punch it each time you go in to workout. Many times my friend went in and they didn't punch his just giving him a free day. I on the other hand had my card punched every single time I went in. Definitely a lack of professionalism on their part.
