I'm grateful for James and the BKC for helping me improve my health and fitness. When I started, I was a middle-aged woman who sat at a desk all day and carried around more weight than I wanted. Every year, I got weaker and less flexible. But I overcame my fear of being judged by other fit people and joined the BKC. Now I'm stronger than I've ever been, and I feel great! The people who I thought would judge me the most have turned out to be my biggest supporters. I don't regret it!
I've had a lot of experience with different gyms and trainers over the years, and the BKC is by far the best. Every workout is different and challenging, but they're also adaptable to whatever level you're at. You always push yourself to do better, and as a result, your strength and conditioning improve a lot.
I'm so grateful for your help! I've made so much progress with my climbing this year and I'm WAY stronger than I was last year at this time. I can easily pull myself up over ledges and I have so much endurance now. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Fantastic experience: James and his wife truly offer an experience here that I’ve never had anywhere else. If you need help with nutrition, strength, conditioning, or how to modify the workout for you, this is the place to be. Not only are the workouts hard and challenging; James makes you think about your goals and helps you achieve them, even the ones you realize you never had. He even goes out of his way to hold you accountable and if that’s not enough the people who workout there will. Every person there is incredible and notices when your gone, because well... they miss you. Even though some days the workout may be grueling you come back not only for yourself but also for those people around you and the journey you are sharing in your health. This place is like one big happy family complete with BBQs, games, competition, camping, and more. Thanks James and Mary for the community you have built, I’d still be inconsistent with working out without you.

I have been training with James, Mary and the BKC crew for 3 years. I’ve met some of the best humans there- humble, motivated, fun, energetic and dedicated folks. That’s it. Get in there. Make a commitment. See results! James is passionate, motivated, informed and educated. He has the skills to change up my personal training *mid session* to address different old injuries and basically reset/ recalibrate my body. I see the results week after week, and am back to climbing trees and leaping small buildings with a single bound. His boot camps are intense, full of energy and most important to me- HE FOCUSES ON FORM AND DOING EACH PART OF THE EXERCISE CORRECTLY. I started with the early morning classes, then changed up to personal training. I have enjoyed Mary Wright’s style of training and motivation, as she transforms and grows into her unique style and presence as a trainer. I can’t wait to being able to join the classes again!!
