Fantastic experience: Best jiu jitsu academy in the nation!

Fantastic experience: I was in town for a few months and couldn’t ask for a better place to train. Will is a great coach and extremely knowledgeable. Everyone that trains here are very welcoming and friendly. Ive been to gyms around the country and this one has them all beat. I didn’t want to leave but hopefully I can come back to train again.

Fantastic experience: After moving to Billings for work I wanted to try out Jiu-Jitsu as I had wrestled my whole life. I also had recently done some boxing training and wanted somewhere to train in that aspect as well. The Grindhouse DOES IS ALL!!!! Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, mma, Gi, NoGi, womens only classes, children’s classes! They are more than a gym, it is a family with some of the kindest and caring people you will ever meet. It all starts with the leadership of Owner/Professor Will and his wife Britani! They pour their lives into this gym family and have touched countless lives. I am thankful to be part of the Grindhouse fam! OSS!!!

Negative experience: If you want a place that has zero morals and sets up fights against people off the street with no experience to make their fighters feel like they’ve accomplished something, go here. Absolute trash gym. No honor. Nothing. Pathetic. I’d love to see their sorry excuse for “boxers” fight people with actual training. They’d get shut down quick.

Fantastic experience: No other Jiu Jitsu or MMA gym in Montana has the same depth of knowledge and experience that Will and his team have. Myself and my two sons came in 6 years ago looking for some self defense training and found exactly what we were looking for and more. Such a great group of humans that train here, welcoming, knowledgeable, understanding and willing to share.

Fantastic experience: Will Grundhauser has built an amazing environment for people of all experience levels to grow their skills. Their kids program is excellent as well. They learn respect, how to calm themselves, and of course martial arts. My personal experience has been that the growth from being there is much more than just physical and it filters into every other area of life.

Fantastic experience: The only intimidating thing about walking into this MMA gym is the step before you touch the door. Once the unknown is out of the window this group has been one of the most welcoming/nice environments that I have experienced. It's an amazing place to figure out the type of person you are, and who you could become. The instruction is top notch with new techniques brought from other gyms to enhance the scope of what could be learned.

The athletes who train there, compete with the very best. The environment is friendly and not intimidating. Will, the owner is very professional and friending. He is the best instructor. The Grindhouse is your place if you want to get in shape, learn jitsu, or to compete in MMA. Also I hear they do yoga too!!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic trainers with tons of knowledge and desire to help everyone grow and improve! One of the finest places to train in Billings when it comes to martial arts and fitness development. Would recommend to anyone who wants the real experience, not show and flash. There will be a lot expected from you but you'll also get a lot out of what you put in!!
